Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews but I will make the exception for this place. Getting an appointment for care these days takes months, but not here. Already being nervous, I got lost and it put me behind my appointment time. I walked in and was greeted kindly and respectfully. Wow! If other receptionists would follow her actions, places could be happier and that feeling would be felt upon walking in the door. Just as I did here. Kudos to you. I am telling you everyone from the receptionist to the dentist himself are all just so plain nice! Something rare. Also rare, was, they take time with you, makes you feel important, and like you matter. You do not wait half an hour in a room waiting to only be rushed out after being seen for a minute. They tell you everything to expect so no surprises on your end. I could continue on and on singing their praises but I will stop here so you can make an appointment with them to see for yourself. 2 thumbs way up for Affordable Dentures in Kinston. Fantastic experience: I could not be any happier than I am now with my smile. I had 23 teeth extracted back in 2019 and never could get use to my dentures. Fast forward 6 years of wearing no teeth decided to look into permanent dentures and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Patel and his team have been superb, going above and beyond. I have my smile back. Fantastic experience: The place was neat and clean. COVID social distance and mask regulations were being observed. The wait was not excessive. All of the various options were clearly described. All of my remaining teeth were extracted at my second appointment and a temporary set of dentures were made and fitted. I have only had to return one time for an adjustment. Overall it was a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: My experience has bern very satisfactory with the care I have received both today and in prior visits over a two year span. The office staff was cordial upon my arrival. I had received & completed a form online prior to my visit which made the check in process very efficient and brief. Dr. Patel and his support staff were very thorough in my exam. His explanation of what dental work needed to be completed helped me to better understand my treatment. Communication is key in any experience. I have had partials previously prepared by Dr. Patel and his team with great care and satisfaction. My satisfactory experience today is exactly as my prior visits! Fantastic experience: For years I put off getting new dentures. I finally “ bit the bullet” and just came for a consultation. Four hours later I am leaving with my new dentures in place. I already left a five star review but this is to update that I can eat potato chips and bugles for snacks now and had corn flakes for breakfast! Eating good with no problems. It has been one week today and I am totally satisfied with the team that helped me and with the product!!

Negative experience: Went several times for adjustment for dentures told the problem still doesn't fit right. Food gets under my dentures have to take out and add more.glue.fits poorly and they won't correct it.just do a patch up job not satisfied at all.

Fantastic experience: My experience was great! Showed up at my 8am appointment time, signed a paper since it's my first time there, and 5min later, I was already doing my X-ray and consultation! For full top dentures and a partial on the bottom, cost me about $2,500 only because I went with Ultra Premium dentures since I plan to do snap-in dentures later on down the road! Staff is friendly, clean facility, they don't judge anyone for having bad teeth like some dentist will do! I recommend this place for everyone!!!!

Negative experience: On June 12, 2025 I had my appointment at affordable dentures in Kinston NC. My experience was horrible. I was there to get scans of my teeth that was pulled on prior visit which was bad as well. I was called back and Yatri Patel was doing my scan. I was in 1 room and had to move to another room. Now to began the nightmare. Yatri called another tech in the room with a laptop. She came to the room with gloves already on and had the laptop. She sat the laptop down. Yatri had the device scanning around my teeth. She placed a handful of gauze ontop of a sterile tray that was covered in plastic. She grabbed a gauze to wipe my saliva to keep my mouth dry as it needed to not have any fluid showing in the scan. She tossed the gauze back onto sterile field and she grabbed that same gauze and wiped my saliva a second time, then a third time. She went to grab it a 4th time and I said can you get a clean gauze please and through that one away. She stated "why its your saliva." I said "you will not put that used gauze back in my mouth because I dont want that same gauze with old saliva and wetness to keep going in my mouth. Its nasty." Yatri sighed and then did not continue to wipe my saliva anymore. I paused after about 1-2 minutes and said "so are mad and not going to dry the saliva from my mouth anymore. It is building up and you are not pausing to allow me to swallow.?" Yatri stated " No I am not mad. I just dont need to pat dry anymore." I stated "You went from constantly wiping to no wiping. " she stated "I dont need to wipe that much." She calmed down after that and began using clean gauze and wiping my saliva. In between the scans the tech with laptop would erase areas on the scan to get the best picture for the mold for my partials. Yatri then intercepted and began leaving my mouth and erasing to get better precise image of teeth on the laptop. She never took her gloves off and preceded to tell me to open my mouth so she could continue with the scan. I stated "Can you change your gloves please?" Yatri stated "Why?" I said "because you just scanned my mouth, typed on laptop after the tech was typing on it with gloves that she came in room with and then you proceeded to go back in my mouth with the same gloves on." Yatri stated "You are something else." I stated why because I won't let you put dirty gloved hands in my mouth"? Yatri snatched the gloves off and left the room and came back in with gloves on. I stated why are you walking in hallway with gloves? I've been seeing all of staff go room to room with gloves on and yall come in room already with gloves on. No one is washing hands either. Yatri stated "That's because we have to go to another room to get medium gloves." I stated why are gloves not in every room? Yall have a problem with infection control and sanitation. It is very poor. The way you talk to patients is absolutely unacceptable. Yatri completed her task and went to get Dr Patel to give final approval on images. I believe he is her husband. He approved and then asked me what color I wanted teeth. He said it was different shades. He grabbed a model and put next to my teeth and then he grabbed another one, but this time he actually laid it onto my gums. I immediately pulled away and said dont put on my mouth. He just looked at me and so oh "I'm sorry. There is nothing wrong with it." I said "yeah it is. I dont know where it has been or how many more mouths you put it in. Don't do that. Yall have infection control issues here. We completed the process. I checked out. I now have to go back for my fitting. This was a very bad experience. After I pick up my partials I will never come back here again. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone ever. Just bite the bullet and pay more money elsewhere because it's not worth it. They are nasty and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, above board, wonderful staff. Extremely efficient. Short waiting times to get started. This is stage 1 of my journey to get partials. This visit was for consultation for a abscessed tooth . They recognized other issues I had been putting off because I couldn't find a surgeon in my plan. It was covered here. Amazing. I asked when would we do the multiple extractions. He said now...today. They said go have a meal etc. and be back in 2 hours. In no time it was over and done with. I'm still amazed at how well I was treated and how much better I feel just 2 days after having 6 teeth removed. They were making my life miserable time and again. I advise anyone to not hesitate getting treatment if These associates in Kinston are the staff doing the job. I am looking forward to getting my partials next for sure!

