All the staff were kind and attentive towards my 5 year old. The dentist that saw my son was very patient with all of my questions, and took the time to thoroughly explain his scans. I’m happy to have found a great dental practice for my son!

My daughter needed some fillings but she has braces, at first they told me I would have to take her to her orthodontist to remove her wire but then one of the girls said Dr Baley could work on her without removing her wire. My daughter was so happy because she didnt even felt when Dr Bradley did her treatment. He is the best!

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 teen girls here . I switched them from a different dentist because my girls were not happy with the other dentist. Phoenix Pediatrics dental made my girls feel very welcome and they didn't feel judged. Their office is absolutely amazing for younger kids . So almany activities for them to do well they are waiting to be seen both in the front and the back . Not to mention when the kids are finished they get a coin to go get a prize out of the machine. I also loved that they explained every little detail to not only me to to my girls as well . I would definitely recommend anyone with children to go to this dental office..

Negative experience: This specific office at 19 th Ave should be audited I feel that the whole staff must have gotten by with minimal effort in thier schooling. Why would you schedule an appointment make me fill out paperwork about the rules for no show and canceled appointments blaming patients not coming to thier appointments just to be the ones to tell me thier was no appointment scheduled for my daughter . Sounds like the truth is lack of responsibility for losing patients why would we trust an office full of incapable people with our children's safety.

Negative experience: 3rd or 4th visit here for my child, previous visits were okay. But this visit. We had scheduled a month out, at 1030, was told to arrive at 9. 1.5 hours early. Just to sit in the lobby for 2 and a half hours on hard chairs. Finally we were taking to a waiting room in the back with more comfortable benches. Just to wait for another hour and 20 minutes. When it was finally time for my child to go back af 1245. We were made to wait in the lobby yet again, on the crappy lobby chairs. My back is in excruciating pain.

My kids have enjoyed coming here every 6 months for years! As a mom of 4 I recommend this dentistry to all families! One of my children has autism, and Sabrina took her time, made sure he felt comfortable, and got the job done with such care. We truly appreciate her professionalism and compassion. Negative experience: No starts if I could, I had taken my kids here for so long and lately the staff here is so unprofessional and rude. They’re always making mistakes never giving you the right information. Making you waste your time always changing your appointment times. Definitely don’t recommend this place if you can take your kids somewhere else do it. This people don’t care about patients.

Negative experience: Once I went in to receive service for my grandson it was ok. But to get an appointment without the staff messing up the appointment, not scheduling the dentist then I had to wait half a month MORE because of what staff did. Then to argue with them over the phone about if they called my phone and left a message. They called my husband phone (emergency phone for them) instead of my phone number that is FIRST number to call. Who would do something so backwards but someone who ain't trained or trying to mess stuff up on purpose! I told Them they DIDN'T CALL ME. Would I recommend NO! Unless you just need someone fast... Take your kid somewhere else because it to full there. They need to Clean BETTER especially in the overly full room where people are seen at and you have other clients looking at you unless your in a room. I've never had an experience like this and my grandson who has done a good job with letting them in his mouth DOES NOT LIKE IT THERE! It seems this place has issues in this department with similar things like others have mentioned. Y'all in people's mouths and taking they money, you could have a CLEANER PLACE AND BETTER SERVICE AT THE FRONT DESK ESPECIALLY WHEN CALLING YOU FOR SURGERY OR FILLINGS.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist office we have ever been too . We absolutely love this office and our favorite dentist is Galvin Christensen !! He is absolutely amazing . They know how to make kiddos feel so comfortable during cleaning and procedures . My kids have been coming here for about 2 years and I am beyond happy we changed offices . They are absolutely honest when kids do/don’t have cavities . The staff are so amazing welcoming. They all greet you and all have beautiful smiles on their faces. They go above and beyond to make every parent and child feel comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office for sure. 100/10 . I recommend you. God bless

