Fantastic experience: Very friendly dentist and staff. My first experience was definitely a positive one!

Negative experience: Paid for a crown less than 3 years ago. Crown is broken now and they will not replace it. Average life of a crown is 10 years. So I got a faulty product and they aren't willing to do anything about it except make me pay $800+ to replace it. No wonder my dental insurance stopped using them as a provider.

Fantastic experience: Having anxiety at its highest level about going to the dentist because the last dentist not only was painful but left part of the tooth in. With this experience with True Love Dentist not only was the numbing process not very painful, but I felt like he actually cared about the pain I was having and he was very comforting. Fantastic experience: I had a 7am appointment, I was seen right away. The receptionist and dental assistant were very nice! The doc was even better. Negative experience: The dentist is great. It’s the receptionist it needs work made me waste my time driving from DC back to Brunswick for an appointment that I had when I’m sitting in the parking lot just receptionist contact me and tells me they lost power and I’m watching people walk in to the Dennis office and the power is on she blatantly lied to me to cancel and the dentist appointment wasted my time they should really look into getting better scheduling.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sung did a great job removing my wisdom teeth, even though one was a bit challenging. They have a very comfortable atmosphere and I did not have to wait past my appointment time.

Negative experience: Edit 1: the response from true love is inaccurate as the 7 AM appointment was canceled by the front desk staff the day before the appointment. She was not a no-show. They also made no mention of a missed appointment when she made a new appointment for 3:30 the same afternoon. Felt the need to share that my mother had an exceedingly painful and rushed emergency root canal that left her in tears. The dentist was rude, dismissive of her pain, and seemed like he was in a hurry and all he prescribed her was Tylenol. This is unacceptable and I’m horrified that this happened to her here. Personally I have had scheduling problems with them lately and one of the hygienists is always too rough with me. This dentist used to be great and I’m not sure what’s happened in the past year. So disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was having pain in one of her bottom back teeth. I called True Love Dental on Tuesday & explained the situation. The person I spoke with was very friendly & was able to get her scheduled on Thursday (they are closed on Wednesday’s). Dr. Sung was really good at making my daughter feel at ease as she came in feeling a little nervous. He took x-rays and found that she needed a root canal. He explained everything to us and was able to do the procedure during her same visit. He was very professional and friendly. We have actually been looking for a new dentist to do our regular cleanings. We will be doing that at True Love Dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sung Was able to diagnose what was causing me pain very quickly, on my 1st visit. Something that my previous dentist hadn't been able to do all the years that I was her patient. He was very professional and explained what options I had. I opted to try to save the tooth, and Dr. Sung was able to correct the issue that was causing me pain, unfortunately there was too much damage from years of no treatment for the issue. In the end I had to have my tooth extracted. Dr. Sung once again performed the procedure efficiently and with great care for my well-being. I would highly recommend him to anyone that requires dental care.

Fantastic experience: Even with a saggy face and a bloody mouth(as pictured), I could not stop smiling during and after my appointment. Doctor Sung and all staff were amazing! Before I went to True Love, I saw two different doctors, who were extremely dismissive and scolded me for not yet seeing an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth. They did not provide or explain other options, nor seemed to care much about my pain. Conversely, Doctor Sung removed the problem tooth within minutes of my arrival. He answered all my questions prior, was so welcoming and jovial, and was understanding when I accidentally kicked the monitor above the bed while my tooth was pulled (sorry again!). He was empathetic to my pain and fears and did not start any procedures until he confirmed with me that I was comfortable. I was so relieved and happy, that my friend who drove me thought that I was given laughing gas Thanks a million True Love Team

Fantastic experience: Dr Sung is first class in every way! I had been dealing with a root canal that went bad from another dentist and he was able to get me In to be seen same day I called actually it wasn't even 2 hours later. You can tell he really cares about the patients well being. He took the time to discuss my options and any fears I had. Have a follow up Thursday I believe I found my forever dental home now. Just really a super nice down to earth super friendly guy that in its self puts you at ease. Thanks for all your help Dr Sung.

