Fantastic experience: That doctors and nurses and assistants are super nice.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was lovely, and very professional got me in quick and took care of me!

Negative experience: Been coming here for 5 years. Always had good experiences. But I’ve noticed a turnover in the staff, and unfortunately the last 2 visits have been a bit ridiculous. Had a regular teeth cleaning a couple weeks ago, it was clear that the girl doing it was new, which is fine, everyone is a beginner at some point. Little discomfort while she’s trying to floss my teeth and snapping the floss, because of the angle she was going at, but whatever. Then the doctor came in & advised I take care of a filling that isn’t an immediate concern, but recommended I take action to prevent any serious issues down the road. She told me $50 dollars would be the out of pocket, which was fine. But, I didn’t have time to do it that day, so I scheduled it for today. Appointment was at 9am, I got in, and without even taking a look to verify the spot needing attention, some lady sat me down & gave me a 3 shots for numbing then said “the doctor will be in with you shortly.” 50 min later… She finally comes in to do the filling. During that time, there was zero communication about any delays. The doctor tells me the out of pocket will be $60 before she starts the procedure, fine. Tooth was aching during the procedure, not sure if it was due to the numbing wearing off, but I was hesitant to say anything because I didn’t want to receive more shots & wait there for another hour. After the procedure I go to checkout, & get charged $75. Tax rate is, 8.5%, which would equate to around $65 out the door. Not sure why I’m getting charged another $10. $75 is reasonable, I wouldn’t of been upset if that’s what I was originally told, but the whole thing seemed like an up-charge every time I got told a price, not to mention the service was horrible. Unfortunately, I think I’ll be looking for a different dental office.

Fantastic experience: I really like this place! So much that I go 3 times per year! I finally found a place where I trust what they say! And for the past 4 years have not had any dental problems! I even drive from Downtown Denver out to Brighton to keep them as my #1 Dental practice! All the employees are very nice and accommodating! From the Receptionist to the assistants all the way to the Dentists themselves!! And because I go 3 times a year I am in and out of there in less than an hour! Every time like clockwork! It's the most affordable dentist facility I have ever been to! That is why I can afford 3x per year! They are an outstanding Dental Practice and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist can be a little frightening and uncomfortable but my experience at Open and Affordable Dental (in Brighton) was excellent!! Everyone there was very professional. My dentist was awesome! They took the time to answer all my questions and explained everything in full detail. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I met with Dr. Farr. She’s super sweet. Explained everything to me. I haven’t had a procedure done yet, but her bedside manner is quite charming and very cautious. Excellent in front That service I look forward to continuing my treatment plan! I can’t remember the girls name that talk to me through the steps, but she was also very polite. The shop is super clean and they have updated technologies.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing dentist office. All of the dentists I've seen have been great. But I always try to see Doctor Far !! She has been great and explains things well She is very gentle and listens to your problems and adresses them above and beyond She really does the best work!

Fantastic experience: The team at open and affordable are incredible. They made me feel comfortable and took excellent care of me in my time of need. Can’t speak highly enough of dr. Barkoff’s skills and care for my dental health. Dr Clair walked me through my next visit and completed the work with a great touch. Top it off with their incredibly assistant Lindsay and the smiling faces up front and I couldn’t ask for a better office!

Fantastic experience: Changed dentist. So far everyone is amazing here. Their hours are extended for those who have day jobs, pricing is fair. Alyssa is hilarious and great to chat with while they are drilling holes in your mouth. Dr Clara has been amazing as well. I think I found my forever dentist! Espe gets a shout out too, as well as Anna, both for being welcoming and friendly. Thank you Open and affordable! Thank you all! Update: a couple of years later and the service provided by this dentist is still above and beyond what I have dealt with in the past. Everyone is always friendly, service is timely, and cost is affordable, even though I do have insurance. Thank you all again, keep up the great work!!

Positive experience: The Dental Hygienist appears to have used my upper lip as a fulcrum while cleaning my upper teeth, as I still am quite sore after 4 days since my visit. I hope someone from the office educates her how to perform the cleaning better in the future!

Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth extraction due to a cavity and severe infection, they got me in same day… Dr. Hain and Dr. Far took such great care of me!!! Dr. Hain gave me the shot to numb my mouth (which was the worst part) and constantly checked on me to make sure I was doing okay, you could definitely feel the empathy… Dr. Far did my extraction and got the tooth out less than 2 minutes! Highly recommend this place. The staff was pretty welcoming as well.

Fantastic experience: I had a feeling that came out after decades and of course it was my front tooth. They were able to get me in relatively quick. The staff was fantastic. The dentist was so nice and they were all nice to each other. Also, even when they were working on my mouth, they were polite and friendly to each other which you do not see all the time it’s very accessible right on the corner catty corner from Walgreens across from Safeway Even though the building was old the inside was very clean. I could not be happier with the way the entire thing was handled.. I will be going back to them for all my dental from now on.

