Fantastic experience: Sharing the most positive experience with my seven year old who is a patient here. She has actually convinced me to take care of my own dental health. We had Dan as the hygienist and he was incredible for both Olivia and I. Everything was explained in great detail and all questions were answered. Olivia loves it here!!! Gone are the days of fighting to get my child to go to an appointment!! They are caring and compassionate, and I will forever be a fan.

Negative experience: I went in as new patient because of the fake reviews and I say this because they must have gone to a different office. Place is outdated reception area was crazy the front desk is not friendly they looked stressed first question was did I fill out the papers instead of being greeted. The Dental staff is in and out of the rooms you would think it's a ER room not a dental office I heard a person complain about a bill and front desk said samething on repeat insurance doesn't pay. He asked to speak to Rand and he is too busy to come out. Office manager I suppose just came out and said samething your insurance didn't pay but that never answered his question. Another person was complaining about up selling a treatment plan that nobody could explain why he needed it. I left the office nobody even bothered asking me if I had questions about the paperwork I was to there 15 min and it looked like a circus not a dental office There is nothing professional about this place you can't tell a patient is a dollar sign not a person. The staff is trained to sell not treat. The office is not what the reviews say Rand has to be on an ego trip because his name is plastered on every wall

Fantastic experience: I am very anxious about the dentist and I've been known to put it off and then to have big problems when I get there. In the past at other dentists, I have often felt judged and I never felt like I had a real plan. Dr. J. Patel and his team changed all of that. I broke my two front teeth 30 years ago and have been so worried about the bonding breaking off. He finally fixed it ... And worked with me on everything else that needed attention. Today, I finished that process and I could not be happier. He explained everything to me every time. I never felt like I didn't have a plan. I never felt judged. I finally have my teeth fixed. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: I met with the periodontist today and Dr. Kaur was very knowledgeable and LISTENED to what I wanted. She explained the procedures to me and made my feel confident i will have my great smile back. I can't wait to get started. Fantastic experience: First visit just for consultation. I've had Crohn's for 40 years and the past three or four years my teeth have gotten to the point one by one I'm losing them no matter what. Crohn's can affect your mouth. All these years and it finally caught up to me. I had a major infection and my periodontist got the infection out and it was huge and I lost the implant he put there and two teeth because of it. Never even knew I had an infection. Periodontist couldn't help me any further and I needed to find someone who could. Finally, found Rand dental and so far the oral surgeon was wonderful. He gave me his honest opinion. I will meet with the prosthodontist next and hopefully come up with treatment plan that will best suit me. I'm already giving them five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone I talked to treated me like a friend. I'm looking forward to staying with Rand Dental for all my Dental needs.

Negative experience: This honeslty pains me to write, because I had heard such wonderful things about Rand. I went in the spring of 2025 and was asked to upgrade and buy a bunch of "holistic remedies". I was also told that I had multiple cavities! I haven't had a cavity since I was a kid. Months later, I went to a different, well respected office, where I had gone years before. Not only do I not have one cavity, but they said my teeth were in great shape! They didn't try to sell me anything. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Rand.

Fantastic experience: Iulia was efficient and kind. Dr. Li was thorough and caring. I felt like all of my concerns were listened to and addressed. I feel safe and comfortable at Rand Dental.

Negative experience: It seems that everytime we go they find new cavities. Teeth were doing fine for ever. I trusted them and got some cavities filled (even though I felt no pain or sensitiveness). After the procedure my teeth don't feel the same and ended up having to have a root canal. I went from no pain or sensitivity to constant discomfort. I recommend finding another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kaur and her team of ladies were great! I’m usually very nervous at the dentist, especially for big procedures like I had today. However Dr. Kaur did a wonderful job of explaining everything step by step and guiding me through this process. The whole team was over all very patient, professional and friendly!

Fantastic experience: I traveled over an hour to come to this dentistry, and irmt was 100% worth it. The staff was warm and welcoming, the doctor was thorough, kind and incredible with my 5 year old. She has an absolute blast and cant wait to go back to the dentist ( AND she had cavities filled!)

