Fantastic experience: Eva and Dr. Pagan were excellent. The placement of my braces by these two friendly professionals was amazing. It was done so carefully, tenderly that I didn't realize braces were being placed. They took more xrays and photos to ensure proper placement of the braces. They were genuinely concerned about the specifics for my case. I'm 63 years of age and they addressed all of my concerns. I highly recommend Abradental. Their payment plan is reasonably affordable and I'm disabled on a fixed income.

Fantastic experience: Dr Saba is so patient when it came to my fillings and my anxiety. Her assistant Laurie is also as sweet and helpful so I definitely recommend this dentist. Thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but great experiences each and every time I have visited abra. I just visited this Saturday and the Saturday before both times I was in and out and both times the staff was very attentive and informative. I was asked to leave a review during my second visit but I briefly want to talk about both visits. All the staff was super friendly and I wish I knew more names of the people who assisted me but I didn’t catch their name when they greeted me but they definitely introduced themselves so that’s my bad. But I’ll try to be as descriptive as I can so you can they can know who i am referring to, hopefully it helps. My first visit I went for a standard cleaning, I had X-rays taken, the tech I don’t know her name brown skin girl, short, (I am 5’4 she was shorter than me) I believe she had on red shoes or shoe covers but she was very nice and very professional. X-rays were quick and painless. She had done my X-rays previously and the experience was the same. She’s great. The team who cleaned my teeth were also very nice, the doctor who came after was funny, joked about my playboy phone case, she had great energy. She sounded middle eastern, maybe. But again I dont know her name. She informed me I had a cavity and so I made an appointment to come back. During my second visit which was the following week I needed a filling and the week prior had a consult and decided to get braces. I want to shout out the team who worked on my braces they did an amazing job. I was very nervous to get them but the procedure was very quick and painless overall. Both of the women that worked on my braces were very nice. The one that actually applied the braces and did the bonding was very sweet and patient even though I kept letting the suction tube fall out, so thank you to her for that. After the braces I headed up stairs for the filling and these are the only two names I remember lol because they asked me to leave a review which was Marley and Dr. Paris. Great team, Marley was very friendly from the start he was very nice. Dr. Paris was very nice and friendly as well. She explained step by step as she worked on my filling, it was very quick and painless even though it was wayyy in the back of my mouth. She made sure that I was feeling comfortable and that the filling was properly smoothed out. Thanks again for the great experiences and thank you to the whole abra team, you guys are great!

Fantastic experience: I had an infected root canal , and dying from pain all night I called first thing 9am and they removed my rotten tooth . With no appointment. So grateful and I feel much better . Thank You for taking care of me the pain was unbearable

Negative experience: I hope this review reaches you all. Like many of you, I am more than impressed with the cleanliness, reviews, and appearance of this office. I had heard from children, adults, and friends raving about this place. Long wait times seem to be normal or tolerated in this day and age, but I cannot accept my experience. TLDR: I had a complex wisdom tooth extraction and the stitches came out about two hours later. I was told to return the day of, waited for an hour for (literally) nothing to be done. When they made an emergency appointment for the next day, it was a total no-show (the building was closed and no one came for an hour). I have yet to hear from them and am risking intense infection in my jaw, dry socket, and a wound for life. - MORE DETAILS- I scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction for 10/1. Days before, I came down with a cold (intense coughing, phlegm, and sneezing). I alerted the office to try for a later appointment, but they recommended I come anyway since the next available surgery date would be in November. Despite the warnings from medical forums, I came in and had Dr. Dirienzo extract an impacted tooth. With Dr. Dirienzo, I was given IV sedation for the removal of only one tooth (a lower risk than having multiple removed when my body was fighting a cold). I was awake throughout the entire procedure despite the IV sedation. While the process was painless, it was incredibly nerve-wracking because I could hear the cutting, feel the tooth being pulled, see the stitches going in, and see all the bloodied instruments above me. Ironically, the dentists were laughing uncontrollably. At least they were at ease. I was left unattended right after the extraction and during the recovery period. I don't really mind this part, but you might. I will briefly put here that when I spoke to a dentist about healing despite my cold/coughing, she suggested that the antibiotics might help with the cold. Antibiotics don't fix viral illnesses. At home, I followed the instructions closely and took many precautions to eliminate the chance of coughing/jostling my mouth. I barely drank and changed my gauze once. That's when I noticed that there was a long thread floating around my mouth. I ask my sister, who works in the hospital's OR, if she could check the stitches. By now, my partner has already called Abra Dental asking if my stitches are supposed to have an extra two inches sitting in my mouth. They said it was completely normal. It didn't take long for my sister to see that the stitches were undone and the wound was opening. She calls the office again, and they set an appointment for the same day at 2pm. When we figured out they wanted us to go to the Adult Dentist floor (not the Oral Surgery floor), we waited. I am called in and wait literally an hour for a general dentist to come in. She asks me to explain my issue, checks my mouth and tells me she cannot do anything. She will not work on another person's work even if its risking infection. I am moreso appalled by her bedside manner. She said she would put in gauze and cut the stitch so it doesn't get tugged on. She seemed entirely disgusted by the open wound, the used gauze, and subtly blames me for the issue because I "shouldn't have switched the gauze." They scheduled an emergency appointment for the next morning with Dr. Dirienzo at 7am. I confirmed the appointment immediately and went to Abra Dental at 7am. I waited about half an hour past the appointment time. They did not accept calls, the lights were off, the doors were locked. I left a voicemail and have received no response. So, allow me to be clear when I say: LISTEN to the reviews saying the office is disorganized. They get a star for Dirienzo's amazing bedside manner, efficient work. Stitches come undone, it happens. But this total negligence is unacceptable. I had so many hopes, but as my partner points out, most of the complaints are towards customer service and the general dentists.

