Positive experience: The Dentist was very thorough, caring and patient. As she treated my grandson(4 yrs.old) she explained what she was going to do and how it would feel to my grandson. My grandson feared not even though this is his 2nd visit to the dentist and she filled-in 2 mollers. He did great!! Plus the dentist and their staff was very kind and polite.

Negative experience: Paid for new dentures, and it's been 2 months, and they are still not fixed correctly. I was informed on the 5th it would be 2 weeks, and they scheduled me for 3 weeks, the day before Thanksgiving and my birthday the day after. How am I going to be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner with my new dentures? I am so upset over this. First day it took them 5 hours just to get me fit for the dentures. Do NOT go to this place. I have a cleaning in January. Guess who isn't going to that place ever again

She took care of me both financially and dentally. Doctor Grewal determined I had no cavities and took care of me accordingly, she was direct and detailed. Negative experience: Please choose ANY OTHER dental company but this one. When the staff says they ran your insurance, don’t believe them, make sure of it, ask them 3 times and for proof.

Negative experience: I had work done on Rufe snow office. I went in and knew I needed all my teeth pulled and to have dentures. You put your trust in a dentist and trust that all will be good. Ok Dentist said I can save your two eye teeth and get a partial which the two teeth would hold them. We’ll prob two weeks my partials broke. He fired me with a second pair. Got my second pair and was constantly through the year getting them adjusted with no help. Dentist said watch what you eat; and I was . Cutting food into small pieces. But my gums hurt and the teeth cut my gums up. So painful. Then I went for a checkup and he said the other eye tooth needed to have a crown or it would cos me to go to an oral surgeon. So I listened and it made the partial not fit. But he was determined to fix it. Causing damage again. He should of had a third partial done but did not. Now these ones broke and he did not want to take care of. Sent me to Fortworth office. Which when I got there they had no clue to why I was there. Oh come on really. So i asked him how much to fix 10,000. What I have 6,000 already into something that should never shoukd of been done. He only did implants. I don’t want implants. So I and my daughter went to see the manager on Rufe snow explained to him what happened. This was a new office manager. He was all professional and agreed this should be fixed. Call my insurance and have charges refunded. Insr only covers partials every five years. Ok a month went by nothing. I went back up to see what were they going to do. He shrugged his shoulders. I started crying and told him you need to do something. He replied hey I wasn’t here when this mess happened but you are the manager. So its going on three months no contact. When I call office I get attitude and no help. I need these two teeth pulled and dentures. But am trying to save so I can start over. However I contacted my insr company and hopefully they can help me. I have never been treated so badly. Oh yea if dentist wants to give you partial with two teeth run. I was explained that you have a table with four legs it’s stable with two it’s unstable. will never work. I am so mad right now because my mouth hurts and I am embarrased with no smile. I am waiting for someone to do the right thing and fix this.

Negative experience: Doctors and hygienist are great. Staff while in the office are great. But if you call even when returning a call the customer service is horrible! You cannot get through and they don’t return calls. Since I started going here I have left multiple messages and have yet to get a single call back. But they can call 500 times to confirm an appointment. they need to get a phone system that actually works and takes care of their patients outside of the office! I chose them cause they had Saturday appointments for orthodontist and they quit saturdays… I cannot go elsewhere since I’m doing Invisalign and they’re already taking payment (to be fair the orthodontic side is great and answer phones and give you a text link to communicate with and they reply within 24hours)if I wasn’t STUCK I’d be gone 100%. If you have not become a patient of the dental side I wouldn’t! I work in a doctors office and if we treated our patients even 1/2 as poorly we’d have none!

Negative experience: well i made an apppointment with AI and everytime i wanted price for exam visit.. it disconnected me so i showed up early to visit and found out they wanted 59 dollars to tell me i have no teeth and xrays.. should have examined me and said they need x rays.. aspen dental does a free exam at least for initial visit.. i just didnt want to pay to hear i have no teeth.. no body waiting in waiting room .. im sure you have lots of money..why cant i choose less than a star.. thanks for nothing..

