I recommend this office for anyone who may have fears and anxiety. You are put at ease and everything is explained before you are touched for each procedure. Great job!! Fantastic experience: I wanted to edit my previous review to amplify how wonderful and professional this group of people are. The office manager held her calm dealing with a very hostile client on the phone. Her conflict de-escalation was top par, neither raising her tone nor showing frustration. Afterwards apologizing to the 3 of us in the waiting area for not being able to attend to us sooner. Kept it calm and never missed a beat getting back to business. Give that woman a raise! As always the staff was amazing. They make Gracie feel comfortable and always explain things as they go so she doesn't get anxious. Gracie loves being your patient.

Negative experience: Little shop of Horrors!!!! Find a different dentist, Doctor G is awesome in Harrison...I'm on Medicaid and had to pay for partial dentures, and had to borrow this money to begin with. Come to find out, they are $200 less than they charged me, so they have to return the $200 to me. This was 6 weeks ago....today they tell me the office is issuing the check, and it will be 30-90 days from TODAY that they will send it out! I'm already going to have this money paid back from the person I borrowed it from before I get the refund, this is absolutly HORRIBLE. Not to mention the lady that works the front has BIG attitude problem... The list of issues with this places goes on... STAY AWAY..... EDIT**** still haven't received my money back yet!!!!

Negative experience: This place is awful. They are very rude in the front and know how to make someone feel like crap. The dentist and the assistant that helped my two sons in the back were AMAZING but that front desk sure is a crap show and they are very very very very very rude.

Negative experience: Horrible place. I wont get into specifics for hippa violation but i will not be attending this dental office again. The provider herself was fantastic. The front office staff, i have never had a worse experienece with front staff.

Fantastic experience: This is probably the best dentist I’ve ever visited. They made sure I was fully prepared for my first visit. They ran my insurance to see if I required a copay and were completely transparent in informing that I wasn’t getting my tooth extracted on the first visit. They were so nice and personable and I would recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful people who allowed me back even after I missed several appointments and had been (rightfully) barred from service. They took care of my problems, were smiles the whole time, but most importantly they were understanding of my prior life situation and were happy to help a man turning his life around. 5/5 all day, everyday.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible, only came here as a last resort for my foster child and everytime I have shown up at the appointment time the appointment was canceled. First time they bio parents did not verify the appointment even though I was the one to make the appointment, no one called me. OK I rescheduled, got called less then an hour before scheduled time, they had a cancelation and they could move us up, I informed them I could try to be a little early however I like 20ish minutes away (I do not live in Harrison). Arrived just before scheduled time and they canceled, unless I wait around and hour with 2 littles to be seen as someone else was moved up due to the cancelation. Very frustrating!

Negative experience: Was trying to reschedule an appointment which I have never had issues before hand but a lady named kara made it not only difficult but unbearable to speak with on the phone. Very rude and made the whole experience just uncomfortable for me.

Fantastic experience: My experience at my community dental centers of Harrison, Michigan has been amazing.These folks are very professional, amazing and kind people. I would recommend them to anyone. Becca wonderful and very professional.

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place at all cost! Every single time I had any work done as simple as just a cavity being fixed, some how they damaged my teeth worse and left me in more pain! My new dentist is now having to go back and fix everything they where supposed to "fix" And if you ask these people to fix their own mistake they will charge you for it. Not to mention they had to do work on my back tooth and apparently didn't know how to dumb me and started doing work and I felt EVERYTHING. I've never been to a worst dentist in my life. Absolutely do not go here it's not worth the damage they cause.

Negative experience: Notice how all the positive reviews are from people whose kids got a checkup or they got a little cleaning.... Every review from someone who needed real dental work is a negative one because this place is HORRIBLE. Office staff that doesn't know how to schedule people or communicate properly, and the worst dentists in the history of the world. Seriously avoid this place if you value your dental health

Negative experience: Avoid this place. Every time I have had any work done here I have to come back because it wasn't done properly (not sealing or solidifying fillings, turned one of my teeth blue and they have no solution besides for me to go pay for a specialist on my own dollar, plus just general bad dentist work all around). Im so grateful to now have insurance with my employer and can go to a real dentist again. Oh and the office staff are unprofessional and horrible communicators. (Don't tell your patients it's their fault that all of the work the dentist has done has been subpar, maybe get a better dentist)

Negative experience: After waiting more than 6 months for my cleaning appointment scheduled for 4/16 at 3:30 I show up just to be told I’m not on the schedule. I can reschedule, I don’t think so. The receptionist was blasé about it. I’m sorry I work, took the day off, lost money and I’m suppose to reschedule. Unacceptable

Negative experience: Took over a year to get my dentures. My remaining teeth are crooked and have shifted but they refuse to send me to a Dr that does braces. My top denture doesn't fit right and the dentist made it worse. This month is the end of being able to fix them and no appointment still.

