Fantastic experience: Love this dentist. Office is top notch. Staff is very courteous and friendly and they practice all of the C19 precautions. Kristen was very knowledgeable and thorough and made me feel right at ease. I was equally impressed with the doctor. He was obviously an expert. Wish I'd found this place years ago. Highly recommend Manassas Smiles and their staff. I'll be using them again in the future. A+++ UPDATE: The above review was written years ago and I still go to Manassas Smiles. My new insurance doesn't work with them, but they're so good - I pay and go anyway. You can't beat this team. Friendly, professional and on top of their game. Fantastic experience: Manassas Smiles is a very clean, friendly, and responsive place. Their staff is really skilled and sensitive to the needs of patients, both children and adults. They are very careful when cleaning my sensitive teeth and excellent at pain management if a procedure needs to be done. They don’t sell unnecessary procedures but are proactive in identifying developing issues. I just had another great visit!

I have HORRIBLE dental anxiety and he takes his time and listens to your concerns. He is very gentle and gives you breaks if you need them. Negative experience: we’ve always had a pleasant experience at this dentist until recently when I tried to get my brother an appointment using the same insurance as my mom who is a current patient uses to get his dental work done. I was told by your office manager Marissa that you guys now all of a sudden don’t take our insurance when you’ve been taking our insurance no problem for over a year now And then reached out to them to figure out the problem and instead the office manager wanted to argue in addition, the office manager calls my mom‘s phone back. My mom passes me the phone to speak with her as well as I came in the room with my mother as well where she also told Marissa that I had authorization to have the conversation and Marissa refused to have that conversation if you’re looking for great customer service this is not the dental practice for you. And yes, my mother authorized me to make this review

Fantastic experience: Very nice and understanding. I came with my three littles ones. They’re ages 1,2, and 3 years old. They turned on the tv for my daughter to watch while trying to do her exam. My youngest two cried when I left the waiting room. They gave them toys to make them feel better. One lady even brought my kid back to me. They all reassured me that the crying was okay. Overall just a nice place to bring your kids too.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental practice for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The staff are very friendly. The dental assistants are gentle and listen to any concerns you may have. Mine is a gagging reflex so they are quick and patient with me. The dentists always explain every procedure to you and willingly answer any questions. I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. Lastly the front office staff are amazing. Make an appointment and you will understand why I love this dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Every visit is great from start to finish. They managed to take care of my whole family, even on a Saturday, which is awesome. I really appreciate their hours, the friendly staff, and all the technology they offered in the office. We loved their top-notch products, and the kids got cool treats along with a special free cavity photo boost. The waiting room is a hit with the TVs, iPads, and fun puzzles, keeping the kids entertained. And, I was entertained too; I got to watch my favorite show while they handled my cleaning and completely forgot about any discomfort—nice and relaxing. The dentists really know their job and are very thorough. I’m thankful for everything! UPDATE ————— As of January 30, 2025, I still feel the same way and trust them completely for my family’s regular checkups as well as for cosmetic work. They always treat me with care and take my concerns seriously, doing an amazing job every time. Lastly the reason for my last visit was cosmetic. When it came time for the crown procedure, Dr. Hassan was gentle and precise. I appreciated that each person took time to explain each step along the way. Positive experience: Overall satisfaction, however there was one issue that should be addressed. My visit was near the end of an extraction followed by an implant procedure that started in late October/early November of 2023. When advised of the cost/treatment plan I was only informed of the costs of the extraction, bone graft and soft tissue repair, not the total cost of the impressions, permanent tooth construction and replacement procedure. Upon arrival for my appointment I was presented with a second treatment plan and the associated cost. Needless to say that was a shock as I was under the impression that I had paid for the entire procedure back in October. While I am not saying that if presented with the full “out the door” costs originally I would have made a different decision, it would have been beneficial for budgeting to know the full cost.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t went to a dentist in 3 years because it’s a very traumatic thing for me , I realized last week I had my 2 wisdom teeth growing out and they did not look good , I called them and they scheduled me in within a few days for extraction…. I called several places and looked at the reviews… this place was the most affordable of them all with over all good reviews. And the experience was great every one from front desk to the assistant to the actual Dr were super nice and all explained to me everything and made sure I was comfortable. The process was painless and quick. . . Such a great team…

