Fantastic experience: i had a great experience at Charlottesville Dental Associates today. Dr Horton was so very thorough with my exam. Sandy, the hygienist, was equally patient and careful with my treatment. I am very thankful to have the entire team to help me with my dental care.

Fantastic experience: The people at this dentist office are all friendly, kind and professional, from the receptionist to dental hygienist to the dentist! Connor, my dental hygienist, was amazing! He was gentle and informative, and spent extra time so I didn’t need to come back. He put me completely at ease, and it was obvious to me he had a lot of expertise and was extremely good at his job—he was very skilled at everything he did! He also checked in while he was cleaning my teeth to make sure I was doing okay, and his whole attitude made me feel like I was in excellent hands! Dr Vo, the dentist, stopped in and was also attentive and willing to answer any questions. Checking in and checking out was easy and a pleasure with the friendly receptionists! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the dentist office is very friendly. They're schedule is usually pretty open, so you don't have to wait forever. Also, COVA Care works like a dream here if you work for the state.

Fantastic experience: I continue to use Charlottesville Dental Associates because of their professional and polite staff, both dental and administrative. They provide all the services I need. The practice responded quickly to changing needs and schedules. I am very pleased with all aspects of dealing with Charlottesville Dental Associates. They are certainly worth the 90 mile round trip I have to make to visit them! My bridge detached over the weekend. An early call to CDA arranged an end of the day appointment. When they received a last minute cancellation, they called and I filled the appointment. My bridge was reinstalled within six hours of my call. They care. 24 July 2025. I have just completed my routine checkup. The quality of care and the caring attitude of everyone there remain outstanding! 19 Aug 2025 I returned to see Dr. Vo for repair/replacement of a crown. The appointment went as smoothly as I have come to expect. Old crown removed, temporary one installed, new crown on order. I am a very satisfied customer.

Fantastic experience: Amazing first experience as a new patient. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They were quick to take me back, answer insurance questions, etc. my hygienist was the best I’ve ever had and Dr. Horton was great! Everything was thorough without feeling like I was there too long. Dr. Horton and her hygienist answered all questions I had without feeling like I was rushed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 3 main hygienists in the last 20 years of going here and all have been absolutely amazing. Genuinely caring and incredibly knowledgeable. I like knowing the science behind things and all of them have educated me. I’ve (thankfully) never had to have too much interaction with the dentists due to no needs beyond cleaning but Dr. States has been good thru our 2/year brief interactions. I do recommend this practice.

I saw Dr Christina Horton and she was able to quickly get me in for an emergency visit as a new patient and get me referred the next day to an endodontist. I would love to stay with them but they unfortunately do not accept my insurance and the difference is significant. I went back 7/21. Different employees, but also excellent. A man to whom I had recommended this practice said that they had saved him. He was suffering. They helped him right away, w/ a first appointment, for him. I was glad to hear it, but not surprised.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first visit to this office yesterday, and I must say, I was so impressed with everyone I encountered there! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! It was truly a pleasure to go to the dentist, which is not something I would usually say. I have a long dental history and had gone in with some pain issues. Being a new patient, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they worked me in. They got me fixed up right away and took the time to talk to me about my situation, as well as the concerns I had. Dr. Horton and Zack were both very kind, patient and knowledgeable, and I feel very confident that this practice is a good choice for my dental needs.

Her work was exemplary. She is very kind, caring and pleasant. Dr. Horton is excellent as well and the staff is great too and does careful work and very professional cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vo is amazing! I had a bad experience at another dentist office last year. So, I was scared to go to a dentist again. Unfortunately, due to a broken tooth, I had to go. I called Charlottesville Dental Associates, and they got me in right away. I had the tooth pulled this morning. It took no time at all, and I felt nothing (once my mouth was numb). Dr. Vo is incredibly compassionate, she took the time to explain everything in great detail, and was very patient with me. I definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs dental care, especially if you have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to the area and had an urgent dental issue come up. Charlottesville Dental Associates got me in on the following business day, first thing in the morning. Everyone was super friendly and professional and when the dentist saw me, she was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. I'm well overdue for a cleaning and their office worked to get me in next week, which is unheard of if you're trying to establish care with a new dental provider. I've found my new dentist! Dr. Horton is definitely the best dentist I’ve ever had - she’s quick and efficient without missing anything!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I am super sad to leave them when I move. Every dentist here is excellent. Have never been called back past my appointment time. They don’t overbook. When I had tooth pain, they were able to see me quickly. I never feel rushed. My teeth are the best they’ve ever been. Would recommend to anyone. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. States for over a decade now. I am so pleased with the care I received there over the years. I recently lost a crown due to a piece of Laffy taffy. Dr. States was able to see me the same day and I was in and out of there in a jiffy.
