Negative experience: I received a text to confirm my child’s appointment 7 DAYS prior to their appointment. I was in the hospital with a medical emergency so I did not respond. They called ONE TIME the same day as the text message and I was not able to answer due my medical issues. Since this appointment was 7 days away, it was not an emergency to respond right away. They then sent me a text the following morning stating that “after multiple attempts to confirm my appointment they were cancelling it” I had made this appointment months ago. They contacted me two times total so I wouldn’t consider that “multiple.” I find this absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. I can understand if the appointment was within 48 hours or so but 7 DAYS - Come the heck on…….. They need to do better and actually give people a chance to respond before sending such a ridiculous text. An interesting thing is they have sent me more text messages to leave a review about my recent experience than they did about confirming. The below is the text I received which again came after 1 phone call and 1 text while I was in the hospital. Hi- it's Mainstreet Dental. We regret to inform you after multiple attempts to confirm your upcoming appointment with no response, we will need to cancel your appointment and reschedule for a future date. Please give us a call to reschedule.

Negative experience: Today was not a good look! Money is scarce out here and they decided to fix my 5 yr olds teeth while he is awake “attempt” let’s be real common sense this will not work! So I had to pay $20 for a mask that I will never ever use again and it didn’t get used today because obviously they could not fix his teeth because he’s a five-year-old and he’s not gonna let you gag him with a tongue flap and stick a drill in his mouth! I missed work! I’m a single mom. I had to miss an entire day of work and my son missed an entire day of school because of this. I waited months to get this appointment since August and it is October and now I have to wait several more months to get him into another appointment for sedation When we could’ve just went that route off the bat, but they never even gave me the option!!! with my daughter, they knew better because it’s common sense for a small child that they are not gonna be able to sit through dental work while they are awake. I am so mad with this place and usually I love it but I am FURIOUS!!! Seriously considering going to a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly, personable and efficient, in a surprisingly calm environment. The hygienist was great! She talked with my daughter and gave her compliments throughout the cleaning process.

Positive experience: The Dentist was great very knowledgeable they took us right away , I do think the place is a bit dirty looks old and clutter not much room for patiences they are all staked together and does need a interior updates

Fantastic experience: The waiting area is comfortable and welcoming as are the receptionists. My appointment began on the dot and staff was very respectful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a dental practice that combines great care, a comfortable environment, and a trustworthy team, I highly recommend Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Clermont.

Negative experience: Love the doctor and the dental assistants in this office, they are very sweet. The front desk employees definitely need to have better customer service. We arrived at 3pm (at our scheduled appointment time) and did not finish until 4:30. When my children were done with their cleaning they kindly went up to the front desk and ask who appeared to be the manager if they can have a little toy that they usually give at the end of the visit. She sternly told them that they had to wait for that. She was not helping another patient at the time and just left my kids standing there waiting. I then asked my children to come stand and wait because I was waiting for the dental assistant to bring the printed school notes I needed. I clearly saw when the dental assistant brought the school notes over and instead of just simply handing them to me she continued to ignore us and have us stand in the middle of the waiting room. At that point I was so annoyed about the whole waiting since I arrived and the rude behavior of the front desk I left without the school notes and without scheduling the next appointment. Please hire employees that at least can fake that they are happy to be there and have customer service experience to treat the patients with respect.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience very child friendly! My daughter was a little bit scared to sit down in the big chair and the tech was so patient with her; offering multiple things to make her comfortable and the Dr. was very nice talking to my daughter and engaging with her, the Dr. Also make a unicorn balloon for her.

Negative experience: Terrible !! We had an appointment I started at 11:30 didn’t get seen until 12:30. I wouldn’t be mad, but this is not the first time that I went there and had a wait over an hour after I already had a scheduled time to be there. The dentist literally wants to make every single tooth to be filled a different day. So I’m constantly making different appointments when It all could’ve been done in the one appointment. The nurse I had was very, very sweet. I did not get her name, but the dentist that was there today was very rough with my daughter. I will be looking for a new place of business.

Fantastic experience: Joshua Suarez and Liannys mom! My child always has some type of emotions while getting his regular cleaning, i appreciate the staff and the patience of everyone making my child feel better while we get his cleaning along with any dental work. The doctor is always caring for them along with the staff Thank you everyone we been coming here for years and never had an issiue.

