Fantastic experience: I'd been itching to get braces again for quite some time after my teeth shifted. (Silly me didn't know how long to wear those darn retainers!) Before losing even more self-confidence, I decided to get this straightened out (pun intended) by searching for the best orthodontist in town on good old Google. I'm glad I found Image Orthodontics! The process took a little longer than expected. Minor, gradual adjustments were needed, but they resulted in a major improvement. It's all about the details. As someone whose line of work involves mainly detail-oriented tasks, I really appreciate precision work. Dr. Philipose did something my previous dentist and orthodontist couldn't quite pull off, though they did the heavy lifting. He closed the stubborn gap between my front upper teeth and shaped them nicely. Now they're decently sized—not almost like beaver teeth anymore! I also love the contour of the rest of my teeth. (Third time's the charm!) Obviously, I don't miss getting food constantly stuck in my teeth and the occasional pokey wires while wearing braces, but I'll miss visiting the friendly, sweet staff members! Dr. P and the ortho gang were awesome. Triple-fire emoji is in order!

When I tell you that I really appreciate the doctor and his staff from beginning to end, even those ladies that moved on in their career, I can't stress it enough! Negative experience: I don't understand the five star reviews - we moved here from out of state four years ago, and the reviews are what landed our decision to go here for our son. First the staff is friendly and kind; the concern here is with the Orthodontist and the work he did. Our son had his braces on for over 3 years, on year 2 we were told continually "only a few months left". Okay, that didn't happen and I need to get over this. Fast forward on year 3.5 his braces are finally removed, with the orthodontist doing the final cleaning. Thank goodness right! Nope..... Saga continues, issue 2 - after his braces were removed we brought our son into his regular dentist for his 6 mo. check, our dentist commented on all the glue that was left on and between his teeth, asking where in the world we went, when I called Image about this, they mentioned this was normal as they don't do cleaning, that's odd to me. Issue 3 - we then visited another ortho for a permanent retainer, the ortho mentioned my son had two teeth on the bottom that were twisted as part of the straightening process that should never have happened, and that he had a pronounced overjet (that braces are meant to correct). So we couldn't get a permanent retainer. So please, our advice - ask your dentist first who they would recommend, and get a second opinion to see who you are most comfortable with. I wish we had done that.
