Fantastic experience: Amazing to meet Dr. David! He came in with the issue and made a plan to solve it. The facility was very clean and even the smell of the place is very calming as you’re in the waiting room. Also the prices are really good compared to some other places that wanted almost 2x to 3x. I’m not the type to go to dentist but this place made me feel comfortable enough to come back and recommend others. I’ll be getting my wisdom teeth out so I will make a follow up.

Negative experience: DO NOT visit this dental clinic! My son went in for a routine cleaning and was told he had 2 cavities. I'm guessing they saw that he had great insurance. They immediately attempted to pressure him into an expensive treatment. I had him seek a second opinion, and as it turns out, he has no cavities. I later learned that my nephew experienced the same issue. These people are unbelievably shady. It's shocking that they would have gladly performed 2 root canals on my son's perfectly healthy teeth...all so that they can make a few bucks.

And my partial is very cheaply done. I enjoyed Judith. But I saw through the whispering and fake personalities. I have made up my mind to move in another direction for dental care.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Crystal Creek Dental services for many years. Since coming back to the Plano office on Hedgcoxe I was seen by Dr David Anifowose on several occasions and have been very well taken care of. He let me know which teeth were problems and what procedures were needed. The office has payment options available. I can only say a big thank you to all the people who work there.

Fantastic experience: I was very happy with the cleaning I got today. I came in for a New Patient Cleaning and this was my first dental appointment in years embarrassingly enough. I have had a stains on two of my upper teeth for years even before I lost my previous dentist because of the pandemic. These stains had always been a problem and I was embarrassed to smile for years because of them. And they got them off! I couldn't be happier with my smile right now. There is still a bit of work to be done, but I'll happily come back no matter how far I have to drive. Not to mention the team is very kind and willing to explain everything that's going on.

Fantastic experience: Great first experience as a new patient. Was greeted by the office manager Egla, welcomed me with the huge smile & offered water while i waited. Haven’t had a cleaning in over 2 years & the hygienist Mufed made me feel super comfortable. No pain whatsoever & made sure I was not in any discomfort . Dr.David did a thorough check of everything & made sure to answer any concerns I had. Started my invaslign journey , the assistant Judith was very fast & efficient with the scanning process. Most definitely will be coming back!

Negative experience: Not only this dental office refused to provide a refund after overpayment, but they also billed all the services for myself and my family members under Dr. An Q Le (owner or head dentist of Prime Dental) as the treating provider when the procedures and oral exams were rendered by associate dentists (Dr. Hani Matti, Vinh D Nguyen, Idowu Akinyele and David Anifowose). Their billing tactics are considered fraudulent per insurance guidelines and The Texas board of Dental examiners, and I have filed a formal complaint against their deceptive business practices. Dr. Akinyele placed bone graft and implant in November 2024 after an extraction and advised me to take vitamin D to help the healing. The procedures went well, and I did not experience pain. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment to see Dr. Akinyele in mid-February 2025. Unexpectedly, the front desk canceled the appointment, and it was scheduled for another day of the week. Fast forward to the appointment day, Sofia informed me that Dr Akinyele was no longer with the practice, and I would be seeing Dr. David. When he examined the area, he stated it did not look good, and I would need to have more bone graft and pay a new fee. Sofia came to the exam room with $1000 treatment plan (she was trying to bill my insurance for the crown that was quoted last year by the office manager) which I immediately complained about it since I had already paid nearly $2000 on the day of the surgery. Despite she changed the price to $250, I was not happy but had no other options. Not only Dr. David extracted the implant placed by the previous dentist, but he also placed more bone graft and stiches while seeing other patients. I was left with a gauze in my mouth waiting for him to finish with other patients, that was not acceptable. I was scheduled to come back in 30 days to see if he could place the implant. After two post-surgery appointments, he had determined that I had significant bone loss, and an implant could not be placed. Since he also mentioned my case was difficult to him and other dentists, I asked him why Dr. Akinyele and the office manager wrote an implant treatment plan at the first place, and he could not answer me. Although he suggested removing the surrounding tooth and placing two crowns on my other teeth for a bridge in the previous appointment, I would get a second opinion from another provider. Lastly, I asked the office manager for the refund, and she told me that her billing department does not work on Fridays (Crystal Creek billing department is Dr. An Q Le) and would take a few days to get back to me for the refund amount. Although I paid them in timely manner, the office does not provide refunds after I showed them the EOB statement. Their strategy is to keep the overpayment funds as credit for future treatment, which is very unethical. UPDATE: The office manager called me to let me know Dr. David had a note on my profile that I have a vitamin D deficiency, and the refund would be a small portion amount paid. It will take 3-4 weeks to receive the check. Dr. David wrongly assumed that I had a vitamin D deficiency because I told him that Dr. Akinyele had advised me to take vitamin D, but he did not allow me to finish the conversation. Luckily, my lab work shows that my vitamin D is in normal range without chronic condition. I see now why Dr. David made this false diagnosis, so crystal creek dental does not have to the take any responsibility. Please DO NOT GO to this dental office if you want to be treated fairly. I wrote this review to bring awareness and protect the public from financial harm. UPDATE 06/25/2025 I called and spoke to the office manager about the refund. She said that her regional manager would be handling refund, and I know the regional manager does not exist. No Refund 3 months later and Dr. Akinyele texted me last week and here what he said: I just had an implant surgeon consultation, and he said I have enough bone for the implant. I will definitely seek legal actions.

