Negative experience: Trying to reschedule appointments less than 48 hours of appointment due to staffing issues. Not a reliable source of healthcare.

Negative experience: Poor communication, unprofessional personal conversations between doctor and hygienist about other employees and what they did after hours while working inside my mouth to fix my filling. NOT impresses, when back in to get my filling fixed again and the girl that scheduled me said it was a chipped tooth and scheduled a cleaning and I would not be having my filling done that day. This location doesn't know their right hand from their left. or is it their left from the right LOL

Negative experience: Let me start by saying I have never written a negative review and hope I do not have the occasion to again. The beginning of the week I, happily drove over 100 miles to the clinic as I have been suffering from broken and other tooth issues. The initial staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable with my decision to go there. Dentist Crawford looked in my mouth, asked a couple of questions and wrote me a prescription for 2 medications. I asked why she wouldn't do any extractions? She said "You do not want me to do that". With no other explanation and I felt it wasn't an answer to my question at all? She suggested I return to my very rural area and get on their 9 to 12 month waiting list. I explained I cannot work or function like this. There was zero compassion from her. I left there in the same horrible pain but also feeling truly depressed and completely hopeless. I am now on my 4th night of not being able to sleep longer than a hour or two at a time withoutthe pain waking me up. And, even worse, no plan on how to proceed.

Fantastic experience: They were amazingly friendly and never once asked me questions when I couldn't answer.

Negative experience: Dr. Alison Ladd has terrible bedside manner. Belittled my 9 year old son. Calling him a "cry baby" because she was hurting him. Ladd didn't give the numbing shots a chance to work before she went in and started drilling on his teeth. When my brave son would raise his hand to let Ladd know he was hurting, she would throw her hands up and belittle him more. And when I call to try and talk to someone about the situation, they refuse to call me back. My son now refuses to see a dentist again.

Fantastic experience: I've had two visits here, both were excellent. I found the entire staff to be friendly, informative, and happy in general. The dentist and both hygienists were very kind and professional. I was informed (without asking) before my procedure what my insurance would cover and then given the choice whether to continue. I've never come across this before at any medical facility.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience here on Aug 13th I'm gonna find another dentist in town P.S. being put in fear of extractions and all that stuff is not my cup of tea ,you guys almost made me cry and it was very scary to me.so that's why I'm gonna find a new dentist who doesn't put you in fear as a new patient unnecessary to do this . all I wanted to do was get out of there badly,I won't be coming back . My lady dentist Carla I had had never put me in fear at her dental office,never terrified me ,never made me cry at all.she always made me laugh ,talked to me face to face ,never looked out the door . community dental your hygienist told me August 13th that she didn't pay attention to her at all,you guys didn't tell me if I had any cavities no nothing ,I was put through unnecessary fear and was terrified by your employees.my blood was probably sky high due to this.your hygienist is suppose to polish teeth first not floss teeth first she did it very wrong ,she told me she wasn't paying to her job because she was yapping to your employee instead of concentrating on her job. The lady who took my X-rays was rude to me to ,it really wasn't necessary that she had to take 19 X-rays.no other dental office takes 19 X-rays at all.this was ridiculous for your employee to do.completely unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: Truly one of the best dental experiences I have ever had ! I truly have major dental anxiety and when I had an emergency they were able to get me right in and treat me with compassion and care !! 10/10 would recommend !

Positive experience: It's a real life saver to be able to walk in and be seen in an emergency and get help, however trying to reach someone to set up an appointment is impossible. Also one of the dentist needs to really work on his bedside manners and have more compassion and empathy for the patients. Being rude and insensitive is an ugly look and just shows you're in the wrong line of business. But at the end of the day I'm grateful for not being in pain anymore. Could be 5 stars with better customer service, answer the phones and have some compassion for your patients. For the record, this dentist is rude regardless if its an appointment or a walk in. Do better sir.

