Fantastic experience: My son slipped in the shower and lost his adult front tooth from the root. Dr. Vinny came in for an emergency visit on a Friday night for him. He went above and beyond for a scared 7 year old. He will be a patient for life .

Negative experience: Terrible practice. The place is clean enough, and the front desk staff is polite. The issue I have is with the treatment I received. Not only by the doctor, but by the management as well. If you have severe pain and are told you have the option to go elsewhere for treatment, but choose to go with a trusted doctor that you know when it’s Friday night and everyone is closing. When your pain isn’t that bad. You trust the doctor that have your X-rays to give sound advice. I was not told that my tooth infection was in my jaw that Friday. I was not told that it could turn into one of the worst dental pains I’ve ever experienced. But I was told time and time again after a very painful weekend that involved me going to the hospital for morphine and heavy duty antibiotics that I should have had the tooth pulled that Friday night. It was too late to be making suggestions don’t you think? So when I went back to have the office figure out why I owed anything at all when I went through hell all weekend as a result of their negligence, they performed a lackluster investigation to verify that was I said was true. Listened to recorded phone calls but never spoke of their findings. Sent me to speak with the owners who insisted all of this was my fault. Of course you think that, because you only care about the money. These large practices are all the same. It’s a business. They don’t care about you, so go elsewhere if you care about yourself. Because they certainly won’t.

Fantastic experience: This group worked us in while I was traveling through with my son, who had fallen and loosened a tooth. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, caring, and extremely competent, including the receptionist, hygienist (Robin?), and dentist ((Dr. Raucci). After the excellent examination and discussion, Dr. Raucci strongly advised us to see an orthodontist and called one that he recommended and got us an appointment for an hour later! My only regret is that this dentist office is not in Houston, where we r from.

Fantastic experience: Came in with a chipped tooth and cavity. Dr. Vinny took care of me. Drilled, filled and got me in and out painlessly and quickly. I could not be more pleased. I was also impressed with Sabrina (I think that was her name). She had every implement ready, anticipating Dr. Vinny’s every move. I could not be more pleased!

Fantastic experience: A five star professional dental group ... Prompt, well rounded and courteous staff ... Dr. Powers is my dentist one of the best in the business

Negative experience: I had a cleaning done here a while back and and also had my first fillings ever done here, one of the those filling which was for a lower incisor identified as a food trap by Mr Powers, due to a gum injury, is discharging ooze every time I press my finger against the gum below the filling. I’m very upset , currently trying to find a solution to the problem elsewhere that hopefully doesn’t require me loosing more healthy tooth unnecessarily.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and great service. Started going to Fantarella Dental Group to experience a new dentist. My daughter had a great experience there and I’m looking forward to my next cleaning there soon also. My wife and son will be making appointments soon. Lol

There were years of specialist, 5 star rated dentists, many, many thousands of dollars...and no one could fixed my dental issues....until Dave Fanterelli. He and his practitioners are caring, efficient, competent, and professional. Dave's work is beautiful and his staff are courteous and, like Dave, professional. I'm finally happy w my dental situation and it was no small effort. Dont be like I was and waste your time and money elsewhere. Just go to see Fanterelli. You will be happy.

Fantastic experience: My crown fell off on the long weekend. When I called to be seen, the only opening was in the Wallingford office. Everyone was welcoming. Dr Reviewed my x-rays. Originally thought tooth was broken. We discussed my options. Submitted the paperwork to see what my insurance will cover, glued the cap back on in the meantime. It will not be a permanent solution.

Fantastic experience: I had my front cap replaced yesterday which I fondly referred to as my “chicklet”. I hated my smile four years but fear stopped me from having it replaced. Negative experience: I tried calling, emailing, and even visiting this practice in person multiple times over the course of several weeks to inquire about potential shadowing opportunities, as I’m an aspiring dentist. Each time, the front desk told me to reach out to the manager, but I never received a response until almost two months later. I understand if a practice isn’t accepting shadowing students, but that should have been communicated clearly and promptly. Instead, I was left waiting with no clear answers. The lack of professionalism and communication was extremely disappointing, especially for someone genuinely interested in learning from this field.

Fantastic experience: The staff, hygienists, dentists and dental assistants were all wonderful! They made my 10 year old son very comfortable - even having a cavity fixed. They use laser technology so he didn't even need any numbing! And now he wants to know when he gets to go to the dentist again

Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit today and couldn't be happier! The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm always nervous going to the dentist and this was by far the best experience I've had. Angela was my hygienist and she explained everything she was doing and immediately put my worries to ease. Fantastic experience: This was the best dental experience I have ever had, and I am almost 60! Dr Mike is a Wonderful dentist. Honest and giving me options, With a way to have relief while I researched all the options, so I didn't make a rushed mistake. The staff was super sweet and it started with Terry, who took wonderful care of me getting my account all set up. Then I think her name was Kristie who was Dr Mike's assistant. I was then blown away to find that the cost was only half of what I had been paying others to do even less. Please don't change a thing!!! I have never said this about a dentist before, but I am looking forward to my next visit. ! 2023 update! Another wonderful visit to the dentist. Thank you Dr Fantarella. My favorite magic dentist. Saved another tooth. I cannot say enough nice things about this place, the best I can do is recommend my family and friends. 2025 update !! I had to have a tooth extraction, due to a 58 year old issue. And a mom who didn't understand dental hygiene. I was terrified due to past extreme bad experiences with other dentists. Once again, this office has turned a frightful thing into something manageable. Had Dr Powers for the first time. He not only told me everything to expect, (which I asked him to do) but put me at ease. I absolutely recommend this office to all my family and friends. Thank you for always taking care of me.

