Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my son to this office since he was very young and now he’s 14. The staff and drs are amazing ❤️ thank you so much for taking care of my son’s teeth and making him feel special every time.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Sunkidz Via a close friend. When I called to schedule an appointment, it was super easy, super convenient and fast to get my children in and the person at the front desk was very warm and friendly. When we got there for our appointment, it was a very inviting atmosphere, the staff is fully trained to respectfully and Encouragingly Work with children. From the x-ray technician to each of the hygienist that helps my kids as well as Dr. George It was a 10 out of 10 experience. My kids have been to other dentist office and in no way shape or form where they even close to Sunkidz. As an adult who went to dentist as a child, I will tell you there was no experience I had as a kid that even compares to going into this place. I would recommend to anyone, bring your children to the sense. You will never look at it the same. My children enjoyed it, they allowed them to take Breaks and were very professional. Thank you Sunkidz!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! It was my daughter’s first time visit as she was scared of doctors but this was a different level. They guided her on every stage of cleaning, explaining what every tool is for! Wonderful and very detail oriented employees! No rush! They take their time to make sure their little clients are happy and tear free!

Fantastic experience: Came here with my 2 year old daughter and couldn’t be more happier. This office is sunny, bright and clean. The staff at the front is super friendly. The dental assistant was very sweet and caring when my little one was less than comfortable from all the new stuff happening. They made notes in my chart as to my concerns from the previous dentist. Dr. Patel is a rockstar. She is knowledgeable, caring and gentle. She was very informative during the visit and gave me tips and pointers for great dental care. Definitely our new dental place for my little one. Thank you!

Negative experience: We’re extremely disappointed with our experience and, unfortunately, will not be returning. I believe in giving professionals the benefit of the doubt, but our last visit left us feeling misled and unheard. The dentist claimed that I had approved a specific treatment—something my wife later confirmed was not true. When I asked questions about the procedure and voiced my concerns, I was met with defensiveness rather than understanding. Despite requesting a more conservative filling approach, amalgam was used unnecessarily. After seeking two second opinions from other pediatric dentists, both agreed that neither a silver crown nor amalgam was needed at all. It’s upsetting to feel dismissed as a parent, especially when the treatment involved something irreversible on a 5 year old child. We hoped for a collaborative and transparent care experience, but sadly, that was not what we received.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking to build a long-term relationship. Unfortunately, they operate based on their own convenience rather than genuine partnership or consistency. If you’re hoping for reliability or long-term collaboration, you may want to look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great pediatric dentistry! Patient and sweet doctor with the whole staff being very nice to the little ones. My kiddo is learning to love going to the dentist which is key to her dental future habits. Also their approach is very gentle and flexible and that’s rare to find. Highly recommended!

The staff is friendly and do their best to ensure a smooth experience for your little one. They also have cartoons playing to help keep them distracted while in the chair which is a bonus.

Negative experience: Last week Wednesday, I had an appointment at 2pm. I gave them a curtesy call in the morning, letting them know that 2pm was no good for me so my appointment was changed to 2:20pm. I leave work (Miami International Airport) at 1:30pm and my kids were dismissed from school at 1:50pm. I called again to let them know that I would try my best to get there on time. I arrive at 2:30pm and greeted the receptionist with my name and reason for visit only to be met with disrespect. There wasn’t even anyone in the waiting room so I walked out without a second glance and pray they didn’t charge the insurance since my kids were seen on that day. They have the nerve to call me five minutes later saying I should come back. It would have been better if they just directly told me that if I’m unable to make it at the scheduled time to not come. After being seen for over five years I never expected such rudeness ever. I rate this place 1 star only for cleanliness.

My son goes there now and he loves it they always make time to answer any questions he has and make him feel like his voice matters

Negative experience: When you'll working with 2 years kid. You'll need to have people that actually have sympathy for little kids. My experience with this facility was very strange .My daughter had three people working with her cause she was moving a lot and etc but it was this one worker her attitude was just nasty. It don't make no sense but never again. To be the same color and treating people like that tells a lot about you.

Fantastic experience: My child loves it here. Arriving to her appointment is barely a wait time which I love. They always ask do we have any concerns of any dental problems and even if it seem like the littlest concern to me they never get aggravated by the questions. They All are very polite❤️. Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely incredible. I was a little nervous to bring my 3 year old to the dentist for the first time and I was expecting a way different outcome. The staff here is absolutely amazing! Every single person I came across in this dentist office was so kind, helpful, and amazing with children. Especially the woman who did his x-rays and the cleaning of his teeth, I didn’t get her name but she was INCREDIBLE and made my son feel so comfortable, explained everything to him and answered all our questions. Dr Jen was also amazing and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about her patients. Will be returning here for every dentist visit from now on!!

