Negative experience: I agree with many of the other reviews. The front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, which creates a poor first impression for new patients. In particular, the older lady with glasses was especially rude.

Positive experience: I hope we are the only ones to have gone through this with Nikki, but that woman is rude and should not be in personal care or customer service. My friend walked in expecting the usual dentist and was not aware of his retirement until she was in the back and the new guy walked in. My friend's anxiety spiked as she has dental trauma and instead of being kind and gentle and explaining the change she was told to calm down or they (Nikki) would cancel her appointment. My friend tried to explain her anxiety and why she was upset but the woman kept interrupting her in anger. Once I began asking for her name to report her she walked away and my friend turned toward the new dentist to explain she had no problems with him, just that she was caught off guard and panicking that she was finally able to get a full sentence out. Thankfully the dentist and nurse Brea/Bri were able to speak to her with care and concern and TRUE understanding and with their help she was able to continue her appointment. However, during the procedure Nikki returned to the room while my friend couldn't see her and I had to ask her to leave, I don't know why she came back to the room, it seemed antagonistic to me seeing as she had nothing more to contribute to the appointment. I don't dislike this location, the rest of the staff was very understanding and concerned but Nikki was in a MOOD and I'm my opinion is she is "handing a lot right now" as the staff says then she should not have come into work. She chose to be at work and if she could not leave her private life and struggles out of her work ethic she should not have been at work. People like Nikki are the reason people don't like the dentist, thankfully the rest of the staff here are amazing and KIND. 3 stars because the staff deserve better but that woman needs to go through more customer service care training.

Fantastic experience: Today was my son’s first visit. Though he has nervous and needed a bit of work done, the staff was great! Made him feel at ease and he was able to get through the appointment. Negative experience: There is something shady about the office. I was charged a new fee I didn’t know about and they tried to charge it to my husband and when he asked what it was for they didn’t have an answer and just danced around it. I canceled my appointment twice and I have been harassed with phone calls and emails about my upcoming visit. They advertise pediatric dentistry but the lobby has no food or drink allowed and there are no toys so it’s not very child friendly. At first there were very short waiting periods but now a year later we had really long waits. I was given a filling that is still painful two years later and the dentist says it’s fine. Needless to say we’re finding a new dentist…

Negative experience: I brought my kids to this practice and it turned out to be such a negative experience that I will never be back. I can't speak to the adult care but to be advertised as pediatric dentistry is a misrepresentation compared to other practices. The exam stalls have no TV to distract kids; we were there for 1.5 hours for a basic clean and check up. My kids were blinded by the light due to lack of sunglasses offered at other places. My son was left on the x-ray chair unattended after the photos and had to find his way back to me in the lobby. The staff all seemed confused and lost, walking back and forth trying to find someone. They tried to get me to sign a treatment plan without even telling me the cost. The quoted 2 different prices for each kid even though they had the same treatment. The dentist never introduced herself, talked to staff about personal topics in the middle of explaining the treatment to me, and never asked my kids if they had any dental issues (they're old enough to communicate). In short, I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Negative experience: Didn't even make it to writing my full name on the check in sheet. Very unprofessional front stuff so I can just imagine how the back staff are. The front desk staff had ZERO decency or respect of my time, instead, they waited for me to come into my appointment just to tell me they called my insurance a day prior and found out it was inactive. OKAY. So why not call your patient to inform either day of or the morning of the appointment? The staff was completely dismissive and offered a cleaning of $50.00 for the same appointment with out insurance LOL. What a scam of a way to make money. Thank you for wasting my time, but also thank you for letting me know the way Lovett Dental works so I can share with others NEVER to give you all business!