Fantastic experience: I called this morning for an emergency and they saw my daughter right away. The staff was so kind and friendly my daughter said she never wants to go anywhere else for the dentist again. Alex at the front desk was so helpful and Dr Chavez and Kayla put my daughter at ease right away. I am so grateful to everyone there..,highly recommended!

Negative experience: Very friendly and nice, a dentistry I have been looking for. Transparent and patient, as a new first time customer and patient I like them pretty much. 2025 updates: As a patient, I need transparency and especially for payments. I had some fillings in April. Prior that it was estimated I would pay from my own pocket $210. On that date of doing the filling on April 10th, I was told to pay $279.75. I was fine with that and paid. Thinking that after paying the dental insurance premium $360/year just for this purpose, it’s still a bit under what they proposed over $700 for this filling without insurance last year. Now at close to end of August, I was told I owed them $216. I was shocked and disgusted. How stupid am I listening to them and ending up like this! Speechless!

Fantastic experience: Rand dental is excellent, they are very kind and gentle with my sensitive teeth. They educated me greatly on the issues I have going on and they are going to resolve all of them over my next few appointments. I am looking forward to my new healthy smile. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient close to 10 years and the staff and physicians are fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Past dentists I've felt ripped off and they just to drill teeth to get money but not rand!! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Positive experience: The actual dentistry work was great.. however it look 40min to go in for my appointment, and when I came out to check out no one was at reception and was told they were all at a meeting? I was then told to call later to follow up. Didn’t think a regular dentist visit would take 2hrs!

Fantastic experience: So far so good. I have going to Rand Dental for about a year. There are helpful and courteous. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist, but they make sure I'm comfortable and explain everything that is going on. Helps to put my nerves at ease.

Fantastic experience: I have recently switched to Rand from another dentist, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. I have anxiety about dental work, and the doctors and hygienists made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout all the procedures I've had done. Fantastic experience: Dental appointments are typically not an enjoyable experience but thankfully the team at Rand is nice and courteous. They listen and take my overly anxious and nervous concerns into consideration and try to make the experience as comfortable as possible and even taking the time to break down and help me get a clear understanding of my insurance coverage. Thank you to the team at Rand for your patience and calm demeanor from check in to check out.

Negative experience: I used to be a patient here years ago, and they did an absolutely horrible job doing a frontal filling. The fillings ended up falling off multiple times and I had to go somewhere else for them to rectify the issue. I don’t know why this place likes to “puff themselves” up for just for FB likes Or Google review likes, it’s pathetic.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough great things about Rand Dental! My teeth are a mess and they are outstanding with their services. They take the time to explain what is wrong, how they can fix it and they make sure you understand everything that is going on. I give them 10 stars ! Oh, and bonus, they are pain free, catering to cowards like me!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using this dentist on and off since I was 3 years old, not once have I ever had a problem. They’re always so friendly and professional! I broke my tooth on Tuesday night and called Thursday morning and they were able to see me the same day. If it wasn’t for them being so helpful and getting me in right away I would’ve gone 12 days with a broken tooth on vacation which is no fun!

Fantastic experience: Rand Dental has been our dental practice we use for the past decade. We originally came because one of my children was adopted from foster care and had PTSD and needed a place that offered laughing gas to calm her anxiety. All of my five children go there. One of my daughters is finishing up her braces and the other one is about to begin. My teenager got her wisdom teeth out, and they were so compassionate and gentle and sweet. Dr. Patel is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things if you ask questions. Dr. Karen is a phenomenal pediatric dentist. All the receptionists are friendly and helpful. A great place to try!

Fantastic experience: Jen the hygienist waited for me this evening even though - because of my job I was late. She is extremely professional and good at her job. James is patient and makes sure that your needs are met. The dentists - like Dr. Lee and Dr. Patel are wonderful and take the time to explain procedures to you. Their work is phenomenal and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Otero the oral surgeon will let you know if the procedure is what you need and is excellent. If you need people that care come here. I’m sorry for all the people I did not mention - but they are there and happy to help.