Negative experience: It was an ok experience Doctor is great and medical assistance but front office they to distracted and keep making you wait don't have good customer service billing department was ok Olivia had to step in since the other girl left n consider her bathroom break more important than customer for only this reason am waiting to do the procedure with my son if they don't take consideration on customer first why give them our money when they put us as last

Always making my children feel safe, comfortable and excited to be there. Doctor Gavin is super professional and very prompt with his patients! Kelsea, the assistant, was also equally amazing. Negative experience: I have been coming to this location for almost 13 years. Never really encountered any problems and the office staff are very friendly however my kids never had to have any major procedures besides sealants until now. My daughter was scheduled for 3 crowns and one sealant. The dentist assistant was amazing and I have no complaints of her whatsoever. A few things I will say I did not like is how the Dr left a couple of times while doing the procedure on my daughter to work on other patients. Supposedly they reserve the drs time for my child then why is he leaving my child while “waiting for the local anesthesia to take affect” to attend to other patients. He did this a couple times but the last time he left the room after applying the medicine on her last molar, he didn’t come back for 15-20 minutes. When he started working on my child again she started crying, moaning, tightening her mouth. All this an indication that maybe the medicine was starting to wear off from how long her took to come back and now she was very uncomfortable and maybe with pain. I tried to calm down my child, so did the assistant but the Dr was very inconsiderate and made comments dismissing my child’s pain. Towards the end he even got frustrated at my child’s pain and almost yelled at her “to quit that right now because if you keep moving I’m going to cut your cheek and you will have to go to the hospital”. Her heart rate was very elevated during that whole time as well almost close to 130 and he didn’t seem to care. I was honestly just scared for her well being at that point. I was just thankful and relieved when everything was over and we were able to go home. But now she doesn’t want to go inside a dentist office again & I can’t blame her. So please be careful with your children. Pay extra attention while doing procedures & advocate for your children whenever you feel it’s needed.

Negative experience: I don't feel this place is sanitized properly and the light on cleaning the middle is not world ot burn out, they send text on Sunday to confirm appointment for Monday before noon called before noon to confirm they cancelled my chikd appointment, woth out letting me know, they said most parents are not serious and we need to keep the Doctors time, what about customers time not valid? When they cancel shouldn't they call or text to inform? BBB shall investigatigate them i don't feel they do equal services to all and they don't want me to discuss the issue with the owner either, the supervisor rather than solving the issue try to show she is the ruller. I have their text day and time also my call day and time for proof what I'm complaining about.

Positive experience: Think it is totally unprofessional to not call back a potential new patient opportunity that is experiencing an active infection. Called in the evening, after-hours for the office, and one would expect a call back the next day? Nope. I did receive this text message, so they obviously have my info, but no response via text nor phone call. Their loss, but hopefully the higher-ups evals these reviews and gets the ball rolling on patient care.