Negative experience: 8/28/2025 I was finally called by Nicky of the office manager July 30. I was told that they could not make the refund ($219) to my credit card since I had to cancel the one I used, Fine, so she took my address, double checked, and told me I could expect the check in 7 to 10 days. Crickets since then. Still no refund 32 days later. Another broken promise... As previously, posted "...you be the judge if this is what a customer should have to go through for a legitimate refund. Be careful and check your billing in detail before paying. If there is an overcharge, you will not get a refund." I have been trying to get a refund for an overcharge since November, 2024. I have been promised multiple times that the "check was in the mail". Now they are "ghosting me" and not responding to emails, text messages, or messages left with them. This office said that the corporate office will take care of it, and the corporate office says it is waiting on paper work from the Louetta. location. I filed a complaint with the BBB that tried to contacted the Louetta office, but they did not respond to the BBB inquiry either. Be careful and check your billing in detail before paying. If there is an overcharge, you will not get a refund. In regard to response from the "owner". I was told on 3/11/2025 by the office manager that I would be issued a refund and check would be sent from the corporate office. After waiting 4 weeks I called again and was told it would take six to eight weeks for the check to be issued. After waiting another four weeks I called again and was told the office had not filled the paperwork for a refund. That is when I wrote the review/warning above. Within in hours of posting the review I got a call from the office (a first) was told that corporate had lost the paperwork but the she, the office manager, had refiled it with a rush priority with corporate. Again, I was told the correct amount due me and that I could expect to receive a check in a timely manner. I informed her I would take the review/warning down, if and when I received that promised check. So you be the judge if this is what a customer should have to go through for a legitimate refund. BTW... they did try to blame the delay on the insurance company too. So it has been two months since I was promised a payment. That has not been received. It is impossible to speak with anyone since no answers the phone or returns call. Going on 9 months with no answers or resolution just broken promises. 7-29-2025

Negative experience: Tl;Dr They tried to get me to leave a review while I was still numb and couldn't tell they had messed up. 1 filling fell out and 2 others are also having to be redone. I had several fillings that they said they could get all done at one time. This meant numbing all 4 quadrants of my mouth (something my new dentist said he wouldn't consider). Suffice to say, it didn't go great. Aside from rushing and trying to get the new hire to her lunch break, the doctor did a shotty job cause I had pain and temperature sensitivity after the appointment that I hadn't had before - I came in with 0 pain. My lower jaw was swollen and sore for weeks. I couldn't eat well, but was conflicted about going back if he had messed up that bad. I went back after 2 months of pain and he ground on a bunch of my teeth - to the point where I could tell they didn't touch anymore and there was a gap. When it didn't fix the bad pain in one spot he kept making me tap tap tap that purple paper... which hurt so bad, but I did it thinking it would help him fix it. After I left the adjustment (him grinding my teeth away), things were a bit better, but still hurt some and the sharp pain on the left was still there. 2 weeks later, one of my fillings fell out. That's when I decided never to go back. Your teeth are forever (hopefully) and I wouldn't trust them to this dentist. The new dentist found a large crack in one filling and another that is shaped badly so that I can't floss between my teeth. We are working through the list of pains slowly to make sure we do it right. I'm going to end this by saying I've never left a bad review, but with their practice of trying to force you to leave a 5 star review when you leave is insane and likely means the 5 star reviews can't be trusted.

Negative experience: My mother went here, was told she NEEDED a deep cleaning. She paid over 1K to later be charged more after this facility billed her for an extra service that was not completed. She has called multiple times and shown up to discuss this matter. They blame “the insurance” being the issue. The insurance has made it clear that this office over billed her. Today I spoke with Manager Nicky, who agreed they overcharged her for something that wasn’t done and would contact billing. She promised an email would be sent to my mom today with a solution. NO EMAIL WAS SENT. Facts 1. The manager lied 2. The front desk is rude 3. They billed her for a service that was not completed 4. My mom paid her part This company should be ashamed for taking advantage of their patients. DO NOT GO HERE! Update: nickie is working on getting it fixed, will report back if this happens. Nonetheless I feel bad for people like my mother and the ones below who struggle with this.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this was the only location available for my past due cleaning. It has been 10 months. After X-rays and pictures taken I was informed that I needed a deep cleaning. No cavities. I refused. They proceeded to let me know they couldn’t do a routine cleaning. OK no problem I left the location immediately. You could just tell they are trying to push clients to do unnecessary work. Sorry but not sorry. I called my insurance. I will get my cleaning. Thanks. Scammers.

