Fantastic experience: Most excellent dentist and staff you'll ever know. I'm so happy Tom Borga and The Miosi family recommended you to me. I felt so cared for and I'm getting my permanent crown put on in two weeks. I was so nervous about having it done but Dr. Waddell was so kind, calm and reassuring that I felt peaceful. The photo below is me and my temporary crown. I'm happy! I'm praising Jesus for Dr. Waddell, his Dental Assistant and the staff! Just had my teeth cleaned and xrays on Wednesday. So here's my new review: Dr. Waddell is the most gentle dentist I've ever been to and that's saying alot. My mom took me to the dentist when I was seven years old and Dr. Isermann gave me a dime to get an ICEE after the appointment. I'm sixty six years old now and finally found not only a great dentist who put a much needed crown on my tooth which has been perfect but his entire staff are so kind and helpful. You'll have to come meet him for yourself.

Negative experience: They put this crapy sign in screens that are a complete crap The idea is good but the system is crap They are mounted on this stands that look good as display but are completely useless and hard to use when you have to sign in

Negative experience: My husband and I went here and received our Dental Care. However, it was clear that it was a money thing. My husband who had never had any dental issues was suddenly told he needed a cabinet field in a root canal. When I got my root canal done I noticed there was drilling on the upper side of my tooth where the root canal was supposed to be done on the lower side. However, after getting several checkups and a teeth cleaning, I noticed there was decay on the back tooth at the upper top right above the tooth that he originally did the root canal on. I was really upset because I was not told that this tooth was decane and prior to seeing them. This tooth was healthy. I believe they may call some issues so that we do have to come back and see them. I would not recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if i could. Yesterday was my very first appointment at this office and my hygienist was Ashley. I was a little nervous, but she already had the knowledge that this was my very first visit and put me at ease. Ashley explained to me everything that she was doing and was very personable. My previous dentist didn’t have the technology this dentist office has. The dentist showed me photos of my teeth and showed me where cavities needed filled and where i needed a crown. My previous dentist did nothing like this, so I was very pleased to be able to see what needed to be done in my mouth via a COLORED photo, not black and white. I made sure to book my next cleaning with Ashley because i loved her so much based off the short visit i had with her. I’ll never go to another dentist again. This is my forever dental home!!!!!

Negative experience: This dentist was good, but they keep canceling appointments and saying they’re short on dental hygienist! It’s an inconvenience for me and my kids so we’ll be going Elsewhere! No type of consideration for paying customers!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Warren and his team are the best. Had a cracked tooth that led to extraction. While no one ever wants an extraction, they made the process as painless as possible. Fantastic experience: My initial visit to Acworth Family Dental was a truly positive experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist, and I was pleasantly surprised to wait less than ten minutes before being seen. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and inviting. The dental assistant was particularly kind, and the dentist was equally accommodating. I feel confident that my search for a dental has come to an end.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love it here! You can't be at the helpful and friendly atmosphere and they don't try and sell you on things that you don't need. I have a fear of dentists and tried to find one closer to where I moved but I came back and will now make the long drive because I am that comfortable here!

Fantastic experience: So far, so good. Had one of my cracked molars (beyond saving) extracted and getting a new bridge tooth in. Temporary bridge popped out after a day, due to swelling of my gum under it apparently, but seems like they got it back in there now pretty firmly. It will take about 3 months for my gum to heal from the extracted tooth cavity, and then I'll get my permanent bridge.

Negative experience: Booked an emergency appt online a MONTH in advance only to show up and it had been canceled. Update: Called and left a voice mail with the number provided within an hour of the response. We’ll see if I get a call back, but looking at the other reviews I’m not holding my breath

Negative experience: Billing issues! Megan in billing is the WORST! My husband had a procedure in Dec 2023. Feb 2024 we received a bill. Contact was made with the Dental office several times without any response. Insurance company stated the dental office submitted the claim incorrectly. The insurance company called several times & left several voicemails on how to correct the error. 2 times I walked into the dental office to speak to Megan, she wasn’t there. Megan was there on my 3rd visit to the office. Megan claimed the insurance company had not contacted them which I knew was false due to me being on the line. I asked Megan to check the voicemail. The voicemail was there. Megan stated she would reply right away to the fax number provided. No reply was ever sent. After a full yr of going back & forth, I was able to reach corporate. Corp also had an issue with getting this resolved with Megan. They assigned another rep, who was awesome, to assist. I paid that difference which I didn’t agree with but want this nightmare over. Fast forward to today, 4/11/25, I’m receiving another bill for a different amt. WTH! This is very sad because I loved this office. Dr Isbelle was great! Now I have to go a step further to get this matter resolved. No telling how many people are overpaying this practice. Maybe an audit should be conducted.