Negative experience: Great dentist but front desk is rude and unprofessional. They upcharge you and make it seem like it's mandatory when it's not. The mulatto Hispanic lady at the front desk is very nasty,very impatient with miserable looking face. They wouldn't provide me with her name to file a complaint. The heavy set hispanic lady told me she was their manager and that she was nice. She saw i was being treated. They don't even acknowledge when they're wrong. It's unfortunate because the dentist at this office is very nice, professional and courteous. Front desk staff who has no medical degree who works for hourly wage is costing this facilty customers and bad reviews. What a shame. This facility has changed for worse. Not coming back here again.

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews but I today I had a great experience. I took my kids today for the first time, one of them was really scare and crying, but every one and the dentist was so patience and professional that my son had a great experience, after going to many other dentist during 11 yrs, my kids found a place they will love to go back. Negative experience: I took my daughter here for an extraction & space maintainer. The doctor is wonderful he does great work, front desk needs a little more organization as I called to have another preD submitted due to my daughters space maintainer falling out, per her insurance it’s completely up to them if they choose to cover it again as I called myself. Front desk decided themselves it’s only covered once so they didn’t submit another PreD as requested by her insurance & the receptionist i recently spoke to said the last person I spoke to didn’t note anything about needing to submit another preD. So if my daughters tooth shifted what’s to be done then due to the front desks negligence, she has now been about 2months without her space maintainer….

Fantastic experience: This is a review specifically for INDIRA. She was so incredible with my daughter Ariella. She was so loving and comforting. She kept holding my daughter‘s hand, rubbing her head, and hugging her. She kept loving on her during the procedure and speaking words of encouragement because where my 6 year old daughter was getting very anxious and crying. This woman made my daughter, feel so special, heard, and loved. I am so grateful that I had INDIRA that day. Thank you for all that you do! Your kindness and your love for children are genuine. You truly are beautiful inside and out.

Fantastic experience: Brought both my kids for a ortho consult. The staff was nice , professional. The orthodontist was very nice and knowledgeable and reasonable and explained everything. She told me what to expect how long to expect and why etc. I can’t wait to start tx.

Negative experience: We had a bad experience here unfortunately. The staff was somewhat rude and impatient with our kids. Our daughter's teeth were hurting so we called to schedule an emergency appointment to get her help. When our appointment came up they took x-rays of select teeth rather than doing a full exam and then told us they couldn't even help us and we had to take her to a dentist capable of using laughing gas or other sedation. So they wasted a week of our time waiting for the appointment, then charged us for a few x-rays and a cleaning, then referred us out to other dentists for the procedure she actually needs. How helpful. Then at the other dentist we had to do all the x-rays over anyways, so it was a pointless visit with Mainstreet.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time taking my one-year-old to the dentist, and my daughter and I both had an amazing experience! I was a little nervous about how they would handle her since she can be a bit impatient (as most toddlers are), but the staff was incredible — they truly know what they’re doing and go above and beyond. Parents, you will love this place! We had such a positive experience with the assistants, the receptionist, and especially Dr. Ortiz!

Negative experience: Over an hour on hold in total for 4 calls today then they have an attitude and offer no help. Still holding right now so she can check someone out. Who knew that took so long.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant that we had was very kind and careful with Gavin. He has a very sensitive gag reflex and she was very professional in making sure that he was comfortable while she did her work.

Positive experience: Dr T gets 10 start, certain receptionist 0. They canceled my kids (2) appts I received notification on the you get child and they keep contacting the 15 yo to manage her appointments. Then when I went to see if other location had something sooner and end of August the receptionist there asked “office mgr” if we could be seen and they advised me NO because my home base is clermont, and their contracts are different and I would have to pay more, but they can get kids in there for fillings or dental work . I was going to take this up with Dr T him self but my husband ended up taking them and not relaying info.

Fantastic experience: 3 year olds first visit to the Dentist was absolutely great!!!!! Nurse Aline and Dr. Ortiz took excellent care with my P-nut and she wasn't scared at all. Would absolutely recommend to any young Mommas who need a Great Dentist for their little ones. I'd give more than 5 stars if possible.