Negative experience: Super small place with barely any sitting area super warm inside they do not go by appointment times, they take people in any type of order.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience there. They don’t answer the phone. All the phone calls go to a phone bank overseas, and the calls are never returned. I was shown a fee schedule by the office & was told it was the contract amount & my insurance would pay nothing. I was shown the wrong fee schedule. I believe on purpose. & was overcharged by almost $1000. They told me my insurance wouldn’t pay anything and they got & cashed 2 payments from them . The insurance doesn’t allow extra fees on HMO’s so they are doing an investigation. This is the worst medical/ dental business I have ever dealt with. I have no idea whether it’s the office or Lovett Has a really bad system . I did think the Dentist was great though!! Was looking forward to having more work done. They lost a patient and recommendation from me

Negative experience: During my first—and only—visit, I immediately noticed the office felt outdated, with X-rays still being done on film. When the doctor began my exam, the air and water pressure hadn’t even been turned on—something the RDA should’ve had ready. The hygienist spent about 20 minutes using the Cavitron but didn’t do any hand scaling at all. I was then told I had cavities, but because my insurance was “weird,” they needed to verify it first and would call me to schedule treatment. That call never came. I could’ve chalked all that up to a rough first visit, but what really sealed the deal was the attitude I received from the front desk staff. They had accepted my insurance up until January, and when I called to schedule a cleaning afterward, I was met with unnecessary attitude. Do yourself a favor—look for a modern, well-equipped office where patients are treated with professionalism and respect.

Negative experience: It has taken me a few days to circle back around and write this review. I did not want to write this review while I was mad or upset and wanted to give individuals an idea on the pediatric side of my experience. I chose this location because of the area, when you think of the vintage area you think you're going to get a great experience or at least deal with nice administrative staff at the front desk, but this was not the case for my son and I. Due to the short experience I had with the front desk prior to even being able for my son to be seen by the dentist I left. I left from the experience I had with Melissa, because I felt she was a reflection on the entire staff. For a first appointment with Lovett Dental, I did not get to meet the actual dentist, this is the first time in my life I have ever rescheduled an appointment while actually being at the appointment. Lol!!! Waste of time and my money when I could have been at work. I was early to make sure I could get any paperwork filled out or any questions answered prior to my 15 month olds appointment. Now let's get into the experience. There are no toys nor free standing puzzles for young kids to play with on the floor. It would have been nice for something to be there for kids that are 2 and under. Instead everything is very open and I had to keep grabbing my kid from running into the back hallway and stopping him from grabbing signs. I did have problems with my paperwork and had to keep going back up to the front desk, but imagine a young kid frustrated because you keep telling them not to not touch something and all they want to do is run around. My son was frustrated because I could not give him my full attention. I could also tell the front office staff was annoyed and that's ok! I was frustrated because I thought I filled out all my paperwork before arriving but that was not the case. Not a big deal. I was nice, patient and refilled the paperwork information. Which is why I arrived early. Now let's get into my insurance situation. Melissa had to have wasted about twenty-thirty minutes trying to figure out whether I had a PPO or not with Guardian. At least that was her explanation to me prior to me leaving. I had to call my job twice and text back and forth to the front office at my job because she said she could not find my information with what I gave her. Which again is fine, but I'm trying to go above and beyond trying to find information I did not know I needed.....Every time I have been to a dentist's office they are able to see my insurance through my social/birthday. I showed her a picture of my company's name on the card and the group number which she said she could not use. Fine! Not a big deal let me get with my job which I had to keep communicating with and they could not understand how she could not find my information. Let it be known she found my information at the end but at this point I had a frustrated kid and I had been back up to the front desk multiple times. She had stopped helping me to check in other individuals and I felt ignored. I'm sure in her head she probably felt I was taking up too much of her time and was unprepared but it did not warrant the coldness and robotic lecture of repeating herself that she could not help me with information she was given. She at multiple times asked me to wait one moment instead of helping me full on to check in other individuals that were walking in while I was standing at the front desk. LOL!! I thought this was rude, but I had to remember upon my arrival there was a man asking her twenty questions and she was doing her best to be nice and patient. However, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but then she asked me for my personal information and told me to write it down on a sticky note. Now this far into the pre-check in why couldn't she look at my application I re-uploaded for that? What had she been using this whole time to try and look me up for my dental insurance? The experience was a no go. I left disappointed and felt like a nuisance.