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Georgia, I have been to several dental offices and have not been happy with any of them. Today, I came here for the first time. The entire staff and dentist were awesome! I received excellent care from a very friendly and caring staff. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the place to go!

Positive experience: This office seems to have all new faces now… everyone is extremely kind and attentive. Dr. Warren is great!! My daughter and I have been coming here for over 5 years now… and I noticed the downhill spiral the last couple of years. Also experiencing cancelled scheduled appointments and lack of courtesy. Our recent visits in the last 6 months were a great experience!! Their new Front desk staff is amazingly kind and efficient. Thank God they listened and replaced all the rotten apples. Just hoping they will sustain at this level of customer servicing.

Negative experience: I’ve had multiple appointments canceled, both for myself and for my son, which was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. When we finally got in for our visits, the treatment recommendation made by Acworth Center for Family Dentistry turned out to be inaccurate. My son, who was told he needed dental work, was advised to undergo procedures that his new dentist at college later confirmed were not necessary at all. I would not recommend this practice based on our experience.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for a few years now. They use to be so amazing, timely, friendly and accommodating. Over the last 2 years they have gone down hill. They are constantly canceling my appointments either a day before or even hours before I’m supposed to be there. They are not accommodating and the front desk and scheduling department is not sympathetic at all when they cancel your appointment an hour before you’re scheduled. I’ve had enough trying to get in and waiting forever for someone to call back to even attempt to get scheduled, just for them to cancel you anyways. I will not be returning and will be finding a new dentist to go to.

Negative experience: SCAMMERS - BEWARE! I had a root canal that was causing problems so I made an appointment for a complimentary second opinion as advertised on their website. I made it very clear that it was for a complimentary second opinion when I made the appointment in addition to following up to confirm, telling the receptionist, the assistant and the dentist. When I arrived I was asked for my insurance card. I said you don't need it for a complimentary visit (again, as advertised). They said they needed my drivers liscence (which was never returned and I had to drive 45 minutes to retrieve it the next day). From there they somehow submitted the charges to my insurance company, Met Life. How they did this I don't even know. Then the bills started coming...constant texts of the money I owe them. I called the office every few days and left a message for billing (at least 14 messages were left for Megan Dabney who is supposedly the office manager and handles billing. I finally tracked her down via the answering service (which I got ALOT) and Megan said she would adjust the charges in an annoyed manner. After 3 more months of calls, emails, pleading to speak to the manager before my credit got hit I still received ZERO response...WHAT?? I finally caved and wnet to pay the bill via the text link provided for the unauthorized charge to never have to deal with this joke of an office again. But the software glitched and would not come off the spinning processing wheel...interesting?? I finally gave my credit card number to the answering service to pay the bill and begged her to end the nightmare we'll now call Megan at Acworth Dental. I'll need to keep an eye on that card in fear they'll charge whatever they want. There was one angel amongst the crowd, Katie...she helped me get my drivers lisence back...KATIE RUN LIKE THE WIND, you're way too good for this unethical practice.

Negative experience: Avoid this dentistry at any cost. They don’t have any Sympathy or apologies towards patients. We had a family appointment for 3 in our family. I went today morning and dis my check up. When I took my daughter in the afternoon they are saying they don’t have it in the system and maybe I booked at a different dentistry. I booked all my three appointment in a single call. More ridiculous was my wife appointment which was scheduled for 12/24 and they claim the office is closed for 12/24 and they would have not taken the appointment and I am at the wrong location. Last week I called and I was confirmed all of our appointments are confirmed. Please see the confirmation from the dentistry for 12/24 which they claim they have not taken. At least have some courtesy to say we have decided to take holiday but we will try to find some other day as soon as possible. I waited for two months and now they want mw to wait for 3 more months

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety of going to the dentist because of sensitivity and not wanting that “Operation” moment that makes you want to jump out of the chair. Kerry (my hygienist) keeps me calm and is very attentive and careful. I thank Dr Waddell and staff for great service and care.

