Fantastic experience: The dental experience is a wonderful dental practice! Their customer service and their patient care is top-notch. I had a dental emergency my old dentist could not get me a appointment in a realistic timeframe. The dental experience got me an appointment. Dr. B met with me and discussed my options. Dr. Tweet and his assistant did an excellent job made the process as painless and quick as possible. They also have new and modern facilities and equipment. It was definitely a five star experience!

Negative experience: Horrible place to go! The dental assistant had a major attitude and they are not cheap. Being there with all the generic modern designs can tell you they are all about that money. They will try to sell you credit to get anything done. I need a deep cleaning $1200 for each side of my mouth. Do not go Buyer beware!

Negative experience: 10/10 do not reccomend this place. The Dentist made a poor decision of not doing a root canal. My tooth is in need of a root canal and instead of fixing it - he referred me to a specialist. I paid for a crown and for him to clean my tooth to just end up having to pay additional money for another root canal? I had my tooth fixed and felt pain 2 weeks after. Im now needing to pay to have extra work done. The staff here are also not kind. The managers hung up on me. Staff are unprofessional and talk about patients where they can hear them. This place had the aduacity to call me and ask if I wanted to go back. No. I. Dont.

Fantastic experience: We just love the Dental Experience. After spending the last 34 years in Germany, it’s the closest I’ve come to the excellent care I received over there. There’s only one difference, you’re nicer.

Positive experience: Every one very helpful and kind. Staff and Dr. B answer your questions and go over and above to help you out.

Positive experience: Not a practical arrangement for hard of hearing people. Bad acoustics. Staff face the computer and talk away from the client while the client faces the opposite wall.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go. They got me in to see the Dentist in about an hour! My front tooth broke right at the gum line. I was so sad! I was going out of town for a family reunion in two days. Dr. Tweet calmed me down and reassured me he would get my a temporary fix by 30:00PM the net day And just as he said, I was given a retainer with the exact same tooth attached. They even showed me how to put it on and take it off. It looks so good. Go here

Negative experience: Went in for a emergency. Nothing done besides being poked at and already told what I knew then not being able to schedule to come back unless you pay up front. They obviously don't care about the patient just the money. Go somewhere that cares

Positive experience: There was a bit of delay with my appointment. Things were running behind. I was willing to wait and the hygienist apologized for the delay. I understand when things are beyond my control. Seemed like they were beyond her control as well.

Negative experience: Most have pleasant experiences here, I hoped I would to. Instead a preventable nightmare that some of the girls find amusing, the dentists not too concerned with. I went here for a second opinion after an unpleasant experience at my prior dentist. I saw the reviews and services I desire and decided to set an appointment. First appointment was friendly but focus was entirely on trying to upsell, most of which exceed the coverage limits of insurance. Some of it I am interested in, in time. Its like they missed actual concerns bothering me solely focused on selling me as many services as they could. As they realized I didnt have the ability to see a dentist 20 times in a year, the concern continued to diminish further. I paid for a whole mouth exam so we could go over not just the tooth in pain but all of them. My prior dentist of a few years work seems to always have issues. The dentist focus was on wanting to redo my existing crown. It wasnt put on the best, I agree but I need the focus this year to be on issues actually hurting me currently. He seemed to check out mentally after I told him I didnt have the days for all that this year and was out of the room moments later. Never even finished going over the other teeth. I was very insulted as their fee for this service exceeds my insurance which has never happened to me anywhere else I go. I paid it but practically hustled me. I already knew I needed a route canal. I wanted the prior dentists work checked and to review those teeth. As far as I can tell I seen The Dental Experience for a feeler so they could see how much they could dig into my pockets. Once they realized its just a couple appointments at best for now, Im getting horrible service. Now Im stuck in a very bad and painful situation that was preventable had they taken my first appointment seriously. I understand business but not zero concern for the situation I am stuck in after trusting them that I wouldnt need an antibiotic. Ive called numerous times today since they opened and have been given the run around. Ive already been to ER they keep saying I need to get to a dentist but the dentist just doesnt take this seriously. Definitely not the kind of place you want for emergencies. My face is swelling and firming up around my entire jaw and getting harder to breathe and swallow and I could literally hear the amusement from the girls on the other end. Very unprofessional. After I wrap up this situation Im stuck in, highly unlikely I will ever return. Ill be surprised if they even have the decency to still do this work and do it right now that they have taken it this far. I should of never had to go through what I just did and while they didnt do the initial shotty work, they surely didnt take it serious despite it being an emergency situation. I need professionals who understand my oral health history and arent in it solely for the money. Very hard to find people with integrity anymore. There is a total lack of concern for my current situation or the pain level. They confirmed I needed a route canal but said I didnt need an antiobiotic. I knew better from past experiences but Im not the dentist. This place is blinded by greed and you should trust your gut when going here and not their words. Or you might end up in an ER room with their dentist too busy to be concerned and their staff finding it amusing when you keep calling because ER is practically useless for dental problems. Truly disgusting behavior if Im being honest but Ive tried to be tolerant. After the immaturity and lack of concern shown today, my patience for it is gone. I just wish I wasnt stuck halfway through this situation before finding out the kind of people I chose to give a chance. Im glad it worked out for others. I must not have the right last name around town or something to get the same kind of service. I am at a loss for words that these dentists are ok with providing this kind of service. I would be ashamed if I partook in anything like what just happened to me especially while collecting money to do so.

