Fantastic experience: Just left my new patient exam with King Dental and truly don't have enough nice things to say about this practice. From the moment I first spoke with Barbara at the front desk, I knew I was in good hands. She was incredibly kind, thorough and very patient with all of my questions/concerns. My comprehensive exam with Katie went smoothly; she was warm and welcoming and I am looking forward to my cleaning with her later this week. As someone with severe dental anxiety, I very much appreciate the great lengths this practice seems to go to make their patients feel valued and understood. We have a treatment plan in place to slowly take care of some teeth issues that I have. Barbara, in great detail, explained the various treatments to me...helping me to understand what my insurance with cover and what my OOP estimated expense will be. Thank you, all!

Fantastic experience: I had a positive experience, the staff members were extremely polite. The technician explained the services she's about to provide me with beforehand, followed by Dr. King's professional reinforcement. They answered all my questions, and addressed my concerns. This was my first time visiting their office. Subsequently, because of the stellar services they afford me, I'll become a permanent client!

Fantastic experience: It was a great dental visit. The staff was welcoming and provided me with an explanation of all the they were doing when they were doing it.

Negative experience: Very friendly people but a few years ago they recommended that we drill into 6 areas of my teeth where cavities would eventually form. I've been on a fluoride treatment for years and my teeth are still perfectly healthy, I hate to think that we would have drilled way sooner than necessary, the current dentist says the teeth should stay in decent condition with proper care. I can't help but feel like Dr. King wanted to drill for money when I had no cavities, only spots that *could become* cavities. I gave it a few years before reviewing to see if this dentist was correct and yep, it is. This kind of situation makes me really uneasy when trusting a specific dentist. I'm sure the practice is good overall, the reviews are solid, but if you get any information like this please get a second and third opinion, whether it's king or elsewhere. I have to give 1 star because I would have had 6 hole drilled into my perfectly fine teeth if I had just accepted, that's a really scary thought.

Fantastic experience: Dr. King and his staff are attentive, through, thoughtful, conscientious and ver competent. I had a broken filling and even though he was busy, he added me to his schedule. He was very concerned about my comfort. This is especially amazing since this is only the second time I visited his office. The Dentist I had utilized for 20 years closed her practice and I didn’t believe I would EVER find a dentist to replace her. However I’m so pleased with Dr. King. I’m glad to find a new permanent dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve now had two emergencies handled by this practice- both were able to fit me in same day and both handled with care and gentleness. As someone who hates the dentist, I really really love this place. Dr. king is gentle and empathetic. Special shout out to Karen who took care of me and had such a great bedside manner. She really made me feel better even though I absolutely hate having my teeth drilled! 10/10 every glorious review you read is in fact true.

Fantastic experience: Called Monday to schedule a visit to look a chipped tooth that I had concerns about. Was able to get an appointment on Wednesday. I was in and out in about an hour. Dr. King assured me my tooth would be fine, he addressed the chip and that was it. No trying to upsell you on treatments or services like some dentists in the area are known for. If you want a dentist who is friendly and listens to your concerns get an appointment here. All of the staff I encountered were wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I visited King Dental of Huntsville for the first time this week. I have had many visits to dentists and have had appointments for everything from cleanings to implants. I cannot recall feeling comfortable at a dentist appointment. That changed with King Dental. The team made sure that I was comfortable and thoroughly explained everything they were doing. Dr. King was outstanding and made sure I did not have to be a dentist to understand the treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Shanna gave me the best cleaning I've likely ever had before. She was so helpful in telling me what I needed to work on and gave me great product recommendations for my dry mouth, toothbrushes and toothpaste. When I first sat down I explained my issues with inflammation and I know she was as gentle as she could be. Then came Dr. King. He was very friendly and quite nice. He looked my mouth over well, checking all that needed attention. I could tell he really valued my hygienist's expertise. I personally value a doctor who knows how important those that work with him really are to patients. Very friendly and easy check-in and check-out, too. Clean office and pleasant atmosphere, to boot. It was my first visit and I believe I'll be quite satisfied with this office.

Negative experience: Worst experience I've ever had. Went in for a buckle. He put a filling in on top of a filling. Then I had to come back to get the buckle done. He didn't use novocaine or anything. Just started drilling on my tooth. Told him that hurts. He sounded surprised and said you must be sensitive. I said yes to drills on my teeth! Finally gave me some novocaine but didn't wait for it to kick in. Just immediately went back to drilling like he had better things to do. Told him that hurt. He gave me another shot and then went straight back AGAIN! DID NOT WAIT FOR IT TO KICK IN! Then he rolled his eyes and got more. He shot me 3 times and then waited 10 minutes this time. He finally finished. Unfortunately after that visit I was completely done! Went in for a procedure and they did the wrong thing and then treat me like that? I'll never go back.

