Positive experience: Everyone is so kind, and patient with the children, I guess I just don’t understand when you say we need to take care of getting a cavity filled, yet the next appointment is 5 mos away?

Fantastic experience: I personally have TERRIBLE "dentist anxiety" and try my best to not instill that in my boys. Every step from the front desk, to X-ray, to hygentist (who must be walking him her calling), to the doctor, and to checkout went smoothly for my incredibly nervous 5yo. Fantastic experience: Great visit! My daughter had a tooth filled, and she didn’t even feel the shot at all. That laughing gas really works good on her.. I’m glad I started bringing her to you guys at age 2. So far, she has not had a bad experience with you. I hope she never does because she loves coming to the dentist. The staff is always very nice to her!

Negative experience: I never made it to the appointment I am not from Birmingham. So I went to the wrong place tried to call and they were closed. Let a message because I got a hold of the other location. They never even called me back to try and reschedule. I took my daughter to another place. I am sure everyone has different experiences.

Fantastic experience: This is our 2nd time in. 1st for a check and x rays and today for fillings and a cap. The hygienists were so nice and the Dentist amazing. My 4 year old did not like the noise of the tools when doing the fillings and he was very difficult to handle (first time with any dental work). The dentist and hygienists who were assisting were so very patient with him and despite my little one hollering the whole process they were very good and gentle with him. It was not an easy time for anyone but I was very appreciative at how well they handled him.

Positive experience: I have changed my children's dental care several times in less than 5 years. Mainly because I haven't found one that I felt dealt with children very well, eventhough they advertised "family" or "pediatrics". The staff here are all so gentle, caring, and nice. They talked both my children through the process while I was able to watch as well. All questions were answered appropriately and professionally. We had to sit in the waiting area for a bit longer than I had hoped, but once we were in the back and x-rays complete, we were cleaned and checked in about 30 minutes. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the waiting room was a bit.... messy. The floor needed swept, the walls were dirty, and the bathroom needed some attention. As a 1st impression, I had concerns. But that wasn't a deal breaker for me and I'm able to say that I'm glad I moved my children here!

Fantastic experience: I've taken my child here since it was in a different place with a different name. Always the best tho!!! The hygienist are great!!! While we were there we saw EVERY age between my 15 year old and 2 tr old toddler. Each patient's needs were being seen to. Dr Michael Holmes is a great dentist!!!! My son had some anxiety before we found Dr Holmes. After that very first visit, it was completely gone!! I appreciate Dr. Holmes and his staff for being great at their jobs, but also considerate, patient, and kind!!!!! Always a 5 star!!!!

They also get your child in quick when they are in pain and fix the issue same day. My daughter had pain and was in and better within 24 hours. Thank you for taking care of my children!!!!!

Fantastic experience: THIS IS THE BEST PART OF ALL: THEY HAVE TVS ON THE CIELING OF THIS PLACE FOR KIDS TO BE ABLE TO LOOK AT! HOW COOL IS THIS? IT GETS THEIR MIND OFF THE ISSUE, OR IT CAN BE TURNED OFF..... My boys, ages 18, and 10, have never had one cavity... The staff has even taught me alot on caring for teeth. ...I would go here if I could. Lol. Everyone that I personally know,, LOVES IT HERE. My son is 18 now, and he will have to find an "adult" dentist, so he's not too happy. My kids feel comfortable here, and they just enjoy the nice people and the atmosphere. It is so quick, but the job is or gets done for sure! Dr.Holmes is super nice to us. He is polite, takes time with kids, and the biggest part is the Dental hygienist. All are kind and have well bedside manners. The staff make it easy to get in, remind me of appointments and also to work them in on a moments notice. The place is nice and so clean. The visits fly by, and my kids are always asking to go! So it is enjoyable, every time here. If you are trying to find a place, just try it out!! I think everyone would like the people, clean atmosphere, the process, location, just all of it all. Thanks! Thanks to you all......

Everyone there done amazing, keeping him calm, and being friendly and loving. They were very gentle and my son ended up doing great. In an out, pretty fast this day. I was very pleased. Hope they continue to be this great. We’ve tried several dentist trying to find the right one for us. So far I’m very pleased.

Fantastic experience: We have been going here for about a year now and I absolutely love everyone here. They have taken such good care of my kids, listened to our concerns. My daughters teeth grows a special way and requires extra care and work and they have done such a good job with her and making her feel heard when she has told them something hurts or bothers her. We have had to make a couple appointments due to pain or broken teeth and they got us in same day if not the next day. The girls are fantastic and the dentist actually takes his time to talk to the kids while he does his work instead of rushing around and not interact with them. We have had issues in the past with our previous dental office, which has lead to my children being scared of the dentist. The way he is with kids has helped so much and this has lead to having no issues when going to our appointments. I would recommend anyone to go here.

Fantastic experience: My 5 yr old lost his filling at school yesterday. His dentist isn’t open Fridays. Not only did they get him in last minutes. They were so quick and patient with him. I was extremely impressed with them.

Positive experience: My first experience at this dental facility was nice. I love that they allow parents to be with their children every step of the way. I have been to offices where they want parents to wait in the waiting area. That is a deal breaker for me so I walk out immediately. I was able to watch everything that happened and learn about my children’s care as it was happening. I will definitely bring them back.

Fantastic experience: Today I took my 9 year old grandson in for a cleaning and check up and was very impressed with how kid friendly the entire facility and staff are. Each person we interacted with did everything in their power to make my grandson feel comfortable and safe. The staff was very respectful of his questions and did everything they could to answer them in a positive way that he could understand. I would definitely recommend children and teens dental office to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Children and teen Dental of Gadsden always go above and beyond, from the welcoming everyone in and thanking them on the way out.The waiting area is children appropriate with children books and a movie. The staff is always great, everyone working there is always very helpful. Great atmosphere!

Positive experience: Everything was great, except the waiting part since our appt was at 1:30pm and we didn’t get called back until 2pm or after and got there way before a lot of the ppl that got called back before us. Other than that, great experience!

Negative experience: I do love the doctor but you better not be in a hurry when you come. They over book and make you wait for over an hour and there are no chairs to even sit because there are so many people. Its ridiculous.

He does better and better every visit . We appreciate the entire staff at children and teen dental.

Positive experience: The staff was friendly and the facility was clean but be prepared to wait! It was an hour before we were seen. The office was so chaotic with kids screaming and crying non-top—obviously no fault of the office, but I've honestly never experienced a child's dentist/doctor office that crazy.