Fantastic experience: Just completed another visit to this dental office. The staff was very professional and the environment was really relaxing. Another great experience! First visit after transferring from another dentist. The staff was professional and very friendly - we immediately felt comfortable. Facility is also clean and inviting. The dentist and assistant were knowledgeable and patient, taking time to answer all questions - great first impression! We already have follow-up appointments.

Negative experience: Staff and Doctor are friendly. Please read as many of the reviews as you can and decide if you can put up with it. I made an in person appt for cleaning, got XRay, and consultation. - no cleaning. They will change the times of your appts even after you confirm your original schedule several times. Very difficult to get in touch with this office. The cut and paste responses to reviews tell you how disconnected they are. If your schedule can be moved on a day notice, this is your place. If you have to schedule time off at work... forget it. Move on. I'm taking my X Rays, the only thing I could get done, and finding another office.

Negative experience: This review is specifically for their accounting department! On my last visit I mentioned several times that I only want to have procedures done that are covered by my insurance, nothing else. To my surprise I started receiving text messages from their office that I have an open balance! Since Oct 15th I have left THREE messages asking for a call back - nothing! The last time I called (Nov 12th), I spoke to a lady at the front desk, she took a message for their accounting team & made the comment "oh they are probably still getting to your message". Apparently over a month later they still haven't caught up? This is ridiculous!

Negative experience: I have been a patient here for about two years. Earlier this year, I was charged for a procedure that should have been covered by insurance. It turns out they ran the incorrect insurance. I provided the correct insurance, and they re-submitted the claim. It went through and I was told that I would be issued a refund. I have been calling since May for the refund. It is now October. They claimed they called to get my CV number to return the amount back to my card. I never got that call. I asked them to issue the refund as a check. They said that they would. That was over a month ago. I have called multiple times, left numerous messages, emailed their billing department and I have yet to get a resolution. I called the number that they provide for all negative reviews, 833-429-0597, left a VM and no one calls back. My calls have been avoided and no one bothers to call me back over money that I am actually owed. I do NOT recommend this practice, and I plan on moving my family and I to another practice at the end of the year.
Negative experience: The older woman at your front desk was horrible. She was unprofessional on the phone, and when I met her face to face, my experience was WORSE. When I told her I did not appreciate how she spoke to me on the phone she began to ARGUE with me. (No apology was coming from her mouth.) My advice would be to get her out of that spot ASAP. Your first point of contact for your business should be fantastic. You will definitely lose customers with Negative Nancy sitting there! * I really liked Dr. Warren & his assistants. I actually feel sorry that they have to put up with someone like that on a regular basis.
Fantastic experience: Great experience great staff, very professional & knowledgeable. This is the first place that I've been to where you don't feel rushed and the Dentist truly know how to take care of you. I would recommend anyone here for service. Fantastic experience: This will be my new dentist going forward.This team is diverse and inclusive.They treat their patients kind and with respect. The dentist and assistant I visited were both personable and caring. They were gentle and continously checking on me during my extraction. They are knowledgeable and very easy to work with from the reception to the checkout. I am grateful to have found this office and look forward to future visits! Thank you for all you do!

Fantastic experience: 1Entire staff is very efficient & friendly. They always go 'above & beyond'. They are really patient with me and answer ALL my questions There's no pain here. I even fell asleep during my root canal! I've had many crowns from many dentists and they do the absolute best work (and their lab) of all.

Fantastic experience: So far so great. I went in for my first visit today, myself and my husband. It was a great visit. The staff is SO friendly and welcoming. The office was organized and the Hygenists,Tech and Dentist were so professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and safe. It was also very CLEAN. I loved that. While I don’t look forward to getting upcoming work done on my teeth, atleast I feel safe and confident that this office will take care of me.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time here today and I can say this is my favorite dentist. From the minute I walked in, I had a positive experience. The front desk lady was great, the dental assistant, hygenist, dentist. They were all so kind. Im so glad i chose this dentist office!

Fantastic experience: Very thoughtful, friendly, and efficient. First visit and we were able to put together an affordable dental plan for my husband. This is the most re-assured and hopeful he’s felt at any dentist about getting his teeth finally fixed. They’ve made a normally anxiety inducing experience to be rather pleasant.

Fantastic experience: This is such a great practice. All of the employees are so polite and I’ve never had to wait long. The rooms are nice with TVs. My hygienist took the time to explain things to me and wasn’t trying to sell me anything like my precious practice. I definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Moved to Acworth an out 3 years ago and finally found my go to dentist. I hate the dentist, literally on the level of a child. But I was well taken care of, we talked about additional things I could add to my daily cleansing routine along with me getting a bi-annual exam and cleaning. Carrie was great and so was Dr. Wadell! Such a great experience!

