Fantastic experience: I was looking for a Dentist I felt comfortable with since I have a fear of Dentist. This was my first experience with Dr. Ghori and Lyric. They were patient, kind and did an amazing job with a crown I needed. They really do not know how much I appreciate the work they did.

Negative experience: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ANY LANE OFFICE. TWICE THEY HAVE TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR SERVICE THAT MY INSURANCE COVERS 100%. THE STAFF ANSWERS THE PHONE HOW CAN I MAKE YOU SMILE BUT WHEN YOU GO TO CHECK IN THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND DON'T SMILE WHEN TALKING TO YOU MAYBE THE STAFF SHOULD FIND ANOTHER DENTIST TO MAKE THEM SMILE. I HAVE BEEN TO TWO DIFFERENT OFFICES AND BOTH WERE VERY DATED AND THE EXAM CHAIRS ARE WORN OUT AND YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR GOING TO FALL OFF BECAUSE THEY ARE SO UNEVEN. YOU CANNOT REACH DR. LANE IF YOU TRY AND YET HE ADVERTISES LIKE HE IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED. SERIOUSLY FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST THAT CARES AND DELIVERS TRUE CUSTOMER CARING SERVICE, YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE!

Negative experience: True commercialized dentistry!!! All they were worried about was the up-sale!!! I have had the same insurance for years always had my teeth cleaned every visit. They tried to up-sale me and when I would t go for it they told me they couldn’t do my cleaning that day I would have to come back!! Still haven’t heard back from them!!

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my mother received during her appointment today. She tried to explain herself and an older white lady with shorter hair named Renee was incredibly rude. She rolled her eyes, huffed, and cut my mom off multiple times, showing no patience or understanding, especially considering English is not my mom’s first language. The attitude continued even when a Spanish speaking staff member was called in. My mom could communicate with her without feeling like a burden, but Renee continued to interrupt and be dismissive. Once the younger lady left, Renee’s behavior made my mom feel like an inconvenience. The rude attitude went on, making the entire interaction uncomfortable and disrespectful. This seemed like a pattern of behavior, not a one-time incident. It’s upsetting to know my mom was treated this way. Everyone deserves respect and patience, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I have been going here for almost 3 years and for the first time in my life, I don’t dread the dentist. Rosa the hygienist is amazing and I love Dr. Howarth too! They make you feel comfortable, address concerns, and an overall pleasant atmosphere.

Negative experience: Every visit has been horrible. The previous visit the dentist did numb me right and I felt her drilling. I had to yell at her to stop and then she insisted she just finish even if I wasn't fully numb and in pain. The next appointment they canceled on me the day before and couldn't see me for 3 months. I waited three months and in that time I moved and my number changed. I arrived on time to my appointment after driving an hour and 20 minutes only to get told they cancelled my appointment the day before because I didn't confirm via text. They didn't care they had already delayed my care by 3 months, drove over an hour and am about to lose insurance because supposedly "so many people are no shows" and they have so many people on a "waiting list." A waiting list I was never offered btw.

Negative experience: Will upcharge your for services without telling you. Will try to recommend services that are not needed. When confronted will do absolutely nothing to correct on their end. The patient does not come first at this establishment. Rude.

Negative experience: I had a " custom" denture made from this so-called office. First year, first crack. 18 months in second crack! I paid $2300! Now to even look at this thing THEY produced, they want $200 to tell me yeah that's a crack?? Really! Absolutely the worst dental office in Sanford! I'll be taking this to the NC Dental Board!

Fantastic experience: Having suffered from extreme temperature sensitivity for several weeks, Dr. Carlos Camargo at Lane & Associates recommended a root canal. This was NOT what i wanted to hear. But after the initial consultation with the Dr. and his assistant Teresa, I was put at ease and agreed to the procedure. Dr. Camargo and Teresa performed the procedure in a manner that kept me comfortable and at ease the entire time. I left with my pain alleviated and no longer sensitive to food and drink temperatures. I would highly recommend this team at Lane & Associates for expert root canal work.

Negative experience: Lane and Associates = THE WORST DENTAL OFFICE IN SANFORD!!!!!!!!!!!! The office manager, Megan, is extremely unprofessional and rude. I had a defective filling, that I complained about multiple times. The entire thing fell out after only having it for less than 3 months, and for them to look in my mouth and tell me that there’s nothing they can do, they tried to charge me for an exam. And when I inquired about the charges and what the appointment was coded as, she became combative and would not let me talk. I have never been so disrespected by a place of business in my life. Beware of them and their bad/unethical business practices!!!!!

Negative experience: After terribly botching a root canal that took six months to complete, I show up without an appointment with an incredibly severe abscess. The front desk was unsympathetic, told me I’d probably sit there all day to be seen because I didn’t have an appointment and when I was literally crying in the waiting room because of the incredible pain she brushed me off as drug seeking. If anyone had just looked in my mouth it would have been obvious!!!! I had to go to urgent care where I was told that I could have easily ended up with sepsis and died because the abscess was so severe. NEVER GOING BACK

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gregg Howarth & Logan (Dental Assistant) was/are absolutely stupendous!!!! I have a ton of dental issues & BOTH of them made sure to address all of my concerns along the way! Logan ALWAYS has a VERY POSITIVE & PLEASANT ATTITUDE and she Greets me and smiles from ear to ear when I see her or she she’s me; she is just AWESOME! Also; Dr. Howarth is brilliant he is VERY THROUGH with whatever dental procedure he is completing!! And He made sure I wasn’t in pain 100% he is amazing as well!!!! Most times he would have my prescription ready BEFORE he came in to see me; now that’s a doctor that TRULY CARES & pays VERY CLOSE ATTENTION! I think his silly funny personality is great!! It makes a procedure way more bearable!! & I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER TEAM!!!!!!! I SINCERELY APPRECIATE ALL OF THE ASSISTANCE FROM ALL OF MY HEART YOU ALL ARE FANTASTIC!!