Fantastic experience: The staff are so welcoming. And especially comforting. I had a horrendous experience at a different dentist as a teenager and refused to go back. I ended up with a horrible toothache at 32years old. Someone recommended MCD and I went with it. I was shaking and crying due to anxiety and PTSD. The staff was so comforting and understanding. Dr Marchant was so calm and precise. Now, 8 month later, I am very close to having the smile I have dreamed of. This wouldn’t have been possible without him easing my nerves. He was so patient, compassionate and kind. He never made bad comments about the poor state of my teeth like other dentists have in the past. Due to this, I have gotten my dad, daughters and fiancé into see him. We are all back on track to healthy smiles! Thank you, Dr. Marchant and staff for making this dream come true. I cannot say enough good things about you and i will continue to recommend you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: This dental office is hands down the best I have ever been to. The staff is all super friendly and the environment is very welcoming and comfortable. They got me in for same day emergency extractions and literally saved my life since the abscessed tooth was being resistance to antibiotics and was making me super sick. I asked if they could pull all 6 of the really bad teeth and with no hesitation they agreed and not long after they were out and I almost instantly felt better. I even received a call the next day from the amazing assistant to check on me and that truly warmed my heart. I am going back very soon to have my remaining teeth pulled and while I am not looking forward to the extractions myself I do find comfort in knowing that I am in the best hands. Doctor Allison has a calming demeanor and she was so fast that in the time one would think it would take to pull one tooth she had all 6 out and I was on my way home.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with scheduling and Dr Marchant and Amy Elizabeth made my tooth extraction just a breeze. I knew all I could expect, and was pleasantly surprised about ease, precision and speed of procedure. Friendly efficient care. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Today was actually my second visit to "My Community Dental Center ~ Marquette," but my first was more a dental emergency visit. This time was a dental cleaning and initial oral exam, setting the picture for future care visits. I'm terrible with names, but you all know of whom I speak when I mention those at the front desk, the dental hygienist and the Dentist herself. I was the one with the walking stick that garnered many comments of interest. My visit was most enjoyable as a result of the great effort made by all involved and I'm looking forward to future visits and getting all of my dental needs tended to. All this being said, I'll definitely be recommending this office to others in need of such care.

Fantastic experience: Idk which Marquette dentist rescued me at their clinic, but he’s my hero!!! On a day they were short staffed, he still treated me on emergency when no other dentist would. Negative experience: The staff at this clinic is fine. The dentist is cruel and uncaring. She pulled two of my teeth out without the Novacaine taking affect and that was the last straw. Good luck if you go there.

Negative experience: I had to changemy 5 star to a 1 star because lack of professionalism! I had an appointment on Monday at 8:40 am and I wound up with the flu that weekend, still not feeling the best, I called a little after 8 to call and see if I could reschedule, no answer, hung up and called again, I called about 5 times lol I just didn't want to be dropped as a client or charged for an appointment that I wasn't able to make . Well the 5th time I left a message as it was getting closer to my appointment time. I was like ok nothing I can do , I tried. So I called again this morning (several times)no answer, I don't understand. It's frustrating that you have to call and wait along time before you even get an answering machine and then they don't even call you back. I guess it's time for a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dental care makes me really nervous and uncomfortable and I was in for a potentially painful procedure today. Their kindness and fun conversation distracted me from my discomfort and inspired enough trust to allow me to relax a little. I appreciate that they let me know what to expect beforehand and also talked to me while they were working. I'm glad it's over and I'm really grateful for the care I received. I would highly recommend Dr. Alison and My Community Dental for compassionate care.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at My Community Dental in Marquette! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Usually, there is at least some pain/discomfort at the dentist, but the staff did an excellent job making my cleaning pain free and easy!