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to manassas smiles for a few years now maybe more and sense then it has only been a great experience! I love the atmosphere, but also just the design of the place itself. I started my Invisalign treatment with them and the process has been super easy and comfortable! They constantly make sure I’m happy with the outlook and make changes to suit me, which I appreciate a lot! Manassas smiles is a great dentist, but also a great environment for everyone! Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: Been going to this practice for a few years and spent quite a bit of money and only now did I realize what a mistake I've made all this time. To make things simple and straight to the point, main Doc recommended i took all my 4 wisdom teeth taken out because I had bitting problems and it was hard to clean them also (never heard this before at the othe practices) but I still moved forward and took at least two of them out to try things out and oh boy did I regret it. I was in so much pain, discomfort and couldn't even eat properly for roughly 3-4 months after. I called the office a couple of times during this time frame and all I would get was a "it will heal and get better", but it was always the same until it finally and slowly faded away after 4 months. I then went back again to my general check up and no one bothered to ask how I was feeling, they just wanted to do their general work and then the doc came in again and said, "all looks good, let's do the other two now". To that, I was like, no way, i need a break and besides, I was not having any issues with my teeth. I left time pass by and finally decided to schedule getting my other two wisdom teeth taken out but before I did that, the hygienist out of now where came out and said I had 2 cavities. First of all, Never in my life did I have amy cavities, second, I don't eat sweets like that at all, third, I could not see anything on those X-rays and 4th, when I spoke to the front desk and told them I was in shock because of the fact that I had never had any cavities before and I don't eat sweets like that, all she did was laugh at me, instead of treating the issue with respect or at least not bring up a smart comment. Anyway, went in a bout 3 weeks ago, took care of the "2" cavities, trusted them blindly, but for some reason things didn't feel right since the beginning. Doctor came in and applied the numbing swab liquid for approximately 10 seconds and then went straight in with 2 shots of anesthesia. He then proceeded with tools etc, to start filing down my molar aggressively to the point it started hurting pretty bad, he then gave 3-4 more shots of anesthesia and at that point my whole face and even brain were pretty numb to feel anything. He proceeded very aggressively and then his assistant finished the rest and while it took a while to get the fillings properly set, he finally got it all done and went home after that. 3 weeks later, my gums are hurting pretty bad, bleeding some times and then overtime I eat, food now goes in between my molars and I two my gum. Never, NEVER, did I have this issue before, nore pain, nor cavities at all!! This came out of nowhere, even when my teeth apparently were in perfect shape, according their hygienist, I was very shook when they said I had two cavities out of nowhere but I decided to trust them once again. 3 weeks into this with lots of pain, I called once and they said the pain would go away and things would back to normal soon. Honestly, after reading all the negative reviews which they've done a pretty good of hiding by the way, i now realize that I have trusted a very dishonest dentist firm all these years and I will never be going back to them!!! People, do yourselves a favor and read their negative reviews, they are there and they are hidden for a reasonable!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Manassass Smiles for a few years now and have had everything from routine cleanings to fillings and wisdom teeth removal. The whole staff is extremely kind and friendly. They always remember my name when I walk in. During my most recent filling I had a small anxiety attack as we started and the Dental Assistant, Stephanie, was so supportive and helped me breathe through it. Walter at the front desk also checked in on me as I was closing out. I’m so grateful for the wonderful people in the office.

As one with anxiety when it comes to seeing the dentist, Doc and his team do a fantastic job keeping myself at ease. There is no pressure and the staff is very supportive. If you are looking for a new dentist, I strongly recommend giving them a try.

Negative experience: Staff is great and they did a good job with my cleaning. But, Everytime I come on there is something new with my teeth. I was told I have a cavity and it was a best case / worst case situation. Best case is it is 2 fillings for $89. Worst case root canal for one tooth $1200. But they have to go into the tooth to decide. From my understanding X rays should show how deep the cavity is and decide based off of that. I have never had a dentist have to open my tooth to decide on a filling. This is the second time also. First time they said the same thing but they just shaved my tooth down a applied a crown with out even discussing if it was a filling or a crown doctor just showed me the picture of my tooth fully shaved down almost to the nerve and said the cavity was deep so I paid $770 instead of $89. I have been going here for a over a year but I've lost my trust in this place.

Everyone is professional & friendly, always greeting with a smile. Attention to details when doing estimates or scheduling is outstanding. Dr. Hassad is my dentist & I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. He is extremely efficient at his job & cares about what treatment you desire. The receptionist provided exceptional customer service and they were able to see me the same day as I was in pain. Dr. Hassan's through explanation of the root canal procedure and team's dedication to ensure my comfort speaks volume about their professionalism and care.