Negative experience: I came here yesterday for a deep cleaning. I was told over the phone that as a first time visit I would be paying $50. I was happy at the sound of that because dental care is extremely expensive. I walked out having to pay almost $230. I checked my insurance calculator and this is how much it should have cost. After I paid I was told I needed to come back for something to do with an orthodontist. Little did I know that I was set up to choose between Invisalign and Braces as the procedure of the day. I just got off an overnight shift and am confused as hell. They told me the reasons why I needed it which I completely understand but they wanted to set me up in a payment plan for $170 a month with an 18% APR over tho course of something like 30 months. I live by myself and in this economy who truly can afford to have this procedure done that is needed when they struggle to make ends meet with other necessities? I’m actually very disappointed. I researched this place and read how incredibly affordable it was but after the numbers that’s been shown to me I would have to disagree. I had another appointment in 3 months for another cleaning but honestly it’s not with paying $230.

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. We arrived 10min before our appointment and ended up waiting almost a hour to be called. Then we stayed almost 2.5hrs for them just to be able to do an x-ray and not having enough time to clean teeth (which is why we came).

Fantastic experience: Jefferson dental was definitely a great experience! All the staff are very polite and professional.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this location. I went in two months ago to get a root canal done on a cracked tooth. It took the root canal 7 hours and although I understand it may take this long I feel telling the patient about the duration is considerate. I had to pick up my daughter from school soon and they weren’t even almost finished. The temporary crown fell out 5 times. Which meant I had to return to the office, 5 times. In a span of 2 months. I feel that is ridiculous and not typical. Mind you I had to take off work early each time and spend up to two hours in the chair. I purposely scheduled appointments for the afternoon because I cannot miss work and have to make arrangements for my children while I’m at the dentist. Every single time, they would call me a day before my appointment and ask if I could come at 11am. When I said I couldn’t they would ask if I could reschedule because they’re overbooked even though I had booked those appointments 2 weeks in advance. One time they sent me a text saying, “see you at 11!” When my appointment for that day was 4:30….then when I called to ask about it they decided to change it without even consulting me. The receptionists are not friendly and make no kind of eye contact. They have you wait in the office longer than you’re actually in the chair and I had a different doctor every time. All of this hassle and still spending $2800 for a root canal.

Negative experience: Currently in treatment. Not satisfied with the communication or lack there of. Trying to contact the dental office itself is a hassle and notes usually aren’t recorded until after your upset. 1 year from this review and NOTHING has changed... Well of course the Dr again. He is the best thing to happen to this place however. He cannot hold the building, staff and patients on his shoulder. I am at the end but I want to disrupt service. This place has not satisfied me at all.

Negative experience: This place is just so stupid,they over booked with patients and don't have the the proper staff to take care of a simple filling.for the last year they keep telling come another time and the same the next time we don't have the time.how stupid can you be to over booked and just one person doing the job..and on top of that the tools don't even work how can you do the work like that.

Negative experience: (Edited for accuracy) I scheduled my first appointment with Jefferson Dental and ended up with a follow up for tooth extraction. The surgery actually went very well. I had not been to a provider in many years, and thankfully am in a position to afford better overall health and dental care... I should have worked more closely with my insurance company, because Jefferson Dental charged me hundreds of dollars for services that should have been free to me and fully covered by my insurance. The dental cleaning that I was quoted and paid over $200 for was fully covered by my insurance on my explanation of benefits. They sited a deductible that I was not aware of on my insurance policy, but the remaining amount due still came out to an amount that was close enough to what I had paid for me to not have concern. I was quoted and paid for a tooth extraction which was paid the day of surgery. ******Only later to receive a $115 bill that was never discussed with me previously. I received the bill after cancelling any further appointments with them.*********** I had also called to ask about specific care involving previous orthodontic work and was given a flat rate over the phone with zero consultation of insurance coverage or consultation of additional needs for care. I will certainly not waste my time or money with them further and will go to a more honest practice moving forward.

Fantastic experience: For the past two years, Jefferson Dental and Ortho has been my braces provider. This has been an amazing experience with wonderful, professional, and kind people. The service is outstanding. Both Dr. Mitchem and Trinity, his dental assistant, are excellent.