Negative experience: I wasn't sure about posting this or not but just in case someone else goes through this I decided to say something. A couple months ago I went to My Community Dental in Marquette. I saw a male dentist who was really nice but went in for an emergency appointment, sat ALL day and he didn't do anything saying he didn't have time which is possible and fine. He took xrays on my teeth then preceded to tell me that I can make an appointment or multiple to have ALL of my top teeth and a few bottom extracted because they are bad and if you pull back the gums they would have a black line around them and that I can get top dentures. A month ago I went to the Dentist in Gwinn at Gwinn Sawyer Dental and the really nice dentist there took her own xray not even on my whole mouth and told me the one tooth needs to be pulled but not all of them need to be. I don't know if he was in a rush and mistaken, or if this was because with medicaid you get money for every tooth extracted but please be careful.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at my community dental center that I switched to a different dentist immediately. I do not recommend this place at all, they will destroy your teeth rather than fix them. I had perfect teeth till I went to them. And it makes me sick.

Fantastic experience: As someone that has a fear of the dentist after the pain of the 70s, I'm so happy to have had a wonderful experience at MCDC. Dr. Marchant and Amy were compassionate and attentive making me feel totally comfortable. They supported me through the whole (painless!) process and I can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: After struggling to find a dentist for my daughter, I got a call back from my community and they were able to get her an appointment in a week! Not only did they get her in fast, they were able to squeeze her in and get the work done she needed the same day!!( and a referral for issues with previous work) so thankful for my community! Friendly staff, and very clean also☺️

Positive experience: Went in for an emergency appointment as my teeth were hurting to the point of losing sleep. Within 2 hours they removed the teeth and sent me on my way. Hurt a bit and was uncomfortable after they took them out, but that’s to be expected. I didn’t get any painkillers for the healing pain though which I thought was odd, but acetaminophen is working currently so it’s all good

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at MCDCis outstanding. Each person is kind, considerate and caring. They do a wonderful job of communicating with patients. I have been going to MCDC for several years and feel fortunate to have such skilled and compassionate people addressing all of my dental needs. They’re simply the best!

Fantastic experience: The office is very clean and staff was great. Dr. Allison was so nice and thorough and the motto there is to not over treat, which is fantastic. I made the right decision to leave my previous cookie cutter dental office to become a patient here. Hardly any wait time and loved there is a dentist there every day. My other office , if lucky, will have a dentist. I scheduled a cleaning and dental check at my previous dentist. I arrived and they didn't have a dentist and no clue when they would. They didn't call to tell me that! I would think they should have let me know before I came in so I could make the decision to come or not. Hands down...I am over the moon with Community Dental. I loved the fact that after my treatment, I was not pulled into an office to discuss costs. It was upfront and honest.

Fantastic experience: My Community Dental was fabulous! They contacted us to move up our appointment when a sooner appointment became available. They were so kind, compassionate, understanding, and worked hard to put us at ease. I can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Visited MCDC with broken 2nd molar and extreme pain. MCDC was the only place in town that would see me on an emergency basis! The intake process was easy and efficient, and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The staff quickly took X-rays and dentist determined the tooth could not be saved and would need to be extracted. For such a difficult extraction, the dentist did an outstanding job. I would recommend MCDC to my friends and will return in the future.

Negative experience: This is like the 5th time i have gone here. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But man Dr Alison. I just cant not stand her. She is always so incredibly rude. She has probably the worst bedside manner. I feel so bad for these assistants that have to work with her because she is so incredibly rude to them. If you plan on working in a profession that deals with people you need to have some kinda of people skill & she does NOT. I could go on about how awful she is. But i will leave it at that but I will share my last experience. I just went into get a tooth pulled & i wasn’t even numbed yet. & she started yanking on my tooth. & so i raised my hand for them to stop. I took a deep breath & she went again & yanked again & it hurt so bad so i put my hand up & she just kept going until it was out. I get that it was her job to pull my tooth out but holy wah that was painful!!! & i have had a tooth pulled before. That was a breeze this was not. I would also like to add… that every time i have called ive been sent to voicemail & then have never gotten a return phone call. Ive had to call & say that i have called & then they finally call me back.

Negative experience: I went In today for a few teeth needed fixing. Dr Allison was very cold and very blunt with wanting to rip all my teeth out instead of even trying to see what could be salvaged. I was crying and she could have cared less. Medicaid isn’t much but some of us can’t afford anything else. Extracting teeth is all that was her answer. I will happily get a second opinion. She wasn’t friendly or empathetic or helpful. DONT GO HERE. it’s a big payout and easy to extract any tooth with a problem.

