Fantastic experience: I have been to a few dentistry clinics in Rockford area and I can tell you first hand, these professionals are the real deal! You will feel confident the moment you are greeted. Their receptionists are top notch. I personally have a specialized situation but I can assure you even after the seriously qualified hygienist took my records and previous x-rays and even after taking some additional x-rays, the exam, etc., I learned what I needed to know with utter transparency. The hygienist was able to convey details on a parallel with the MD. This has never been the norm in my experiences.They will help you through your decision making processes on how and what you need to do next. In a nutshell, they will consult you on pathways that help protect your pocketbook and explain it in detail.

Finding out I needed a crown replacement sent shivers up my back. Dr. Valdez informed me I would not feel any pain only some pressure. He was correct! A great procedure without pain. I highly recommend Dr. Valdez and his assistant Katrina!

Dr Gibson, as always, was friendly and too concerned about my health problems. We discussed several teeth replacement options making sure I understood them. Also made certain I understood the options and took my question and thoughts into consideration. I am very happy with the service I receive from all of the team at Maintain Your Smile.

Negative experience: Saw 3 dentists here and none of them listened to my concerns. Got filling done and she sealed between 2 teeth so I couldn't floss anymore and then when I returned to get it fixed she told me that "theres supposed to be no gap between teeth". Acting like I don't have 30 other teeth and expressing to her that I couldn't get the floss in there anymore. This place is awful. And they charge you 130$ when you same day cancel even if you are legitimately sick/have covid. Go to dental group of rockford instead

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I have been going for years and always outdo everyone else!! I have had two dental "emergencies" in which I needed a quick fix or help w pain. The 1st one Dr. Gibson came through on a Saturday before leaving for a week long trip less than 16 hrs away on a weekend. The 2nd and most recently today...Dr. Halverson squeezed me in within 22 hrs of tooth breaking and got me fixed up in an hr!!! Much thanks to Dr Gibson, Dr. Halverson, and the whole crew including front reception staff, assistants, hygienist, and all the other dentists. Maintain your smile has always been flawless and make every visit simple and efficient!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Maintain Your Smile Dental... I first heard of them via a radio ad. They were looking for Military Vets to help out (FOR FREE). I called them up, was able to get an appoint to be seen quickly and lucky for me, I was picked. They cleaned my teeth, took lots of pictures, and got me set up as a client in their system. I cannot wait to get my next appointment. The facility itself is clean, updated, and charming. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. I really feel like they care about people and enjoy what they do. I will update once I confirm names of who has worked with me directly but literally everyone I've had an encounter with has been wonderful and friendly. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been coming here for two years now after our other dentist retired. We found out that some of the staff from our retired dentist moved over here also because the environment is professional and very considerate towards the patient. They use state of the art devices for recording pictures and X-rays of your teeth and show you exactly what’s going on. No hard sell techniques or quick to fix things that don’t need fixed. They make honest assessments and they take their time doing excellent work. Not your typical corporate dentist practice where you’re just a number. Very professional good people.
