Dr. Bauman was really nice and spent a lot of time with me, which I don’t get at my current practice. The whole office seems great! I will definitely be back for my future cleanings. Thanks to childhood trauma and horrible experienceas an adult, when I started coming here,15yrs ago, I was so terrified of the dentist that I had to be knocked out even for a cleaning. I couldn't even talk about the dentist without having a panic attack. Thanks to Dr. Cretzmeyer and the wonderful staff I no longer dred going, I can talk about the dentist without a panic attack, and at most I'll get some nitrice if I have to have novicaine. It is so refreshing to go to a dental office and not feel judged or shamed. This is the best dental office out there. My whole family still comes here even though we moved 30mins away because of how awesome the staff is.

Fantastic experience: All the dental hygienists I've had at Dentistry For the Entire Family have been courteous, friendly, and proficient. They make pleasant conversation while doing a quick job of cleaning my teeth. They use a combination of traditional instruments and sometimes ultrasonic instruments. X-rays and are taken with a digital camera and records are stored in an electronic health record program. They seem to take notes of all sorts of things including personal items that might be interesting as conversation pieces during your next visit. The examinations from the doctors are usually brief but friendly. I've been using this dentist for nearly 20 years and would gladly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I'm grateful to have found a dentist office that sincerely wants to help me and not just make money. I have not had this type of good feeling at a dentist office in over 10 years. NEVER has a dentist office rep called me to say "I've reviewed your ins coverage and you have funds to use for services you need. Would you like to schedule?" The employees are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable... from the receptionist to the Dr. I would and do recommend everyone to know to this office. Oh! I can also get in the door at 730am which helps not interrupt the day!! Five stars all around!!!

Negative experience: I was going to wait to post because I didn't know when the feeling in my tongue was going to to come back, but I don't know when that will be. It has been 3 weeks and still half of my tongue is numb from my procedure. When I called, the only person that spoke to me was the receptionist and who asked the dental hygienist, that numbed me it can take a long time to come back. Never in my 44 years has this ever happened or have I ever been to a dental office that the hygienist is the the administering the novicaine shots. I cannot taste on that side, or distinguish between hot/cold. I may be biting my tongue and wouldn't know. I am very concerned. Also, I have never been to an office where they let their dental assistance use the grinding instruments on the patients. It seems very unsafe. My mouth and teeth still hurt after my visit 3 weeks ago. Will not be returning as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I've been to DFTEF for everything from cleanings, to fillings, to dealing with root canal issues. I believe I've been going for at least 3 years now and that was after looking around and getting disappointed at other dentists and their insane pricing. From the moment I've visited, I've had nothing but good experiences with every staff I've interacted with, be it Leah, Rebecca, and other wonderful ladies up front, Donna and Theresa crunching numbers whether I had insurance or not, Sue and Jenny my hygienists, Dr. Jagger, Dr. Bauman, & Dr. Vetrano and every one of the dental assistants that I've had and can't name because of poor memory. On top of the great service I've been given, DFTEF stands behind their work. If I've ever had a question or concern I've been given the time to come in and be seen to make sure everything is right and if it couldn't be solved (I had a rare occurrence happen) I was credited my money and referred to an endo. That is something that I know other places would not do for you. They are doing everything right at this office. I have verbally recommended this place and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist and fantastic staff. They have taken great care with my teeth for many years.

Negative experience: They usually do okay dentistry, but they waited until the day before my appt to tell me my insurance was out of network instead of the TWO MONTHS since it changed. Also had a filling done here that hurt quite a lot until the tooth next to it broke. The staff insisted the pain was normal despite how difficult it was for them to get floss in that gap. They knew they botched the filling but were unwilling to acknowledge or fix it.

Fantastic experience: “From a mid-morning phone call I was able to schedule a same day appointment after an overnight issue. Dr. Cretzmeyer was available at noon to evaluate the issue and conclude after x-rays there was no permanent damage. Dr. Cretzmeyer has been my dentist for nearly 50 years. He’s made sure my teeth and mouth are healthy.”

Fantastic experience: No pain whatsoever! Everyone there was nice and considerate. I'm 71 with some hearing loss and everyone made sure to speak clearly. My procedure was on time. No waiting. I highly recommend Dentistry for the Entire Family. After a miserable weekend of tooth pain, I called Monday morning at 7:40. Even though I was a new patient, I was able to get an appointment at 9:40! Everyone was professional and very nice, beginning with my initial phone call. Nice, clean, large office, convenient parking. A+ dentistry!!