Negative experience: TLDR; they were making up issues with my teeth to make more money and they’re nearly impossible to get ahold of if you have questions. We recently moved and needed a new dentist so I gave this one a try. It had been about a year since my last dental check-up. Most dental offices have to do x-rays and pictures of new patients teeth which is fine. When I made the appt. I asked if I would be able to have my teeth cleaned at my appt. too and they said yes. When they checked my gums the hygienist said I was showing signs of gum disease and they would have to schedule me for a deep cleaning another day and sent me home. Pretty annoying, but I would deal with it. I was then told my insurance doesn’t cover deep cleaning so it’d be over $100 out of pocket. They also wanted me to come back every 3-4 months to check on my gums. At this point I decided I didn’t want to continue going to this office. I’ve never had issues with my teeth or gums before. It felt like they were just trying to milk more money out of me. I decided to switch to a different dentist so I tried calling later that day to get my records/X-rays sent to the new office. I tried calling every five min. for four hours and no one ever answered the phone. When I would click “new patient” on the automated phone system I would immediately get ahold of someone. She said she wasn’t able to help me but she checked at the front desk and told me they had quite a few patients checking in so they might be busy for awhile. When I finally got ahold of someone THE NEXT DAY I was told the new patient calls get sent to a call center. So when the girl said she was checking the front desk she just was lying to me to placate me. I went to a new dentist (LifeSmiles of New Hope) the next day and was complimented on how healthy my teeth and gums were. No deep cleaning necessary! They also have a fantastic front desk worker who picks the phone up quickly with no automated menu!

Fantastic experience: Jasmine was my husband's Dental Hygienist and she was very gentle and caring. My husband has a physical disability and medical issues and she took her time with him and made sure to explain all that she was doing and that he was ok during his cleaning. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I needed 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted because they were partially erupted and causing soft tissue infections, but I was too nervous to go under. When Dr Waddell started with the shots, I was amazed because I didn’t feel a thing. I’m good with needles anyway, but I genuinely felt no pain. I waited a few minutes for the numbing to kick in and then he started pulling the first tooth. He tugged twice and then took his hand out. I thought he was going to readjust himself but my tooth was ALREADY OUT!!! He did this 2 more times with my other teeth and I was essentially done in less than 5 minutes. I was so impressed with the whole process. I couldn’t stop thanking him. I was in shock. I was so nervous, but the whole procedure ended up being seamless. He explained to me that as an active doctor in the military as well as a practicing general dentist, he pulls teeth all the time. And all I can say is, I can tell. He was super gentle, kind, and has great bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone. Also, shout out to all the front desk staff and assistants for their continued kindness every time I go. Fantastic experience: I have a severe phobia of dental procedures, the staff is incredibly patient and do everything in their power to help. I’d love to say they’ve cured my fears, even though that isn’t the case, everyone treats me so kind that I’ve returned for multiple appointments.

Fantastic experience: It’s so hard to find a good, trustworthy dentist these days and Acworth Center for Family Dentistry did not disappoint! The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and beyond friendly! Dr Waddell was fantastic! I felt like I could trust him within 10 minutes of talking with him! 11/10 I recommend this practice!

Negative experience: I used to love this dental office. But now I cannot say the same, I am having issues with a tooth and have called the office over 10 times in the past 24 hours to get in contact with someone to make an appointment. I am extremely frustrated to say the least. I will take my business elsewhere where they actually care to tend to their patients.

Negative experience: I would not advise anyone to get dentures at this location. I had to go back three separate times because the fitting was not right. Each time I had to wait 3 weeks in between while I have no teeth. The dentist made me feel like I was just being unreasonable every time I made any kind of complained about the fitting. And then finally when I got the finished product I couldn't even chew food with it because the teeth were so big. They had to shave the teeth down which made them look horrible in the back. But at this point I was not even trying to deal with them anymore do I just signed their paperwork and took them the way they were. After having them a couple months I told them that I kept biting my lip and my tongue and they said that was normal that it would take me some time to get used to them and that would stop. Well here it is 3 years later and I have scars all on my bottom lip from biting it over and over again. So now I'm going to have to put more money into seeing a different dentist so I can get proper dentures made. I honestly would rather have no teeth at all then to have to go back to this practice to have anything done.