They manage scheduling well so that they are available when I need them (even on short notice) — and they don’t keep patients waiting in the reception area for a long time. Fantastic experience: The entire staff and Dr. Sung were very friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. They do a great job providing appointment reminders via text and a phone call which I think is great. This appointment in particular was to address some sensitivity I’ve had with a procedure done at my previous dentist and Dr. Sing was quick to diagnose the issue and create a quick fix to my pain without needing a root canal. I was in and out in ten minutes and feel much better. Dr. Sung was very friendly and interested in me as a patient and a person. They have won me over to become my primary care dentist in the area and I highly encourage anyone calling Brunswick or the surrounding area home to use them for your dental care. They are top class! Fantastic experience: Updated Oct 2023: still happy. Reasonable prices, prompt and convenient service, very high quality of work. Crown and root canal have held up very well. Very highly recommended. Dr. Sung and his team make every part of the dentist visit painless. They have hours early in the day and in the evening to work around your schedule. They have text reminders for upcoming appointments. They stay on schedule and when you arrive you will be seen at your appointment time, but the waiting room is comfortable. Their hygenist is very skilled and can perform peri cleanings and other deep cleanings with very little discomfort. Dr. Sung uses the latest technologies and can discuss every aspect of the clinical work at a level you can understand. Finally, they work with your insurance company to develop treatment plans, even when they require multiple visits. I hated going to the dentist until I heard about True Love Dental, but Dr. Sung has won me over. I could not recommend him or his practice more highly.

Negative experience: Dr. Sung, I just wanted to let you know what I have been through in the last few weeks because I trusted you and your care. I had to have the tooth pulled under my caps (which was holding the dummy caps in place). This was due to the tooth decay under the tooth you did a root canal on. Same tooth I have complained about since root canal. This could have been prevented if the X-ray had been read properly. Now I have no teeth on my upper left side and a partial. Plus I’m $3,000 poorer. Also, I’m now looking at having the wisdom tooth under my gums removed. The same one you said I didn’t have to worry about. It is impacted and causing my jaw bone to deteriorate. I’m looking at a lot of dangerous things that could happen. The surgeon said my jaw may possibly fracture during the procedure. This is an additional $3,635.00 I have to pay as my Delta Dental insurance ended August 1st. That’s $6,635.00 cash i have to pay out of pocket on retirement pay. I just don’t understand how this could possibly be happening since I was very diligent about my teeth health. I trusted and relied on you as my dentist to take care of me. I was just in your office August 15 for my teeth cleaning. I made my appointment with you but you were not there and I saw another man. He looked at an old X-rays and said my tooth was abscess and gave me antibiotics. I told your receptionist when I arrived that my insurance was canceled. I paid for the cleaning before I went back into a room for the cleaning. What a surprise when I received a letter from Delta Dental saying that my claim was denied because my insurance was cancelled. Then to see on the claim that your office charged for X-rays, floride treatment and cleaning. That’s double billing for cleaning as I already paid for it. Then the billing for X-rays and floride treatment that never happened. I’m just totally confused, frustrated and totally blown away by this whole situation. I felt that you should be aware of what has happened to me, so that maybe someone else won’t have to go through the same situation. All I can say is that I am heartbroken, frustrated and disappointed.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting True Love Dental. I had a crown break and they fit me in to get the ball rolling on fixing it. So far everyone I met there was very nice and the doctor was very helpful and informative. I am actually looking forward to going back to finish the work and have some more work done. Negative experience: Was really hard to get through to anyone for an appointment. Filled out contact form and no one ever replied. Called and they took message for a scheduler to call me. Never heard back. Finally go through to person and they told me the do not take any more clients who have Delta Dental Insurance which is the top insurance in the county. All DOD and govt employees have it for one example. Have no idea how they are so highly rated. I had to spell my first name 4 times before they got it correct and it is only 4 letters.