Fantastic experience: This office is awesome soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Dr Naida, Niuka, Terzin, and Gina. They make a great team. Go see them at Jefferson Dental you will leave very happy. AWESOME!!!!

Negative experience: Wait from 8:20am to 12:00 pm for cleaning first and last time visit this place. The equipment has rust around it. Cleaning is free with insurance but they said they have laser cleaning that will cost me another 85 dollars look at the insurance it said free. Another one is a scam and cleaning take around 15 min and one person with no helper. So it not a very well done. So it more of the scam and no work is done. Just wasted your time don’t go here if you value your time. They also recommended me extract my tooth but it give me no pain or discomfort, so I don’t think they know what they are talking about, secondly they recommend getting brick for my missing tooth rather than denture. Which is destroyed your good teeth to help support fake teeth will destroy two tooth to fixed one teeth.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Took care of my cleaning and fillings the same day. It was a little bit of wait but they were very busy. Def going back.

Negative experience: Today, December 12th, I came in for a routine braces adjustment, and while the doctor was professional and kind, the rest of the experience left me deeply upset. After the doctor began the process and went to see another patient, a dental assistant (I’m not sure of her title) took over to handle the power chain part. From the start, it felt like she was unsure of what she was doing—she was rough and kept mumbling to herself. She only worked on the bottom teeth and then left. When the doctor returned, he immediately noticed that her work was incomplete, and the lead, Trinity, had to step in to finish. Trinity took care of the top teeth, and while I know my teeth are sensitive, it was painful, especially when working on the gaps in my bottom teeth. She even acknowledged it would hurt. At one point, she used a tool that poked me, causing me to instinctively jump. She questioned whether I floss and dismissed my reaction, saying my sensitivity was the issue. When she poked me again and I explained that the pain was from the tool hitting my gums, she responded with an unprofessional tone, implying that my reaction was the problem instead of apologizing or showing concern. The lack of an apology or acknowledgment of her mistake was incredibly disrespectful. I wasn’t moving unnecessarily—I reacted because I was in pain. The way she handled the situation, with attitude instead of empathy, made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed as a patient. This appointment felt disorganized and careless. Dental work involves trust, and today I felt like I was just another mouth to work on instead of a person with feelings. I hope this feedback encourages better care and communication because no patient should leave feeling like their pain was ignored or blamed on them. She could have at least apologized for poking me. What if I had started bleeding? Would she have blamed me for that too? She’s the one handling the tools, not me. I’m just sitting there, feeling the pain. An apology would have gone a long way, but instead, she made it seem like it was my fault.

Positive experience: First of all, I really like my dentist & the staff, my only issue is they have had me come back 3 times for rescan. I started this endeavor in Aug or Sept & i still don't have my partials. I'm not saying don't go there just stay on top of your care. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

Positive experience: I loved their staff, they did about six years of work in two visits. Also had an extraction that went well a week after it was swollen enough to hurt for a long time. Time is an essence to the staff they work well together for your appointment.

Negative experience: Sharing my experience with this dental clinic highly do not recommend if you’re with orthodontist. Or wanting to get braces look somewhere else because this place is not it, i have been with them for years, and all I can say is that in the front office clearly do no know how to do their job or schedule appointments. I haven’t seen my doctor for months because all they do is change my appointments last minute. I don’t know what’s their problem but they should not be doing that without the patient’s consent. Regardless the doctors there keep changing? Clearly they do not like that place which is probably why they leave, also when the people come and clean my teeth they tend to hurt my gums or even make them bleed. I wish I could give no stars because I am not the only one who has experience this, unfortunately they won’t do anything about it. Once you pay the payment it’s as if they want the money asap but when I need them to see me they just cancel my appointment. Preferably I am going to look somewhere else because this dental clinic is not it, very frustrating because they always do this, switching my appointments or saying they don’t have enough time to see me. Worst customer service as well, do better. If you click on one stars you will see how recent the reviews are, because that’s how poor their customer service is. Very lacking to their patients, multiple times I have been letting them know on why they keep switching my appointments, calling medicaid to see another clinic because this is a horrible experience for me and others who also struggled with this.

