Positive experience: Oral Evaluation by dentist was extremely rushed, three minutes max. Did not measure gum pockets. Hygienist did a great job.

Fantastic experience: I was very happy they could get me in so fast for a broken tooth. Dr. Brettigan puts you at ease and I have a lot of confidence in him. He has a good sense of humor which made the procedure easier. His dental assistant Margo was very friendly and helpful in explaining things. They make a great team. Margo was the first to notice the color on the crown was a little off so they could change it. I came to them from a different dentist who was pushing extra services and am very very happy I made the switch.

Positive experience: The hygienic check up was perfect, very efficient and listened to my concerns. When the Dr. came in she told him of my concerns. He was very nice, did a quick check, missing my upper left side and never addressed my concerns. I left feeling like I hadn't even seen him. I have felt in the past I got excellent care but the last 2 times have left me feeling I didn't get a good check after my hygiene appointment and the doctor was too rushed.

All the ladies in the front office are soo welcoming and nice on phone, even more so in person. And Dr Neil Johnson is simply amazing at his craft - he explains so thoroughly, I truly feel he’s genuine in his intentions for his patients and their comfort/care. And of course he couldn’t do it without Emily and Angel - both so calming and relatable. Emma is also an excellent hygienist! This office is truly a unicorn, how they got so many wonderful ppl in one place is beside me…but I’ll take it!!

Negative experience: The staff at Centennial Lakes Dental is friendly and has given me good dental care for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, the new dental chairs at the clinic are a problem. I am still in pain after my dental appointment at Centennial Lakes Dental more than a week ago, not from the work done on my mouth, but from the dental chair I sat in. I have needed four chiropractic adjustments and my spine is still not back where it should be. I have never had a problem with the dental chairs until they purchased new chairs about a year ago. They are uncomfortable and not ergonomically designed to give proper support. I have had three dental appointments with the new chairs and have had to go to the chiropractor several times after each visit to get my neck, back, shoulders, and sacrum realigned. I kept hoping the dental clinic would correct the problem, but they haven't. Several family members also go to this clinic and have been in pain from the new chairs. I have spoken with some of the employees about this. They are aware of the situation and have indicated that other patients have complained about the chairs as well. However, since this was a huge capital investment, they will not be getting different chairs any time soon. I am sorry that I won't be able to continue my care here, but it's not worth having healthy teeth at the expense of my spine.

Very comfortable to talk with, explain topics and an overall positive experience too. Hopefully these arrangements can continue. Front Office team experiences have also been great. 12/6/24: Jade once again was excellent. Great attention to detail. Dr Shand was unexpectedly, not available. I saw Dr. Moore. It all went smoothly. 6/13/25: Once again, Jade's focus and attention to detail yet also being careful, is so excellent. Patient from her and Dr Shand is really comforting.

Positive experience: Usually everything runs smoothly but today everything seemed behind. I was kept waiting for my appt for 15 min and then waited 15 minutes for my final consultation with the dentist. But stuff happens, I know. The hygienist was apologetic and everyone was nice.

Dr Brettigen has been a fantastic dentist giving me advice and options. I had a bad biking accident about 4 years ago on a Saturday. I called into the after hours phone. Dr Brettigen called me back even though he was up north at a cabin. He referred me to an emergency dentist to help reset my tooth and helped me through the extensive aftercare that was needed. I will be a life long patient.

Fantastic experience: Most people are reluctant about going to the dentist but I love my dentist, Dr Adam Shand!! Hands down he’s the best I’ve ever seen. Fantastic experience: I had a thorough and clarifying initial exam today from Dr. Johnson and had my fears put to rest with an easy to follow plan. I need my teeth straightened and they offer a reasonable plan to get this done! I went from trepidation to happiness walking to my car! It could not have gone better. I've had my fair share of dental sensitivities and anomalies, each handled with thoughtful consideration & gentle care. The front of the house team is also exemplary; most have been there as long as I have--and before--which says a lot about the environment (Brenda, Enthira,...) They took turns holding my colicky newborn 13 years ago when I needed urgent dental work. I cannot say enough good things about this group.
