Fantastic experience: Third dentist I tried in Nashville area and I'm staying put. Never felt the shot. Dr. Holmes did an excellent job on my bone graft. I had driven by their office so many times with good vibes about them. I was so right!! Dr. Oakes and Dr. Holmes are kind & gentle. 3 yrs later, still seeing them. Implant for one molar was a breeze. Loving my new molar. Thank you Dr. Holmes!

Fantastic experience: Vitality has been so great. I have high dental anxiety - so much so I haven’t been to one in way too long. Dr. Holmes was able to save my teeth. Two crowns and a few cavities to fix. So far I’ve gotten through the crowns, and it has been far FAR FAR easier than I would have ever anticipated. The crowns look INCREDIBLE, and they feel as close to my real teeth as physically possible. I legit can barely tell a difference. Exceptional work. Everyone has been so kind and understanding here, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Holmes. Didn’t push me to fix unnecessary things, wasn’t looking to nickel and dime me, and was straightforward about what we were going to do, step by step. Also, Cori in the billing dept is also amazing. Broke down all the costs, helped organize and show me how much each little piece was going to cost. I still have high anxiety about dental work, but this place has relieved SO much of that for me. Patient for life.

Fantastic experience: Vitality dental is the best. Amanda is always patient with me, and my horrible gag reflex. This is the only dentist I will ever go to. I always leave feeling happy with my smile, and they’re always willing to answer any and all questions I have.

Negative experience: Watch for upcharges !! So when i first came here, this place was great, friendly desk staff and my hygienist was awesome and great with communication. I got a few issues fixed with my teeth and maintained appointments. I thought they were a little pricey but were worth it. My Insurance provides for 2 free cleanings a year, so the first time i went in for my cleaning, i was charged and questioned it. they said once your diagnosed with periodontis its a different kind of cleaning, and that it is mandated by my insurance company to do so. More detailed. even though it was no different than any other cleaning I've ever had. I paid and moved on, The 2nd cleaning appointment i reiterated that i wanted my FREE cleaning on this appointment and again was charged saying again, its mandated by my insurance company. So, I called my insurance company (Delta Dental) and was informed by 2 different individuals that there is no such mandate on their end. That they had no stipulations on the kind of treatment required for cleanings. So when Vitality billed me, I ignored it for a while. but eventually paid them and explained this BS to the girl at the desk. They said it would be irresponsible of them to not give me the type of cleaning that they did (Again, no different from any other cleaning but oh well) I told her, that's not the point, the point is i am the customer and it is MY decision on what services i want and what i dont. Not to mention basically being lied to about it. I paid the small bill and cancelled all future services with them

I usually hate going to the dentist and put off my most recent appointment for years, but Vitality Dental has changed my outlook. I can't recommend them enough!

Gina was so amazing and patient and explained everything to me in great detail. Dr. Coeler was also beyond attentive and answered all my questions and helped me come up with a reasonable plan to get my oral health on track!

Negative experience: The first time I went was a good experience but the second time not so much. The first time I went they took X-rays said I had a couple cavities but they haven’t broke into the enamel. The doctor told me she would monitor them but as long as I take extreme care, I shouldn't need get them filled. I purchased their medicated toothpaste and been flossing like crazy ever since. Fast forward to my second visit. Before the hygienist asked me to open my mouth she told me I need to get my teeth filled asap and I cannot wait another 6 months. Ummmm that’s not what the doctor told me the first time and she didn’t even poke my teeth before suggesting that! On top of that, she automatically assumed I needed a payment plan to cover a $900 dollar bill, ha! Didn’t even ask me how I wanted to pay. I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit with Vitality Dental, and was very pleased with the overall experience. Alex was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and was incredibly thorough, patient, and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions. I felt genuine positivity from all the staff at Vitality and it will definitely be my new dental office going forward!

Negative experience: This office doesn’t genuinely care about the health of your teeth. They are pushy with their suggestions and only out to get your money. If you have money to blow, this is the place for you.

I have personally seen Dr. Oakes, who is phenomenal! Gina is my hygienist. She is very conversational and so easy to work with! He and his team are personable overall. Fantastic experience: OMGOSH!!!! Looking for Dentistry? This IS the PLACE TOO GO!!! I was nervous, literally!!! I was shaking in the chair. Monica noticed, not only she gave me meds but she continued talking to me to ease my thoughts and gave me a squeeze ball.:-) Then Dr. Holmes came in the room, not only inquired if I'm ok, but talked in a calm voice, explaining to me each procedure, pausing, explaining the next precess before the next procedure each time asking, 'you ready', me giving a thumbs up each time, then he starts. My dental work consists of filling and a back tooth pulled. Now I'm calling Dr. Holmes, 'Dr. Miracle-Hands'! Monica, you are the 'Calm Whisper'. I DID NOT feel any PAIN!!!! I walked out feeling GREAT!!! Five Stars/100/A+

After moving to the Nashville area I tried one dentist, but didn’t really care for it. Vitality is the level of service and professionalism I’m used to. It doesn’t feel like an office because it’s in what was once a cute little bungalow. I felt like I was in such great hands from start to finish.