Negative experience: Dental work scares me at good times and I went in terrified about getting my wisdom teeth removed but Dr. Rai was very quick and gentle and the assistant, Nadia, was so sweet, attentive, and held my hand when I started getting scared again. I really appreciate the staff here for making this so much more a pleasant experience than I expected Edit: changed my review to only 2 stars. The staff at the clinic were absolutely amazing and I appreciated all of them. That being said, Jefferson Dental is atrocious as a health care provider. After having my wisdom teeth removed I had a difficult recovery. I needed something for pain, which Jefferson Dental said they would provide an rx for if I needed it - but calling only ever took me to the CALL CENTER, I could NEVER call the actual office themselves and after 4 messages that were never given to that office according to their staff, my husband had to drive over and deal with it in person. Additionally, because they were so hard to reach, when I had a dental emergency during recovery we didn't even try again to reach them - just went to a different dentist. TLDR: the staff is amazing but not being able to reach them ruins that - never using again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve absolutely LOVED my experience here! I’ve always been so scared of the dentist, but Dr. Batra eased my anxiety and assured she would take care of me. I’m so happy I found this Clinic and their prices are very reasonable. Thank you Jefferson Dental for giving me my smile back!!

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at the Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics location in Hurst, TX, for two years now, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Scheduling appointments with the ortho management team has been a nightmare. They frequently reschedule appointments at the last minute, making it incredibly difficult to plan around my work and personal life. To make matters worse, I’ve seen 3-4 different orthodontists during this time, which is highly unprofessional. It’s hard to build trust or feel like I’m getting consistent care when I’m constantly shuffled between different providers. This inconsistency, combined with poor communication, makes me question whether this location is being managed properly. Honestly, the way they’ve handled my case makes me want to contact the state board. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable orthodontic care. It’s been nothing but a headache. Then reply with a number not in service.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience here and nowhere close to being done with my treatment . I am always asked to do a review so here it is . First appointment had a different doctor , she gave me the treatment plan and said it would be up to four months. Pay up front for all cost in Feb , come back 6 weeks later and have a new doctor who has no clue what my treatment plan was , running around because they over book . After an hour or so, they finally get my bonds on and give me my Invisalign. Scheduled to come back 6 weeks later and my apt had been cancelled and not by me. Luckily they were able to get me in the same week . A little irritated, but you know stuff happens and you fixed it . Come back again 6 weeks later all these 5 min appointments for me to wear them longer , cool again payedfor the treatment would like the best outcome. Fast forward to start of September , I come in and of course they are over booked and once again I am sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours , which is nonsense . I should not have to wait over 2 hours if we had a scheduled time to meet . Had to leave work early and work from the chair because of how slow and overbooked they are . The doctor went back and fourth between either extending my plan or getting my retainers . Finally had someone take the photos of my teeth after waiting another hour , by the time I left it was 4 hours later . I waited in. A chair for photos that took 5 minutes for over an hour, was told they would be ready in 6 weeks . 7 weeks later , today Oct 28 2024, after 5 confirmation text and a few phone call confirmations , I show up to not have my Invisalign in , the blame in Invisalign was not necessary , as I know the disorganization of this practice is what caused this , as the doctor and staff were running around not really giving the time and attention to each patient . After some calls to they have now pushed me back another 6 weeks and did not even give a courtesy call to inform me the Invisalign had not arrived , not only that I was told this was for retainers and now am told it is for refinements. . That is unacceptable, if I canceled last minute I am sure you would try to charge me . With all the confirmation text you sent and all the yes replies I sent , you should have noticed and given a phone call to inform me instead of having me drive in traffic and leave work early . I also saw the dentist there and the bill they submitted to the my insurance stated I owed a certain amount , which was paid before they provided services and over paid and now they want more money . This place is a joke and they do not care about your time or treatment . I would recommend looking for a different practice that actually cares and follows up with actually ordering your Invisalign and has enough respect to call you if the appointment needs to be cancelled due to their negligence. My time and money is just as valuable as yours. When I asked the office team if they forgot to order my Invisalign 6 weeks ago they couldn’t answer that but one of the people stated that not only did I not have the Invisalign trays in office but they didn’t schedule the correct amount of time for the appointment that would have been needed . I respect the honesty and all this place does is lie to their patients.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t dare come back here, my original appointment was 10/21 and they asked if i could come in 10/19. I did i get there check in as i was told i was checked in 30 minutes later i find out i was never checked in. Keep in mind it wasn’t busy so i waited for nothing then for me to get to the back and wait a additional 45mins with nothing but X-rays done so i walk back to the front to cancel my appointment. I’m told they recommend i come during the week which is crazy to me because i was asked to come on Saturday so 2hrs of wasted time later i was basically never serviced and this was my first appointment for just a general cleaning if i could give zero stars i would because they deserve it.