Fantastic experience: I visited this location today with pain. The doctor Caire, Nikki, Ruth aok assured me that we could get it taken care of a lot easier than I had initially thought. They worked me into their schedule and saw me almost immediately. Identify the problem and gave me a solution to come back and get treatment. They were patient and kind. Thank you Lovett vintagepark

I have visited many centers in the past years due to my insurance.The office manager is excellent in explaining the dental treatment I needed.I do not have any questions or doubt about my treatment. Th doctor was also extremely confident and made sure I understood the treatment need to give me the BIG SMILE. The office aesthetics is just beautiful. My dental treatment was done in a couple of weeks and I am extreamely satisfid with the way my teeth look. Thanks for my new smile.

Fantastic experience: Everyone that works in this office is amazing. I’ve had tons of dental work in my life, mostly due to bad genetics, and I also have fear and anxiety when it comes to dental pain and dental treatments. But at Lovett Dental they make you feel very welcome and very comfortable. They also never make you feel bad or embarrassed about your teeth issues! They’re all genuinely nice people and the Doctor actually talks to me and chats with me while he’s working on me, but still keeps me updated on what he’s doing in my mouth lol. Today we talked about Jazz music. They make going to the dentist a smooth and easy process, not a scary process! Also they always make sure that I’m not in pain, which is very much appreciated! I will definitely be returning to Lovett for the remaining dental work I still need done!

Negative experience: Scammers !!!! Run from this place. Their contracts mean nothing they overcharge you for braces. Went in for a free cleaning and estimate on getting a tooth pulled. They attempted to charge me my teeth didn't get teeth cleaned and I still didn't get a price to get my tooth pulled.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience! It went by fast. I got an emergency root canal. Nikki was so sweet and super helpful, Ruth and Dr.Care were awesome, sweet, funny, and very helpful. Gave me a blanket to keep me warm. Highly recommend this place. I’m very happy with my service and payment plan.

Fantastic experience: Lilliana cleaned my teeth with such gentleness and patience. She informed me of good brushing techniques that I've never heard known. Dr. Caire was friendly and professional. He now has me looking forward to my next cleaning (which is a 1st).

Negative experience: Update. Lowering my stars. Even after the response to my review and calling... Emily at the front desk was unhelpful and even more rude this time around. ------------------------------------ The hygienist and dentist are very good and I have no issues with my actual visits. However administration wise it's been one problem after another. For awhile I couldn't get anyone on the phone ever. Then Getting info on my treatment plan with insurance info took multiple in person visits, then asking for receipts needed for claims, I'm told one day it will be sent. The next day I'm told the person has no access to email. I really don't want to hop dentist offices but the administration part of this office needs much improvement.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Lovett Dental-Vintage Park! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. My hygienist was thorough yet gentle, making the cleaning process comfortable and painless. They took the time to explain everything and gave me helpful tips for maintaining my oral health. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized, which made the visit even more pleasant. I left feeling refreshed with my teeth looking and feeling great. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Caire is amazing, he pulled my infected tooth amazingly and was really sweet and has a great sense of humor. The two nurses were great too, very sweet and know their jobs. Nurse Ruth and Maria were amazing. The manager Nikki is super sweet and helpful. She got me approved with Sunbit to get my tooth pulled. Teeth Happens! Pictures below of what the tooth looks like. So gross! Lol

Fantastic experience: Dr. Care and his team are fantastic. I was really impressed with the level of customer service that everyone provided. Maria really took the time to understand what my concerns were during the x-rays and the dental hygienist was super pleasant during my deep cleaning. As far as dentist offices go, Lovett Dental on Louetta is a 10/10 highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Lovett Dental on 1023 louetta rd. The staff there are amazing and also welcomed me in a warm atmosphere. I wanna give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Nikki, Lili, Ruth, Maria, Emily and Dr. Caire, Jr. While in my appointment they were showcasing their professionalism and their expertise so it automatically made me want to go there every time when I need to. If you want quality dental and affordable prices for dental care in a good working environment I highly recommend going to this Lovett Dental.

Negative experience: I'm only giving a 2 star review because everyone was nice. This was my first time here. The hygienist couldn't even get the cleaning machine to work and kept yelling for someone to help as she shoves this drill that is not working in my mouth.. Teeth still hurt. She was very rough and tried to upsale everything to me. I asked questions she never answered them just replied well the dentist is going to be on "lunch" soon so what do you want to do? Very rude.. Dentist was in and out, once again like I said he was going to "lunch"... Why book me at this time? Looks like they need some more help and a new hygienist. Won't be coming back!
