Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit and they found some work that needs to be done, I’m not familiar with a lot of the dental field but they took their time to answer all my questions and answer all my questions. I’m not excited for the work that needs to be done but I am excited to come back.

Fantastic experience: As much as I hate going to the dentist in general Highlands Ranch Smiles does a good job of making it a positive experience. Their dentists are knowledgable, do a great job of explaining things, and take the time to answer questions. Everyone is always very nice and consistently check in on how you are doing.

Negative experience: just wanted simple cleaning but no they refused to. Wife was asked to pay for x-ray which we didn’t authorize. And they asked for hundreds of dollars for deep cleaning even we have good dental insurance. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: The staff was very nice, and the atmosphere of the office was pleasant. However, I want to warn potential patients about misleading information on their website. They advertise that they “accept” certain insurance plans, but in my experience, they were not actually in-network for my plan. When I questioned why my insurance plan was listed as one they accept, I was told, “We do accept many X plans as long as their plan offers out-of-network coverage.” That is a direct quote from the office, and in my opinion, it is highly unethical. This is false advertising, and I believe consumers deserve transparency about network participation before booking an appointment. I was told they would notify their advertising agency about the false information, so hopefully they update the website to clearly distinguish between plans they are in-network for and those they merely “accept” as out-of-network.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dental office. All of the dentists and hygienists are top notch and very accommodating. They truly care about their patients and comfort during their procedures. I highly recommend Highlands Ranch Smiles.

My wife, and now two grown adult kids have been going there for more than a decade. They are so kind. So helpful. And it’s not just the doctors. Everyone. Negative experience: Initially I left a great review for this office, over about the last year to two years the service at this office has declined. I went in for my cleaning and Victor was doing my initial polishing and forgot a quadrant of my mouth. When I mentioned it to him there was attitude but then he proceeded to finish the polishing without sensitivity or apology. The actual hygienist that was to do the rest of the cleaning also forgot a quadrant of my mouth as too many people are coming in and doing things at different times. That particular appointment should have also had X-Rays which was missed as well. Now I have a chipped tooth and called to schedule an appointment in the morning and was given a couple options for times. I selected a time that fit my schedule only to get a call an hour before my appointment to be told that because of the time of my appointment, they can’t do any work on my tooth. It’s a small chip and the doctor didn’t ask for any information regarding it, just basically I don’t have time for you. It’s great at first then you won’t be treated very well. I live nowhere near this office but went out of my way as it appeared to be a good group.

This is one busy location and it was gr8 to see so many patients, it tells you they doing good job there. 3 kids of mine had 1st visit here today and I am satisfied with interaction with everyone and their understanding of why we needed to switch from other office. Admin lady who scheduled our appointment for next week is nice and pleasant and understanding. So far HRS gets 5⭐️

Negative experience: This place is a giant scam. Told me they could get me in for a cleaning the very next day and have me a consultation instead and said it was a “evaluation” when they could’ve got all my records from my previous dentist that’s current so we can cut all the lies right there. I said I was leaving a 1 star review for how they are lying and they could care less from what the receptionist said. Just remember this when you go there and the drs and orthodontists start acting like car salesmen trying to sell you on a bunch of lies. What a giant SCAM! Beware. You’ve been warned.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist, Lindsay, is fantastic. She’s gentle and efficient and never makes you feel like you’re a complete failure with dental health no matter what is going on. Dr. McKeever is also great. She doesn’t push unnecessary procedures and really seems to love what she does. I really am not a fan of going to the dentist but this office makes it so comfortable that I don’t even have anxiety about it anymore. I’m glad that I found such a caring office and team.

Fantastic experience: I work in sales, and I hate being sold to. I truly appreciate going to Highlands Ranch Smiles for my dental care. I’ve never had a cavity in my life, and other dental offices I have gone to were trying to sell me a filling for something that might be a cavity. I take my daughter for braces there and they are attentive, friendly, responsive and very professional, in particular Victor Meza. Plus, they’re 5 minutes away, although this office would be worth driving to for sure.

Fantastic experience: It’s been decades since I’ve been to the dentist. Everyone at Highlands Ranch Smiles from the moment I walked in was positive , and when I expressed my embarrassment at neglecting my teeth for so long, to a person, you’re here now. I’m so glad I found them.

Negative experience: Well that was a terrible experience. Went in for the first time and the tech doing my X-rays was making me gag over and over, jabbing into the roof of my mouth so hard that now it’s extremely sore, making my teeth hurt (also still sore) with how the mouthpiece was balanced. After 8(!) or so pictures and jabbing hard into my gums again, I finally told her to stop and that we were done taking X-rays. She brought in the doctor who kept pushing for them and told me they needed the full 20(!) X-ray images. I’ve never been to a dentist who required 20 images, and who made it this awful of a process. I ended up walking out.

Fantastic experience: I’ve hated going to the dentist for years. I’ve skipped years as a result. This is the first dentist that I feel a great degree of trust with. I love everybody on staff there and they’re always incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. Every procedure that I’ve had was carefully explained and needed. I can think of a few others in Highlands Ranch that I’ve avoided as a result of bad experiences, but I’ve never had a bad experience with Highlands Ranch smiles.

Fantastic experience: We had a great visit with my six year old - the front desk staff was friendly and they've got a play area set up with toys and a neat mermaid mural. Lisa the dental assistant was wonderful, taking the time to introduce each tool and help my son understand what was coming next. Dr. Haynes was great too - the exam was quick but thorough and she made sure to explain potential treatments to support his unique needs. Jenny closed us out, did a great job explaining the costs associated with the potential and how it would work with insurance, before setting up our next appointment. We've been going here regularly for a few years and have never had a bad experience. Would recommend to anyone regardless of patient age.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this practice to anyone. Both of my kids had their braces here - they did a terrible job of placing brackets, we were in there every couple of weeks because of popped wires or brackets falling off. In that time that we were there constantly, they did not stay up on how my kids' teeth were looking and my oldest ended up needing the braces removed early to have OTHER dental work done in order to prevent significant damage to his teeth - then they refused to not only reimburse us for the remainder of the wear on the braces, but I have to call every month and remind them to please stop charging us $129/month because we have been paid in full for some time. The finance people will never call you back, and if you have to cancel an appointment they charge you an outrageous fee. I am so tired of dealing with this office over and over - save yourself the trouble, and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience with the service at this dentist. I felt like the staff and the dentist were technical, professional and empathic as well. The dentist even did some research for me. I'm going into the Peace Coeps and she helped me with some herbs and techniques I could bring to a place without a lot of money. I appreciated their efforts and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: The dentist can be a very difficult for kids but my kids love to go to the dentist. All staff members have gone above and beyond to make both of my children feel calm and comfortable with all procedures. I can not recommend HR Smiles enough!

Negative experience: I have been going to this practice for 5 plus years. During my most recent visit it has become obvious they only care about getting people in an out and don't care about patient care. I used to think they cared about each person but now I'm just a number in the line. I saw Dr. McCabe in my most recent visit she did her exam and said everything looked good, next the dental hygienist came into the room she preformed her exam and then left she then informed me I needed to schedule another exam to get my teeth cleaned because she found to many issues and the cleaning would take longer then she had. Since when do dental hygienist make clinical calls? If Dr. McCabe would have been the one to tell me they needed more time to clean my teeth and that it would require another visit I would have no issue. Client beware the Dr. does not make clinical decisions the dental hygienist does. I would compare my visit to Highlands Ranch Smiles like going to Grease Monkey to get the oil changed and half way through the visit them saying sorry we cant do it because the inside of your car is to dirty. Please do a double take before you go to this practice. #theydontcare
