Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of unfortunate situations in the past with regard to the care of my teeth and gums. During the covid years I didn’t have my teeth checked and cleaned as often as I should have. After multiple gum infections and loose teeth, I knew I had to do something. I had a consultation with several other dentists who proposed extractions, bone grafts, implants and a bridge or having all my lower teeth out and a denture, which would be challenging with all my bone loss. Both these options were so difficult for me to accept. I decided to have a consultation with Dr. Neichin at Dental Care of Stamford. He told me he could save all but one tooth. He did the periodontal procedure and afterwards told me it was worse than he thought, really bad actually, but was able to take care of it successfully. Everything went well and my gums have healed beautifully! He told me to now do my part and have my teeth cleaned every 3 months which I absolutely will do! Dr. Neichin is so gentle and so skilled! Before you do anything drastic, have a consultation with Dr. Neichin! Additionally, Dr. Simon, who started Dental Care of Stamford, instills a sense of calm and confidence. He and his team are very friendly and supportive.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Roth and couldn’t be happier with the results. They offer extended hours and Saturday appointments, which made scheduling so convenient. Everyone in the office was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Negative experience: Went to get a tooth removed as it was hurting and infected. I explained that was all I wanted, but they relentlessly kept asking me what I wanted in the long run. I explained again we can explore that but for now removing this tooth is priority. Well, they did everything except remove the tooth, keeping me in pain. They did multiple expensive xrays , and at the end I had a huge bill to pay however nothing was done to help me at that time. This place is a money grab, I was warned prior to going but removing my tooth was all I could think about. If you have a tooth emergency, think twice before going to this place. They talk and talk about making you a customer for life and leave you hanging in the end when all you want is a simple tooth removal. I had to go home, get a sting and tie it to my tooth and remove it myself, took 8 seconds, but 2hrs at a dentist office they can't do it. CUSTOMER BEWARE...

While we understand wanting immediate relief, our goal is always to do everything possible to save your natural tooth first, since that’s usually the best long-term option. Pain doesn’t always mean a tooth must be removed, and with every specialist under one roof, we’re able to explore all options before recommending extraction. We regret that our efforts to explain those options made you feel like it was a sales pitch—our intention is only to ensure you have all the information you need before making a final decision.
Also, you should never attempt to remove a tooth yourself, as this can cause serious infections or costly complications. So we strongly encourage you to seek a professional exam—even if not with us—to ensure no abscess or infection is developing from your own at-home tooth removal.
Negative experience: Up sell, up sell, up sell, even after I asked them to stop. 'Must have' fillings need to be redone, they didn't repack the void they created, thus resulting in my tooth cracked. They didn't fix the situation, even after complaining. RUN.

Fantastic experience: I have been putting off going to the dentist due to fear and my teeth have gotten pretty bad . I finally called Dental care of stamford and I am so glad I did . Melissa at reception was so pleasant and friendly when I made the appointment. When I arrived Mimi greeted me with open arms . She was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me . I will be going back to get much needed work done by Dr Roth . I can’t wait to get my smile back .

