Negative experience: I had the most painful dental experience of my life here a couple of years ago. The dentist missed seeing one of the canals in the xray and thus missed treating it during my route canal. I went home to recover and a few days later I could barely move, I had a fever, and was in horrible pain. I went back to the dentist and told him something is wrong, I feel worse than before. I asked him to take another xray and look at the tooth and he almost didn't want to because he said there was not another canal on the prior xray. However, once he did take the new xray at my insistence, he then saw the canal he missed. Now, it was extremely infected. He called it a hot tooth. The lidocaine did not work at all and instead of stopping and coming up with a plan to offer sedation (like my new dentist did with an infected tooth) he proceeded to tell me to hold on - for dear life, I guess- and repeatedly jammed my tooth with some sort of sharp instrument with full force while I screamed and cried from the pain. I now know enough to know this is completely unprofessional and I should have been offered some sort of anesthesia or another dentist if they don't do anesthesia there. I had numbness and tingling on that side of my face for weeks afterwards and was afraid he did some sort of permanent damage. They were all nice and I am sure this was a one off but, his response was inappropriate. I should have been given strong antibiotics before he went back in to my tooth and offered stronger pain control during that procedure on the infected canal. We now see a dentist further out of town but, that one is very professional and thorough and they NEVER let us suffer in pain.

Negative experience: The team at Cobb Family Dentistry is great. However, they are very expensive. If you can’t afford their treatment, then will not treat unless you apply for their in-house credit or you pay your bill prior to service. Of course, if your dental plan covers, then you are good. Mine did not and I was turned away.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very attentive, although the receptionist didn't speak Spanish, the other girls who do immediately offered to help me. Thank you, the place looks clean and welcoming. The younger girls are very responsible; it's very noticeable that they know their job, and that gave me confidence. I had a canine extracted. The doctor was very precise in explaining the process and the application of the anesthesia. Normally, they have been painful on other occasions, obviously in other locations, but here with her, everything was fast, very professional, and quick to heal to a certain extent. Fantastic experience: I had a good experience and great results when Dr. Popple repaired my chipped front tooth. The tooth color is spot on and you can’t tell it was ever chipped. My husband and I are new to this area and we have now made appointments as new patients. Oh, and the staff is also friendly and competent! 8/2025 Update : Still pleased with Dr. Popple and his staff, several cleanings and a crown later. Kelly, one of the hygienists, is awesome! She is gentle but thorough and I ask for her everytime. They even have 7am appointments if you want to go before work.

Going to the Cobb Family Dentistry brought back some bad memories. When I first met the dentist, I introduced myself as an 82-year-old chicken. The facility was very clean, and everyone made me feel welcome and special. At the end of my visit, I was very impressed with everyone there. Demetry has come a long way since my military days. With what they needed to do was done without any discomfort and looking forward to the rest of my visits.

Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional!!! Because of my past unprofessional experiences with another dental company (coa€€ dental) that I spent years with off and on going back and forth with them wrongfully billing, to waiting months to tell me that I owe for a procedure that I had already paid for. It was nonstop to their shenanigans. The constant turnover of new people created an environment of poor to no integrity . It was a pleasantly pleasing experience with Cobb Family Dentistry because I called my insurance company to ask certain questions and CFD lined up with what my insurance told me. They're Great! I highly recommend CFD if you are in need of a professional dental office laced with integrity.

I went in today to get a chipped wisdom tooth pulled, and it was such a swift, painless, and well directed procedure. Dr. Popple was very prompt and precise, assuring the procedure was as easy for me as possible. Very excited to go back for more maintenance, cleaning, and work I have needed done for years. You won’t want to go ANYWHERE else!

Getting my broken tooth digitally examined and the cap designed, created and fitted within the hour was like stepping into the future. Great work and impressive technology.