Negative experience: Recently switched dentists and they were absolutely horrified by the work I had done in the past from here. She ended up creating a care plan to redo quite literally almost everything I’ve gotten done at this office over the past couple years. I called here to try and get an emergency appointment for a tooth that broke down the middle and the receptionist was extremely rude and told me it wasn’t an emergent issue, and tried to book me out for August. The mount pleasant office and two other offices I tried to get into because of the issues I’ve had here in the past told me it WAS an emergent issue especially because it was bleeding profusely and causing a lot of pain, and recommended I check around to see if any other offices could get me in considering they wouldn’t have availability til early march, better than August, but not ideal when you’re mouth is consistently pooling with blood, and you can’t even eat. I ended up biting the bullet and going to a different dentist in Saginaw, and I wish I never went here for all those years before. She said my fillings were poorly done, that almost every single one needed to be redone, and that a tooth I’ve been complaining of sensitivity in since I had it filled here was actually filled past the root and would need a root canal now. She assessed the rest of them and said they were too sharp and ruining my bite, and recommended I crown one of them because they left very little tooth structure and a regular filling was most likely gonna break, just like the first one did. This office used to be really good in the beginning, and Dr. O’Brien used to do a really good job, but over the past couple years it’s like they’re rushing in and out, and doing subpar work at best. You never know what you’re gonna get from the front desk, there’s times they’re very nice and helpful, and other times they are extremely rude and condescending. You can literally hear them bashing other patients in the background of phone calls half the time. If you CAN go anywhere else, I would recommend you do. It’s a coin toss of wether or not they’ll fix your problem or make it much worse. 2 stars solely for the hygienist and dental assistants that were always more than amazing, otherwise, run.

Fantastic experience: The dentists, dental assistants, and staff at this facility have been absolutely amazing to deal with. They are working incredibly hard to handle an underserved community, and as far as I have been able to tell are doing very well. I spent years neglecting my oral health and they’ve done everything in their power to help me rebuild better habits, and the ability to comfortably eat again. Its incredibly difficult to get me numb, yet they took the time to ensure I was as numb as possible, reapplying numbing agents 4 or 5 separate times through the dozen or so extractions I got myself into. Now we are working on building a set of dentures for me, and they have been both compassionate, and respectful the entire way. Absolutely incredible people working hard to help an underserved community. I commend them, and recommend them to anyone that asks.

Fantastic experience: So far each person that has seen me for dental work has been friendly and really seems to care about their patients. If a procedure is not feeling right they stop and do what needs to be done to help me be more comfortable. I use to shake going into dentists because of bad experiences but here I am comfortable.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for 10 years, took all my grandkids into the dentist today, kept every appointment today and in the past to be treated like absolute crap by a receptionist at the front desk , named "Michelle" very unprofessional. Everyone else there treated my grandkids and myself with excellence, thank you! To all those staff members.

But the last 4 times I have come for an appointment I have confirmed the appointment only to be told they couldn't honor that date and that I'd have to reschedule in person every time. I'm driving 28 miles to be told no it appears you canceled it .PROVE TO ME WHERE I SELECTED CANCEL APPOINTMENT, YOU HAVE NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE THAT IVE CANCELED THIS MANY TIMES . I HAVE SPENT 20 DOLLARS IN GAS WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN CALLED OR SENT A TEXT. 4 TIMES