Fantastic experience: I went in because 2 of my teeth had broken off and the fillings came out. One had to be pulled and the other I need a root canal which I have to go back for. The one they pulled came out easily and was over in seconds. Easiest extraction of a tooth I ever had. Very nice staff and Dentists.iI would definitely recommend and probably my kids will go next.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! So attentive and will focus on the issue. Most dentist offices will rack up costs by doing complete pre diagnosis. I had a cracked tooth and they immediately focused on the issue and removed the tooth. Such a great place!!.

Fantastic experience: I was in and out in less than an hour. And the actual extractions were only 30 minutes, I was shocked (and grateful) it happened so quickly. I, like most others, am terrified of dental work. This team did all they could to put my fears to rest and I am so grateful. They made sure I knew I was in charge and could stop the procedure at any time I felt I needed it. And they absolutely did stop the moment I asked, and I only needed to twice. I will always recommend the Open and Affordable Dental team, patient comfort is high priority.

Negative experience: The worst dental experience I've ever had in my life. Waited 3 weeks for my appointment they're running about half an hour late told her my tooth was very sensitive to cold she did a test freezing one of my normal teeth it almost made me jump out of the chair I told her that she will not be doing that to my other tooth she said if she couldn't do that to my other tooth and they won't treat me.. I have never had a dentist tell me if they don't put me in pain they can't treat me! Me and my entire family will not be going back

Fantastic experience: First time patient anxious and scared but every staff member I had contact with put me at ease right away including the receptionists. I was very satisfied with the service and care I received!!

Negative experience: Terrible dentist would not do a filling for me basically said my only option was to crown my tooth when a small piece just fell out they said they wouldn't replace it wanted to pull the tooth no one wants to do any work anymore they just want the easy way out. If someone is willing to pay for a filling whether you think it's right or wrong you should do the work and when it falls out charge him a second time don't refuse to work and say the only option is to pull the tooth. Lazy people I did want to do a follow-up on this message I left, after searching for a dentist or my half broken tooth they told me to wait until I felt more pain and then come back once I got a new exam with x-rays I found out that the information the doctor was telling me was completely false information she told me that the tooth had a cavity that it was too deep for her to do any work that it would have to be crowned after a second opinion the dentist I went to said that was completely false information that there was a cavity on the teeth before the back tooth but not the tooth she claimed that was bad and couldn't be worked on. This place is super kind to every person walking in that door but that is a way to scam someone if you're super nice to someone it's easier to rip them off so just an update the dentist was able to repair the tooth she claimed was unfixable unless crowned it is perfect now the cavity is fixed so I would watch out for false information from the ladies in there I believe this place probably doesn't do much feelings they probably do anything that they can get more money out of the insurance beware before you go here!!! Also ever since I've left there I get calls 10 to 20 times a day from some medical number so I believe if you speak the truth they may start calling you everyday and hanging up.

It only took 9 minutes for them to do it, they were so caring and checked up on me after. Best dental service I’ve ever received. Super happy I found them and will never go anywhere else! Such a great place! Doctor Jeremy is so kind too and so is his team. They really are the best!

No long waits or sitting around, they get you in and out. They're also open early (and late) even on Saturdays! And they do good and comfortable work. I do appreciate finding them tbh.

Negative experience: They can't nor will they work with your schedule even when the doctor himself said he wants me in earlier than the date the front desk lady scheduled me. He gave me a starbucks gift card the first day because i waited an hour after my appt time. I was thinkin they'll be better next time in. No, i had to reschedule and they pushed me out 2 month for a deep clean. Ridiculous. I don't recommend this place at all. Bad customer service.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible tooth ache on a Saturday afternoon, due to a cracked tooth. I called and they got me in the same day at 4:30pm. Ended up being an emergency root canal, that unfortunately ended being an extraction a few days later. The dentists were very communicative through out the entire process re: procedure and pricing and after care. I could not be happier. 100% recommend Brighton Open and Affordable Dental.

Negative experience: My experience here was nothing short of a nightmare. Nobody expects to pay $1k and leave with a tooth in extreme pain. I had a cavity that needed a crown according to O&A. This tooth caused me no pain UNTIL the dentists here butchered it. They put on a temp crown and immediately my previously pain-free truth was in pain. Told them too high, they said I was just numb, temp crown broke within an hour. Permanent crown was EXTREMELY painful, they told me after putting the crown on that ‘further treatment may be needed’ AKA they messed up my tooth so badly that now I may need a ROOT CANAL that was caused by their negligence. The front desk is horribly rude. Go to Mexico before going here, I wish I would have.