Negative experience: DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DENTIST/DOCTOR/ ANESTHESIOLOGISTS Iv EVER SEEN OR HEARD OF. I WOULD GIVE THEM NO STARS IF I COULD. I BROUGHT MY SON AND DAUGHTER HERE. I REALLY LIKED IT AT FIRST. MOST IMPORTANT MY KIDS LIKED IT. WE had a Schedule appointment for anesthesia and dental work and when we get there the anesthesiologists (Dr.M.Walls)came in to talk to us. He is telling me everything hes going to do in front of my child being very detailed. I told him to stop several different times.He was Saying things like he might wake up freaking out or in alot of pain, stuff like that. I was just beside myself. He seemed agitated prior to our appointment, not kid friendly at all. So after he was done we go into the dental room and he has the chair already laid out flat and for some reason my son was treified to lay down so I asked him, "do u mind sitting the chair up so he can sit down and then lay it back and he says he doesn't even have to lay down, grabs the back of his head and holds the mask on his face kinda hard until he's limp. TELLS ME QUICKLY GIVE HIM A KISS AND GO WAIT IN THE LOBBY. I DIDNT LIKE HOW HE WAS RUSHING ME SO I TOLD HIM QUIETLY "U NEED TO LOOSEN UP A BIT I DONT LIKE HOW AGGRESSIVE U ARE BEING WITH MY CHILD AND HE SAID WHAT? SO I REPEATED MYSELF AND HE SAID HES CANCELING, WOKE MY SON UP FROM ANESTHESIA DID NOT DO ANY DENTAL WORK OR GIVE HIM A TOKEN FOR THE PRIZES. HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT HAPPEN. A NURSE WHEELED HIM OUT THE FRONT DOOR and to top it off they called me the next day canceled my daughter's up coming appointment told me they wouldn't be seeing my children anymore and to find somewhere else to go. Am I in the wrong here I should be able to speak my mind these are my children if they cared about their well-being they would have finished the dental work seeing how he was already under anesthesia. THE PROBLEM WITH THE SITUATION HERE IS. THIS WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL And the dentist should have been man enough to handle the situation. HE SHOULD HAVE CAME OUT APOLOGIZED AND RESCHEDULED US FOR A DIFFERENT DAY WITH A DIFFERENT ANESTHESIOLOGISTS. THEY HAD ALREADY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT ANESTHESIOLOGISTS. There is no way on gods green earth I would have let a kid walk out of my office with his teeth as bad as they were. Knowing that the child is in pain. NOW MY SON IS EVEN MORE TERRIFIED HIS TEETH ARE HURTING HIM AND I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE .. UPDATE:: I GOT A CALL FROM THEM SAYING MY SON HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON THE 18TH AND I NEEDED TO CONFIRM BY 2 OR THEY WERE CANCELING IT. I WOULD NOT BRING MY KIDS BACK HERE THIS PLACE IS A JOKE NOT ONLY DO THEY BLOW U UP TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT. THEY WILL INSIST THAT U CALL THEM BACK TO CONFIRM ANA THEY ARE BEYOND RUDE I HAD SEVERAL MISSED CALLS AND 3 MESSSAGES.I CALL THEM BA K TO SEE WHY MY SON HAS AN APPOINTMENT MAYBE THEY GOT A DIFFERENT ANESTHESIOLOGIST . NOPE!! THERE ARE 2 MAIN COMPANIES THESE DENTIST USE FOR ANESTHESIA AND THIS COMPANY AZ DENTAL ANESTHESIA IS USED EVERYWHERE SO BE CAREFUL WHO U LEAVE REVIEWS ABOUT BECAUSE THEY WILL DENY SERVICE TO U COMPLETELY ALSO THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST THAT IM REFERRING TO JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE THE OWNER . This dentist office was suggested to me by other local moms on Facebook and I am really glad I decided to give them a try! The waiting room is very fun and kid friendly. The staff was very kind and patient and great with my son. I was very nervous because at his first dentist appointment (another office) I was instructed to hold him down so they could do the checkup. I was told here that they will never do that and we did not have to because everyone made it a fun experience for him. He got a toy in the middle of the appointment which added to his enjoyment. When we were finished, I asked him if he had fun and he shouted yeah! Something I never would have imagined. So glad to find this place!

Fantastic experience: We switched to PHX Pediatric Dental because they don’t separate the kids from the parents, my oldest son is autistic and they are absolutely phenomenal with him and his needs! Negative experience: I've had two phone calls with these people and already getting bad service. Whoever the girls are answering the phone just seem to hate working there or something. They have no patience, both have had bad attitude and whoever scheduled us told me one time and scheduled a different time. We are driving all the way down from prescott, we'll see how the actual visit goes...