Negative experience: Stay clear of this business ,and if I could give them a negative star(s) this would be appropriate. I am a disabled veteran and because I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan,and that there is not a veterans administration dental clinic in my area within 100 miles from where I live,the veterans administration approved my dental work to be done with an outside dental clinic. The VA contracted with "My Community dental clinic out of Marquette,Mi.,to do the dental work that I needed. This dental work was scheduled to be done by appointment once per month,and the shoddy care that I had received took close to a years worth of appointments and still was far from being completed. My last appointment was on February 28,2023 in which the dentist at this clinic was supposed to install four crowns on my lower front teeth. This dentist proceeded to grind down my front teeth below the gum line to install these 4 crowns ( I actually had good teeth which did not require them to be ground down as far as this dentist had done). Once these 4 crowns were installed,it was not even 5 hours later that the first crown fell out, within days later, all 4 crowns that this dentist installed, all fell out, leaving me in extreme pain because the nerves of all these teeth were left exposed. I called them immediately and told them that all the crowns had fallen out and that I was in serious pain( the teeth were ground down so far that there was nothing for the crowns to attach to). It took them 3 weeks to finally return my calls, and for this whole time I was not only without front teeth,but also in severe pain. I finally got a callback from the director of the clinic and was told that this dentist had not done very many procedures of this type before and that they were going to take care of this screw up by sending me to a specialist, because now I would have to have implants done to correct this terrible procedure. I was told by this director that he would call me back on Monday, in which the return call never happened . When I finally got hold of this director, I was told that instead that the clinic was going to just return all the money paid by the VA back to the VA, and was then told not to call them back again. Basically what they did was a dump and run,to try and just get rid of me. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare,and I had to make another trip to the VA to get another referral for a different dentist. I have also had to have other extensive dental work done on the bridge work that they did prior to this last experience, because many of the teeth they worked on had to be redone because I could not even close my teeth together to be able to just eat, and this also effected my speech. I have since also had to contact an attorney and am bringing legal action against this clinic for malpractice and deliberate indifference for the way that I have been treated. This is how this clinic treated a disabled veteran. I suggest that you stay clear of this bunch of quack's, and seek professional care from a clinic that is reputable. Please beware!!! Stay away from this place,and any other of their numerous clinics in Michigan I have now lost every tooth on the lower portion of my mouth due to the dental maintenance committed by this incompetent group of dentists, they should be barred from practicing any dental procedures.

Negative experience: The dentist did not show any emotion or sensitivity when telling me I'd be losing teeth. She didn't tell me why, didn't explain how, didn't explain the partials I'd get. She seemed dispassionate and I question if I want her working on my mouth. Waited 8 months for an appointment and might just go somewhere else that at least pretends to care.

Negative experience: I never write reviews, but my experience at My Community Dental was so terrible that I felt compelled to share my story. I went to My Community Dental for months to address a persistent toothache, and every single time Dr. Garret repeatedly told me I was fine even after taking x-rays. It got so bad that I decided to get a second opinion from another dental office. This other dentist immediately identified the issue and fixed it. Do not waste your time here.

Fantastic experience: I am eternally grateful to have stumbled upon MCDC of Marquette. My son has been in agonizing pain with a dental infection following a filling done at his pediatric dentist. With that dentist refusing to see him for an emergency visit, I made the desperate call to MCDC. They were so compassionate over the phone and told me to make the 65 mile drive to be seen that day. Once there, the standby wait was a little over an hour. The dental hygienist/assistant Bre was so gentle and patient with my son as he was in obvious discomfort. She took the time to really learn our history, show us the X-rays, talk to us about treatment options, and go over (in a kid friendly way) what to expect. She was diligent and thorough in her observations, demonstrating wonderful knowledge of dentistry that helped clear up a lot of my concerns. Both her and Dr. Marchant treated my son with so much patience, care, and understanding. Ultimately, my son was too nervous for the extraction and they shifted gears without hesitation. Recommending going under general anesthesia, the biggest obstacle was that they were booking out 7 months away. The OR coordinator Kara called me the next day and immediately I knew we were in the right hands. She went above and beyond with so much compassion to find him a place on their schedule much sooner due to his pain and infection. I am forever grateful to her and MCDC. I first met Dr. Allison Ladd in the OR with my son going under general anesthesia. She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and went to great lengths to respect our wishes as parents. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else working on my son!