August 2023- update. This last year at Crystal Creek dental has been great. I see their hygienist Ghizala, who is the best!! My visits are every 3 months. Great office staff too! July 2021-Just wanted to compliment Lisa, the Office Manager at Crystal Creek Dental, because she was the ONLY one who figured out what the error was on an EOB from my insurance company. AND she gave me credit on that bill for that error. I am commenting about her expertise, because even the agent from my insurance company couldn't figure it out and Lisa did!!! Thank you Lisa!!!! You are terrific!!!!

Negative experience: having been with crystal creek dental (hedgecoxe road) for >10 years. I now have to explain why I am leaving. 1. High dentist turn over. Within the last 3-5 years 2. Recurring billing issues. Although not recently. Note I ignored this problem for years. 3. Recent lack of attention to detail and low professionalism. Last two visits and this is the trigger for me leaving. For this concern in 2024 I had a filling and my tongue was cut. Never ever happened before. Recent visit which was my last chance visit the new dentist was more concerned about maxing out my insurance versus providing a solid dental plan. Having just come back from another dentist where I asked them to review the report provided by crystal creek I was told none of the recommended procedures were urgent and the one tooth that needed more urgent maintenance was not mentioned. The new dentist took the TIME to review in DETAIL with me both the x-rays and photos something I cannot recall happening for me with crystal creek in years. MY BAD for wanting to keep a convenient location, this is my mistake do not make the same! PS Dr Le when he did provide care for me (a long time ago) was excellent I am sad to see how the level of care provided by this office at least for me has declined so very badly over time.

Fantastic experience: I went recently visited Crystal Creek Dental and the staff was amazing. As a new patient I was nervous because I’ve had bad experiences in the past but Dr David was amazing he went over my x rays with me explaining to me why I needed treatment and about oral hygiene. I’ve never had a doctor to take time to explain everything to me that made me feel more comfortable and confident that I came to the right office. Dr David is amazing.