Fantastic experience: Our kids hygienist Debbie is awesome! She is very good with my kids, they are comfortable with her. She is calming and friendly to my kids during their dental appointments. We have a pleasant experience with her, my kids were not scared to visit their office every time. Their office is big and they have lota of rooms. The staff at the reception is also polite, not rude. Its a kid friendly dental office, they have toy treats for them right after the appointment l. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist. Let me start with that. I broke a tooth on a Saturday. My wife said call my dentist, they're great. Fine, something had to be done. I called first thing Monday morning. They gave me an appointment at 4:00 the same day. First of all, this is the nicest dentist's office I've ever seen in my life. It's huge, it's vast, it just goes on and on. Everybody in there is so nice. The dentist came in. Dr. Mike will call him cuz I can't remember his last name. He was great. He looked at me. They took some x-rays. He said. Here are your three choices I said. Okay let's do the last one which is making me a crown right then and there. They made it in house as I waited. Two hours later, I left the appointment with a brand new crown and problem was solved. Doesn't get any better than this.

Negative experience: If I could give them a zero I would, absolutely the worst customer service! The so-called office manager, if that’s what you want to call it, and the young girls in the front are rude and refuse to be helpful. Save your time and money by going somewhere else. And no there was no previous notice of a cancellation fee and the appointment was never confirmed. I will stick to my word, find yourself a new office manager who knows how to run a business. This isn’t the first time she’s screwed us over, hence the $300 credit on my account she forced us to previously pay because she didn’t know what she was talking about. We will be taking our business elsewhere. A zero can’t justify how terrible this dentistry is, from customer service to dental work! Pain free lasers?! They literally tortured my child and left her with a hole in her gums. They are more worried about filling seats and taking your money. The absolute worst!

Fantastic experience: I used to fear going to the dentist not anymore, since I have found fantarella Dental Group and Dr Mike. He really cares about his patients and listens to any concerns you have, and does everything to make you comfortable. He is a superb dentist! I had a cleaning today and it was the best cleaning I ever received by a girl named Grace. The whole office is friendly and wonderful and I can't say enough about them.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable experience. I brought my Mom for implant consultation, Dr. Garaffa saw the tooth and said that the tooth can be saved, Dr. Raucci walked in and fixed the tooth, created the crown and we were out of the door in 2 hours. Saved so much time, saved the tooth and didn’t perform unnecessary procedures all pain free with no novocaine. My Mom had a lot of dental work done in this office. Dr. Fantarella is amazing, has fantastic talented team and state of the art equipment. So grateful!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Fantarella Dental Group in North Haven for a while now and always had a great experience. My daughter and I started going to the Wallingford location since it is closer to home and I have never met more nicer people!!! Recently, my daughter had to get some baby teeth pulled and was nervous. During the procedure, Amy was so calm and reassuring with my daughter, it made her feel way more relaxed. Dr. Powers is our dentist and he is awesome! I honestly don't want to go anywhere else!!!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to Fantarella Dental by a coworker for a dental implant and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Even though it was a long process, I’m incredibly pleased with my results. For my long awaited final step, I was contacted by the staff last minute that my appt had to be rescheduled - but another dentist offered to step in and accommodated my original appt. Dr. Vinny and Dr. Mike did a fantastic job! All of the staff are super friendly, professional, and accommodating. 5/5!

We like the following points: 1) The facility is large, like a small-scale hospital, with many dentists and hygienists on staff, so the wait time is minimal. That’s very important if you have a busy schedule. 2) The facilities are very clean. 3) The secretaries are friendly and helpful - if there is a problem, they show the good will to solve it collaboratively, instead of creating more problems for customers. Not too many secretaries, just enough to do the job efficiently. 4) There is a 3D X-ray machine to diagnose anything with maximum accuracy. 5) They have a 3D printer on site, so they don’t have to outsource the production of parts, thus saving time and money. Dr. Michael Garaffa is very prepared, professional and friendly. We tried many different dentists in the area, with bad results and a lot of time wasted. Some people don’t have a 3D X-ray so they can’t diagnose. Some people have too many secretaries - e.g., 2 dentists and 10 secretaries, who are really family members and friends, and can’t do the job. Some people don’t use HR to select their assistant personnel, so they end up hiring abusive and disturbed individuals. Some people have a love affair with their hygienist. And finally, some people are very frustrated with their own private life, so they project on the customers who really couldn’t care less. Luckily, Fantarella Group is safe from all this harm. So far so good, in our experience, and we really hope they stay the same! 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Every time I have an appointment here, I am in awe of the efficiency, technology and overall experience. Everything is top notch, beginning with the receptionists! Dr Lindsay is the best! Her ‘chairside manner’ is awesome and I’m so comfortable with her dental expertise. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantarella Dental Group is amazing! They use state-of-the-art modern laser technology, and I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at the dentist. The entire team is polite, incredibly patient, and attentive. They accept all kinds of insurance, and their prices are comparable to other places. I wouldn’t even consider going to another dentist!

Everyone from Valerie the receptionist (who was an absolute Angel) to the hygienist who was phenomal, to Dr. Lindsay was amazing.
