Fantastic experience: Dr. Al Maaz did a fantastic job my crowns on the top teeth! Dr. Al Maaz was very patient with me! He even rearranged his schedule one day to do a repair when I tried to eat something that I know I shouldn't have eaten (it was totally my fault). My top crowns look fantastic and I have a new sense of pride and don't feel embarrassed to smile. I have been going to Commerce Village Dentists for over 20 years. I dont even live nearby, but I make the trip to Commerce. They also have advised me of new dental care procedures that another dental office never told me about. This dental office and all of the staff are terrific!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Phan is phenomenal! He is thorough, kind and patient. He makes me feel at ease during my dental visit despite having dental anxiety. I highly recommend him for any dental needs.... He is great with kids too!

Negative experience: I encourage anyone looking at the reviews to look at the negative reviews. We all have had the same experiences. I have been a long time ( over 20 years) patient. Not sure what happened to this practice, but never again. After breaking a tooth ( they broke it). Leaving me in unbearable pain. Then making me drive 30 minutes away to have a specialist work on me.Thank God I got there safely. After spending well over 6K on two teeth they want me to spend another 6K for a partial. The practice owner said he’d give me 1,500 off my partial that they caused. And when I wasn’t interested in the partial the office staff hounded me. Could not even schedule a basic cleaning without being grilled by the staff about getting the partial ( one tooth).And now one of the crowns they put on recently has fallen off. I’m running to another office. My crowns that Dr. Carl did are still doing great. It’s a shame he left. UPDATE: I absolutely love my new dentist. My replacement crown is 1/2 the cost of what CVD has charged me in the past. My new dentist also said it sounds like CVD is illegally charging. Also, they say I do not need a partial or any intervention currently with the tooth that CVD destroyed. It was also noted by my new dentist that the original crown CVD installed was done improperly letting food get underneath it. This would have eventually caused a bad cavity resulting in another extraction. My new dentist also has all new modern equipment to add. And they don’t need to over charge and illegally bill their patients to have all of the latest equipment. ALSO: My whole family and a good amount of my friends use to use CVD. They all left years ago due to their unscrupulous illegal fraudulent billing practices. I stayed because I liked a few of dentists there who are no longer at CVD. No wonder dentists don’t stay very long at this practice. LASTLY: Read the other reviews… the first one after mine the patient had 8 crowns. Let’s see if those hold up very long. And I’m sure with what he spent he could have bought a used vehicle. And obviously CVD did not read my comment in its entirety. THIS IS NOT A BILLING ISSUE. This is a quality of care issue. And stop harassing me. I’m no longer a patient at your practice.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with my experience at Commerce Village Dentist. Dr. Huy Nguyen and his team, including Julie the technician who assisted, did an amazing job! My new dental emax crowns are absolutely beautiful and look completely natural. It was a huge convenience to have the entire process, from consultation to completion, all done in one place. ​I was a patient of Dr. Nguyen's many years ago and he performed cosmetic work on me before I moved out of state. It's a testament to his skill that the work he did then truly stood the test of time, even receiving compliments from several other out of state dentists. When I recently moved back, I made the decision that I wanted Dr. Huy Nguyen to upgrade my smile using the newest technology available. I wouldn't have considered anyone else for my cosmetic dentistry needs. Dr. Nguyen is truly an artist who uses his immense talent to transform a smile!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming here for years and during my last appointment I had a pretty unpleasant experience that was definitely unusual for this office. My mom was in the office about a week later and told the receptionist about my experience and I am blown away with how well they handled it. There was an immense amount compassion and empathy from the team. They took necessary action and even gifted me with a Starbucks gift card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was way above and beyond!! I have never experienced such amazing customer service and I couldn’t begin express how warm my heart feels! Thank you commerce village, you guys are amazing!! Helping her each step of the way and explaining everything. The kindness shown to a 5 year old instead of pushing her worry and questions aside was next level experience! Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for at least 15 years. Dr. Nguyen is awesome, so nice and always answers all of my questions. I just got implants, he did a great job! It was so easy, and not painful at all! Cleanings are a breeze, all of the ladies are great! Jan is great helping me understand my insurance, and letting me know ahead of time how much my cost will be. Everyone there is so nice! I come here for all of my dental needs, and have recommended to family and friends. Edit to add: I just got my last implants today! They look great, I'm so happy! Made sure the fit was perfect! Get the implants, you won't be sorry! Love the people here!

