Negative experience: Worst location ever ! I had to lay $150 for retainers replacements just to receive this crap. There was cloudy residue on them and they ended up cutting my gums and lips because they were not shaped/shaved correctly this location plays dirty and only cares about money. I was also told they cannot make my retainers without an orthodontic in office and what a surprise that my retainers were made when the orthodontist wasn’t in office. I will be reporting them to the state of Arizona for completing my replacements without the orthodontis in office

Fantastic experience: From the beginning, Amy was extremely helpful and courteous. Raul was informative and had a lot of patience with me. Mariela was quick in taking my x-rays but was professional and explaining the process. The Dr. was able to remove my canine tooth because it was too far gone. Raul was there all the time I was in there explaining the whole process as it went. Amy asked me if I felt good before leaving making sure I was safe to drive. All in all, everyone was very professional, courteous, and genuine interested in my wellbeing. Thank you Risas Dental

Negative experience: I have been going to Risas for years, although not to this specific location; I usually went to the one on Bethany Home, where the service was great. I chose this location because it was the closest to me. Recently, I got braces for my two kids at the same time and paid in full for both treatments before the procedures began. They decided to remove my son's braces so that a baby molar could fall out before applying the full braces. He only had partial brackets placed on his front teeth. After the molar fell out, I brought him back to have the braces put on again. However, they informed me that this was considered "Phase 1" of the treatment, and they never mentioned this before removing the braces. Now, I'm being told that I have to pay again for "Phase 2," even though I initially paid for full treatment. This was never disclosed to me prior to the removal, and I have never experienced this with our previous treatments, as my other three kids have all had braces successfully. When I tried to discuss this with the dentist, he was unresponsive, and the manager only offered an apology for the misinformation. Now, my son is left with incomplete treatment, and I feel that I am out the full amount I paid.

Fantastic experience: My doctor todas was the dr. Holliday, along with his assistant Gary, good service, they were so clean, i would recomend this place!

Positive experience: My first two appointments received i was pleased with staff and hygienist and dentist. Third appointment.. give 3 stars: I had to ask why my blood pressure was not being taken. Then they proceeded.. Teeth cleaning: removed tarter, buffing, did not floss. This is the worst cleaning I've ever had.

Negative experience: Previously posted about being very happy about this location up until today!!! My daughters treatment and being informed is very important to me and knowing what is going on I feel I should be informed however upon arrival today I was informed I was no longer allowed to be with her during her visit. I am very unhappy about this !! So if you are wanting to be with your child during their visit choose a different place

Fantastic experience: Dr. Halliday did an amazing job he’s incredibly thorough in his work, and his assistant Ami is just as impressive. Their attention to detail was outstanding. I hadn’t seen Dr. Halliday since 2022, yet he still remembered me, which really added a personal touch to the experience. He also gave me great advice! Thanks again Doc!

Negative experience: Crap, just crap. They act so sweet and like they care.... But the poor scheduling practices, low quality product that chips/breaks wears down quickly, along with irresponsible labs /staff that lose or take FOREVER to complete. And then when they screw up. There's no accountability or anything to show they ACTUALLY CARE, Means they're only in it for the paychecks. PLUS THEY REALLY AREN'T THAT MUCH SAVINGS.... THEY ARE NOT MUCH CHEAPER THAN YOUR AVERAGE DENTIST.

Negative experience: Pathetic Service, they messed up multiple times on my daughters dental work, ground her front TEETH down so far and did SHOTTY BUILD UP REPAIR. Not only did they mess up on scheduling and didn't put her on the schedule then when she was finally able to get in so much time had passed which cost her $4,000 more because of the extensive damage from the time she was first seen to when they finally got her in. They weren't clear in their communication with her partials, they really aren't that much less than other dentists. And the work and product seems low quality. Her build-ups chipped away one of them wasn't even finished all the way.. they also didn't tell her that the lab needed more imprints so she was waiting for 6 weeks for teeth because they messed up the first time, did NOT expedite it the second time, and then the THIRD time when she was supposed to get them delivered so she could leave to help me on our trip for my grandson's graduation her nephew, she found out she couldn't go because her teeth weren't going to be ready because nobody called her to tell her they needed more impressions ... now she can't go. And I'm going to be without someone to help me.. all because of This irresponsible unprofessional LOCATION... I also had to get dental work done at Risas, because I thought it would be cheaper, but poor material and shawty work, that just broke, meant more money in the long term. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

Fantastic experience: I stopped by last minute to get my wire fixed and Gary helped me out right away. I am so appreciative how fast they got me in and out at the end of the day. Thank you guys and mostly of all thank you Gary!!

