Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Heart of Vinings Dentistry for over 3 years, and they have been truly terrific. From cleanings to fillings to billing, everything has been very clear, thorough, and top-notch in service. I chose this practice due to the convenient location in the Smyrna/Vinings area, and I’ve stayed for the excellent patient care. I just had a filling replaced - it took 30 minutes same-day as my routine cleaning and it’s perfect. Dr. Shariati has been an absolute god-send of a dentist - she’s always been so thorough and helpful through every process and procedure.

Fantastic experience: Had a temporary crown put in. First temporary crown I've ever had where I had to keep reminding myself I had a temporary crown. So that was the good news. Bad news is: it fell out. Good news is: they got me in the next day, cemented it back in place, and I went merrily upon my way. Fantastic. Also, if you're concerned about not getting COVID, they have a Synexis dry hydrogen peroxide system in place...because they don't want you (or themselves for that matter) getting COVID. Health providers wanting you to *stay healthy*? What will they think of next?? These folks are great.

Fantastic experience: Any type of doctor visit is stressful but this team did such an amazing job at making sure I knew exactly what the cost breakdown was and helped me get the care/direction I needed without accidentally running up a bill! Everyone I interacted with was so kind and caring, it truly makes all the difference especially when you get tough news. They are technology forward, great at communication, great at the follow up, provide excellent service, and do a great job at providing a clean and comfortable experience and environment. Fantastic experience: This was my and I third visit to this office. The complimentary covered parking which is a plus. We were promptly greeted and seated and there was not a long wait before our hygienist, Ciara, seated us for our separate appointments. She explained what would happen during my visit. We had great assessments by our hygienist and the dentist before our semi-annual cleaning. Afterwards were given a care plan along with a warm disposable washcloth to refresh our face. I was surprised receive a replacement brush for my oral-b toothbrush along with hand brush to clean in between my teeth. My daughter received a toothbrush and the same hand brush.

Negative experience: So......... You know how there is a fee assessed to the patient if you don't call and cancel 24-48hrs prior to your scheduled appointment? WELL why isn't a patient credited that same fee when the dentist office cancels your scheduled appointment AFTER you are AT the office waiting for the work to commence ??? After you have taken a day off from work WITHOUT pay. I understand that the dentist had an emergency with another patient, however that same consideration should be given when you have an emergency. ........Make it right.

Business team, staff, hygienist, and dentist were very compassionate and thorough. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jay Kansal Is the real MVP and probably the only dentist I will EVER trust with my teeth. I found Heart of Vinings because I needed to correct a problem another dentist had created. I got a filling done by another dentist and it deep and hit a nerve. I needed help and FAST but I had been traumatized from the previous experience so this time I did my homework for top dentists in the area. I found HOV and from the first visit I knew I was in good hands and because of that I didn’t hesitate to change my kids dentist. Eunice at the front office has a lot of patience and over the years she’s been great and has always been helpful. Everyone at this office is wonderful and if your are looking for good and professional service then this is it.

Fantastic experience: Heart of Vinings Dentistry is awesome! I am a bit of a nightmare dental patient because I always have a lot of work that needs to be done and describing me as an apprehensive patient would be an understatement. Dr. Levine is exceptional. When my former dentist of twenty yeas retired, it took me five years to find a dentist that is as skilled, patient (a lot of my work requires cosmetic dentistry) and puts patients before profit. For example, there were three options for me to achieve the desired results for my teeth and smile, and I was heavily leaning on the most expensive route. Instead, Dr. Levine explained in detail to me why that option would not be the best due to my age and recommended a different option that was about half of the cost. Highly recommend!!! Also, state of the art equipment, technology, and they also have an in-house plan that keeps costs down for patients, like myself, where insurance does not cover most of what I have to get done.

They also provided constant communication on any potential costs above the copay, unprompted, during the cleaning and examination. It was a refreshing attitude towards selling additional services, and what they offer is entirely elective past the cleaning or any required imaging fees. I also love that they have updated newer technology compared to other offices I've been. They also don't push procedures and things on you that you don't actually need. Fantastic experience: This morning I met heart Of Vinings Dentistry hygienist, Jill, and I am a forever fan! I have sensitive teeth and I never felt a thing. The water sprayer sends me through the roof so Jill fed me water from a cup little by little to rinse and spit. She took so much extra care to make sure I was comfortable. I also met Dr. Levine, who examined my mouth when Jill finished. She was warm. Personable and most importantly, very thorough, as we discussed my future mouth health and the best plan going forward. Fantastic experience: After a too-deep filling hitting my nerves by another dentist and needing to get an emergency same-day ASAP extraction, I called several dentists in the area and HOV were the first to answer and quickly get me into an appointment just a couple of hours later. It started with April's warm, happy, confident energy, making you feel safe when you step inside. Then, moving on to Farrah's deep analysis of an x-ray that the previous dentist took and didn't go over with me. Her knowledge, confidence, and validation of my fears was very comforting. She answered all my questions with so much patience. At last, the care and direct, honest communication of Dr. Shariati put me at ease, knowing I was being taken care of by experts. Both Farrah and Dr. Shariati encouraged me and told me I did a great job, even though I was a nervous wreck when the tooth was being extracted. They made sure to keep things light and take my mind off of the procedure. I appreciate Dr. Shariati's straightforward, warm, and confident energy. From the friendly greeting at the front desk to the procedure room with hygienist Mollie(who is THE BEST EVER!!) to the care from Dr. Mercke and Dr. Levine- the care and professionalism is always top notch. Fantastic experience: After many years of telling my old dentists that something was off I finally found a dentist Dr. Dahlia Levine that would listen and she found a problem in my jaw and in my old root canal. We made a plan of action for it. I went there initially looking to improve the aesthetic of my smile and what I had in mind she completely changed it for the better! Her team is patient and caring when you explained the fear you have of dentists. They even have a menu of all the things they can do to make you feel comfortable (like a spa) I left there in awe of her knowledge and so thankful that she found the root of my problems. I love them 10/10

Fantastic experience: My first visited with Dr. Patel was amazing. The receptionist professionalism was on point. The dental assistant was definitely interactive in explaining how the process work. I must say, Dr. Patel, is transparent and you can see that he cares about his patients. I will definitely be making Heart of Vinings my new dental home.