Fantastic experience: 100% Recommend this office!!! I would start off by saying I am a retired Vet that uses VA benefits. Using VA can be tough and frustrating to get out of network coverage approved. Ashley up front has worked magic to get quick turnarounds on my request! So if you are a VA person, they can get it done! Heather and Dr Kristine were super professional and courteous throughout my procedure. I felt calm and they kept it that way. Thank you to the team at Lane and Associates!

Positive experience: Good dentist though I came in filled out paperwork about a week or two ago and had an apt set up March. They didn't bother to use my updated contact info that I filled out to contact me about them canceling my apt they used old numbers. I don't understand the point of filling out the paperwork and updating my contact info if they werent gonna use it. Took time off work and drove across town just to find out they canceled my apt. Next availability in August, with a possibility of getting in sooner if someone cancels. Make sure your contact info is updated in their computer system as filling out the paperwork doesn't mean anything.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful people work here. Very courteous. Wasn't able to have the work I needed because of health issue but they were very informative and concerned to give me antibiotics and a special trip to my primary to get the issue corrected, so I could smile again. Negative experience: This is a Very pleasant dental office. I’m changing my review due to after a couple of years going there. I have realized that when compared to my last dentist that I really loved, but had to change due to insurance changes, the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth, took a total of 4 to 5 minutes to clean them, there is no way my teeth were cleaned in the way they should be. I thought maybe she’s new and it’s just a one time thing. However, each dental hygienist I had was a different one, and the same thing happened again and again - I can clean my teeth better with my toothbrush. I stopped going there and advised my son to stop going there. Also the part that they advertise about giving free whitening strips is also kind of sketchy I receive my first ones, but it is excuse the expression “like pulling teeth” to get more. They act as if you are bothering them to request the free whitening strips. Other than this the office is clean there are several people in the front office to take your information. That is the only pluses I can give this place.

Fantastic experience: This is my go-to dentistry, they're always so careful with me and this is first dentist I've been to where I haven't felt any pain when they're taking care of my cavities. Shoutout to Rosa Maria, she is an excellent dental hygienist.

Negative experience: I don’t understand all of the good reviews. The only positive thing about my visit was that everyone was friendly. The hygienist told me my X-rays had specific issues; the dentist should be the only one going over my X-rays with me. She also tried to get me to look at the x rays, as if I have any idea how to read dental X-rays. The dentist barely spent 2 mins with me before leaving and the hygienist said I needed a deep clean and to come in every 90 days for maintenance. I have 0 issues with my teeth and gums so I declined. I asked them to clean my teeth since I took the time out of my busy schedule to come in and she said they wouldn’t clean my teeth, I would have to come back once they scheduled the “deep clean” obviously they lost my business. Felt very scammy. If you’re so concerned about my teeth at least clean them today?!? I’ll be going to a local place and not this chain where they try to upsell you on dental care

Negative experience: Ouch! Had 3 cavities filled here and JFC! My dental care in the Army was far better than this.. Got shot up with Novocaine and then sat there twiddling my thumbs for 30 min. whilst the only actual dentist there, saw other patients, doing a ton of serious work (it’s a very open place, you can hear everything). I knew that some guy’s insurance wasn’t picking up the tab, as my face went paralyzed.. When I was finally seen, this was the most painful cavity fill job I’ve ever experienced. I am still in pain 15+ hours later. I have extra concrete on my teeth, now that the numbness has subsided, & my jaw is sore af. I am going to another dentist tomorrow, to fix this hack job. This was my 2nd bad experience here.. Avoid at all costs.

Positive experience: I had my first appointment with Lane & Associates yesterday. Ms. Rosa the hygienist was super nice but the cleaning felt very rushed, and I didn’t have that super clean, feels like you just got your whole mouth pressure washed feeling after the appointment. The dentist seemed nice as well, but none of the things Ms. Rosa pointed out (evidence of grinding, cracked filling) while cleaning my teeth seemed to be a concern to the dentist since he didn’t say anything about me having any issues. It just felt like there was a disconnect when the hygienist was telling me all these things and then the dentist said everything looks good and sent me on my way. I am happy to come back but expect more thorough service or would prefer to see a different hygienist.

Negative experience: Dee at the front desk is going to be the demise of this place. She is the most power hungry glorified receptionist I have ever encountered. Every single time I come here she is horrible and has some nasty remark to make to show her “authority” or to control any aspect possible. She has zero respect for your patients and zero care for how she treats and responds to people. Let me say it one more time LANE AND ASSOCIATES DEE IS A PROBLEM FOR YOU God forbid you need to use the restroom Dee will have a problem with it. I literally hate coming here just because of her.