Negative experience: DESPISE ISN'T THE RIGHT WORD,BUT In the beginning, at the original location I had been seeing, they were great. The multiple dentists I was able to see, handled my situation well as they could. Sadly, even though I took such great care of my teeth, a rare condition caused them to be weak, and illness in combination with medicine, caused them to disintegrate from the inside out... I have a rare condition which means I also have a rare dental situation.... which means extra knowledge and Care is needed, as well as, extra medication for numbing due to said condition, causing my body to metabolize it quickly and require more for numbing the same area of a normal person, not just in the beginning but, midway through, or I'm in intense pain. With that understanding, they were great and took care of all my needs and the prices were actually lower than the market... I could see any provider and was able to go to multiple locations when the main location wasn't able to handle my needs. I just had to pay the extra $100 as well, for a membership at the other location, to ensure all locations were paid for the discounts given... Now, fast forward 8 to 12 years, supposedly, they tell me that policy was never the case, they never allowed or supposed to LET me to go to different locations. They never make exceptions like that, and that was if anything my experience, it was a rare exception and not the rule... What happens if I move across town? What would happen if that location were to shut down, or like in my case, providers go on vacation for a week or two,.. leaving all dental emergencies undone, forcing me to go to the hospital... where they couldn't help me either, because they said that the tooth needed to come out and they couldn't do it... And because the exception had already been made when originally that wasn't me making it... At the time, I didn't know they were making an exception, they just scheduled it that way, and never told me I was losing the ability for a one-time convenience or courtesy (what a joke calling it a courtesy it's more like a slap on the wrist for being a customer, and wanting to be seen in a reasonable time, we're not feeling comfortable with the provider, and wanting a different one) and... Get THIS, if I moved, I'd have to stay at that location..yet.... THAT was never told to me either... Now, does that sound right to you? ethical? or even like a smart business move? The worst part is, they aren't even that much below the market like they used to be.... they're basically the same, with crappier material that breaks or chips easily.,... ONLY BECAUSE I'M DESPERATE AND IMPOVERISHED, am I forced to use them, because they do take care credit, and have SLIGHTLY cheaper prices...., I am forced to go there... And of course forced to wait until the provider who I'm ALSO forced to be with is available... Or I'm forced to be a walk-in which, as a disabled person having to borrow a car, bcuz I cannot always drive myself, nor afford to insure the one I have...because I do not work and do not get disability, and unfortunately live off the generosity of others and my savings that I was smart enough to acquire when I was working... And their own financing is so expensive, they charge such a high fee to finance it through themselves. I have Care credit... But it's too high of a payment for me to afford to max it out, and yet, the last time I did a consult with them, even though I made it clear my desperate situation.... they made me feel like, it wasn't a big deal paying almost 10 grand, and like I was getting a good deal, only getting partials and no implants, being forced to remove teeth instead of save them because it would then be even more expensive than I even have the credit for... And they're over there acting, like I can just go make some money again, and should be grateful they even take it, So now, once again I must wait for the provider to come back available, and hope my teeth are still there... VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED, ESPECIALLY SINCE I REFERRED MANY PATIENTS TO YOU GUYS,

Fantastic experience: First time going into a dental building in years. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. Dr Halliday and his assistant Henry did an amazing job helping me in my process of getting a wisdom tooth removed. From the explanation to the short operation it took for me. Kim did perfect with explaining payment plans, insurances and any other questions I had concerns for, the experience couldn’t have been smoother. I appreciate Risas for assisting in such short notice as well, same day appointment really saved a lot of time and pain I was going to have if I were to go somewhere else .

He has been recovering from stroke and brain surgeries for 9 months. We were to attend our first social function that very day. And he had severely lost confidence in his smile. Not only did RIsas see us on an emergency on a Saturday, but the staff and Dr Halliday were efficient, thorough and professional. Negative experience: Today was my first day at this dentist and it was going great until 3 hours later when i went to pick up my prescription the pharmacy told me my prescription was never sent. I tried calling the office but an operator answered, then she put me on hold to try to contact the office too and couldn’t. I went to the office in person and even though I had to go to work 1 hour later, I was told the dentist that saw me has stuff to do right now and he would send my prescription when he has time. It really pissed me off when they were the ones who made the mistake. If you are able to go or afford a different dentist, I would recommend that you do.

Negative experience: They are the wrist customers service and even they receive the appointment for my son 6 year old and when we got there, they couldn’t accept for this age. They look very unprofessional and wrost dental clinic.

Negative experience: If I could put zero stars I would. HAILEY was very disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. I don’t know why they keep hiring these horrible unprofessional people that act like they have never worked customer service in their life. Hailey along with the other front desk girls need to control their behavior. It’s embarrassing for grown women to be acting like this.

Fantastic experience: I came for the first time in a long time and I am very pleased with my experience. The assistant Diana was very helpful and explained everything to me. Dr. Wilson was very good at doing his job. Especially when he numbed me I didn’t feel a thing. This is a five star experience. I especially like the fact that I can get most of it done at once. I got my braces done the same visit too. Dr. Chorac was great and his assistant Raul was so helpful. He was patient and explained everything to me this was an excellent visit and I highly recommend this location for any dental work that you need done. Five stars. I would give more if it allowed me.
