Fantastic experience: My first time at Tippit gave me a good experience. Similar to other dental offices, they did recommend deep cleaning. But I denied that service. They respected my decision and only did regular cleaning as I requested. I love the way they respect their patient and patient’s decision unlike other places which they would keep convincing you to do other services. My dental hygienist today was Andrea and she was beyond what I expected. She showed me what would be covered or not covered by my insurance. And I chose what I wanted to do and she respected my decisions. My teeth were also cleaned thoroughly. Highly recommended Andrea!!!

To this day Tippit dental has only diagnosed me with 2 cavities that needed to be filled. Very grateful to have found this practice.

My only caution is the additional unnecessary charges - mouth rinses that are overpriced, items not covered by insurance but recommended, etc. I am very cautious to specify that if it's not covered by insurance, I'm not interested (e.g. flouride treatment).

Michelangelo had his Sistine Chapel ceiling; Andrea has her ultrasonic scaler. I have never in my life left a review before, but after my experience with Andrea, I felt compelled, driven, even spiritually obligated to put metaphorical pen to paper and share the gospel of Andrea with the world. From the moment I stepped into the office, I sensed something magical was afoot. I could smell mint and professionalism in the air. Then Andrea walked in—calm, confident, wearing her PPE like a knight in gleaming armor ready to battle the tartar forces of evil. Her warm smile (yes, you can see it in the eyes even through the mask) and calm demeanor put me instantly at ease. This wasn't going to be just a cleaning; this was going to be a transformation. Andrea began with the gentlest of touches, like an angel flossing clouds. Every movement was precise, practiced, purposeful. I have never met someone who could so seamlessly combine science and art. She explained everything she was doing, not in a boring way, but with the enthusiasm of someone who truly, deeply cares about molars, bicuspids, and yes, even those often-forgotten wisdom teeth. By the time she whipped out the ultrasonic scaler, I was practically giddy. And let me talk about that cleaning—oh, that glorious cleaning. I have never felt more cared for. It was as if Andrea could sense the emotional baggage I carried in my enamel. Every scrape was a letting go. Every rinse was a rebirth. When she flossed my teeth, I could hear angels singing in E-flat major. When she polished them, I swear I saw a beam of celestial light shine down upon me through the fluorescent office ceiling. She offered tips with the perfect mix of encouragement and realism. “You’re doing great,” she said with a nod, “but let’s aim for flossing five times a week.” It was never judgmental—just Andrea gently guiding me to become the best dental version of myself. By the end of the appointment, I didn’t just have a cleaner mouth—I had a renewed sense of purpose. And let’s not ignore the little things—like how she remembered that I prefer the bubblegum fluoride (don’t judge me), or how she always asks about my dog, or how she somehow makes the suction tube feel like a luxurious spa feature. Andrea is thorough, fast but never rushed, funny without trying too hard, and she somehow managed to make scraping plaque off my teeth feel like a meditative experience. In short: if you are within 500 miles of this dental office, do yourself a favor—no, a life service—and book an appointment with Andrea. You will leave not only with sparkling teeth, but with a restored faith in humanity. If Andrea ever runs for office, I will vote for her. If she releases a memoir, I will buy 12 copies. The cleaning itself was remarkably thorough – my teeth have never felt so clean! What I particularly appreciated was the time she took to offer personalized tips and advice for improving my daily oral hygiene routine. She even provided me with helpful samples and recommendations for products I could use at home. Positive experience: All personnel were great, but the charges were excessive, with the charge to reglue my crown at $212 was especially egregious, given that it took less than 5 minutes.

Negative experience: I used to love this dentist but everything seems to have changed. Was not seen until 30 minutes after my appt time and didn’t even hardly see the dentist. Instead a new dental asst who didn’t seem to know what she was doing.

He took his time, explained every step of the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Despite having gone through childbirth twice, I’ve always been incredibly anxious about dental visits—but Dr. Jeffrey Collins truly changed that for me. The procedure was smooth, thorough, and virtually painless, which is something I never thought I’d say about a root canal! On top of that, Jo, my hygienist, was absolutely fantastic. She was so kind and did an amazing job with my cleaning, making what is usually an uncomfortable experience feel so easy and relaxed. I’ve always dreaded dental appointments, but Tippit Dental Group has completely shifted my perspective. For the first time in my life, I actually feel at ease going to the dentist.