I’ve always had a deep fear of the dentist, and it takes a lot for me to even walk through the door. But Dr. Patel is truly an expert, especially when it comes to dental crowns—he’s gentle, patient, and always makes sure I’m comfortable every step of the way. The entire staff is just as kind and caring. They never rush, they listen, and they do everything they can to ease my anxiety. It honestly makes a huge difference. Negative experience: I’ve been going to this practice for almost 8 years. Initially, they seemed attentive and professional, but over time, each visit became more frustrating. Appointments often ran late, and treatment recommendations were either delayed or not mentioned. Additionally, they also keep charging so much for such bad treatment, and even charging 4% for a credit card use.

Fantastic experience: I had Karen for my hygienist. I told her at the end, my deep cleaning was like being at a Dental Spa. I really could have just fallen asleep. It was gently, the injection was painless, she was gracious. Truly I appreciate the work and of course my teeth were immaculately cleaned. Thanks Karen!!!!!

Step by step awareness of what’s coming, like a little pinch here, here’s what I’m gonna do. Clear information of post operative instructions. He is very on time. Minimal wait. Thank you Dan.

Fantastic experience: I 5 starred out of respect. New patient, w/o insurance and opting for no discount plan, cost is: $300 to $400 for basic clean, exam, & xrays. Ha-ha that's a hard no for me. BTW, Rutgers dental school for said services is $120 to $140.

I love that you can be seen almost right away after scheduling not like other offices where the next available appointment are months ahead of time! All the employees are kind and caring and always make you feel welcome! Dan my dental hygienist who had done cleaning is great and would definitely come back to him to future appointments! Rand dental is the best dentist I have gone to and will continue to come here for their hospitality and service!!

Positive experience: The hygienist was great. Punctual, gentle, and generally provided a comfortable cleaning. The doctor had to be paged 3 times, took 30 minutes to arrive, and said about than 20 words total.

But during my visit there on March 4, 2025 my fears were erased! I had the honor to have dental hygienist Julia! She was just so professional, kind and caring. She answered all of my concerns and did a great cleaning and examination of my teeth! She is great! I also met the dentist Dr. Patel who was also great and listened to my needs! I had to return for some treatment on 3/11/25. The care given in my opinion was outstanding! My thanks to Dominique and Dr. Patel, they both were attentive and professional and listened to all of my concerns. I really felt better and at ease when I left.... great service!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an onlay 3D printed to fix my tooth at Rand Dental with Dr J. Patel. He did such an excellent job and let me avoid a full crown. They use such awesome technology, it’s so cool to feel on the cutting edge of this sort of thing!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of this practice since August 1990, shortly after it opened. It has grown tremendously in those 32 years. I have been very pleased with every visit. The wait time from arrival to being taken to the exam room is usually fairly short (a few exceptions over the years if they're really busy). The staff is friendly, attentive, and provide excellent information about your care and recommendations for improvement if it's needed. I've encouraged others to give this practice a change, and I've never received any negative feedback from those I've referred. Overall, I'm very happy with Rand Center for Dentistry and I plan to continue with them for a long time. I am now doing Invisilign and the experience has so far been excellent

Fantastic experience: Rand Dental has such great staff from the front desk to the hygienists and the doctors. The atmosphere is very friendly and the technology they use to show you what is going on with your teeth is amazing. Definitely recommend them for your family.

Positive experience: My previous review was glowing, and I've since left this practice... The hygienist was great, and the initial care was outstanding. But after being charged an exorbitant amount for one minute of another dentist (specialist) to look into the mouth without touching a thing... Being scheduled for one filling, only to come in and have reception say I see you're getting 8 fillings today... With the next visit to replace a filling, they charged me again, for the same filling. I asked why it wasn't covered by the last time that filling was done, and told it's only covered for one year. Then I understood why the appointment was scheduled so far out, to be outside that yearly window (witch in fact was a two year window and they had to refund the charges). I came to realize they treat you like you're on a production line, and they need to maximize profits . Beware of procedures that are not necessary, and upcharges at every turn... Finding a practice where you're a valued patient and not a number in the line. Good luck...

Fantastic experience: Doctor Kim is best orthodontist, both of my kids were treated there and I was satisfied with results.