Fantastic experience: Dr Iyanna and Eva are the best Dr. Iyanna ☀️ is always professional and gentle. Got a feeling and a crown done and didn’t feel a thing. Can you believe it Eva the nurse is so fantastic as well very kind very gentle highly recommended y’all go get your grill done.

Negative experience: My daughter reccived braces and since then, it has been an absolute nightmare. We had to come back multiple times for them to fix her braces. On top of this, I've been trying to schedule a follow up visit for mantince. For the last couple of months. However, the staff has been very rude and unwilling to accommodate both my daughter and i schedule. I've asked multiple times for a Saturday or evening appointment , but both request were denied. I also requested for a supervisor or manager to call me back and nothing. Now they're refusing to set an appointment until I pay the balance for her braces. A balance that would have never occurred ,if they kept her original appointment. So, they won't fix her braces but is demanding payment? Truly horrible service!!!

Fantastic experience: Marley & Dr.Paris were so kind, Dr.Paris took her time with my fill ins and made sure I was comfortable! Especially with the local anesthesia provided! First time impression is everything and she definitely made a good one. Marley was a gentlemen and filled part of his DA duties and was able to walk me to the front desk and help me book my next appointment ( with Keliana ! And she was sweet also <3 ) so far so good with Abra Dental and the staff

Positive experience: This place is clean and modern. They did a great job with the esthetics but the staff is wonderful as well. We went in, checked in and waited a little but they had a great play area. The whole experience went really well for my 4yo. They also have parking and you can complete your paperwork before u come in.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I have ever been to! First, the office and waiting areas are huge and immaculate! Staff is so friendly and they always explain everything so you completely understand what is going on. Not to mention, they cater to cowards like me! I am sooooo afraid of the dentist. I have had horrible experiences at other dentists offices. I used to go to Bayonne Family Dental at 711 Avenue C in Bayonne. I had a panic attack during a root canal after feeling the nerve being pulled out. I told Dr Hussain I wanted her to stop and that we can finish another day. She just continued to work on my root canal saying she didn't want to waste her time. Needless to say I was looking for a new dentist. Here at Abra Dental, they told me issues I was having with my bridge. My old dentist told me that there was nothing wrong and it's all in my head. Abra Dental has been so thorough with me. And they are so kind, compassionate and they have empathy for their patients. I feel SO safe when I'm dealing with the staff at Abra. I'm actually looking forward to getting the work I need done and to have a more beautiful smile when they're done with me. If you're afraid of dentists, or are looking for a new dentist office don't hesitate to contact Abra Dental. I can't express enough how amazing they have been with me. I know other people who have gone to them also and have had nothing short of an amazing experience & not to mention their smiles look AMAZING! I was so impressed, I'm starting to take my daughter there as well. I tell everyone about the wonderful service they show every single patient. I really made the right choice with them.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Abra dental is definitely a great one. Way better than my previous dentist Bayonne Family Dental. When I was with them I felt all the pain during my fillings. At this dentist I don’t feel a thing and they actually make you feel comfortable during your procedure as well. The chairs even have a massager which I did not know about very nice touch. Eva is a very good dental assistant she is the one who did my e-day and made me feel comfortable even introduced me to the messages chair haha. Dr. Jennifer Tran did a very good with my crown and made sure it was in place securely. Definitely recommend everyone go to this dentist if they can!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here for about three or four years and have always had a good experience. The staff are consistently polite and easygoing. I’m guilty of never leaving a review, but after today’s visit, I really felt like I needed to! I was seen by Dr. Peris and her assistant, Laurie, and I have to say—they were incredible! While I’ve never had a bad experience, being cared for by these two was truly a pleasure. They were polite, kind, attentive, and explained what they were doing every step of the way. I’m not great with needles (honestly, who is?), but in all my years as a patient here, this was the first time I didn’t feel uncomfortable or experience much pain during a prick. I couldn’t thank them enough for making me feel so at ease, knowing how uneasy I usually am with needles. If I could request them for every appointment, I absolutely would! Thank you again, ladies, for being so wonderful during my visit.

