Although, they were unable to help me with the bridge issue, the dentist was awesome. He got me some medicine to tie me over and referred me to a specialist. I'm forever grateful . Negative experience: I have been given the runaround about get my services completed. Now refund! Case and funds were transferred from Raleigh and I saw Dr Lee last year to complete services that were paid for and he told me I needed to see another dentist for a filling before receiving the permanent completion. I was told it wouldn’t be costly only to arrive and pay almost $150 for xrays and consultation. Told it would be another $500 to get what I went for. I left. I have now requested refund for balance on my account because i no longer want to move forward with service it has been long and stressful. I get a call saying Dr Lee said I cant have MY money refunded! This place in Colfax is the worst. They are basically trying to steal my money. What Dr thinks he has the right to deny my money back!Very unprofessional. I am currently seeking legal action

Fantastic experience: Very honest and hard working staff. They let you know the differences in all of your choices. This is why I continue to come back to them instead of going somewhere else. They do not try to oversell you in something that you don't need. Like I said, very honest.

Negative experience: From the lobby to dental stations nothing has been updated in this facility in 30 years, The dental chairs are terrible and worn all the way out the spit bowl was deplorable like it came from a 1960's institution..not to mention the dentists that tried to scam me from getting a partial made to removing extra teeth just so they could charge more money for a full denture.. little did they know that I had already been told by another reputable Dr that the teeth were fine! .. I left and went another facility A1 Dental the difference was like night and day !! Needless to say .I will never be back!!

Fantastic experience: I love Affordable Dentures! My appointment was at 9. I was sitting in the dentist's chair by 9:10. I needed to have a repair made. I left and returned at 12:30. It was completed by 12:30. Delivered by a lovely technician that had to make adjustments to my lower partial. She successfully made the adjustments and the teeth look beautiful. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend Affordable Dentures to everyone that needs implants, partials or Dentures.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! 1000% NO CARE OR CONCERN!!!1st appt, called back 30 min after appt time. Then when dr jeff (lowercase on purpose) finally comes over after 15 min tells me "We can't help you, go find a general dentist". WTH?!? This office website states extractions & partials. I replied I came here because I needed help! I left crying and cried all the way home! No one tried to stop me and discuss and no one has called or emailed. 1000% NO CARE OR CONCERN!!!

Negative experience: Went into the office yesterday for a consultation and x-rays to try and get a tooth pulled. For starters, it was VERY difficult as a native English speaker to understand any of the hygienists; they all speak with a thicker Spanish accent. After getting the x-rays done (2D), Dr Lee said that he thought it might be a complex extraction, but that he wasn’t sure (complex extractions cost more). Even without him being sure, he still wanted to charge for the complex extraction which was almost double the amount of a regular extraction. He stated that if it ended up not being a complex extraction that he would simply refund the difference. That would be fantastic if I didn’t have to plan out financing before having the procedure done! Long story short, I went to my regular dentist, who has more updated equipment, and was able to have a regular extraction done with no problem. Best advice would be to stay as far away from this place as possible.

Fantastic experience: I called Affordable Dentures in a panic because on a Sunday afternoon, while I was at lunch, I bit down on something & my entire bottom denture cracked completely in half, in 2 pieces! So I called them the next morning to ask about getting me in as soon as possible. The lady on the other end of the phone was extremely nice, compassionate & caring & scheduled my appointment immediately. They created a brand new set of dentures for me & I have never been happier. I had my old set for about 16 years & I never liked them! The upper teeth were way too short & my smile did not look natural. Within 2 days I had my smile back & my confidence back! Dr. McFayden is absolutely amazing! I would recommend them to anyone! The price was very affordable and the whole procedure only took 2 days!

Negative experience: Poorly very poorly. No help when help is needed no insurance they know that and told me the X-ray and consultation would be free. Upon arrival I was told that it's 50% chance that they can't do anything,but scared me and told me the infection was spreading. All they care about is money and I could pay on a payment plan but they wanted 300$ upfront before doing anything. So now I'm at the hospital with an infection tooth trying my best to get help. This place sucks unless you have insurance. And 300$ upfront. Would not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!

X-rays and exam were completed in a very timely manner. My options for my dental care were explained and a treatment plan was established in the most economical way for my needs. Negative experience: I came in needing my wisdom tooth removed and left in more pain than when I went in. I wasn't able to have my tooth removed but even with the numbing medicine my mouth is in worse pain than before. The dentist who was over my procedure was nonchalant and showed no concern now I'm currently crying my eyes out and still in need of my tooth being removed.

Fantastic experience: Got a set of dentures here last year and the team was great and had me fixed up in no time.Came back today a little over a year to see if they could improve the fit by a re-align since they had gotten a little problematic and he said "I think I can help you and he mad a quick mold and took my dentures and told me to come back in about an hour and 1/2 and he didn't even charge me for this.They fit better and feel better.I said this in my last review and I'll say it again.These guys are professionals and know what they are doing and they don't waste time they are very efficient and do a great job at an affordable price.Thanks guys! Positive experience: Very friendly and efficient. I didn't have my dental insurance card but she found it online to file for me. I did still have questions when I left, but that's my own fault. I didn't ask enough questions. I will be going back.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this location and quite frankly very traumatic. I went in on June 28, 2024 for 2 extractions. The dentist, Lee ( I think), didn’t numb me completely. I felt everything. I told him I could feel it, he supposedly added more numbing however again I could feel it again. I cried out trying to tell him again and he said “it’s because you have an infection so it’s going to hurt”, If that’s the case why didn’t he explain that information and just give me something for the infection and have me return for the extractions? However I am giving a one star only because everyone else was super kind. Unfortunately I will never return to this location again. It sucks because my mother had went here before and had an amazing experience. I guess I was just very unlucky.

Fantastic experience: After some extractions I had done here, there was a broken tooth cutting up my cheek. I complained, and Dr Lee responded promptly to address the issue, and had me back in 2 days later to fix it. Good job, thank you for fixing my mouth!

Positive experience: There is a level of difficulty in commutation when getting in touch with this location in colfax, nc where I had went for services. Example: I would always have to leave a message for a return call to schedule an appointment and when I would call back no one would answer (a lot of phone tag). Also, the time of operation is incorrect. It says open until 4pm in the evenings; no, they close at 3pm and closed all day on Fridays. I was only informed of this on my last appointment day there. My only recommendation would be for emergency extractions if needed at this location. Photo attached is when I attempted to go in person to schedule my follow up because communication by phone seemed virtually impossible. I arrived at 3:51pm to find they were closed.

Negative experience: They did pull six teeth and I got dentures,very rough with the extraction process and I bought the premium dentures and gotta say I would hate to see the quality of the two lower tier dentures I can only imagine that the bottom tier(basic) would be like having some whittled from wood,as soon as my mouth heals I'm going elsewhere and hopefully getting a better set, would not recommend this place

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here at Affordable Dentures I. Colfax, NC. I arrived early and filled out my paperwork and was seen by the nurse about 15 minutes early and they did the xray. Fifteen minutes later I was consulting with the doctor and a plan of action was put in place to correct my dental problems. Highly recommend this business.

Fantastic experience: Affordable Dentures in Colfax, NC is the location to go to! Several members of my family and I have always received the BEST service there. Always treated with respect, not a number or dollar. They help you decide what is best for you, your teeth and you pocketbook. I made the mistake of going to the Winston-Salem location once since it's closer but they are NOT like Colfax at all. I'm so glad I returned to the Colfax location. Don't make the same mistake I did, go to Colfax if you want things done right the first time - Colfax is BEST!