Fantastic experience: Just had a root canal performed by Dr. Jasmine Oghaz. She is absolutely AMAZING. My case was a little difficult, as she had to drill through an existing bridge, but she performed flawlessly! I didn't even feel any discomfort from the novocaine needle! I've had more discomfort from a tooth cleaning (the Cavitron is my nemisis)! After she finished, I got into Dr.Simon's chair for the filling; I've known Dr. Simon for over 40 years, and although I left his care briefly, I've seen him exclusively for the past 26 years. Everyone at Dental Care of Stamford are top-notch professionals, from the office staff to the reception desk, Hygienists and support techs. I'll never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I was so afraid when I went in to Dr. Simon. I had terribly painful experiences at other dentists. I had 3 HUGE cavities (including a crown) and I was shocked that it was almost pain-free!!! Dr. Simon was so gentle and so kind and reassured me the whole time! I l recommend him wholeheartedly!! Now I’m not afraid to do the right side which also has cavities. I feel confident to have the work done with Dr. Simon. The whole office staff is friendly and warm. Excellent experience.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I had a strong sense that I needed significant dental work. I went to the Dental Care Of Stamford website which convinced me to make an appointment to get an evaluation. I was warmly greeted by Paula with a professional orientation to the complete dental services provided and the financial options available. The complete dental care provided was a major attraction! I was given an evaluation which Paula reviewed. I agreed with the dental work to be performed and the costs. An appointment was then scheduled with Dr. Simon. Now that my immediate dental needs have been completed, I couldn’t be more pleased! I have nothing but praise for Dr.Simon and his staff; all caring professionals. I can’t remember all the fine people who serviced me. Notably is Dr. Cohen, who performed my oral surgery, the hygienists Albina, Faye, Gabby, Danielle and others, and the receptionists. Dr. Simon and Paula coordinated all the dental services I received with Dr. Simon also performing my dental work and fitting me with dental prosthesis. Fantastic experience: When coming in for my first visit I was extremely nervous with my anxiety thru the roof. Spoke with Mimi and she being the excellent treatment coordinator took the time to first get to know me and understand my needs as a patient. Everyone in the office was very helpful and very supportive. I also had the honor to be introduced to Dr. Roth who is by all accounts the best in the business, he diagnosed my condition with my teeth we scheduled the work to be done which I have to say it was a lot of work. The process from beginning to end was extremely challenging but everyone was fantastic and did an excellent job with the reconstruction of my mouth. I have nothing but high praise for everyone. I really want to thank Mimi for taking great care of me from beginning to end. I will always recommend anyone to come to this office for any dentals needs of any kind. Negative experience: I'm writing this on behalf of my fiancée, who had a very disappointing experience at this office during her last visit. She went in for a service and was told by a staff member, who worked in the financing and insurance, that the majority of the cost would be covered by insurance. She then called the office to express her concerns, but instead of addressing them, they were dismissive and told her to wait for a response from insurance. Weeks passed, and rather than receiving a follow-up call, she received an email with a full bill and no breakdown of the charges. Just as she suspected, the claim was denied, and she is now responsible for the entire cost out of pocket. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time she’s had issues at this office, but it is by far the worst. After reading through other reviews, it’s clear that this kind of experience is not uncommon. Many patients feel that the office prioritizes money over patient care. She was understandably disappointed and wanted to speak to a manager. She called the office and left a voicemail for the manager, but no one ever got back to her. If you're comfortable doing all the insurance and billing research yourself, this office might work for you. But if you're looking for a practice that is honest, supportive, and transparent, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Simon has done a marvelous job with us for the past two years. I came in 2023 with terrible jaw locking, headaches, jaw tension, and pain. I was referred here by another patient who told me to check out Dr. Simon’s TMJ treatment. The team worked diligently with me to adjust my bite so that when I do have the grinding of my teeth, it does not cause irreparable damage to my jaw. After many appointments with Dr. Simon to work on this issue, I can confidently say that my headaches, jaw, locking head, pain, etc., are gone. this help prevent me from having serious jaw surgery, and help me take my health back into my hands. Whenever I feel that they’re coming back, I know that I can come to Dr. Simon to make adjustments to maintain the hard work we’ve done together. Negative experience: Pros: Tried to book an appointment - a receptionist (Lana) was very polite and was happy to assist. Cons: When I inquired if my Metlife PPO insurance is an in-network coverage, Lana very skillfully spinned my question and started saying the PPO insurance allows to go to any dentist to receive services. When I repeated my question to see if a provide is an in-network or not, she again try to mitigate by starting giving a long sentence "they are in-network and out of network providers for PPO, but insurance will cover basic services like cleaning and x-rays". She knew exactly what I was asking and she is probably trained to make customers come in by all means. This is not an honest practice. My take is that if a practice starts deliberately confusing customers at the point of entry, imagine what they will do once you are sitting with mouth open in the cabinet. PS. Looking through other reviews, looks like other people are saying similar thing. BEWARE. PPS. @ Dr Jerry Simon - there is nothing confusing about dental insurance - simple question "in-network" or "out-of-network". Nice try to downplay my comment and turn the table. Good luck with your practice, but my family of four will not play any part in your success.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist experience I’ve ever had!! As an extremely anxious dental patient (who needs nitrous for a cleaning!) they made me feel so calm and at ease. Paula walked me through everything and made me feel so welcome. Gaby was the best and most gentle hygienist. Dr. Neichen was great helping me with my gum issues, and Dr. Simon was amazing in explaining the work I needed done and how to best care for my teeth. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Came here 1 year ago with a dental emergency on a Saturday. I needed a surgery to clean out infection and they moved mountains to get it done that day. Fast forward A year later, and unfortunately had another major problem. This involved an emergency extraction of a tooth and a bridge. Dr. Roth worked with me to get my teeth looking even better than they did when I first came in.