Fantastic experience: My child is autistic and they were very good with her. She took her time and kept talking to her while she did the work and it kept my child nice and calm.

Negative experience: Here my thing the waiting time is way too long I go there plus my daughter my experience was that one of the newest doctor did a filling on my tooth 32 put the fill in on the nerve which could paralyze my face. I didn’t have the money for the root canal. They had to pull the tooth and then when I came back to complain, they told me the Doctor No longer worked there mind you I was on so much pain now my 4 year old daughter still go there but today had to leave due to the waiting time is way too long one hour. It was terrible. They need to do better. It’s a great location, but it’s just too many bad things that happened in there. For me

I personally prefer Dr. Princy because she literally explains everything to you and doesn’t just half ass her work. 10/10 love doctors who don’t say you need a filling after looking at an xray for 10 seconds

Fantastic experience: The experience was phenomenal. I was assisted by highly rated professionals. The reception is Brenda. Welcome me as soon as I arrive and make my visit comfortable. Then I will be assisted by Tye, who will make sure I am comfortable and relaxed before my visit with the doctor. Lastly, I would like to thank Dr. Choi for being able to truly help me with the pain I’ve been experiencing. He also told me about the procedures and precautions I would have to take. He explained it in a simple yet easy format. I’m now doing fine with no regrets that I visited this establishment.

Fantastic experience: My child had their tooth extracted today and Dr Suhn and her assistant Maya were so soothing. They also filled in a cavity and we were literally there for all of 30mins. I highly recommend Abradental for your child’s dentistry needs.

Fantastic experience: Angie & Dr. Tran did my cleaning today she was very nice and thorough. She explained what she was doing and why. She gave me recommendations on how to clean certain areas better and constantly asked if i was okay during the procedure. Eva and Dr. Kim did my braces also great service. Both very kind and attentive answering any questions I had. Overall very good dental clinic I personally love them and I highly recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: Angie and DrPrincy & Hyg Monique took care of me today. I have nothing bad to say. They did a great job and explained everything I needed to know. They were all so nice! I’ve had bad experiences at the dentist before and I have to say this might have been the best visit. So happy with everything!

Negative experience: I had a really good experience with Tye and Dr. Steven. Smooth and easy! This is a great dental office and I recommend them to anyone! Just want to highlight that please don’t ask patients when they are sedated to write the review. I would write the review when I’m in full conscious, I remember the assistant asking if me I can write the review and they took the phone to write the review. Maybe I gave the permission to type it but I’m not fully aware of my surroundings.

Fantastic experience: i LOVE this office. I was seen for an exam and cleaning ismael made the process easy. Gemara T took my x-rays it was so fast and quick , she made me feel SUPER comfortable. I was seen in the room by Roxana, the hygienist Monique and Dr Rosario. ALL were super attentive and welcoming. Monique took her time with the cleaning and was so gentle. Dr. Rosario did a very thorough exam. AMAZING experience. Thank you.

Dr. pagan explained everything throughly! Also I appreciate Dr.Randa for taking care of my esthetics and making my crown look to my perfection!! Positive experience: I come here often because my orthodontist is located here, and for the past six months, it’s been great overall. Dental cleanings are thorough, and the staff on the orthodontist side are lovely — I’ve never had a negative experience with them. I see Dr. Hansuk Kim, who is very informative, always answers my questions, and keeps me on track with my treatment plan. The team who puts on my wires and bands is also great - most recently I had Paelna, and she was awesome. My only qualm/issue has been with the receptionists. Not all of them, but unfortunately, most of my negative experiences have been with that front desk team. A couple of months back, I confirmed my appointment via email. I missed their call, and when I tried calling back, the voicemail was full :) Upon arriving for my appointment, I was told it had been canceled because “confirmation has to be by phone.” In my opinion, confirming is confirming, whether by email or phone call. Time is valuable and this could inconvenience anyone’s day. More recently, I’ve noticed that while you check in on the iPad and wait to be called, if you have a question, some receptionists will SEE you standing there, not acknowledge you, finish their side conversation with a coworker, and then finally tend to you. Again, not all receptionists - but the vast majority lack professionalism as well as basic client service skills.