Negative experience: BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DENTAL OFFICE ! Check what they are charging your insurance as well. My experience with Crystal Creek Dental has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. After a root canal retreatment by Dr. David, I continued to have persistent pain. After sitting in the chair for over three hours, Dr. David admitted he wasn’t sure why I was still in pain and suggested it might be due to a hidden or missed nerve — which turned out to be the case. Dr. David ended up having to break another crown during the retreatment process due to the missed third nerve. I was later referred to a specialist, where I had to pay over $1,000 out of pocket. This situation could have been avoided entirely if the third nerve had been identified earlier. If I had been told about the missed nerve last year, I could have gone to a specialist much sooner and avoided months of pain and unnecessary procedures. I also have serious concerns about the front staff & assistants. Their unprofessional behavior, especially Judith, is unacceptable. She joked on numerous occasions that she hoped my crown wouldn’t fall out, which I found incredibly insensitive. To make matters worse, I discovered that the specialist she referred me to had previously fired her and had nothing good to say about her . I asked Crystal Creek Dental for a refund because the pain and extra treatment were the result of their mistake. The office was initially unwilling to take responsibility, and it wasn’t until after some internal discussion that Dr. David personally refunded me from his own bank account via Zelle not through the practice. And he stated to me “ I am giving this out of my own pocket they aren’t gonna reimburse me back. “ While I appreciate his effort, it shouldn’t have come to that. Crystal Creek Dental did end up providing me with a new crown, but they refused to offer any kind of warranty on it — even though it was their own doctor’s error & normally I should be given a 5 year warranty. Furthermore, I was discontinued as a patient under the false pretense that they felt threatened because I cried after they told me there was another nerve after months of coming to the office and then telling me they just think I need a implant. Which wasn’t the case it was the NERVE left in my tooth. I haven’t had any pain since after seeing a specialist. This was after numerous attempts of coming to the dental office, only to be sent away with an untreated OPEN nerve in my mouth, which could have caused a serious infection due to the incomplete root canal. The reason for discontinuing my care was invalid and felt like retaliation for raising legitimate concerns.

Fantastic experience: If you don’t have a dentist or you’re looking for a new dentist- look no further. I’ve had 11 dentists in 7 different states over the years and Dr. Nguyen is by far the most skilled. I knew I needed two crowns before seeing him, and he laid the bases for both the crowns in 45 minutes. When he placed the permanent crowns on, I still had a perfect bite. He is incredibly skillful and fast. He always gives you an overall perspective on your dental work, and on the best way to proceed, for your particular situation. If you have worries or fears about going to the dentist, as many people do, Dr Nguyen’s cheerful positive and encouraging attitude will put you at ease. It makes going to the dentist a much more positive experience. If you have put off going to the dentist or have some long standing problems, you can be confident that he will partner with you to help you restore your dental health. I continue to stand by everything I wrote above in my previous review. Dr Nguyen remains my dentist of choice. Whether you need light work or a lot of serious work done, he will collaborate with you to plan how best to maintain or restore your dental health. He’s works quickly, but carefully. He has good judgement about whether a tooth can saved. Especially when you get older your longevity often depends on finding a great dentist you trust. Dr Nguyen is not only incredibly skillful, but he has a cheerful, positive and encouraging attitude that will put you at ease. I would also add that Crystal Creek Dental also several very excellent dental assistants and hygienists on its staff. I would especially like to single out Victoria who assisted Dr. Nguyen during my husband's recent treatment. She was personable, efficient, and an overall excellent member of the Crystal Creek team.

Negative experience: I personally worked with Dr.david and he placed my brothers implant, my brother is having to have his implant extracted due to it being exposed above the bone. I wouldnt recommend Dr.David to anyone, there is so many patient complaints about him. He’s very unprofessional (always flirting with staff and texting patients on his personal cellphone) and isn’t certified to due most of the procedures he attempts. He has multiple state board cases and that speaks volumes. I’m trying to bring awareness, Steer clear of his sketchy work and go to someone actually certified.

Fantastic experience: One of my front crowns fell out. Dr. David was able to replace it quickly and made sure it was properly set. I appreciate his "bedside" manner as he was compassionate and made me comfortable.

My first visit was with Sylvie who was the sweetest, most kind dentist I’ve ever had. I was so nervous and embarrassed about all the work I needed to get done and she made me feel so comfortable and like she had my back! She truly cares and wants to help and that motivated me to do my part in getting my teeth healthy again. I love coming in and being greeted by the sweetest person at the front desk who has been so supportive of my goal to take care of my teeth. This week I had a root canal with the incredible Dr. David and Victoria and was smiling and laughing the whole time. Their vibes and energy made me feel safe and at ease and I was having such a good time I forgot I was getting a root canal. I haven’t had any pain at all thanks to their amazing work. I can confidently say everyone that works here is the best of the best and I would recommend Crystal Creek Dental to everyone I know.