She always walks out to me in the lobby to escort me back to her station. Fantastic experience: After the pandemic and insurance hassle, we had to find a place to take our 5 year old for his first dental visit. Most places are booked out solid for months and turned us away without question. This establishment (though booked out just as much as everywhere else) made it a point to get our son in because they know the importance of it and I really appreciate the lengths they went through to make it happen! Every one is super friendly, the paperwork was easy to fill out online and everything is very clean and inviting when you walk through and are in the rooms. The team was very clean & sanitary while handling everything which I gratefully appreciated. As someone who also works with kids, I felt relaxed and impressed with how the technicians and dentist spoke to our son with care and connection. They made him feel safe and helped him gain confidence throughout the appointment. Our son said “I had a really great day at the dentist!” And I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Thank you!

They put me at ease when getting my first cavity filled. Their staff is wonderful with kids. My daughter LOVES going to the dentist because of them. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dentistry For The Entire Family for 2 years. I switched after my previous dentist would scold me and lecture me about my teeth. I hated going to the dentist and this made it worst. At my first appointment with DFTEF, I met Emily, a dental hygienist. I told her about my bad experience with my previous dentist. Emily made me feel welcomed and not ashamed of my teeth. My teeth needed a lot of work done. I met Dr. Jagger and she was great! No lectures or scolding. Emily and Dr. Jagger made me feel comfortable and no longer ashamed of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience at your office. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. I had an exam and cleaning done. Some of my teeth are extremely sensitive. Jenny, the hygienist was VERY good. She was thorough, fast and I experienced no discomfort. I was very impressed and feel that I have found a good place for our dental care.

Fantastic experience: I walked in one day in a lot of pain. And a couple hours later I walked out pain free. The next day after the novocaine wore off I was expecting to be in some pain, but there was no pain. I was very scared going to the dentist, but they made me feel relaxed. I have never been to this dental office, as for a matter of fact no dentists office in many years. Dentistry for the Entire Family. Then I went back to have my teeth cleaned. Again I thought it would hurt really bad but it felt so good to have my teeth cleaned. And no pain. My teeth were really dingy looking, now they look bright again. I would like to thank everyone for the good care I received and taking me in without a true appointment. On August 24th I had to have some teeth extracted. Dr. Jagger did a wonderful job . I felt no pain. But I had to go back that day (to no fault of Dr. Jaggers) she had to cauterize where my tooth was extracted. She did make it stop. I was so happy not having to go to the ER. (It happened because I am on blood thinner) So it is good to know that Dr. Jagger knows how to fix it. Then on August 28 she performed a root canal on me. excellent job from her and her team members. Didn’t feel a thing and they have so much patience it is unbelievable. Thank you for your patience and excellent Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: This was my 1st visit. I have had tooth pain for some time and finally decided to address the situation. Dr. Bauman diagnosed my problem and made a quick referral to get me an appointment for the Root canal I needed to alleviate the pain. The office was friendly and everyone was helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for sometime now. They are the best. Always have time to slip you in if you are having mouth pain. You may not be in our network for instance but I can't leave a place when they know you and your teeth and plan. So I love this dental office fun and very friendly. See you in November.

The front desk staff does an excellent job at communicating insurance coverage and out of pocket costs so there is no surprises. I feel very well taken care of and am so glad I found them. Negative experience: Had been a patient since the mid 80’s when still in north Minneapolis. I was since dropped as a patient due to my insurance coverage and time spent between visits. Now my kids are all being dropped solely due to our insurance. Really a bummer that because of what insurance we have we won’t be able to come back. Feels pretty excluding

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office e ever. Everyone e is friendly and down to earth. There is no scolding or making you feel you weren't doing a good jog, even if you weren't. They explain everything to you and answer all your questions. First time I. 70 years I haven't mined going to the dentist. Try them for yourself and you will see.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant, "Cholette" was outstanding! She is a new part time member to your team but a real asset. In my opinion as a long-term customer after she completes her remaining schooling you should strongly consider bringing her on board full time. She currently has the skills; a good communicator, great attitude, confident, willing to succeed.