Negative experience: This dentist office is awful and deceptive. I called this week and informed the front desk that I had a loose filling I wanted to get fixed and I wasn't able to get in with my normal dentist because I travel full time. They told me I could come at 8am the following day and they would absolutely get me in on an urgent basis. I drove 1.5 hours one way to get to this office (after taking off work for the day) and when I got there they did an exam and x rays and told me my filling was loose (which I already knew) but that they wouldn't fix it because they "just diagnose problems but don't fix them". There was another lady who came right after me with an urgent concern and I saw her walk out of the office 5 minutes after me so they obviously took her money and didn't help her either. To top it off, Dr. Allison was very rude and inconsiderate of my concerns. She just dug at my tooth, probably making the situation worse, and then scoffed at me and told me I would just have to try to get it fixed somewhere else as they are booked up through next summer. They should have been forthcoming and told me honestly that they don't do urgent work rather than lying and saying they did thereby wasting my time and money. At a minimum they need to be more clear in what they would "try to fit in" since their front desk staff straight up told me getting my filling replacement would be something they could fix that day. As I said, their practices seem incredibly deceptive and just meant to make an extra buck while not actually helping anyone in any way. If you have an urgent or emergency dental need don't waste your time or money on this dentist. I wish I would have seen all the other reviews about emergency care being so poorly handled but hope I can save someone else the trouble now. Wish I could leave 0 stars but that is not an option. Updating my review to add that they replied with a generic comment about customer satisfaction. I tried calling the office twice yestereday to talk to a manager and they couldn't bother to pick up the phone either time. Finally, my tooth is definitely doing worse the day after being to this dentist since she dug at it so much before saying she wouldn't help me.

Positive experience: After my experience to find out that my top parcels fall out and she told me that i had to use glue to hold them in! I don't want to glue them in, they should fit! The dentist in Spalding ground them too much and had to use glue to hold them in for 5 years and i don't want to use glue to hold them in!!

Negative experience: I am incredibly disappointed in our recent experience here. Before this last visit, it was going to be a GLOWING 5 star review. This review is a reflection of dentist Alison Ladd. The way she spoke to my wife about the condition of her teeth was completely uncalled for. First off, it doesn’t matter the condition of a patients teeth, they should all be treated with kindness and respect. My wife already has deal with bad experiences in the past, and it took a lot for her to feel comfortable coming to the dentist. This dentist told my 30 year old wife that her teeth (which are not causing any issues) have cavities “in between every tooth, and we don’t want to treat them”. Her ONLY treatment recommendation was to rip out all of her teeth and get dentures. Her teeth which are currently not causing any issues - she was there for a cleaning. There are other steps before ripping them all out, such as medicated toothpaste which only the hygienist told her about. Even if such extreme measures were her only option, there is a way to deliver that information, and this impatient manner was not it. I’d also like to note that this entire conversation was had without ever facing my wife or looking her in the eye. If her behavior wasn’t rude and unprofessional enough before, that was the icing on the cake. She also tried to bully my wife into IMMEDIATELY scheduling the extraction of all of her teeth, within that same appointment. My visibly shaken wife had to ask for time to think about it. Dentists like this are the main reason most people don’t seek dental care when they need it, and then their problems only get worse. That’s what happened to my wife, and it’s happening again. Her previous dentist here - I did not catch his name - was very kind, and spoke to her with a helpful and courteous tone. Not the short ill tempered tone she received today, from a dentist who clearly thinks herself above caring for patients in desperate need. This was the worst dental bedside manner either of us have ever witnessed, which was confusing for a place that was so kind before. I am INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED and honestly debating whether or not to return. If we do, it will only be if we can guarantee to not have that dentist again. Otherwise we will go elsewhere. (Which means more time between dentists, more time our teeth are left untreated, but that’s a better alternative to dealing with someone like that who sees you as nothing but a problem). It’s incredibly upsetting, because the rest of the staff here is amazing and kind, and we’ve loved all our other experiences. Update: It’s been a month, and my wife was able to see another dentist. He’s created a plan of care and thinks he can save all of her teeth, with only three possible extractions. He didn’t even SUGGEST a full extraction or any other plan of care. If Alison Ladd doesn’t actually want to treat patients, or have any sort of care for who she is dealing with beyond numbers and money, she should’ve picked a different profession. She gives the dental profession a bad name, and creates experiences where people will be afraid to seek care in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was a little apprehensive about coming in on an emergency basis and having to be seen on a first fome first, serve basis. I had a 2 hour drive and was in a lot of pain which progressively got a little worse and i didnt have anybody who could drive me The front desk receptionist was very kind and checked on me a couple of times while I waited. Dr Garrett and his staff We're very kind and compassionate which goes a long way especially when you're not feeling good. Thank you Cory