Positive experience: I absolutely recommend Dr. King I like him as a person and has a dentist. I just started going to him after spending a lot of time looking for a good dentist. Even though I do like Dr. King, I also believe the staff you have around you is important so I will say his teeth cleaning staff the girls that he has there are very good. I like them as well. in fact, every time I’ve went to get my teeth cleaning they always do an excellent job. The reason for the three star is when I went there the last time the girl who cleaned my teeth, did a good job, but then she tried to sell me an electric toothbrush telling me it was $10 cheaper than everyone else’s because they wanted people to buy from them. I paid $60 for the electric toothbrush at Dr. King‘s office and yes, it is so much cheaper than at some places, but at Walmart, I found the exact same toothbrush for $47, (I bought my son one.)So first she wasn’t completely honest and second the one that I bought from there doesn’t even really work that well. But lesson learned I just won’t buy product From his office. Upon leaving , I went to cash out and the girl who was supposed to take my money didn’t give me a receipt she didn’t tell me what I was being charged for I had a $90 bill with the toothbrush and everything. It shouldn’t have been that much, but the reason was never explained to me because she was on the phone the entire time she was cashing me out she seemed very overwhelmed and had a hard time multitasking.. So her customer service lacked next time I am going to ask her to talk to me and finish with me before answering the phone and talking to somebody else while she is supposed to be completing the transaction with me. Other than that, these are just little things. I give props to Dr. King and I see why he is so busy he’s very difficult to get An appointment because he’s so busy The wait time can be long, but it is well-deserved. I highly recommend Dr. King thanks for doing a great job. Also appreciate you taking my son on As well.

Fantastic experience: So far, sooo good! I had my first appointment yesterday and it was such a comfortable and relaxing...yes, at the dentist!...experience! First thing was a blanket...warmed...as soon as I sat in the chair! Everyone was so nice...I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment! Very knowledgeable and Dr. King is so nice, explained everything about future procedures.

Fantastic experience: I arrived for my appointment and checked in with Jada the receptionist. She smiled and quickly got processed. I was called back within 5 minutes. Shanna had a big smile and made me feel at ease as she started the procedure. The whole cleaning was pretty much painless. I really felt good when we were done. Fantastic experience: I trusted the father and son dentists at this location for many years, and wasn't sure if I would stay when Dr. King came. But I'm glad I did! From the friendly greeting from Ms. Barbara at the front desk, to Jaycee always doing a great job with my cleanings, to the modernization of equipment, technology, and decor Dr. King has instituted, I feel like a tradition of great care has not only been maintained, but honored. I actually look forward to my dental appointments because of the care and professionalism that I've experienced, and I regularly recommend the practice to friends. Update 11/5/21: still a patient, and still enjoying the excellent care at King Dental! 8/1/22: I always appreciate the care and treatment I receive at King Dental. I went for a cleaning last week, and Jaycee was running behind, due to a new patient earlier in the day needing some extra attention. I didn't mind, because I've been that person in need before - thankfully, I could wait, but I would have rescheduled if necessary. While waiting, I heard the receptionist make several calls to patients with later appointments; she was apologetic and respectful of their time while trying to accommodate their scheduling needs. When Jaycee was able to call me back, she was just as friendly, and gave my cleaning the same measure of expert attention, as usual, even though she'd had a difficult day. She also identified the source of a sensitivity issue I was having and got me set up for a quick follow-up to get it addressed. As I checked out, I was informed of the possible cost of the follow-up visit, and encouraged to contact my insurance ahead of time to discuss my options - valuable information (literally and figuratively!) for payment planning. King Dental has earned my trust and will continue to be my choice for dental services. 4/17/23 - Still enjoying the friendly and expert treatment I get at King Dental. Jaycee takes great care of, and with, my teeth. Since my last visit, I was able to refer a relative who had a bit of a dental emergency - she was equally impressed with the care and attention she received. I was so grateful that her new experience with this dental office was as positive as the many I've had over the years. June 2024 - last month, I had to reschedule my appointment with Jaycee. She was unavailable at the time I could come, so I was assigned to another hygienist, Shanna. She also did a great job with my cleaning, which takes a bit more care. She diagnosed some problems that had cropped up since my last visit, offered great advice on an over the counter treatment that would help, and scheduled me for a follow up to make sure I was on the road to healing. It's good to know that the excellent treatment I've enjoyed at King Dental isn't the exception, it's the rule!

With some new staff, I didn’t feel as valued and was not provided the services for which I made the appointment. I have been a patient here for over 3 years and the attention to detail and listening to your exact needs are unmatched. I have had crowns, root canals, bridges and fillings. Crowns put in the same day might I add. Dr. King is truly the “King” of dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient since day one, Really look forward to going. Always been professional and courteous. Have always been easy to work with on scheduling. I like to book my appointments a year out and they have been very accommodating and letting me do that. Got a great hygienist, she keeps me on my toes about brushing and flossing my teeth. I would mention her by name but I don’t want her to get too busy . That way I can keep her. Dr. King is great with people not standoffish, very easy to talk to and he listens.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING DENTIST! I was in sooo much pain going into my appointment and Dr.king made sure that I was in no pain when leaving . The office is very well kept and everyone is so polite and kind as soon as you walk in . They give you blankets to keep warm as well water , chapstick , you name it . Came in for a root canal and left very pleased . I want to thank Dr.King for everything he did for me today , I truly truly appreciate it . If you are moving into the area or have been in the area looking for a dentist this is the best place to come to .

Positive experience: I have been going to this dental clinic for approximately 14 years. I have had no compliants. Dr King took over the prectice a couple years ago. He has continued with the same great service. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason I didn't give them 5 is because they would have to do something really amazing to get 5 stars. Something that amazing doesn't come along everyday.
