Fantastic experience: I have been taking my kids here since they were located in Sugarhouse about 20 years ago. The entire staff, front desk, hygienists and doctors are never anything but friendly, gentle, and caring for their patients and parents. The office is a very inviting and calm space. I recommend them anytime I can and will never take my kids anywhere else! Thank you for the great care all of these decades

Fantastic experience: Everything here is amazing - from the facilities to the hygienists to the dentists. Care is above and beyond and they answer every question always. Shaylee was the greatest. Sweet to my son and attentive and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: They take great care of my children’s comfort as well as educating them on proper dental hygiene and tooth care. The Dentist’s also make sure that parents are aware of how their children’s teeth are developing, which is especially important for knowing if and when braces will be necessary. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We’ve come to this dentist a few times for various check ups for my almost 3 year old. They are all very nice and my daughter has always seemed happy when she comes, during the check up, and as she leaves. They have little tokens that let the little ones get little prizes. They have fun little areas for playing while waiting. It’s all really smooth and fun to go. My daughter always says she wants to go there when we tell her it’s time for her check ups. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We were referred by our regular dentist and it has been the greatest experience! The staff is incredibly kind, they follow through and call you back when they say they will. It is incredibly clean, and everybody I have talked to has gone out of their way to make my child feel as comfortable as possible going to the dentist. I am so grateful!

The staff is kind and make the kids comfortable. The kids can lay back and watch movie which really helps distract them. My kid is going to grow up without dental anxiety because of how he was treated and I couldn't be more grateful for it.

Fantastic experience: This was the first visit for us and everyone was amazing! The receptionist were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Aste was amazing! My son is 1.5 years old and every tooth brush is a battle at home but somehow she was able to keep him calm and easily be able to do his exam. We’re so glad we were able to find a great dentist!

Fantastic experience: The staff was very patient, yet thorough, with my 4 year old. He is sensory sensitive and often has difficulty with loud noises, and unfamiliar feelings, like having his teeth scraped. But we were very satisfied with they things were handled here and he left in a great mood!

Fantastic experience: My kids often ask me when they get to go back to the dentist because they love this place so much. All the providers and hygienists we have seen at Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry have been positive, kind and so helpful. I have never felt like they’ve tried to “sell us” on procedures and products my kids don’t need (something my friends have come across at different dental practices in the area). Furthermore, when my daughter chipped her two front teeth on a Sunday evening, the on-call dentist called me back right away. She was compassionate enough to offer to go into the office that evening to fix my daughter’s teeth so my 7-year-old wouldn’t have to worry about it that night. Her teeth were back to normal (actually, even better than normal) that same evening thanks to Dr. Aste and her assistant, who were kind enough to come in when the office was normally closed. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Both my boys were having their teeth done, the office was able to make our appointments not only line up so we only came in once they were willing to work with our orthodontic appointment so we didn’t have to reschedule it. Also I was able to leave and they let me know when they were close to done.

Fantastic experience: This office is always amazing! Called with an emergency issue with my 9 years old. They got him in same day... happened to be an easy fix, the dentist just pulled out the baby tooth so the big tooth could come in straight. I can't say enough positive about this place.

What a wonderful first time experience for my Little ones! SHAYLEE you are beyond AMAZING and so sweet! Tyns loves you and couldn't stop talking about you in the car and told her dad all about her time at the fun dentist! So patient and legit meant to work with kids!!! Updat: my daughter just had an appt where she needed to be sedated and wow, everyone is so kind and experienced with small children! I had a lot of anxiety but they made me feel so comfortable handing her over. Thank you again!

Recently, my son had a dental emergency, and Dr. Rupp responded immediately to make sure he was seen as soon as possible. The team was so accommodating and sensitive to his anxiety, which made a potentially stressful situation feel calm and reassuring. They went above and beyond to make him comfortable—and he’s already talking about the next token he’ll earn at his next visit! Fantastic experience: We have always had good experiences at Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry. The entire staff is lovely, and great with children. The office is beautiful and welcoming. The wait times are minimal. They never make you feel uncomfortable or guilty. They’re polite and straightforward.

Negative experience: Took my son to get antibiotics for a tooth infection, they did a quick x-ray that didn’t even show anything. They sent us back saying that we should pickup the prescription within one hour. Following was a weekend and Monday is a holiday and they didn’t send the prescription to the pharmacy I end up taking my son to the emergency after symptoms got worse and get an antibiotic for him. They didn’t even excuse for that and they billed us for that appointment. The team in that location are rude and not friendly at all.