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for My Community Dental Centers. They have taken such remarkable care of my son, when multiple other dentists turned us away. I am so glad I found them. 3 large dental procedures, and they made him so comfortable at every one. They were very helpful with explaining the process and scheduling follow ups as well. I cannot rate this dental center highly enough!

Fantastic experience: All of my kids had their teeth cleaned by Kayla and Melissa. It was quick and easy. They were kind, gentle, and very professional. The whole staff was great from beginning to end! Dr Marchant explained everything in a professional, respectful manor. I would recommend this place to everyone for your dental needs!

Positive experience: I went here solely because it was the only office we could find that accepted Medicare n plus Blue dental insurance. Basic dentistry only. Dental cleanings scheduling wait is out to a year. The care is competent and efficient. I am a bit surprised how co-pays, etc are mentioned quite frequently referred to. When I asked about availability of nitrous oxide, I was informed that there would be a copayment of $23 at the time of service and it needed to be scheduled ahead of time. Not sure I care for the importance given to fees, suppose it is practical rom their point of view.

Fantastic experience: great. ive got a couple things to get done that im worried about, but its my own negligent fault. the doctors and receptionists were great, my hygienist (Kayla i think) answered all my questions and the doc was nice. appreciate the acceptance of lgbtq.

Fantastic experience: Melissa was our dental hygienist today and she was absolutely fantastic! My son is on the spectrum and this was his first dentist appointment ever. I was so nervous for this day because I had no clue how he would react to the dentist, but because she was so understanding and compassionate towards him, he did amazing! She definitely needs some extra recognition! Thank you, Melissa!

Negative experience: I saw the lady there. She is absolutely the worst. She came in very combative and rude, telling me about how stupid I am as she was walking in the door. Finally, I said “I’ve made a mistake, I am going to go to a real dentist, no offense.” And for the first time with a tone that was not rude and bitter, she said with resignation in her voice: “that’s okay, I’m NOT a real dentist.” If you need a butcher to rip your teeth out they will do it on Medicaid. For literally anything else, a squirrel in a barn would be better than the lady here.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very polite and helpful. I had a broken tooth, and was given a choice of a couple different options. It was nice to feel like my care path, wants and needs were of value.