Negative experience: Hey Open and Affordable Dental!! Do you guys remember me from the year before last?? Y'all pulled some teeth and were making dentures for me, until the appointment when I came in and let you know that I was moving out of state, then you cut my appointment short, boxed up the unfinished dentures, and told me " Good luck, hopefully you can find somebody that will finish these for you." And sent me on my way. Hey GUESS WHAT?? I COULD NOT FIND ANYONE TO FINISH THEM FOR ME. And I bet you know why.... BECAUSE YOU BUILD MY MEDICAID FOR A FULL SET OF DENTURES BUT GAVE ME A FULL SET OF UNFINISHED DENTURES, DENTURE BLOCKS I GUESS YOU WOULD CALL THEM... And you know Medicaid only pays for dentures once every 56 months which is 8 years. So because you got paid for a full set of dentures that you didn't even have to do I get to have no teeth for the next 6 years I guess it is now... So thank you very much. I look 10 years older than what I am because I have no teeth, there are foods I cannot eat because I have no teeth, and I cannot get new teeth anywhere else because you greedy people got paid for dentures that you did not finish that I did not get to ever put in my mouth. So unbelievably messed up.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist EVER! I lost a filling in a front top tooth. Made an online appointment on a Sunday pm. I got a call following Monday AM and had appointment to be seen 2 days later. Amazing! I don't have dental insurance and pay out of pocket, unheard of in Maine. I would've had to wait months to be seen. The visit from beginning to end was really pleasant, Dr Far is a very good dentist. Quite exceptional!! I didn't feel so much as a pinch of pain. I am a big baby with needles, nothing. Her assistant was attentive and accommodated Dr Far skillfully and professionally. Front desk folks pleasant and rendered service with a smile and a Thankyou. I made an appointment to return in January for full exam/treatment as I'm sure the sugar addict in me will have more cavities. For the 1st time ever I'm looking forward to going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I really loved the location in Aurora. All the doctors and the staff there were excellent. It seems to me this is a companywide thing because this location is also amazing. I’ve taken my seven-year-old daughter here several times. They impress me every time with their friendliness and customer service. Dr. Far is an outstanding dentist and even though I’m not looking forward to the procedures I’m definitely not dreading it because I know I’m in good hands. Thank you for everything. See you soon.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office from the front desk personnel to the Dentists were very friendly and professional. My husband went in to get a couple of teeth extracted and they made him feel comfortable and made sure he had very little to no pain as they were doing the procedure. I would recommend anyone to their office.

Negative experience: I was happy to get an appointment for my 11 yr old son on a Saturday because he was in pain. They took him back and identified where the pain was coming from then did nothing about it but give him a referral to call somewhere else on Monday. They did not fill the cavity that was hurting him or anything, did not offer him an antibiotic, did not fix the problem or even attempt to. Just felt like they billed our insurance and sent us on our way. A complete waste of my time. So dumb. Don’t go there.

Fantastic experience: We needed an urgent appt on a Saturday for our 8yr old daughter. She had a very loose tooth, that happened to be one of her metal-crowned teeth. We were unsure if the crown/cap had come loose or if her tooth was coming in and it was just mother nature taking course. Our regular pediatric dentist is not open on the weekend and the tooth or cap(unknown yet) was loose enough it was hitting her bottom teeth too much for her to eat. I called at 8am and they said they could see her between 8:30-8:45 if we could get there. We live 31 minutes away so we scrambled ourselves together and headed out. Upon our arrival the office staff was friendly and the front entrance felt fresh and clean. They were able to locate our insurance coverage and my daughter was seen within minutes. Starting with a panoramic X-ray to better diagnose the situation, it turned out it was mother nature. The dentist- a woman was very kind and explained to my daughter how she could let the process happen naturally or they could numb her up and get the tooth out on the spot. My kiddo chose the latter. They were so gentle during the numbing shot she barely squeezed my hand! Once the area was sufficiently numb it took only a few light wiggles to release the tooth, they cleaned it up and we were on our way. The assistant and dentist went over the post instructions thoroughly, making sure we knew what she could and couldn’t eat for the next 24hrs. Later the dentist called to check on my daughter and told her what a great job she did. People who care, caring for people is what you’ll find at the Brighton office. I’m forever grateful. Such a great experience and it didn’t break the bank! We’ll be contacting the office that is a bit closer to home for future needs and keeping the Brighton office number handy!!

The assistant and Dr.s were great with me. I overcame my fear easily with them. And the work they did on me was without error! I recommend them to everyone who wants that personal care! Fantastic experience: Went in for an emergency root canal. They seen me right away. I've always been terrified of the dentist. They made my visit amazing. They are all so nice and treat you with care. I definitely recommend going here.

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing.They got me in the same day.Dr Far and her assistait were calm and professional.They pulled the tooth that needed to go gave me antibiotics perscription and I was on my way no pain.. It was 2 days ago.The only thing I would have liked better if they called me to see how I was doing

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have found this dental team. I came from a previous place where the front desk manager lied about billing and refused to talk to the insurance company to sort out the wrong charges. Here, the front desk staff is trustworthy, efficient, kind, supportive. The DH, DA, & dentists are also amazing, quick, caring, informative. I've met all three dentists and they are fantastic. Everyone here has decreased my dental anxiety significantly and I am thankful for that. It is also more affordable than what my previous dental office charged. They live up to their name. I can see why this place got 5 stars and I'm happy to give it that same rating. Keep up the good work all.
