Negative experience: I absolutely recommend you do NOT go to Jefferson Dental. Read their employee reviews on Glassdoor. The hygienists are forced to upsell deep cleanings when you don’t need them. I actually got a gum infection from one, and it turned out I didn’t even need it. They do not use CBCT & bled me dry for expensive procedures that were done terribly! I had to have them redone. Also, I’m about to have to get a tooth extracted because they did a root canal and crown on a tooth that has no stability and still causes pain after bite adjustments, night guards, etc. When they do poor work, they won’t fix it. They blame and charge you for something else. Unethical, terrible place with revolving dentists. Go to a private practice, and stay away from this patient mill.

Negative experience: I will never go to this Jefferson Dental again. It's only two nice people there, a young black girl and a white girl that took my Xray. The manager is rude and money hungry and so is the Doctor. Giving this clinic a rating of 1 star is way too kind for them, I had to give a 1 in order to post this. I'm going to find myself a Dentist with a good honest spirit.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time visting this office and we had such an amazing experience! My 4 year old had her first cleaning and x-rays and Ms. Andrea was so gentle, sweet and attentive! She was extra aware sense it was her first exam! Then, she met the Dental Hygienist, Rick, and he provided a seamless and quick cleaning, and gave her a great care package and put the biggest smile on her face! Then, mama bear was next! I have a very sensitive gum area so x-rays are never fun!!! Lol but again, the staff was super sweet, aware and ontop of it! Andrea and Monica teamed up to make sure it was fast and as painless as possible! They even made me aware that I had a torid(extra bone) which is why it causes discomfort! So all together they pulled it off, and I got to see a 3D image of my teeth lol it was cool!!! Rick came in and educated me on my gum health and hooked me up with a cleaning and laser treatment! I also had an exam with Dr. Handa!! She was so cool, knowledgeable and just a straight shooter! This is the first time I've gone to the dentist and didn't dwwl judged!!!! Everyone is wayy too cool!!! Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth out as well as fixed some cavities and the ladies who worked on me were awesome. The dental assistant let me hold her hand when getting two of the four shots that did happen to sting a little. They were very open with what all was going to be done and how to care for my teeth afterwards. They also help with payment plans with was why i had picked them in the first place. Would recommend and they also let me keep my teeth.

Positive experience: I love this dentist the prices are great and I love how they break things down so you can understand. But what I don’t like is I took a day off to get a cleaning and I have to either come back later or come back another day, when I scheduled a cleaning. That is why I hesitate to make appointments because of the time it takes. Every other aspect of this practice is top notch.

Negative experience: Update Edit: I was singing praises of this staff only to be let down time after time, maybe it is just me but I would NEVER recommend this facility. The front office staff 1. Not knowledgeable 2. Not friendly 3. Does not follow through with what they say. I'm now looking for more compassionate, helpful and more truthful dental provider in my area. Make decisions how you will but from my experience stay away Great hygienist, super nice DA and dentist, my teeth are are horror show. Very detailed in their plan understanding of dentist anxiety. Wish I could have financed the work I need NOT THEIR FAULT. Luis is an awesome manager

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with everything I've gotten from Jefferson dental!! the Dr does so well explaining, the Hygienist cleans my teeth so well it makes me feel younger, the lead assistant is so caring and always makes sure I'm okay. Negative experience: Please, DON’T go there. They make root canal to my Daughter (BAD Quality material used on her root canal which nrocken in 1 month) and charged to medicaid in october 2024. Now are mid of february and they did not order the crown for her, they didn’t even took crown messurement and today had an apointment and after 1 hr said they cannot attend her with the excuse of they don’t have doctor provider when there were more patients. Ahhj aldo had 5 applintment before today appointment and same thimg happened. Will not longer go there anymore!!! Very disapointed!!

The dentist explained everything thoroughly and offered options to correct the issue. There were no hidden fees attached to my visit as front desk assured. Knowledge IS Power!!!!!! Positive experience: My experience with Jefferson Dental was ok. The work (cleaning) was as good as you could get I guess. Who really enjoys pain? The only complaint I really have is the abnormal amount of reminders for my appointment leading up to the actual appointment day. There was 8 text reminders plus an actual call the day before. A simple reminder and a curtesy call would have been sufficient.

Fantastic experience: Well it’s taking forever to have my procedure completed. Just found out today that I go see my provider at a different location. This may have speeded up the process. The entire staff is wonderful!!!

Negative experience: If I could rate it 0 I would my appointment was scheduled for 10:45 got there at 10:28 it's 2:22 and I just walked out without being serviced..Mind you a lady came in 11:15 on the dot and immediately started raising hell because it was a lobby full ..you know they too her child before me n a few people who was there before me..I WOULDN'T recommend this plate for animals let alone a human

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend this dentist office unless you find unnecessary dental work and bills a fun experience. Here's why: My husband and I came here because of the flexible hours and good reviews. However, we were both less than impressed with our impersonal experience. We were both told that we needed a list of work done on our teeth, and even when I told the Doctor that I didn't understand what he was showing me, he moved on and told me to just get the work done. My gut told me something wasn't right, so instead of setting up appointments to do the work, we took off work to made the drive to my husband's former dentist whom he trusts after many years of visits. We were both told that our teeth were in beautiful condition and that NOTHING needed attention. We also had an incredibly tough time getting our x-rays sent from Jefferson to the other office, which only confirmed our decision never to come back.

Fantastic experience: Been here more than once great place, great service, and great people. Dr Shah does amazing work good doctor with her assistant Monica who also does a great job at her work, Including everyone else all assistants and front desk people.