Negative experience: worst customer service anyone will get. wish I could leave star empty. I recently had a disappointing experience with this clinic. After my initial procedure, they failed to explain me the full treatment plan, including necessary follow-up care. As a result, my insurance is now refusing to cover the treatment, citing that I did not receive the supportive therapy required after the first procedure. Had the clinic properly communicated this, I would have been able to avoid these issues. expected better guidance, especially when it comes to ensuring procedures are covered by insurance. Now they are asking why didn't I ask about it. I got payment of nearly $1000 and they stated it will go to collection if I do not pay it.

Positive experience: I had a great experience with Jefferson Dental. They were able to get me in promptly. Very caring and understanding group. Aysha was there for it all. Thankfully, because of her, my temporary bridge was beautiful. And she made sure I was taken care of till the end.

Negative experience: My appointment was scheduled for 2:00pm for a hour long appointment. This was an important appointment because they were changing my brackets around. For such an important appointment they had me working with someone completely new who didn’t know what she was doing. The Dr. told the much more experienced dentist assistant to not leave her side from start to finish and make sure she did everything right. She did not watch her she left when she came back the new dentist assistant had put all the brackets on incorrectly so she told her to remove all of them and redo it. Once it was time to cure the upper teeth with brackets she ended up curing the bottom glue that wasn’t supposed to be cured yet so the entire process had to be started over. (While she was curing the upper teeth she was not using the UV light correctly and burned my gums several times and once on my bottom gums)The dentist assistant who was supposed to be helping her refused to help up over and over. She only helped twice when the new dentist assistant wasn’t understanding what she wanted her to do when giving instructions. At this point my appointment is now way over a hour I told them I had to get my son by 4pm at 3:15 they said they would be done in 30 minutes. The new dentist assistant said its actually going to take her much longer so she will get someone else with more experience to take over so we can make sure I’m done by 4pm. She never did that instead they forced her to keep going. Then a bottom bracket falls off, so now this has to be completely redone now at this points I’ve been there for over 2 hours. Then they remove the new dentist assistant and then has someone else fix the bottom bracket that just came off, she gets it fixed then as she’s putting on the wires a top bracket falls off. At this point I’ve been here for 3 hours 4 different people in my mouth and my mouth been open this entire time. So now she has to start over yet again and fix the upper bracket that came off. She said the wire was too strong so she was switching it, when the Dr. came to do final check he ask her if it was a 16 wire put on she said yes but that wasn’t true because she changed them so no more brackets would pop off. I was there for over 3 hours when it should have only been 1 hour. My gums got burned really bad so now I’m concerned I am going to get gingival tissue damage and I had 4 different people in my mouth back and forth so there no telling if I am going to get sick or not. No one cared that I was there over hours I was over an hour late getting my son, missed bible study and my son’s doctors appointment because of their negligence to do the right thing. If she would have just watched her none of this would have happened. What a horrible experience and they all made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal except for the new dentist assistant she apologized and told her team this is why I needed someone watching me.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Batra Hygienist wafaa assists Ayaha Tess asma dyamond along with isabel n Alejandra made me and my family feel so comfortable and I will definitely recommend to my friends n family their attention to detail patience and overall attitudes were amazing 10/10 recommend! Not to mention Brittany she just absolutely made my day so funny!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Fernanda did a great job doing my exam (super gentle and fast paced). I got a cleaning and 1 filling done and I was there for less than an hour. Dr.taylor and Wafaa are my favorite. They took their time and was very gentle with me. 10/10 definitely recommend. <3 Beautiful experience at this office once again. Dr.Raina did my filing and i almost fell asleep. Made me extremely comfortable. love her bunches <3