I work 830-530 remotely in a phone center for insurance and do not get time approved often especially this time of year; so having late hours and Saturdays is a huge advantage and deal for me .

Negative experience: Doctor David is great! BUT and that’s a big but. He is definitely over-worked and on some days he is the only doctor for everybody. All the staff are friendly, the problem is the management. They over-schedule. I was there for some filings and a crown. I knew it’s not gonna be fast but it took 3 and half hours…. The reason? The doctor had to be in and out multiple times for other patients. They also changed the hygiene in between. The whole process is unnecessarily long: one upper tooth, stop, wait, two lower tooth, stop, long wait, core build up, etc. My wife was doing a cleaning at the same time, and the doctor couldn’t find time to do a check-up for her. I was with this dental office for two years, first time I had this very unpleasant experience

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for about twelve years bow and not once since I was a child has this place ever let me down. The hygienist’s and the doctors are professional, knowledgeable and caring and the front desk people are friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I’ve known the people here for a long time now and I never feel like a stranger when I come in for my usual cleaning. The experience here is nothing but professional and welcoming. Do yourself an honest to god favor and book your appointment here. You will not be disappointed I promise you that.

Fantastic experience: This was the best dental checkup I’ve had. The check in was seamless and I was done within 30 minutes. Silvia (spelling) did a fantastic job. She was nice, kind and gentle with my teeth. I love her energy and personality. They were very thorough with the cleaning. Fantastic experience: I love this place. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They take their time and explain to you the process, and how much it will be before proceeding with anything. They are very professional, I’ve had my wisdom teeth taken out last year and I’m going for a deep cleaning next week. My husband is getting his tooth extracted tomorrow and a root canal after that and are very impressed with their care and exceeding my expectations due to some reviews i’ve read. Negative experience: They always pressure me to get braces or invisalign even after I say I can't afford it. I've always been happy with the dentists but one of the hygienists last year talked to me about needing to brush my teeth like I was a child. I have major depression disorder and it affects my ability to keep up with my dental hygiene. I felt humiliated by the way he talked to me.

Negative experience: I got Invisalign from this place I knew going in that my case would be hard, but this has been a nightmare. Dr. Sanders, the first ortho that I had was horrible. She forgot to order the Invisalign. My teeth have been scanned about five times at this point and I’m not on the right track. Every time I call it’s a new manager with new excuses. My next step, I will be reaching out to the owner, Dr. Lee because this is ridiculous and unprofessional. It’s at the point where I’m going to call a lawyer. I have a new ortho Dr. Winn guess what? he forgot to call and order my trays as well.

Negative experience: This office has gone downhill since I started coming here 7 years ago. There is no consistency with the techs who do the cleanings (although very friendly people), poor coordination with the receptionist desk, and dentists who can't keep there attention on one patient for more than a minute at a time. The latest update is they no longer accept HMO dental plans, despite still appearing in-network, which was a good thing as I will change providers now.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service. Everyone was wonderful. The Dr. Rahman was great. Dental hygienist Natalie was so sweet and helpful with wonderful energy. The office manager Jennifer was amazing and so helpful with trying to help with cost effective. I look forward to working with them to get all my dental work done.

Fantastic experience: Darn, it looks like I can only give them 5 stars. My gold crown fits PERFECTLY! No muss, no fuss, no adjustments. I am 75 years old and VERY picky. I will be going back soon to have 2 more old crowns replaced. Also, my wife had a crown replaced and she is very happy with it.

Negative experience: This is an extremely UNETHICAL and IRRESPONSIBLE facility. They told me my previous fillings needed to be replaced and hoaxed me into doing 5 fillings all at once. The process was very uncomfortable, and the dentist completely ruined my teeth. Now months after the fillings, I’m left with super sensitive teeth, constant pain, and huge gaps between teeth that stuck with food all the time. One of the fillings are not even properly connected which caused cavity in between. Attached picture is from a different dentist and you can see the gap between the filling and my tooth. Do not come unless you want to ruin your teeth!!