Positive experience: I'll start off by saying if I was just rating the office on their onsite ineractions, I would probably give a 4 or 5 star review. The dental hygienists have always been great and pretty friendly and patient with my kids. I'm giving 3 stars because the front desk or which ever team is responsible for reaching out and making phone calls, all I can say is they're pretty pushy. I'm constantly getting phone calls offering to move up one of my kids already scheduled appointments to an earlier day or time. And I get that they have spots to fill, but even after I give them the easy letdown they still try to push it on you asking if you're sure you can't make it. After I've already said no nicely I get a little irritated when I have to repeat myself. This is happened MULTIPLE times at regular intervals for at least a couple years now it's pretty annoying and I almost want to if ignore their calls Unless I know there's an appointment coming up. Yesterday I got a phone call to confirm my 6yo son's appointment. Today I get a phone call telling me insurance isn't covering the laughing gas due to his age and do I want to pay the sixty something dollars or just use numbing cream. I told her I think I'm gonna have to reschedule so that I can make time to set aside the funds for this unexpected bill. She continued on basically ignoring me to tell me that even if they don't use the laughing gas they'll still use the numbing cream. So I rephrased my answer to be a little bit more direct and told her my sons comfort is my top priority and I'm telling you no I'd like to reschedule. She rescheduled the appointment for me but I could tell she was not happy and immediately disconnected the phone call after I verified the appointment. The staff at this location who work directly with the children are amazing. The front/phone desk staff could use some customer service training in my opinion.

Positive experience: Very good dental place, the dentist did an amazing job. You can go back with your kids, well it depends on the DA you get and if she is in a good mood. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the one DA that seemed bothered that both my husband and I were with my kids. I don't think they should be upset when both parents are in the picture and the same does not apply to them in their personal life. The first time we went though it was amazing! Check in was smooth and even getting scheduled was quick and easy. They are very flexible on appointments and even offer sooner days is they are available without you even calling, very thoughtful! My son felt comfortable with the way the dentist did his work and explained the process as he went. Very sanitized place as well!

Fantastic experience: Each time I am here with my kids, it has been a great experience. Lots of distractions for kids to stay calm and keep their minds positive for a good dentist experience. Very kid friendly. My most recent visit for my 2 year old was incredible, she had to get work done on 4 teeth and the staff, dentist, and anesthesiologist was very good with her. They made sure she was well taken care of and at ease each step of the process. Over my experience was a 10/10.

Telling me the day of my appointment my kids appointment won’t be covered by insurance because of the timeframe telling me you’ve tried to call me to reschedule after I had this appointment for six months and you decide to tell me the day of. Unacceptable after I confirmed just the day before, finally decided to take my business elsewhere after 16 years of being at this place, you can thank yourselves for letting go great stuff over the last years. decided to take the drive to Mesa and visit Dr. West. Negative experience: Experience bad service today. A long waiting time. The assistants thing they solve everything with a sorry for the wait. After x-rays were taken we still waited a long time for the doctor to see my child. Children that arrived after us were seen in and out before us. This was not the doctor’s fault it was the assistants fault.

Fantastic experience: The staff are truly amazing! Today was my son’s first visit and I’m always a little nervous due to him being autistic, but the staff was awesome with him! This was the first time he has ever allowed them to do an Xray. The Xray tech was great with him, you could clearly tell they have a passion for working with children! The dentist Dr. Gavin took the time to go over his xray results and thoroughly explained what needed to be done! It was definitely worth the drive from Maricopa!

Fantastic experience: This is honestly the best pediatric dentist office I have been to. It was very clean and each staff member from the front desk To check out were so nice and helpful. My kids were comfortable with each staff member they have a great system down and the dentist took his time to explain everything that he saw and needed to happen and answered all my questions.

Fantastic experience: My son was petrified to go to the dentist due to a bad experience. The staff was very patient and understanding. This is one of the best dental offices I have ever been to. I will refer anyone asking for a great pediatric dentist.

Positive experience: I took my daughter to this place two weeks ago. I made sure to find this location based on my insurance and has to be in the network. but the front desk failed to tell us that Doctor Gavin was not covered in our network. If you go to this place, please make sure that the provider is covered by your insurance. I spoke with Manager Lez, and I appreciate her. She was very helpful and agreed with me that the front desk has to give options upfront to the patient.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental offices I’ve ever been too and they are so great with the kiddos!! Loooooooooooove THEM ALL!!!