Fantastic experience: My routine cleaning and checkup went very smoothly. The hygienist was very nice and was thorough in her cleaning my teeth. The required x-rays were done very expediently. I would recommend Manassas Smiles to anyone looking for a local dentist that treats people so kindly.

Negative experience: My husband had a terrible experience with this dentist. He had to have a lot of work done and the procedure was rushed and they were not concerned with his comfort at all. In the end they were so disrespectful. It seriously concerns me that this is the way they handle patients. I would not recommend.

Negative experience: To start off, they filled me with a treatment plan worth thousands of dollars; okay, no big deal. Then they start to deviate from the treatment plan: horrible communication. The best person at communicating what was going on to me was the person who was taking my payment, and even then there was communication errors between him and Dr. Hassan. Dr Hassan did not seem to care about how I felt, as I had paid for nitrous due to my anxiety of dentists, and he was ready to stick me with a local anesthetic without giving me the nitrous I paid for, due to anxiety. again bad communication. Before I had a surgery extracting LITERALLY every bottom tooth in my mouth, they had already had the prescriptions written up and I had already been asked to pay. Before he started extracting my teeth, I said I said I had concerns about the prescriptions, his response and this is a direct quote "Don't worry about that we will give you more or less whatever you need let's just get this done first". Of course after the procedure , he said "you are starting to sound like a drug seeker" because I asked for something stronger, since I already take ibuprofen and tylenol. I need to sleep to work and provide for my family. He said he was going to call in something for me that he doesn't call in for anyone else, a narcotic similar to vicodin that would actually help, telling me the medley of Ibuprofen, tylenol, and (something I can't remember, but he never actually prescribed it) would help, and something else. The "strong narcotic" that I could have just in-case was just an NSAID and I received no ibuprofen or tylenol. Another thing about the 1400$ procedure was that he took two top teeth that he never communicated to me what we were doing. He took two of my top teeth out before I could say anything or realize what happened. It was clear that he only wanted the money, so he rushed the procedure of extracting all my teeth, putting in temporary dentures, giving me NO instructions on how to use them, take care of them or even take them out. So basically, they had lied, done procedures that I never verbally agreed to, the doctor did NOT communicate with me at all, and when I tried to he was so rushed I was brushed aside. After my botched treatment due to lack of communication, he makes sure not to take care of my pain. When I eventually brought up that I didn't think I should have to pay since I mentioned my concerns before he started that he said he would address, he got unusually angry, and called me a "drug seeker" which was completely unnaceptable. I stayed calm, told him that was not ok, he realized he was getting angry and tried to remedy the situation. He then wrote me a prescription for "Ketorolac" , an NSAID; I told him it doesn't have to be a narcotic, just something that WORKS, and that he can look through my prescription history because I never get painkillers for anything; so if I ask for them, I need them. He told me he wrote me something that is a narcotic that he believes work even stronger than vicodin. This was a lie. I am on all my prescriptions right now and it barely takes the edge off. The pain is only getting worse and worse as the night progresses, and I can only pray I get sleep. I have had wisdom teeth taken out, I have had many different dental proedures, and so far this has been the most painful. I know I already repeated myself a couple time in this long review, but I cannot stress how horrible the experience was today, it is enough to scar someone to never want to see a dentist again. I honestly do not know if I can ever trust a dentist again after being lied to repeatedly by Dr. Hasan, who I had a thought was going to treat me like a patient, not a cash pinata. This is going to set me back years, not knowing who I can trust. I apologize for any repetition in this review, it was the worst possible experience possible. I wish he would be held accountable for this. Edit: 5AM, No sleep, no 40 hour week, Can barely move my tongue. Thanks Dr. Hassan! Traumatizing experience. Don't trust botted reviews.

Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time a few days ago and everyone was so nice. The staff at the front desk seemed to know most of their clients by name which was really sweet to see. The hygienist did a great job at cleaning my teeth and was very helpful. I definitely recommend Manassas Smiles!

Positive experience: I went in to get a cleaning and had told them when I made the appointment that I chipped a tooth. I get there and get my cleaning, which was pretty good. There was some confusion about who was going to polish my teeth, but after I asked them about doing it, that happened. Nothing was said about fixing my tooth. I had to talk with the lady at the front and she didn’t schedule enough time and oh, there it is in the notes about the chip. So, let’s schedule another appointment for that! Usually this place is pretty good. I like the dentist, he does a good job. When I talk with Walter at the front desk there usually isn’t any confusion. I will for sure be dealing with him from now on if I can and not the ladies!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hassan is the best dentist I’ve ever had. His bedside manner is patient, kind and sincerely caring. His dentistry work is top notch and thorough.