Fantastic experience: Great business. Thank you so much for allowing emergency appointments. Yes-you have to show up first thing in the morning. Yes-you may have to line up at the door. Yes- you may have to call before to ensure the dentist is in BUT this is such a great practice for those of us who can’t afford to wait 8 months for a first visit. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and nice to my 6year old son and 12 year old were very Comfortable and the dentist was awesome. I forgot his name, but he made it an experience that my kids would never forget in a good way. We will be going back. They actually have a couple appointments coming up. I've heard mixed reviews from people that I know. And I don't listen to Everything that I hear. I experience it for myself and the experience with. This dentist office was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and service, clean and comfortable office! Dr. Allison is gentle, calm and very cautious of pain and will make sure you don't have any , her assistant MJ is amazing take time to listen to my concerns and care about what I have to say. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Well considering teeth problems are my biggest nightmare I was not excited to go to my appointment. It was my first time to the location. I arrived on time and way nervous. Dr. Garret Marchant -Seriously was so incredible. Me being a dentist nightmare of a patient - he made it a lot better! It didn’t make me any less petrified being I hate mouth work. But he was fast explained everything and even made me laugh while I was actually crying getting a filling. can’t thank him enough and apologize for being such a handful of a patient. Second time coming up here.. again Dr Garret is an angel. Heaven sent for people that are stuck using state insurance. Used to go to the power’s clinic. They closed. Thank god! They never told me about a problem starting. Well now it’s been far too long and the problem is actually a big problem! I went to the Marquette office today and they are so great up there. The desk people are awesome! The hygienist ladies are awesome. And the dentist Garret is the best! Literally the best.

Negative experience: Receptionist and dental assistant were great!! Went in for an emergency visit and the dentist confirmed my pain, lied about an infection and sent me on my way without doing anything. Awful experience after driving a few hours.

Negative experience: The hygienist was kind and thorough. The dentist lied to me and told me it was a law in Michigan that you had to have dental X-rays. While it is standard of care if I understand the risks of not getting X-rays it should be my decision to have them or not. I should not be denied care if I understand the risks of not getting X-rays of all my teeth. My brother had thyroid cancer and I have good dental hygiene and have not ever had anything show up on X rays. I also personally have had cancer.

Fantastic experience: I always have good experiences here. The dental assistant Amy (I think that’s her job title) is probably my favorite person to have working on my teeth. Everyone there is great, but Amy knows what’s up, and always makes sure I’m comfortable and pain-free. I’m at a point where I requested having her whenever possible because I trust her with my dental health. Today, I went in for an early appointment during a snowstorm in sweats, intending to rest a bit while having a crown installed, and she even let me wear the X-ray blanket as if it was a weighted blanket for some extra comfort and warmth. She also let me choose my flavor of topical anesthetic, which I found pretty fun. Also, the mango flavor of the topical tastes and smells like mango for the first five seconds before you start tasting the actual meds… at which point, all I can describe it as is ️ spicy ️…. But tropical spicy? Kinda like Tajin seasoning.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgable, friendly, and informative staff! I usually hate the dentist but they were very gentle and made my experience very calm and enjoyable. Would highly recommend for any dental work needed!

Fantastic experience: It’s an hour+ drive and very well worth it. The staff is so nice and respectful In the sense they listen, the care, make you feel very comfortable, very detailed in what they are doing, the Dr is comical. You just feel like been going there for years.

Fantastic experience: These professionals, from the reception through the completion of the visit bent over backwards to get me in. I had moved from out of state, no dentist, and had “popped a crown”. I had called the number to apply as a new patient which was quick and easy. Unfortunately they said it would be 24 to 48 hours before they would get back with me for the paperwork to complete. I mentioned this to the lady at the reception (unfortunately I did not get her name, but she made everything happen) she handed me a clipboard and form and said someone would be with me in a little bit. Didn’t wait long till Kayla (a great conversationalist) escorted me to the chair and started the process immediately. Dr. Marchant was quick, efficient and very professional. A slight lingering pain I had before the tooth popped disappeared. He then explained why the tooth popped and offered suggestions. Very professional and comfortable place.

Fantastic experience: I was seen emergently for a broken molar… I was in pain and anxious. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated with kindness and compassion, which meant the world to me. Everyone was professional & knowledgeable explaining each step along the way. Dr. Allison Ladd was AMAZING! The extraction was difficult and she handled it calmly, professionally explaining what was happening, stopping to give more anesthetic as needed. It’s obvious to me as a health care professional myself, that this office & staff are dedicated professionals. I will definitely be continuing my dental health journey here!