Fantastic experience: Update! The post below was from 2 years ago after taking my daughter. Today, I took my 2 year old son. He giggled throughout the cleaning and was overall a personality. He told everyone his front tooth was broken and asked if they would fix it. Everyone was extremely nice and made it such a comfortable process. While leaving my son excitedly told me that he had fun and that he loves the dentist. It’s 8 hours later and he’s still happily talking about his fun day at the dentist. The staff was very kid friendly. My 6yo daughter said she felt very excited, but a little scared before they began. She said they were very patient and very nice and made her feel comfortable. She’s no longer afraid of the dentist. She insists that I put “XOXO and ❤️” in the review to emphasize how great her experience was.

Fantastic experience: My 13 years old son with ASD and ADHD had his first dentist visit and thanks to the staff and the dentists it was the best experience!! I was so afraid he would not allow them to do anything in his mouth but he went along with it because they knew how to treat him. I am so happy... Thank you!!! You are great! This time a different dentist saw my children and she was great .. explained everything to my daughter and was very attentive. Loved the staff as well...

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the service at this dental clinic. I called to make an appointment and specifically requested to be attended in Spanish, as I needed to explain in detail a special case involving my younger son. The receptionist, without showing the slightest empathy, simply informed me that there was no one available at the moment who spoke Spanish. She did not offer the option to call back at a specific time or to have someone return my call. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a city like Miami, where there is a large Spanish-speaking population.

Fantastic experience: I live in the hammock area and seen my kids was small then been to this dentist office and let me tell you they are amazing they treat my kids like if there were their kids they try to make them comfortable and happy and me as the mother that’s what I need. I need my kids to feel comfortable when they are coming to the dentist office and everyone inside the office treats you comfortable and nice. Makes you feel like you’re at home I am very happy to have my kids and Dental. That’s why I don’t mind the travel. Because they are amazing. Negative experience: I visited the North Miami location. I'm pretty disappointed with the wait time, I had another appointment to be at by 11:30am. I understand we are asked to be patient as some kids don't like the dentist so staff may be running behind but, I was never told this before making an appointment or if I needed to allow more than 1 hour for a visit. I only saw a sign when I arrived in the waiting area. If this was noted somewhere on the new patient's documents then I completely missed it. I arrived at 9:45am (my appointment was at 10am) I was called a few mins after 10am. I saw the dental assistant who did a quick cleaning as my son didn't allow her to do much and she recommended to do x-rays on the next visit. She advised me I needed to wait for the dentist to see him. Ok cool. I appreciated her kindness. This was all done by at least 10:20am. By 10:50am there was no dentist and had no idea how much longer I needed to wait. I needed to leave and told the staff in front desk I had to go. I was giving an annoyed look by one lady who told me I needed to wait for the dentist. I said I can't, I have to go. So she said ok when can I reschedule you... I said I'll have to call back I can't now. And with that, I left. I really wanted to like this place but they don't see children after 12pm, so I would need to block off at least 2 hours just to be seen, take him to school, and then get to work. Really frustrating.

Fantastic experience: Sunkidz is THE BEST Dentist! I loveeeeeee the staff and how sweet they are. They truly make you as a parent and the kids feel comfortable! HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN MIAMI ! Fantastic experience: So far so good;I would highly recommend this pediatric dentist.The staff was welcoming and the wait time was less then 10mins.The lobby was clean,the treatment rooms were clean,and so was the bathroom. Dr Jen was very informative and gentle with my children,she’s great and I like that about her. The parking is limited but overall it was a great experience for the first visit.

My children have been patients here for the past two years, and this was Dr. Jen's first encounter with my daughters, as she is new to the office. Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the visit I had for my daughter. Prior to this Dentistry I was at another one and was told my daughter only option was an extraction when I came to Sunkidz they examined my daughter tooth and provided an alternative. I’m glad I came to Sunkidz Dentistry for a second opinion they were patient, understanding, and provided clarity.

She informed me of an undiscovered dental issue my child had for many years on our first visit and my child has the best treatment since then. Very knowledgeable and sweet! Her staff is very kind.

Fantastic experience: What an easy going experience! Super user friendly patient portal. Good bye paper registration forms! The greeter was very welcoming, friendly and professional. Social distancing so on point. The office is not overcrowded at all! We waited a little bit under 10 minutes in the lobby and the whole time I wondered if there was anyone inside(lol) from how quiet and relaxed it was. Overhead TV screens to play movies while they're being worked on is a huge plus!!! You will not regret coming here.

Fantastic experience: Always the best and the cleanest for the past 7.5 years! I moved about 40 minutes away (22 miles) and there’s a pediatric dentist office within walking distance, but they were not as friendly nor clean as Sunkidz. So, my youngest kids will be forever loyal as long as we reside in SoFlo.

Fantastic experience: Bring my kids today forn the first time today. Love the have plenty of parking. The office is super clean they are taking all the preoccupations for covid19. The doctor and the staff were very friendly and answer all my questions and my kids questions they notice I live a little far and they help to accommodate the time to do a little extra work for my kids on the same appointment. Love the new dentis for my kids. That time of the 6 months again. Still loving coming here is worth the drive from Kendall very profesionales fast the appointments are in time.
