Old Orchard Periodontics and Implant Dentistry

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice since 1999 and get consistently outstanding care. They have done numerous gum grafts and clean my teeth twice a year. Together we are a team working to keep my gums healthy and my teeth clean. And they are all so very nice! I also, like the fact that they communicate so well with my dentist. That kind of collaboration is important to me and for my continued mouth care.I won’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Well, so far I've only had a consultation, but I am impressed by the professionalism exhibited by all staff members. Dr. Gupta is very kind and patient with his explanations. The office staff thoroughly explained the costs and payment options in advance so there should be no surprises. Even though no one really wants to go to the Periodontist, if you have to go, this seems like an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Gupta will personally call you the day of your procedure to see how you are doing. Plus he provides a cell phone number to reach him in case of an emergency. They provide headphone with music for larger procedures and offer blankets and pillows while in the chair. The best.

Jody was very thorough in removing tartar and cleaning my teeth. My teeth literally gleamed after Jody finished her treatment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gupta is awesome and so is his team. I was very nervous since it was my first time being at the Peridontics but felt at ease once I spoke to the doctor. They are very thorough and detail oriented. There is not much you need to ask because they give you your answers before asking them. I appreciated how they provided me with the itemized bill and went thru line by line explaining what the charges are for. There are no hidden agendas. Great doctor and great team. Highly recommend anyone who would needs a dental work completed.

He then checked the more important findings. We discussed my thoughts at length and then laid out a detailed plan. His recommendations reflected a conservative approach and concern for my comfort, well being and costs. I am very happy to be a patient at this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful maintenance visit at Dr. Barack's office. Sandra was very welcoming as I walked in, and Selman was very gentle taking xrays. Coreen is a great dental hygienist. She asked about my overall health, explained what she was doing, areas of concern and what I could do to improve. She also shared pictures of her family! Fantastic experience: Going to this office is like going to spa. Great caring staff and always happy. This is my 13th implant and never have any pain or problem. I also had my son join them for an implant after another dentist left him with a six week severe infection. Dr Barak is a genius.

Fantastic experience: Easy to make appointments and the office has everything to address your periodontic needs. Staff is very friendly and able to answer your questions. I have been a patient of Dr. Barack for many years and he is exceptional and always has time even when I am just getting my teeth cleaned. I do not have extensive experience with Dr. Gupta but he is always willing to answer a question. Sine he is working with Dr. Barack, I know that he has great skills and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I went ahead with gum graft surgery with Dr Gupta on April 10th. Again, my experience is much the same as my initial review. This is not an easy experience to go through, but they make it quite comfortable. Every step is explained and time taken to be sure you feel comfortable. Dr. Gupta's staff is well trained and went over follow up instructions. Dr. Gupta gives you his cell phone in case of any complications, and he called me that evening to check in. You definitely feel in good hands going through this procedure. I had an initial evaluation after a referral from my dentist. From the time I called for my appointment, I had a very I positive experience. The receptionist was pleasant, and explained the appointment thoroughly, so that I understood the length and purpose and the cost. The office is bright and pleasant. I found Dr Gupta to be very considerate, gentle and knowledgeable. These can be expensive treatments, and they offer several fair options for payments.

Fantastic experience: This was my second need for Dr Barack. My first was a tissue graft revision that didn't take from another periodontist. This was many years ago and went without any complications and was successful. 3 weeks ago, I underwent an elective dental implant/ extraction. This was done all in one day- in about 45 minutes. I elected no sedation and listened to my music during the procedure. To say that this was easy without any symptoms post-operatively is an understatement- No swelling and no pains and essentially no bleeding afterwards. He prescribed me an antibiotic afterwards to prevent infection. Today was my post-op visit which was easy and quick. The way to assess a dental/medical provider is to see how they interact with their staff, let alone their patients. Dr. Barack treats his staff with the utmost respect with friendly conversation. I returned to Dr Barack for his skill but also his "bedside" manner. I've only see him for two procedures but feel as if he is a friend. I got a beautiful flower delivery today ( mums) as a " thank you". I appreciate the great care! 2/25: I recently returned for additional work to biospy the site of my implant. I was with professionalism. Even though I am in the medical field, every step was explained to me in simple terms. This has been a 2+ year process. This last step was done as part of the initial procedure - no additional billings. I cannot complement this office more.

Fantastic experience: This appointment was for an extraction of tooth #19. The staff are courteous, friendly, professional and they make you feel welcome and at ease. Dr Barack is just......well.......outstanding. My extraction wasn't easy because one of the roots ran deep. This was my 2nd implant extraction. They are never fun. That said, he made me pretty comfortable. And considering I had just come from a half-completed root canal caused by the Endodontist seeing minute cracks going down into the root, I was very pleased. I am writing this review one day after the extraction. I'm taking Motrin, but only took one Norco pill last night. I slept really well and have no pain today! If I ever need another implant, I want Dr Barack!
