They fit me in for a last minute appt when a veneer came off, they caught a dental issue that a previous dentist missed, they’ve taken time to fit night guards just exactly right, have made my 11 year-old daughter feel more relaxed and reassured when she had to have a filling, and always make sure to clearly explain each and every charge and insurance coverage. I can’t say enough awesome stuff about this practice!! ❤️

Went today to get my night guard and as always the staff are soooooooooo!! friendly and pleasant when you come in the door you see nothing but smiles. The Hygentist that made sure my night guard would fit properly was awesome. She gave me the dos and donts necessary to make sure I understood how to properly Take care of the night guard. He is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable with what his suggestions are and the care you need. I feel that doctor Clayton is a very honest man and I trust him implicitly to give me the best advice I need to take care of my dental care. What I would like to add is his staff is outstanding. They make me feel completely comfortable when I come in and that is a big issue with most people because a lot of people are afraid to go to the dentist. Misty who has worked at the front desk since I have been going there is also very good. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone and I have. Great job Dr. Clayton.

Negative experience: I paid them to remove a tooth in the back of my mouth. As Dr. Clayton was doing it, the tooth broke and he said he got it all out. About 3 weeks later, I was having terrible pain in my jaw and come to find out it was part of the tooth that he "supposedly removed". He was on vacation and his partner removed the shard that was left by the botched tooth pull. Now they are sending me bills for it. They think if they mess up that they will make you pay more for a job that you already paid them to do.... Even if they don't do it right the first time ... Clayton Dental .. where you pay for their mistakes.

Fantastic experience: This was a first visit with Dr. Clayton and his staff. I have to say the staff and Dr. Clayton was the best!!!!! My hygienist (MB) was so gentle while cleaning my teeth and explained everything she did. Dr. Clayton is the nicest Dentist I have ever been to; he explained an upcoming visit which calmed my fears. :) I have found my new dentist and his wonderful staff.

I came for a second opinion, and needed an estimate to compare costs to the quote I received from another dentist in Old Hickory. Clayton Dental Group beat the price by more than $2000! That’s pretty significant. They’ve got my business.

Positive experience: I knew I had an infected tooth. The assistant, who was wonderful, asked if I wanted it pulled. The dentist was very competent and made me feel at ease. I left a message from home that there was still a lot of blood and what can I eat. No one called back.

Until I had a terrible experience with my last dentist making it where I never wanted to go to the dentist again. I went to Clayton dental with low expectations and expected to be in pain.
