Negative experience: Beware if you use Wyoming Frowns Center. I reluctantly use sarcasm for my review, but have little recourse otherwise to express my frustration. Dr. Heller is skilled and professional, but the Dental practice has changed to a corporate entity that is broken. Prepare to get bills 1 year later, and for overpayments once insurance pays not to be processed/reimbursed for likely a similar time frame (3 months and counting now).

Fantastic experience: The building and landscape is very pretty. All of the staff were very helpful. Allison in particular made my experience a11/10! Her engery, her personality and the care she provided while being informative was top tier. She is the reason I will be coming back.

Negative experience: I used to really love the care from Wyoming Smile Center but over the past year or so the care seems very money driven. They charged for fluoride treatments and I found out later that they were completely covered under my dental plan so I had been paying for those treatments for a couple years but didn’t realize they were covered until I switched dentists. I had a need for a night guard but wanted to call my insurance for a pre approval before I put money into it and scheduled the appointment, when I expressed I wanted to wait the person at the front desk kept repeating things like “well most people owe about $500 out of pocket so if you just pay now before the scans you can split the difference later.” Got super pushy despite me saying “no I want to check with insurance company”, called my insurance the same day and they covered all but $70 and then I realized I wanted to find a new dentist. I go to somewhere in Blue Ash now, they always run my insurance and have Delta Dental send me a pre approval letter within days before having work done. I have family members who also go there that have expressed the same concerns and have paid out of pocket for things that they find out later was covered by insurance and when they asked for a refund, the smile center refused to provide one even though their insurance was billed on top of also paying for things out of pocket unnecessarily. The care is just fine there but know your coverage and always work with the insurance company directly on pre approvals and bring the letters from the insurance company when paying.

Fantastic experience: I was having lots of pain in my tooth. I had an appointment with Jodie in the office. After they figured out what was wrong Jodie helped me figure out who I needed to see and helped me make an appointment helping me get in sooner. Thanks to her I was able to get in the very next day and had my tooth pulled and was out of pain!!

Fantastic experience: ❤️. to Dr. Tyesha Martin who replaced Dr. Barnes. I came back two Cincinnati 6yrs and found Wyoming Smile Center. They have been giving me top quality care. They are thorough, have done some restorative work for me etc. Appreciate they check insurance first for coverage, so there are no surprises. Very satisfied with practice. I did work in a dental research area at P&G before retirement so I bring some knowledge of dentistry. These folks are in it. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had repair work done on my front teeth, a cap replaced on one and a nasty chip on the other (right in the bottom middle of the tooth!). Both repairs were done and it is perfection! The cap was over 30 years old-discolored and a different size from its neighbor tooth. It was sized and color matched. I'm so happy! Rachael B. did a great job.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! The staff is very friendly and you can tell they take pride in their work! Jodie is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She doesa great job of keeping me comfortable while having some of those necessary procedures done. I had to change due to insurance, this turned out to be such a blessing for me. I'm getting better care at Wyoming Smiles with Jodie and Dr Yochum!

Do NOT get dental here without getting an itemized statement of how much it will cost and what is actually needed BEFORE completed! I miss Dr. Barnes! She was great and you received clear treatment plans with cost of each thing before treatment day! Also strongly solicit reviews!

Negative experience: Most unprofessional dental practice I’ve ever dealt with. Not only will they charge YOU a late fee if you cancel, they’ll cancel on you and try to schedule you 1, 2, 3 months ahead of time. The employees are super passive aggressive, just a whole list of terrible things this dental practice will do. AVOID THEM!!

Negative experience: Just really unhappy and tired hearing we want to make sure they make them right. I did not appreciate not being told the truth.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental office I have ever dealt with. Despite having insurance, I was hit with a surprise $459 bill after services were rendered — with absolutely no prior communication. I was never informed that I might owe out of pocket, and when I raised the issue, I was met with complete indifference and a lack of compassion. The receptionist literally responded with “oh my gosh” and offered no helpful explanation. Wyoming Smiles has been dishonest and evasive throughout this process. They’ve added balances without explanation, failed to notify me in advance, and have taken zero accountability. If you value transparency, respectful communication, and financial clarity — do not go to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Came here as a new patient . This may be some of the friendliest and most professional places I have been . Great energy and reassured me about my smile and the care needed . Can’t wait to return .

Fantastic experience: Never a bad comment when it comes to the Wyoming Smile staff. Starting from the ladies at the front desk, and continuing to the back office staff, including billing! All of the Wyoming Smile staff are so wonderful and caring. Jodie took care of my 7yr old granddaughter today and a couple of weeks ago for fillings, and my granddaughter was the perfect patient. No crying or moving around. Jodie's chairside manners are awesome and informative. And of course, Dr. Sarah is awesome as always! Thank you for such wonderful and caring service, Wyoming Smile. Don't change a thing! They're just like the tv show, Cheers. You go, where everybody knows your name!

Fantastic experience: Been coming for a few years now. Only good experiences so far. ------------ First time at Wyoming Smile. Came in for a cleaning for the first time in maybe 6-7 years. Scheduling was easy and handled over phone and text. Staff was quick to respond to schedule changes and overall super pleasant. Rhonda and Dr. Heller did a great job. Very friendly and gave no shaming for the long gap since my last dentist visit. I was in and out in under an hour. Will definitely be coming back on a regular schedule from now on

Fantastic experience: After being a patient for 25 years I had a span of about 3 years when I did not go to the dentist. I am having a shoulder replaced and needed a screening. They got me in right away and completed root planing in back to back appointments! They were great!