Fantastic experience: Staff were very professional, welcoming and comforting. I was extremely nervous to have my tooth extracted but it was quick and painless. I actually didn’t even know the extraction was finished. I just wish I would’ve had this done sooner, but it’s better late than never.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shan has been my dentist since his time at the Matlock branch, so when I learned he transferred to the Grand Prairie branch, I booked an appointment there. I was not disappointed. The staff at this location provide excellent customer service and are very attentive, especially Monica, who always ensures I'm comfortable. Georgina is also professional and checks in to make sure everything is going well while Dr. Shan attends to me. Manager Luis is incredibly helpful, offering recommendations and answering my questions about appointments . Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return for my future dental work.

Fantastic experience: So to summary me my crown fell out THREE TIMES before I came to this location. Monica went above and beyond with getting me the services I needed and explaining every step. I was to the point where’d I’d pull it out myself just to be done with this. But I’m glad I came back. Rick was my hygienist, a great guy! Very meticulous, teeth feel great and recommended some good products to maintain. And lastly Dr Shah. The universe needs to bless Dr Shah. He wanted this to be perfect, and took all the time necessary to do so. When someone cares you can see it and he definitely cares. Thank you everybody!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I usually HATE going to the dentist, but I had the best experience at Jefferson Dental! Every single person I spoke to was super helpful and welcoming. I was taken care of by Dr. Arbaugh, Monica, Luis, and Rick, and they made my visit great! While getting worked on, everyone constantly made sure I wasn't in any pain and made me feel super comfortable. Everything was explained to me in detail, and I left with no questions. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shaw was thorough and attentive, and I really appreciated his bedside manner. Hygienist Rick was very knowledgeable, and the nurses all did an excellent job as well. Fantastic experience: I love this branch of Jefferson because there is an excellent staff who works at my convenience. I also find appointments after five o’clock in the evening, and this suits me very much. I feel confident with all the workers in this branch and reassured in the presence of Dr. Blake and Monica dentist assistant the team that works with him. I was also very satisfied with the treatment plan that was developed by them. Also, for the flexibility that I found from Dr. Black in developing a treatment plan, I was very happy. I thank all the nice and flexible staff and I hope to frequent this branch often.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I went Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics. I hadn't been to the dentist for quite some year's because I've always been afraid to vist the dentist. Surprisingly everything went well. I had some deep cleaning and some Fillings done and I didn't feel a thing. The Blake and his entire staff are wonderful. Very caring and exceptionally professional. Negative experience: This is by far the worst place to ever go to. A tooth extraction at my primary is less than 100 dollars. I explained what I needed to be done. They first wanted to charge 2600$ for a root canal or $289 for an extraction. After four injections the guy broke off my tooth struck the inside of my mouth 3 times with the instruments, and drilled into the gum. It took 6 stitches to close the gaping hole in my gum this 42-minute ordeal was supported by a smirking operations manager. I know the medical association and health administration should pay a visit to this facility i do believe that dirty tools are being used and hands are not being properly cleaned before caring for patients. Please avoid this facility unless you know that the health inspectors have investigated. The word professional is not true and I question if the person in charge has a license to practice .By far the worst experience in 50 years

Positive experience: It was a real long wait like over a hour but my baby was happy and didn’t cry plus the staff was super friendly and nice. The teeth cleaning service for a 4yr old was perfect!

Positive experience: I went in today for a checkup & cleaning. My favorite person there was Dental Asssistant Monica. I was impressed that she was so quick & efficient, yet bubbly & friendly at the same time. Dentist Blake & Hygienist Rick also did good work, were friendly & made me feel comfortable. My only complaint is that I had to wait in the consultation room too long to get information which they could have found out & told me while I was still in the dentist's chair. They could've gotten me finished a half hour earlier if they'd done it that way & that's why I don't give 5 stars. A meeting in the consultation room shouldn't be mandatory for every minor detail of preventive care; it's a waste of time unless it involves a lot of dental work & alot of money.

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment for my son. I get a call the next day to confirm his appointment and I confirm it over the phone. On his appointment date I showed up on time to sign him in and get told his appointment was cancelled and someone else took his spot? Because I didn’t confirm? Told them I confirmed it and told me they were booked!! Never again here just wasted my time and day!

Positive experience: Love how the doctor always treats me that’s the only reason I go back . Dental hygienist shows you a treatment plan that seems like he just put in whatever codes he wants . Same service I paid for which was laser treatment $60 just so happen to be almost $400 this go around same insurance might I add, but here is the kicker he comes back not even 5 min oh I can honor the $60 you paid . So you was willing for me to pay the $400 but just so happen to pull a magic trick and now I can pay $60 make it make sense . So I’m assuming he didn’t want to do the cleaning of my teeth at all that I’m due under my insurance plan which is a free cleaning because I sure as hell didn’t get that as well. It’s always something with them . Just like prior to them calling me about a bottom flipper I never received saying I had a balance for $300 that took months to prove them wrong after calling my ins over n over and the office finally I got that taken care of. So I’m ready for what excuse yall have about this oh and I was in yesterday so look it up . For all I know he probably even charged the ins for a cleaning and never did it. Oh and I asked for a copy of my X-rays he said I can email them you think I got those ? No

Fantastic experience: Love the way the whole team treated me!! They were always making sure i was confortable, responded to all my questions and explain really well treatment. I have been in different Jefferson clinics but definitely this is my favorite.