Negative experience: After leaving my review, Dr. B called me. He threatened me with a lawsuit and insinuated I would only get treatment if I removed the review as he didnt feel comfortable. Mind you Im suffering through an absess tooth because they didnt give me any antibiotics and now this is the game he plays as I suffer. When I refused to remove it, he then proceeded to try to bait me into threatening him and/or saying a variety of things. He was clearly just projecting his feelings as I could hear his anger as I wouldn't bow to his bullying. Ive not threatened or been rude to anybody nor do I have any interest. Ill just go back to my other dentist or find another. This guy cost himself a lot of business. Ive been very tolerant despite his behavior. The oddest most disturbing behavior Ive ever witnessed from a professional. He continued to dive deeper into his lies and start saying he was going to tell his lawyer I threatened his staff. It is painfully obvious he is desperate to control reviews and will employ a lawyer to try to intimidate you. I hope this lawyer is willing to lose his law license because he will be putting it on the line to fabricate a lawsuit against innocent patients. This is some of the craziest stuff Ive ever seen from a dentist office. Make sure your lawyers are notified prior to any visit here. Because if you dare to not leave a good review, beware of what happens next.

I’ve had the pleasure to be under the care of Cassie and she’s phenomenal. She’s Super enthusiastic and hospitable. She really takes pride in her work and her passion for helping people shows true. The Dental Experience really has a great member on their team with Cassie.

Negative experience: Never got the referral so I could get my crown done. Suppose to send in email.

Positive experience: Well the dreaded lack of communication raised its head again here. Nothing was done. I thought one thing and they planned something entirely different. Then the discussion about cost began. Wanted full payment before setting a date for the work to be done. If using a credit card added a 4%increase in the fee. No work done today, just a shocking program of later alligator.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for many years, but went for a cleaning yesterday and had Hope as my hygienist. She was excellent! Her aquatic teeth cleaning was the best I have ever had and tips on flossing my tight teeth were very helpful. She fits right into your practice of the best care possible for your patients. Just thought you should know she is a "keeper".

More than once they've had the opportunity to benefit from expensive procedures that I asked about (periodotal cleaning, capping a tooth and re-doing a root canal recommended by my former dentist) but they told me I didn't need any of them. I'm very impressed with their honesty, friendliness, knowledge, and patience. I have NO problem highly recommending The Dental Experience. First review: My husband and I have been searching for a dentist for a couple of years now since our last dentist office closed. So far we really like everyone here. No pushing procedures on us. Everyone seems patient and willing to take time to explain things. Hopefully we've found our new dental office!

Fantastic experience: As a seasoned restorative dentist, Dr. Frederick has been my trusted provider for my entire adult life. (I am 73) By leveraging his innovative expertise and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements, he consistently provides me with personalized dental care and optimal treatment outcomes.