Fantastic experience: My 7 yr old daughters have been going here for almost 4 yrs now and when I tell you they are amazing…they are top notch! Just recently, one of my daughters chipped her front tooth. I called after hours and left a message and to my surprise I received a call back within 10 mins! Dr Ortiz, was very prompt in answering any questions/concerns my husband and I had. She was also able to fit us in first thing the next morning even though they were swamped! She fixed her up so beautifully! Our daughter has her pretty smile back! Thank you Dr Ortiz and staff! You guys are truly a blessing!

Fantastic experience: I took my son to his very first dentist appointment today(just a cleaning), and the staff was amazing. Very friendly & kind. They did a wonderful job in keeping my son calm & happy. I love that they let one parent come back with the children. It really helps with the fear. I loved how Alina took time to show my son how each tool worked. His favorite part was taking the pictures (X-rays) of his teeth. ❤️ Dr. Ortiz was also very kind & informative. I highly recommend this establishment.

Negative experience: Poor service, they penalize you if you get there 5 minutes late, but they make you wait between 40 minutes to an hour later. No customer service oriented. If you try to contact the main office you will never receive a response.

Fantastic experience: It was my kids first time here yesterday and it was such a pleasant experience from the front office to the back. We had the pleasure of having Jesyca clean their teeth. She was so kind, gentle and thorough. They were then seen by Dr. Tejada and he was also kind, very informative and funny, making my nervous daughter laugh & feel much more relaxed. This is the best dentist office I have ever taken my kids to. Well worth the nearly hour drive for us! **Also the fact that it actually looks like a children’s dentist office made a huge impression! I love that it is painted in bright colors and they had lower child eye level TV’s in the lobby.

Fantastic experience: It was a bit confusing at the beginning with the address, is not the same that gps shows, another negative thing was receiving many phone calls before the appointment asking for fill up some papers in a very short period of time or “your appointment will be cancelled “, that was kinda annoying to me, I am a night shift nurse, trying to catch up with all my things. It was testing me, going that day to see if was worth it all my previous stress…. But I have to accept that Doctor Tejada is so amazing, very kind and professional. Zaza, his assistant is another beautiful and pleasant plus. She was extremely nice and helpful. My daughters loved her. ♥️ Finally, applause for the whole team because of the kindness

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Main Street Dental today with my toddler! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient. The dental assistant took the time to explain everything in a kid-friendly way, which really helped put my little one at ease. The dentist was equally fantastic—gentle, thorough, and very informative. They answered all of my questions and gave helpful guidance for keeping my toddler’s teeth healthy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable pediatric-friendly office!

Fantastic experience: Ilene and the other hygienist( didn’t catch her name) were very nice and made the cleaning process of both of my children more tolerable and even fun. My 4 year old daughter was actually excited to take her first X-ray because of them.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office due out normal one not able to get her in and I was so pleasantly surprised by the staff! From the front person to the hygienist, to the dentist herself! They were compassionate to our situation, got us right in, and still took the time to talk to me as a parent! We will be switching from our old office to this one!!

Fantastic experience: Mainstreet Orthodontist is amazing. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs them. They have always made us feel like family and the staff are second to none. My youngest son will be getting his braces there as soon as we’re able to get them. He’s very excited which is weird but that’s how awesome they are. Excellent people!!!!!

Negative experience: Poor communication. The never booked my daughter so she endured abscess for weeks that was preventable. Please watch your billing and claims closely. They will charge for procedures in future and then add more"care plans"including care already rendered. If you are needing an urgent appt, the opening are first come first serve based on automated machines versus common sense practice where children with urgent matters come first. Not whoever's had the millisecond to capture a opening from a cancellation based off a machine. They would not provide me corporate number c I would love to speak to this chief medical director on person. If you are looking for individuals who really care, this ain't it. Now everyone we call they are snarky and the office manager has no respect or medical background it seems. I would imagine a dentist office manager has some basic medical knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Our first experience at Main Street Dentistry was great. They were prompt, thorough and very friendly. I’ve had a hard time finding a dentist who takes my son’s insurance and I finally found this place. I’m glad I did. They also gave him a little treat, including a new tooth brush, toothpaste and flossers. My other kids dentist gives them a sticker (but only if they ask)

They have always made me feel welcomed, office always smells great (not like a scary dental office) and mainly my 3 children ranging from 3-8 years old are NEVER scared to get dental work! They are patient, have reasonable appointment dates and mainly take the time to explain and educate me on the treatment my children need.