Fantastic experience: Jefferson Dental Clinic, Hurst, TX- There was a misunderstanding regarding scheduling for my daughter's braces, and I was so disappointed and mad because of what happened. And I would like to give 5 stars to the employee at the front desk at Orthodontics because she handled me with grace and respect despite my disappointment and frustration. I apologize for what happened, and I know that she understands why I'm so disappointed. I also understand that she tried to help, but we don't have a choice but to come back. Keep up your good customer service communication. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a deep clean and laser treatment. My hygienist Michelle is the BOMB!!! This cleaning has been by far THE BEST CLEANING EVER! She took her time, 100% painless, and she was very knowledgeable and answered everything question I asked. If I can’t get her as my hygienist every time, I will wait till she is available lol. THANK YOU AGAIN MICHELLE

Negative experience: I would recommend getting a second opinion before moving forward with treatment and or care here. I came in for an exam last week, and nothing about the experience was comforting or reassuring, and I would even say it was unprofessional. The person doing my x-rays took at least 15+ photos of my teeth, and was literally making me gag because the device was too large for my mouth. I couldn’t even bite down right but she continued my x-rays anyways, which is maybe why she had to take so many. Eventually the doctor came in and said I needed two fillings and a crown. Then the hygienist told me that I needed a cleaning that was more than a regular cleaning but not quite a deep cleaning, and also recommended some kind of laser treatment for my gums. While looking in my mouth she commented that my “gums aren’t healthy at all” — what kind of professional says that? They then tried to quote me pricing without my insurance because they didn’t verify my benefits before I came, and blamed it on my insurance company being hard to reach. Once they did verify my benefits I was still going to be out $700ish for treatment through them. I didn’t feel good about my experience so today I received a second opinion exam from another practice up the street (ProSmiles). Turns out I only need two fillings, no crown, a regular cleaning and no gimmicky laser treatment. My insurance benefits were verified when I arrived and my total out of pocket will only be $80. The staff were warm, welcoming, detailed, efficient and clearly not out to push for treatment that I didn’t need. Getting their opinion literally saved my hundreds of dollars & they’re only 5 minutes up Pipeline from JDC!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is nice and the dr is very nice and professional today. I was going to the dentist just to get a deep cleaning ended up having to have five teeth extracted. They were so calming because of course I was nervous, but they helped me along the process and took excellent care of me. I would like to thank Jessica who was sweet and the first person I saw. Then Dr.Raina and Dr. Ahmad box used great experience and wisdom while pulling my wisdom teeth lol. Kia dad was very throughly able to explain the process and helpless me to feel comfortable. Isabel took allllll my money but she was nice about it so I didn’t mind lol then Britney and diamond were excellent at assisting the doctor and keeping me calm and making sure that I was OK as well. Someone even gave me a blanket because I was cold. The atmosphere is just really nice and everyone is so caring. great job Jefferson of Hurst!!!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Raina, Wafaa, Ayaha, Diamond and Isabels were all about helping me today. Dentist visits don't always come woth excitement, but the way this team cared for me AND my son... Makes it ten times easier.

Fantastic experience: My 2 granddaughters came with a lot of drama. My nerves were shot by the end of their visits! However the staff were very patient and maintained control. Dr. Taylor was professional and patient. Ayesha, Dymond and Wafaa were awesome. Their patience and kindness was tested greatly and they exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service. The staff is so nice! My dentist, Dr. Soni and my dental hygienist, Wafaa was gentle, patient, and thorough. Also the office manager, Camaya was so friendly and professional. My entire family comes to this office. When it comes to our teeth, I can't see us going any where else.

Jackie, the manager, is very detailed with her patients. She goes into detail, making sure to suggest what's best for their specific needs.