Negative experience: Tried for 3 months to get an appointment to get a tooth fixed. They said they needed my insurance to pre authorize the treatment. My insurance company assigned a specialist to get the approval. They were told the service was covered completely, but still refused to schedule me. Continued to say it was so I didn’t have any surprise costs. They had no problem doing the new patient visit or taking my $25 deposit for my cleaning. Finally, after too much neglect on their part, my tooth broke off completely. This office still continued to refuse me service for this tooth, which gave me no choice but to go elsewhere to have it surgically removed. I had to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement from my insurance, which could’ve been done here at The Dental Experience as well. They just absolutely refused to do anything besides preventative work for me. For an office that claims to have all the specialists and can do everything in house, that totally dropped the ball here!!! As I’m sure you can imagine, I had to find a real dentist office capable of fixing teeth. I tried for for 3 months and still waited 2 full weeks for them to send me a check for the ACH deposit that they could’ve returned the same day and same way I paid it. Also, as added information, this place doesn’t accept cash at all. Must have quite the business to refuse people and money. Good luck getting any dental work here!!!

Fantastic experience: Today I went to Dental Experience for my second crown to be done. I had to have a crown done by a different Dental Place redone. I tell you this Dr.B is absolutely the BEST. He undid the bad job done. He and Deb showed me the before and after. Talk about doing a Great Job! Man did he. My tooth looked amazing. With He had to do to fix the mess under the badly done crown everyone I didn't have one tiny bit of pain when the numbness wore off NONE. Looking for a Great Dental Experience Dr.B and Deb are the team you want. The whole office is full of the Kindest people.

Fantastic experience: The Dental Experience was just that. The facility was very beautiful snd comfortable. The reception was very modern and up to date. It had 2(two) TV's mounted so that it was able to be seen from every angel. The X-Ray tech was very pleasant. All of the machines were the latest and i appreciated that they were designed to reduced the exposure to radiation. My teeth were examined by the Hygienist followed by the Dentist. I was very pleased with the way i was asked if he could show me the x-rays so that we could discuss the options. I was very pleased and i would highly recommend them for anyone who meed gr a basic cleaning. To gain back a smile that you thought was gone forever. They have various options to help you accomplish your goals. Gail .

Negative experience: Never going again, they broke 2 of my teeth, the assistant continued to drop things on my face. Plastic was left between my teeth. They folded my gum in between my teeth and I left with a bloody mouth because of it.

Negative experience: Avoid. (1) I have good teeth and have had radiation treatments for cancer, so I don't need or want unnecessary x-rays. After explaining this, multiple staff members still put on heavy pressure for the x-rays. I refused. They made me sign a form to waive them of responsibility (insane, no other dentist has ever done this to me). When the dentist showed up to do the exam, he was literally angry at me, and told me he "couldn't" examine my teeth without x-rays. He looked in my mouth for 2 seconds, then walked out of the room. I've never experienced such rude behavior. (2) Also, I made an appt with one doctor, and when I checked in, I even confirmed he was the one I'd be seeing. Nope. I never saw that one. Instead, they pulled a bait and switch and I got some rude man with a nasty attitude. I guess he was a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I normally get nervous about being at the dentist. My very 1st time here and they were awesome! Very welcoming, friendly and professional. My new dentist for sure.

Fantastic experience: Due to a dental emergency, I contacted TDE due to wonderful referrals. I had an appointment to get checked out within a couple hours, and they were able to squeeze me in for a procedure that was needed. Everyone I encountered was very knowledgeable and professional. Additionally, they all showed compassion and empathy. I had no surprises for billing and they were easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: So pleased that we found this state-of-the-art dental practice in Jackson, MI, our home town, that accepts our insurance. We were able to get appointments within a week! The entire staff was competent, informative and friendly. Would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I called to schedule a cleaning. They scheduled me and I took half a day off and hired a babysitter. When I got there they didn’t call me back until 50 mins later. And then they told me they couldn’t do a cleaning and I HAD to get my left side root scaling done before I could do a routine cleaning which was going to cost me about $300. The scheduling staff didn’t tell me ahead of time or I would have scheduled a different time and taken more time off. Waste of PTO and paying the babysitter to go home with nothing except a toothbrush.

I came in for an emergency thing and was thoroughly impressed. I left with a whole smile that I hadn't been able to do in days.