Negative experience: I saw Sara Yochum and her assistant Jodie at Wyoming Smile Center in November 2022. They screwed up my crown, dental filling, and bite adjustment. She only did the drilling part and her assistant Jodie took care of everything else, even placing of the crown. The dentist doesn’t supervise her assistant enough, so your fate is dependent upon her assistant whose competency is questionable. After they screwed up, they refused to fix it or give me any advice on how to get back to my normal condition. They even blamed it on my teeth saying they were already collapsed before they touched them. So, they didn’t take any responsibility whatsoever. I’m still having problems with my bite because of them. I would avoid them and Wyoming smile center at all cost because they all ganged up on me when I complained about my teeth. Update: it has been 2 year since the incidence. I’m still having issues with chewing, and I keep biting my lips and mouth. It has been a really unpleasant experience. I wish I could give them 0 or even minus stars.

Fantastic experience: I love Wyoming Dental and Rhonda in particular. I did not go to the dentist for many years and was extremely nervous to come back and they have been so kind and set a treatment plan for me with ease!

Negative experience: A deep cleaning was recommended from the service provider. Told it would have to be done in two visits (one side each time). Was told my portion would be 119$ after insurance submitted for each time. These crooks gone send me a bill stating I owe almost 1000$ for a deep cleaning of half my mouth. I would never agree to spending that much. Called and some rude lady say we just give estimates. Be for real. No other service provider does work before payment is taken care of. That’s almost the same price quoted if I decided to get partials for 3 missing teeth from them (which I’m not now). Next I’m about to report them to the BBB.

But, from the moment I walked in, the whole team made me feel comfortable and at ease. Jodie is incredibly gentle, kind, and I have never had a more thorough cleaning. Very detailed photos of my mouth were taken and she explained everything she was doing as she was going. Fantastic experience: I’m new to Wyoming Smile Center. I had two filings replaced yesterday. I was instructed to gargle with warm salt water & take ibuprofen for any discomfort. Well, I’m glad to say that none of that was necessary because I didn’t experience any pain!! They are excellent!! Dr. Sara Yochum & staff great job!!

Negative experience: Dr. Tyesha Martin, D.D.S. was very rude and not willing to listen to my needs. Horrible bedside manner. She shared she was too busy to listen. On the other hand, Shelly, the dental hygienist was wonderful, gentle and professional. Have been regularly visiting this office since 2008. Dr. Sarah Yochum is my regular dentist but was off today. This was the first and last time I will be seen by Dr. Martin. I want a healthcare professional that will listen with compassion and integrity. Luckily the office manger, Brandi, was able to reschedule my future appointments so that I will not have to cross paths with Dr. Martin again.

Fantastic experience: Initially I would have given them a three. I hadn't had dental insurance for a couple years and was very concerned about my teeth. On my first visit they took 18 x-rays and really didn't explain anything to me. I was told I would need to see a oral surgeon and have four teeth removed. They gave me a referral that didn't take my insurance. I called back they gave me another referral that did take my insurance so that was a positive going forward . On my second visit I had a deep cleaning which I guess is something new. But I didn't feel like I've got my money's worth I mentioned it to them and she scraped a bit longer. On my third visit I mentioned my concerns they were all addressed and my cleaning was done professionally to my satisfaction. Shelly went out of her way to make sure I was happy. She even polished my teeth for me. I have a couple friends needing appointments as well. I'm going to tell them to make sure they schedule with her. I look forward to seeing her again.# love my pearly whites!

Negative experience: This place has really gone downhill in the last few years. There is a revolving door of hygienists — after having had the same person for maybe 12 years, I don’t think I’ve seen the hygienist twice since COVID. They don’t even floss between all of my teeth — setting a great example! My dental appointment took max 35 minutes vs 45-60 in the past. They keep cutting corners. I hope to be moving soon otherwise I would be looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment 6 months ago for my child for after school at 4pm. The office calls me 3 days before stating the hygienist is leaving early on that day and they need to reschedule us. The reschedule dates were the same day or the next morning both during school/work hours. When I said we couldn’t do either they said well the next available appointment is 6 months later in April. I asked if another hygienist could see him and they said there were only 2 for the entire office and the other was booked. It is utterly ridiculous to make ppl adjust their work schedules and school schedules to accommodate your office when you can’t accommodate your patients. I’ve already had issues in the past with them billing only 1 insurance when they were 2 on file. Lori informed me she would look into it and there was never any follow up on that issue. I just let it go.

Positive experience: I think they consistently miss opportunities to explain what they recommend, why they propose a certain treatment plan, and that the procedure will entail. As a patient you have a right to informed consent, but I consistently feel like decisions are being made without anyone explaining them to me, which becomes apparent when you sign the consent form stating that “it’s been explained to me that…” and you have never heard any of it before. Staff is nice and I want to hope that they’re making the best decisions for you, but it’s hard to have full trust when nothing is explained, so I always leave feeling a little on edge and confused. Not sure that I’d recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for over 25 years. The doctors and the hygienists have always been thorough and willing to answer questions and explain procedures. The staff is always courteous, friendly, and helpful. Appointments generally run on time, rarely late. I highly recommend this practice.

I told her that I had filled out all 4 papers and gave to the hygienist. What happened to the, I asked, there was a hesitation. She said they may have gotten shredded. My personal information.