Fantastic experience: Salt Lake Pediatric Dental has always been absolutely amazing and I am so glad that we have come to them. We travel all the way from Northern NV to see these guys and I will never not travel to bring the kiddos to them. Amazing beside manner, very communicative and if you are having to get a procedure done where the kiddos have to get out under, they have their own team that specializes in that and communicate with you all the way through. They don’t rush you out after and answer any and all questions. THEY ARE AMAZING

Fantastic experience: My kids and I love coming to Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry. They are always so nice and accommodating when it comes to scheduling several kids. They get us in on time and take good care of there patients when they have to be in the office for longer procedures.

Positive experience: I have taken my kids here since they were tiny - and now they are teenagers! We have loved the OG doc here (Rupp and Dr. Dave). They have been the best and the reason we have stayed with them since they were in a tiny office in Sugarhouse. Lately, they have expanded and brought in new docs, and I have been much less impressed. My son had an appointment that I was unable to attend with him, and the (new) doc did not answer some really important questions we had about my son’s teeth. I would recommend sticking with the original doctors. They are top quality. Also, I noticed recently that they have remodeled their Holladay office and installed iPads for the kids to play on. So disappointed!! Kids don’t need more screen time! Finally, we are self-pay and it has gotten more and more expensive over the years. I have loved this office so much. I’m sorry to see the quality and cost decline as they expand.

Fantastic experience: We recently visited Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry - Holladay location for our son’s dental care, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Dr. Rupp and his team are truly exceptional. We came in with a confusing issue with my son’s tooth, and while it eventually led to an extraction, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, Dr. Rupp took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt confident in the next steps. The entire team was kind, patient, and so supportive, especially with my son, who felt calm and cared for throughout the whole process. The extraction itself went smoothly, and his recovery was quick and easy. We’re so thankful to have found such a skilled and compassionate dentist. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: They were able to see my 3 year old son on short notice. We called when they opened, and they were able to get him in that morning at 11. Very clean office space, and made my son feel very comfortable and at ease. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! We came to this office for a second opinion about my child’s dental treatment. My 6 year old has been terrified to go to the dentist and has lead to a mouthful of problems. The dentist/s were non judgmental and gave us several treatment plans. IV sedation is a godsend for kids with special needs and anxiety. My son’s dental procedure went great and he even said I love the dentist and getting my teeth pulled (5) . Recovery was smooth and I have a eager child ready for school. Reception staff, dental assistants, anesthesiologist, Dr Rupp and Horton are nothing short of great! I’m glad Ive found a place my child isn’t scared of anymore! THANK YOU TEAM! ❤️

Fantastic experience: My son chipped his two permanent front teeth. We are able to get an appointment quickly for the repair. Everyone in the office is so friendly and Dr Dave does a great job. They answered all my son’s questions and helped to put him at ease during the appointment. His repaired teeth look as if they’ve always been there. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s first visit and I was so nervous on how he was going to react to being at the dentist for the first time since he is autistic and has a lot of sensory issues. The staff was so accommodating and so kind and so sweet to him. He was able to get his teeth cleaned and they were able to take pictures and he was able to do everything with no problems at all. They were so gentle and sweet with him that he actually enjoyed his trip to the dentist. When we left, I asked him if he had fun and he said yes. Thank you so much for being so wonderful with my kid today!! Update: he went in for his second visit today where he had to have anesthesia get a lot of work done and I was very nervous about it. They were once again amazing and wonderful and so accommodating. He’s at home resting up right now.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience! It was my son's first dental appointment (he is 2 1/2) and it was better than I could have imagined. The dental hygienist was great at explaining everything to my son and made sure he was comfortable with all of the equipment and procedures. Dr. Dave was our dentist and my son happily laid in the dental chair and opened wide. The promise of a prize at the end of the visit may have had something to do with this excellent behavior but it worked so it was a win! We will be back and recommend taking your kiddos here also.

Fantastic experience: My daughter used to be terrified coming to the dentist. Since coming to Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry she actually looks forward to her appointments even if it’s for a filling or having a tooth pulled. Everyone is so kind and each dentist explains everything to both myself and my daughter. She’s even talked about becoming a dentist because of the great experience here!

My 7-year old experienced severe anxiety around dentist visits and the staff and doctors worked so hard to help him feel at ease. Today, he completed his exam without so much as a complaint. Fantastic experience: This is the best pediatric dentist in Salt Lake. If you have an emergency their doctors always respond even late at night. They care a lot about the kids making sure they do not feel stress when visiting the dentist. They make great recommendations and I feel that my kids are getting the best care for their teeth.

She looked forward to her appointment for several days prior. After her teeth cleaning, she asked when we could come back. Our child isn't insured, but their prices are reasonable, considering their excellent staff, beautiful office, and state of the art equipment.