Positive experience: The hygienist I have seen for years and was booked with wasn’t there and I didn’t receive a call to let me know which they have always done in the past. The hygienist I had was a temp and she was fine but I would have appreciated a courtesy call. They asked me to come back in 4 months but don’t have openings for 7 months. Now that is unacceptable to me. If I don’t like the dentists as much as I do I would be out of there. If you can’t take care of the patients you have had for 15+ years then maybe you should quit taking new patients. I will give them another chance but this was my most disappointing visit ever.

Fantastic experience: I have not gone to the dentist for over 20 years. I need deep cleaning. It required 2 appointments. My first appointment went very well. Britney tended to my needs. Made me as comfortable as possible. My 2nd visit was a bit uncomfortable. But Britney was very thorough with her cleaning. She triple checks her work. The result is very impressive.

Positive experience: Staff just great! Doc was very good. I had an extraction and after the numbness wore off it was understandably painful. The 8 Vicodin just don’t cut it. It didn’t have to be such a painful recovery. A couple extra of something stronger would have made things easier.

Fantastic experience: I had broken my whole front tooth off. I can't believe they fixed me up with a temp crown in just a couple hours. I will make one more visit for the final crown fitting and will be done. Amazing thank you Dr. Lange your the best. Ps my wife will only request him.

Rachel, the dental asst, always alerted me to “the next steps!” Her attention to me and my comfort was admirable as were her well-trained skills. Negative experience: Still having significant trouble a year later with two crowns done here. Really disappointing. They seem so nice in the beginning - until they aren't... I have UCare health insurance plus Medicare (MediCARE, not Medicaid) plus additional dental coverage through Delta Dental. I pay monthly for all three of these, but evidently DFTEF feels they don't get enough money off me to bother. As soon as they drain whatever coverage you have, they stop being cheery and give you the bum's rush - and they do not fix the poor work they have already done. You are on your own! The woman in the scheduling/billing office, however, is lovely and very helpful. She is the only reason I continued there for as long as I did. Unfortunately, she is not a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Wonderfully friendly! I needed more than the basic cleaning. Jackie explained what I needed and why. She didn’t talk down to me or scold me. I was very comfortable with the active care she and Family Dentistry is giving me so that I don’t get more gum disease or have bone loss!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time coming here and they treated me so well even though I haven’t been to the dentist in 3 years. They explained everything to me and did not pressure me into things I can’t afford doing at the moment. I will continue going here and my kids will join in November. All the staff are great from the assistants, to the Dentist to the front desk. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommended Dentistry for the Entire Family in Fridley. In my time there I have yet to experience a bad dental hygienist. They are very considerate and efficient in their work. The dentist I've seen is very knowledgeable and very gentle in her examinations.

Fantastic experience: All of you at Dentistry for the entire Family are the most genuine, honest and caring dentists Ive ever had the pleasure of having care for my husband and I! Kat and Dr Lang have took the time to make sure my dentures are perfect! My husband has started going there as well and he just can’t believe how passionate all the staff, assistants and doctors actually care about us! He had not been to the dentist in several years was embarrassed and anxious about going, he was so surprised at how they didn’t even bat an eye at how his mouth looked! None the less this Family is so happy with our results and will continue to come there for years to come!! Thank guys! We love u all!

Fantastic experience: I've had a bunch of trauma around going to the dentist in the past. I just happened to find Dentistry for the Whole Family and decided to try them out. They were the most kind, compassionate and caring people I have come across. They were able to calm my fears and gave me quality care. They helped me identify my game plan and did it with lots of caring and also strategy. From the moment I went in and was greeted by the receptionist, and then checked out at the end with the finance person, I was always treated well. All of the people there are a class act. I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: I go to this dentistry. I recommend it to friends and family. I also just brought my 4 year old in for his first appointment. I was little nervous to see how he was going to do. It went great. Staff are great and friendly. The best.

Fantastic experience: I interacted with five different people during my appointment (admin, hygienists, doctor) and every one of them was great. I had mentioned dental anxiety when I made the appointment, and it was obvious that they were accommodating, personable, and reassuring. They did a really nice job with my cleaning, and also helped me make a treatment plan for a few small follow up issues. I’m looking forward to using this office as my regular dentist from now on, and am actually really grateful that I found them.