Negative experience: I would never recommend this place! worst front office staff with attitudes. How do they send a text message to confirm an appointment on Monday (Memorial Day) which they are closed to call this morning Tuesday and they already cancelled my sons appointment. Get it together other places you can confirm via text and I couldn't even confirm over the phone being your office was closed they day of the text message. This wouldn't happen at a better time to look elsewhere the office is always so packed with craziness and not very sanitary this is a blessing.

Fantastic experience: Just a truly exceptional practice, putting the patient first, understanding how to make children at ease. I cannot recommend this practice enough, and I switched to this practice after trying some other pediatric dental practices. I will be taking my kids here for as long as they will see them - thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I love bringing my son here. They are super patient with him. He has extreme anxiety when visiting the dentist. They are also super accommodating to his wheelchair and usually can do his treatment without me having to transfer him. They explain everything to him before starting to help ease his nerves.

Fantastic experience: Was able to make an appointment and was seen very quickly (within 2 days). Receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw Dr. Sorenson, he was very nice and addressed all our concerns and made a plan of action catered to us and our circumstances. He was very likeable and made sure we understood everything. Every assistant he had that worked with my daughter was kind and talked with her. Making a follow-up appointment was very easy as well! I would highly recommend this place! Just a tip though, I would totally park in the back lot off Lawrence as the front is small and very tight. Just save the headache!

Fantastic experience: I was reffered here by my son's other dentist and even though it's a bit farther from our house I really like this office. All the staff is very friendly and I like Dr. Gavin a lot, he did a great job with my son who needed a couple of fillings!

Fantastic experience: My family has been going here for 15+ years. They make the experience for my kids so good, they beg to come back. They love getting the tokens. All the dental assistants are very good at their jobs, especially having to deal with multiple kids at one time. I also love that I can get all my kids taken care of at one appt.

Fantastic experience: Love Phoenix Pediatric Dental! Love how they work and the way they treat my children, been with them for about 7 years and have never been disappointed, they explain everything very well and also always have availability In their schedule!

Negative experience: I use to be a former patient here back in 2015. Their work they did was very poorly done. They removed my baby tooth and an adult tooth that they didn't need to remove whatsoever. And had me walking around with a big gap on my top left side. They removed my k-9 and the 4th tooth on far left side.. I felt so insecure that they did this to me. Once the braces came on they never really cut the extra wire that was in the backs and it stabbed the side of my cheek and once stabbed through the skin and was almost sticking outside the cheek wall. Not to mention when I stopped going to them and terminated the visits and had asked if they may remove my braces and we could pay the amount it would take to remove them. You think they would have said yes. No they told me to never step into the dentist office and that they have nothing to do with me and to go elsewhere to get them taken off. I had called and said no one will take me to have them removed and that they had to be the ones to do it. They told me since I terminated they wouldn't take it off for me at all. So I found a place in Gallup, NM that took it off but they advised me to sue this dentistry for not allowing me back to have my braces removed since they put it on and to sue for wrongfully removing an adult tooth that wasn't even suppose to be removed.

Negative experience: Unsatisfied with todays visit, felt like todays appointment took too long. Was the first to come into the office in the morning with my kids and seen about 3 familys in after me and out before. We are talking about a regular cleaning and no special services.

Fantastic experience: I love their dentist office. All the employees are always so understanding and kind. One of the assistants his name was Froy was truly amazing!!! Both my babies are autistic so my biggest thing is always fearing for their safety and the way people will treat them. Froy honestly warned my whole heart from the moment he started interacting with my babies! Gave me and my husband amazing advice on how to accommodate my son's needs when it comes to his dental care. He was so very gentle and kind with my children and respected their boundaries and did what made them comfortable along with explaining step by step what he'd be doing. Thank you for having such an amazing staff, humans like Froy are needed everywhere!