Fantastic experience: Went to Commerce Village Dentist for years, and then I moved to Livonia so I wanted to find a dentist closer to my house. After going to a couple dentist, I did find one that I liked, but he just retired. I tried another dentist in Livonia, but was not happy with the results. So I am now back at Commerce Village Dentist because I know that my teeth will be well cared for and I will be treated well. Had my teeth cleaned and everything went great. Jay was professional and very nice. And Ashley helped me check out, and she was very sweet. As much as a DESPISE Union Lake Road traffic, I know it will be worth it to have my teeth taken care of at Commerce Village Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here at Commerce Village Dentist for quite a few years now and I can honestly say that the dentists and the staff are top notch. They all are very friendly and make you feel like they truly care and are not just ‘a patient’, but like their family. I decided it was time to get full denture implants on top after having crowns, and bridges for the last 30 years or so. Dr. Sinjab was absolutely wonderful! He explained every step in detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and surgery. Dr. Nguyen always came in the room whenever I was there to also check to see how I was. Once I was ready for the denture over the implants, Dr. Al Maaz took over and was just as awesome and so nice! It took a lot of time to get where I am today and I couldn’t be happier! I got my final implant denture today and I just can’t stop smiling. Thank you to all of the staff who I’m pretty sure they all know me by now. Nancy, Jessica, Dana , Jan , and so many more!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr ALMaaz was perfect!! I had seven of my front teeth replaced,they look and feel spectacular,I couldn’t be happier!!!Also my bite feels better than it has in years!I’m no longer self conscious when I smile.

Fantastic experience: Dr Isler fixed a 3 year ongoing problem! I went in for a difficult extraction, that had been causing 3 years worth of continuous sinus infections and pressure. Dr Isler, a specialist in the office, took an updated CBCT image and diagnosed the problem, I had no idea. It was a previous root canal tooth that a previous dentist botched and broke files in my tooth. 15 minutes into the appointment the tooth was out was a big cyst on the root. I woke up the very next morning able to take my first full breath through my Left nostril in 2+ years. If you've got an issue you're a little nervous about, Dr Islers chairside manor and knowledge is A+! Would highly recommend for anyone in need of a really good Periodontist.

Fantastic experience: I have not been here in over a decade. They got me in within 30 minutes, for an emergency. Were able to have me examined and have xrays taken with 30 minutes of arrival. They were willing to wiggle there schedule to get a root canal done same day. While I couldn't accept that appointment and had to schedule it out, I truly appreciate that they went above and beyond to try their best to get me out of pain!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Negative experience: I went here many years ago and should have left a review then then but here it is now. My experience here was beyond horrible. Their billing department struggled to process my insurance. On the final statement, they attempted to bill me for the full amount when in reality my insurance covered it in full. Frankly, Dr Grewal is a jerk. He talked down to me and did not complete the dental work properly. There are plenty of actual competent dentists around. I would avoid this joke of a place at all costs!

Staff is all-knowing on scheduling, insurance, and newest, greatest, painless up to date cleaning procedures. I get the water pic cleaning, no picks and scraping. The dentists are not stingy with the time they spend with you and are very personable. Beautiful newer building full of good times. All the staff deserves a decent raise. No more dreading the dentist.

Dr. Nguyen made sure I was always comfortable and took his time to be thorough. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable and I was very relaxed while he worked on my tooth. His assistant, Jay, did a great job as well. He was very nice and personable. Jay explained everything that he was doing and what would happen next. When I checked out, Mary helped me. Then to Ally the hygienst which was amazing and knowledgeable! Dr. Grewal explained everything in great detail with some humor thrown in that made the idea of dental work seem, not so stressful. Last but not least Liz checked me out with kindness, efficency, and knowledgeable. Everyone was a pleasure and I highly recommend!!!