Positive experience: Pam was the hygienist this time. She is extremely thorough, explains what she is doing, and make recommendations on what to do to improve my mouth hygiene. I understand she needs the light she uses to see better and keep her body aligned, but it is extremely bright and makes you keep your eyes closed constantly to protect yourself from being blinded. Providing darker sunglasses or a cloth over the glasses would help!

Fantastic experience: I always receive excellent service AND support whenever I go here for an appointment. I have severe dentophobia, but all the people at Manassas Smiles make me feel comfortable and welcomed and as at ease as possible, every time. As long as I live within driving distance of this office, I will not go anywhere else!

Negative experience: My partner came back from a cavity filling appointment shaking from the pain she was in throughout today’s procedure. Despite telling the dentist multiple times that she was in pain, local anesthesia was injected into the same areas in the cheek (not the gums—I’m not a dentist, but every filling I’ve had there was certainly at least some anesthesia injected into the gums) over and over. Currently, her tongue is badly bitten and she’s numb all the way up to her eyes but there is not a bit of numbness in her teeth. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else for your dental work, because this was truly an unacceptable (and decently traumatic) experience, and I’m incredibly angry on her behalf.

Negative experience: The main reason for this review is the conversation I had with their account specialist (or whatever her title is) this morning. Zero professionalism. Zero respect for the patient. She was raising her voice and interrupting me the whole time and yelled in the end (I've never been yelled at at a doctor's office) "I hope you'll find a better office". When I told her their dentists were always late for the appointments she said "Sorry, you are not the only patient here", and "Dentists are late in all offices." What is the point of making appointments then if they don't respect time? And to answer your comments, lady accountant - I know offices where doctors are on time and care enough to come in on their day off to help their patients. You, however, will never understand this level of compassion. Now some extra details. Every single time I go to the office, I wait for their dentists for over an hour. I saw 2 different dentists, including Dr. Hassan, and both are always late. I take time off of work to go there, I come on time and I expect the same respect in return. I understand they can ba late once, but every single time?? Two times I had an 8am appointment with them, and both times the dentist walked into the office when I was already there. The fact that they do not respect patients' time is enough to never come back to this office. One time their dentist was explaining to me about cracked teeth and literally said "Google it" Wow. I paid for my visit to be directed to Google? Another time I needed a filling and I asked to do it without anesthesia. First of all, the dentist looked horrified after these words (dentists shouldn't be afraid to perform such procedures without anesthesia, should they?), and then he left for about 30 minutes... while I was waiting for him with numbing gel in my mouth. Numbing gel doesn't prevent pain during filling, so I'm not sure why they even applied it. The last time I got a filling there, my tooth became sensitive (it wasn't prior to the filling). So, I had to come back to fix the sensitivity twice. The first time, they did not charge me for this (thank you). The second time, I had to pay for the solution they used (which I'm fine with). However, a few weeks later, I received a bill saying that I owed for an exam they performed that day. During the visit, they never mentioned that there were charges pending. Also, when I came in for that visit, I told them exactly what the problem was and asked to apply the same solution they applied last time. I waited for the dentist for an hour (his assistant was just sitting next to me waiting for him, too). Then he finally came, looked at the tooth, said I needed night guards (he already told me that, so nothing new), and left. The assistant and I stayed waiting for him to come back. Then, some other assistant told this assistant that she needed to apply the solution. The assistant was surprised, so was I, because none of us heard the dentist saying that. So if an assistant can apply the solution, why in the world did they make me wait for the dentist??! P.s. they also tried to get an x-ray done, which I refused. They do x-rays every time I go there, and I go there every few months. So when I received the bill, I called them to see why I was charged for an exam that was not necessary (because I told them what the issue was and what I needed them to do). This morning, their account specialist called me back and started to give me an attitude the moment she started to talk. Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience speaking with a medical specialist. I couldn't say more than 3 words at a time because she was constantly interrupting and raising her voice. I paid the bill and canceled my cleaning appointment with them (this is where she wished me to find a better office). I'm sure they would try to charge for another exam during the cleaning. This office clearly cares about the profit more than the patients. On a bright side - they have very nice assistants and front desk people.