Fantastic experience: I had horrible tooth pain. Tooth needed a root canal or to be pulled. The earliest any dentist would see me was Wednesday. Pain was almost unbearable. True Love dental got me in the day I called them crying because the pain was so bad. They did the root canal and gave me instant relief. I’ve been going to another area dentist office in Frederick, and I wasn’t particularly happy with the quality of care and service that I’d once received when I initially started going there. So, coming to this office was such a refreshing experience. First and foremost, it started with me setting up my appointment. The gentleman whom assisted me, I believe his name was, John, and he was so incredibly friendly. I think he was overwhelmingly one of the reasons why I had the best vibes about switching from my previous dentist office to this one. Once I arrived, I knew that I’d made the right choice. May I begin by saying that I loved how neat and clean the office was presented, and it smelled delightful! The front desk receptionist, Lincoln, checked me in and she was super nice and welcoming. My dental hygienist, Rachel, was THE BEST! I enjoyed talking to her, and she was so gentle super friendly! Dr. Lee was wonderful as well. He was thorough while completing his oral examination of my teeth and mouth. I had a concern about one of my teeth, and Dr. Lee and Rachel were so great in their assessment of my teeth before giving me their professional advice and opinions. I greatly appreciated their honesty and insight. When Rachel was finished with my cleaning my mouth felt so clean! Fantastic experience: Really great experience all-around. I called for an emergency visit and the staff member who booked my appointment was very sympathetic and got me in the next open business day (I had called while they were just closing on a Saturday). She was very friendly and informative. The office texted me a link to fill out all pertinent information online. I really liked not having to fill anything out when I arrived for my appointment. I showed up 15 mins early and they actually took me back for my appointment on time, no extra waiting! The doctor was in the room within a few minutes of me sitting down. He was extremely friendly. He explained everything very thoroughly and answered all my questions and did not rush me and offered a couple of options for treatment and a follow-up visit. I felt like he was very competent and knew what he was doing. The office staff and assistants seem very organized and knowledgeable. They also have a sign in their waiting room with an advertisement for a treatment plan that they offer for people without insurance and it looks like a great deal. Highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I have had two procedures and both were good experiences. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled that got infected and it was done so that I hardly felt anything! Amazing. I have other procedures to book and this will be my forever dentist he is great and so is the staff. They also book you in right away! Excellent

Fantastic experience: Everyone was extremely friendly and understanding of all my issues. From the time I walked in “ I was just really Early “ till I was seen by the hygienist Rachel who was just Lovely and easygoing and made me feel very comfortable till I saw Dr. Sung he didn’t need to spend much time with me but in the time spent I was able to point out specific concerns and he assured me he could take care of it. I was able to schedule an appointment ASAP for that small issue and my next cleaning and I was done and on my way… I would definitely give Dr. Sung and his staff a heads up if you’re looking for a dentist in the Area! Fantastic experience: As new patients, this office was so kind, understanding, and accommodating!! They were thorough and did a great job at providing very helpful feedback and education. Not to mention, they were amazing with our two year old, completing his first cleaning with ease. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I have a huge fear of dental work and shy away from visiting dentists if at all possible. Yesterday I broke a front crown with tooth down to the gum. I called True Love Dental and they got me an appointment the very next morning. I walked in with my small comfort stuffie (yes, I'm that scared), sunglasses and tissues. They were all about my comfort. They explained each step. Made sure to let my anxiety levels lower between procedures and did their best to engage with me and keep me calm. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit at true love dental. Andrea did my cleaning and she did a really good job my teeth feel so fresh and clean! Mr sung spoke with me as well about the future health of my teeth and services they offer. All around everyone was so nice and helpful. I’d recommend them to friends and family!!!

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying that I am absolutely petrified of the dentist! Dr. Sung at True Love dental put me at ease by "actually" listening to me before deciding on the best treatment plan for me. We started with an initial couple of visits which went very well, and now I am moving into phase two of our plan. I really like the calm demeanor of the dentist and his ability to listen and not rush. Dr. Sung has given me the confidence to move forward with additional dental work that I have wanted to do for years and have put off because of fear. I highly recommend this dental office!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to True Love Dental by a family member. The entire staff is welcoming. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist, but this practice has changed that for me. They show that they really care about your needs as well as your fears. I can’t recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: Great staff! Everyone was super friendly (including the dentist), I even had my time wrong and was late and they still saw my daughter. You're not just another #, I felt right at home like we were friends and had been going there for years. I had to take my younger child with me and they were all so sweet to her. I also liked them because they're not like a lot of other dentists, it's not like a "hurry up so I can move on to the next" kind of attitude. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you True Love Dental!

Fantastic experience: Usually, I do not post my observations. This is an exception. Time & time again, Love Dental in Brunswick has surpassed my idea of a perfect dental visit. The knowledge & professionalism of the receptionist, billing specialist, dental assistants and the dentist (owner) himself is evident during my every visit or phone call. They work so well together that I can see the office training is thorough and motivating. Over the past two years I’ve had cleanings, fillings, whitening and other services & have never been disappointed. The dental equipment is state of the art. Low cost with good coverage insurance is offered for those without insurance. I’ve explained to others in my life about my wonderful experiences here and some have switched dentists to here and are very happy.