Fantastic experience: *EDITED TO INCLUDE SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH REVIEW* 10/2020 This was my first visit to this dental clinic, but I am impressed. The assistant and dentist were kind and helpful. I plan to continue returning here for dental care and cleanings. 01/2021 My second visit to this dental clinic was once again superb. This dental office reminds me of the one I had as a child, which was a very good one too. Good dental clinics are hard to come by. And when you find a good dental clinic, you gain good confidence in dental work. Those qualities make for positive reinforcement on dental health. I fully recommend this dental clinic to anyone who can afford/have the insurance to go. I am so pleased and relieved. 03/2022 Just as every other visit and appointment has been at the Harrison Dental clinic, my visit went superbly. After three visits over a period of 3 years I can honestly say that the overall result of going to Harrison Dental Clinic is confident bliss. I don't worry about whether the dentist or assistent's know what they are doing. I don't have any undue pain being caused by the staff here. I cannot say enough good things, truly. If you can afford to go to this dental clinic, do go here for your sake. You won't regret doing something this good for you. 07/2024 I missed typing up a review for the dental clinic last year. But I can assure the reader of this that the clinic continues to surpass all other dental clinics I've ever been to. This clinic, and the other medical facilities here, are so superb that I have not moved away from this town because I am grateful for the kindness and expertise shown by the medical community. I cannot recommend Midmichigan Health or the My Community Dental Clinic enough.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was on time. The receptionist and hygienist were friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The office and exam room were clean and comfortable. The dentist also provides excellent care and is friendly and personable. I go to the dentist twice a year and have always received excellent care, friendly service and felt they were trying to help me with recommendations for better care.

Positive experience: They were fantastic. Very quick and efficient. Made my son a very happy boy. They made him very comfortable and kept him from stressing. Great people

Negative experience: Set up an appointment that took a year to get into. Said I was covered with my insurance. They called me the week before to tell me they needed to change my appointment. I changed it for 2 weeks later. They then told me I would have to pay out of pocket because the don’t accept my insurance. I asked if my son could be seen in my place and they said no. Unbelievable! I waited a year to find out they just don’t want to take care of anybody. I could hear people in the background making comments about me while I was on the phone. Not professional and don’t really care anymore than the private dentist offices!!!!

Positive experience: Very nice place it took me a year to get in and it ended up being a year since I had a cleaning. You said I needed a deep cleaning and I can’t get in till Jan So that’s going to be two more cleanings missed. I was really hoping that this appointment would have included a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend mid Michigan dental office, Harrison, mi. They do a great job cleaning your teeth etc. and they have lots of patience! and the girls at front desk even entertain your young children when you have no choice but to take them with! Plus they are careful and not get rough and hurt your mouth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5 STARS BABY

Negative experience: Today very poor! I needed get get back in to help someone his sugar may have been low. He was dizzy! I told the lady at the desk and she just looked at me and continued to ask the man at the desk his name even the man told her that I needed in! She continued with the man until she was done! Very rude!

Negative experience: The positives: The receptionists are very friendly and helpful for the most part. Some of the dentists are caring and knowledgeable. The negatives: This is the hardest place to get an appointment that I've ever seen. I've had to wait 6 months before and lost a tooth because I had to wait so long with a cavity. Today, I was told there was a 1 year wait because I hadn't had an appointment in 2 years. I called Houghton Lake Dental and have an appointment next week even though I've NEVER been there. I also had 2 fillings fall out within 3 years of receiving them. Pretty sure that's not normal. I wonder if they use cheaper filling material. I will never go back to this place.

Fantastic experience: This is probably the friendliest and yet professional medical office I've ever been to. I was a little nervous having a tooth extraction but the young assistant to Dr. Nancy answered all of my questions and gave me all the details of what was about to happen and how to care for myself after the procedure. Dr Nancy was able to deaden the area with minimal discomfort. I felt a little pressure but she didn't leave a scratch inside or outside my mouth. I had no pain at all as the feeling came back in. There has been no discomfort at all since yesterday. This was a very positive experience for me. The office staff were very helpful and friendly too. Fantastic experience: Emergency appointment at 8:00 am for assumed gum/tooth infection; was in the chair at 8:15 am and out at 8:40 with prescription. My first time for an emergency visit (which could be an all day waiting) was quickly taken care of by the staff and Dr O’Brien.

Negative experience: Priorities could be better. Went in for a broken tooth last June and the priority is the caveties? I was recently marked "urgent" for a crown but still can't be scheduled for another 9 months.

Fantastic experience: I thought I might've needed more than what was necessary, so I made an appointment for an extraction. Dr. Bob and Alyssa, the dental assistant, did a thorough job& and ended up deciding that I needed a filling, much to my relief. I was in an out within an hour. I was provided an opportunity for refreshments, and treats, before and after my visit. Thorough, professional and above all else, they make it easy. Thank you again, I will be in for another visit in the future. Still 5 stars, came back for a cleaning & Ms. Jamie took care of me. I did not catch doc's name, but he was awesome as well!

Fantastic experience: I visited the New Herbology Cannabis Company in West Branch today! Very nice people. Leslie is the one who assisted me today. She was great. Showed me different products and was very informative on the products. I will definitely return. I have told quite a few people about the Herbology Cannabis Company!!