Positive experience: The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. Ashawnti Royal who fit my dentures for me was so nice and helpful and thanks to her a have beautiful teeth that fit great. The dentist was so nice and did his best not to hurt me and the hygienist in there with him was so sweet and kind reassuring me the whole time. The girls up front were awesome as well. It was a good experience considering what I had 10 teeth pulled. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 stars was I had to wait almost an hour to be seen because they were overbooked. Even with that I would recommend them.

Negative experience: In my 60 years of living I had the worst experience ever with the Kinston location. I had teeth extracted had so many shots before pain started to relieve. I'm left now with dry sockets very painful as I also have an exposed root from a tooth they broke while extracting it. I went back for follow up, doctor could care less about me pain or a broken root.. It's as if they took my insurance money and ran. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Ive never experienced this much pain and I've had two back surgeries. And my teeth are worse. Advice go someplace else.

Fantastic experience: I'm only halfway through the first 6 months of my denture journey. I'm currently in my immediate dentures and I will be getting my Ultra Premium dentures after the 6 months healing period. Dr. Patel and his staff have been wonderful! As my gums are healing and shrinking, and my immediate dentures become loose, I have needed several adjustments. They're quick to get me scheduled for my adjustments and get back on my way. I can't hardly wait to get my permanent dentures in the next few months.

From the receptionist, the impressions, the surgery, and the ones that delivered my dentures. Everyone treated me with kindness and compassion. The surgery went flawless. It was the best numbing experience I have had at a dentist office. The actual surgery went by in a blink of an eye. Great job from everyone at Affordable Dentures and Implants in Kinston NC. ****UPDATE**** I am changing my review from my 1 star review which is below to 3 stars. Since my consultation this location has went above and beyond to make my first experience better. I will update again after my surgery. I spent almost a hour there waiting for them to come up with a treatment plan. They were unable to do so. I was told it would be the following week before they would get back to me with one. The doctor there wasn't very compassionate. He seemed focused only on selling me the highest package possible. In the paper work I was asked about request and concerns and none of them were addressed

Positive experience: Had warranty repair in my bottom denture, wore another set of teeth to drop them off got back after 22:30 lady at desk said they were done but had to wait to have them fit. I told her they fit fine , I don't have the upper part with me , just let me see if the one tooth was repaired and I can go . She wouldn't give them to me, I had to sit 3 hr, then I was called in the back they handed them to me. They could of done that 3hr ago. . What a waist of my time. I had a hour and 15 min drive so sat there all day. But the teeth were repaired very good. Dr. Patel was very good. .the lady at the front desk was very wrong .

Positive experience: I had went with the intent of getting teeth extracted which they set me up with a consultation even though I had explained prior I had X-rays , went at 9 had an extremely rude Latina lady which ruined my experience up until I met the other staff who were extremely nice. They don’t do surgeries until 11 pm so I had been there since 8:30 am didn’t leave until after noon. Overall price is affordable in comparison to other dental clinics in the surrounding area for miles. I would recommend this place to friends and family but they need to work on the young ladies customer service and overall interaction with her makes you feel like a burden. Would have rated higher.

Positive experience: I just got my final dentures. Fit is not very good as was my first set. Since 70 miles away, I modify my dentures myself. After spending $4k one would think they could do better job. Assembly line type service is not what I expected. Affordable Dentures yes. Quality Not so much. Just saying.

Fantastic experience: Stephen needed special dentures due to a rare bite configuration. The entire staff did a great job. They also extracted 6 bottom teeth. We returned 5 days later when he was in a lot of pain. They knew exactly how to fix it. We were in and out in less than ten minutes with no pain. Great job and great service. We are from NH. We have so same day dentures where we live. Thanks so much to the entire staff! Please note that MAY was the fine young woman that helped us. She was awesome. On a scale of 1 to 10 she is off the charts at a 12. She deserves a big raise for sure. Thank you