Fantastic experience: i had a tooth ache on weekend, and i called my dentist (ASPEN DENIAL) and they told me it would be four days before they could get me in. I was in pain, so i called all the dentist I could find, on Sunday, when the pain got worst. DENTAL EXPERIENCE got me in on Monday, with out any questions. They excepted my insurance, and all is well now. the staff is friendly, the building is beautiful and tv's on ceiling to watch while they work on you......

Negative experience: Avoid at all cost. I went here with an old cavity that had came loose. They sent me somewhere else for the roof canal. That was fine, paid for what my insurance wouldn't cover and no worries. Went back to the dental experience, they told me that even though the root canal was done and they hadn't said anything before. I had to pay what the insurance wouldn't cover up front. Again not a big deal or anything. Paid them. Have a receipt showing paid in full. 9 months later they billed me for $800. When I looked into it, they didn't fully bill the insurance up front. Instead tried stringing it out and when the insurance company caught their scam they quit paying. Absolutely lied about everything. I paid up front and now you want to threaten to take me to court? Every receipt I have shows paid in full. My insurance company said they will back me. Either drop it or please let me know when I can embarrass you in court. Instead of having a fake lawyer call me making threats on the first call. You should be embarrassed and ashamed of how you operate this business. I will admit they responded to this quickly and will update based on what they do. If this was a simple mistake and they fix it. I'd go back, continue paying for services before completion. Possibly. The way McGraw law firm has acted makes it hard to believe that they will. Finger's crosses at least and hoping this is resolved! Update. They called twice while I was at work and left message about how many attempts they have made. Both times. Also looked into it even more. It was 12 months after my visit before they billed me. Does that sound like a business you want to deal with? 8/13/24. Still haven't heard anything. McGraw Law firm, who sound like angry teenagers when threatening you but being embarrassed by receipts finally quit calling. Now it's been two years of harassment for your mistake. Not even an apology? Even better McGraw law firm is now out of business. This place is such a joke their lawyers can't afford to stay in business. 2/26/25. Still haven't heard anything from this scam pretending to be a dentist. But they finally stopped with the collection calls. If you love be harassed for paying, then being harassed for having paid the bill, and finally threatened by lawyers who don't know anything. The dental experience is the place for you!!! But if you care about your teeth and actually expect to pay to improve them. Avoid this place! They will wave a light over your teeth and charge for an entire cleaning. Best thing they could do is close the doors and find a job they can actually perform.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office (the dental experience) and seen Dr. B. I had a serious problem with a temporary crown that a local dentist office was attempting to put in. It had fallen out 3 times. I did not realize that a person could get a crown the same day. I got that same Day crown. I would highly recommend Dr. B. And his staff for a professional experience. Clean state of the art technology and very clean environment. Thank you so much Dr. B.

Fantastic experience: Holly was very professional and good at her job. She was friendly explained everything and gave me positive feedback on my teeth. I was very happy with her work . hope to have her every time!

Negative experience: As a new patient, I found the administrative services to be a disaster. I was very disappointed that my insurance was not checked for coverage or that I was not made aware that the xrays or dentist's exam would not be be covered when I checked in. I spent three hours after the office visit working with the Insurance Company to convince your office staff, who outsources this critical aspect of your service, that our insurance plan is covered. I spent over 30 minutes in the chair waiting for the dentist to do his exam. The dental care team was pleasant and the dental service was adequate with good potential. For now, I am hoping that the dental care far outweighs the lack of service from the administrative staff. We are former patients of Spring Arbor Dental (which was '5 Star-Excellent' in all aspects) and your location is convenient. I would not recommend this dentist to a friend.

Positive experience: I went in for a second opinion on an issue. I am considering transferring to The Dental Experience in the future. Office is bright, staff are personable and efficient. My only concern is the amount of time I had to wait for the dentist...almost an hour. I was told that this was due to seeing me on short notice. Hopefully if I do transfer, this won't be a continuing issue. Thanks for seeing me!

Negative experience: This place is predatory in their billing policies. I urge anyone interested in using this dentist to find another option. I was sent a bill 4 months after my service saying I now somehow magically owe them more money, when they won’t even work on you until you pay the full amount. When I called to get an explanation I was met with hostility for even attempting to ask what was going on.
