Fantastic experience: I have had multiple appointments recently with Smiles for keeps office in Bartonsville. When I tell you they are THE BEST!!! Dr.Rachel has performed perfectly on my fill-ins & Crown! She is super sweet, kind and gentle with care. Melanie has been there for me almost every visit. And when I say she is on top of it . I don’t have to say a word or doctor doesn’t have to say anything & she’ll have everything ready. She is amazing, spunky and over genuine. Oh don’t forget about the reception Crystal! She is great! This is the best dentist office, I’ve ever been too. Thank you all for everything!

Fantastic experience: Face it, everyone is afraid of the dentist. But here, parents can be reassured that their child is in BY FAR THE MOST UNDERSTANDING office I have seen. My children are autistic and they understand I am a helicopter. They work with us non stop to keep them comfortable. At first I was skeptical but time and experiencing their office has made me tear with joy. They have what they call a quiet room which is set up for success and relaxation. Im so grateful to this team

I came in a little nervous, but the entire team made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. The X-ray tech Justine was kind and reassuring. Dr. Mark was amazing — very thorough and gentle. Jennie, the hygienist, did an excellent job and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Alee, the dental assistant, Jessica FDA from OPS, and Paige were also incredibly attentive and welcoming. Everyone worked efficiently without making me feel rushed, which was a huge plus. Overall, I’m really impressed and grateful for the care I received. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: It’s interesting to me how this place has such great reviews, because my experience was very different. I went in myself and also took my kids — and we decided not to return after our first visit. My biggest concern was that my 5-year-old son was taken for X-rays without me being around him. Then the dentist told me he needed major work because of tiny cavities on his front baby teeth — teeth he’s about to lose soon anyway. They were recommending sedation and unnecessary procedures that would have caused him stress for no real reason.

Fantastic experience: I left here today with more than my teeth fixed. I was traumatized as a child and an adult so I've been pretty terrified of dentists. Dr. Viana was incredible, I felt no pain at all and no discomfort. Sharon was wonderful too and Max.... What a sweet and pleasant person. He talked me down from the anxiety, made sure I was okay every step of the way, even offered to hold his hand. I now have trust in a dentist and that means So much to me. I feel very confident bringing my kids here too. I can't recommend this dentist enough ❤️❤️❤️ thank you

Fantastic experience: After one of the most HORRIBLE experiences last year with another dentist, I had my first visit with Smiles 4 Keeps. Not ONLY was it THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A DENTAL OFFICE, but the SIGNATURE SERVICE from BOTH YEKATENNA and ALEE was nothing short of exceptional care. As a healthcare worker myself across the street at St.Luke's, I will have NO ISSUE recommending your facility to both our patients and coworkers by word of mouth if they ever mention dental work. I'll tell them to go across the street. Both Yekatenna and Alee gave me the assurance of a better smile I long for for over 14 years. Thank you so much for the attentive n excellent care I received in just the FIRST VISIT. Looking forward to my next visit.

Negative experience: Okay smiles4keeps what is going on at this office!? I've had nothing but positive experiences here for 10 years.. the last two times I've brought my children, it's been ridiculous. Long wait times, staff rushing around, are they under staffed, over scheduled!? On the 2nd occasion, when I walked in the two receptionists in front were busy, a receptionist in the back had me come through to her side to register, she was great and got my daughter checked in. There was some updating in paperwork I had to do so she sent the paperwork to the kiosk. At the kiosk I started entering my daughters name when she checked to make sure it popped up correctly on the screen, it must not have because another receptionist yells out that it didn't and that I needed to cancel out of it... in which I replied "how do I do that" since there was no visible X or cancel button. This woman YELLED ACROSS THE LOBBY "press the cancel button" and whatever else she felt the need to say in another language. It was very rude and unnecessary for an employee to be aggressively speaking like that! This woman must hate this job or people in general. And should really think about choosing a different career that doesn't involve dealing with the public. The receptionist that was taking care of getting my daughter registered was very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The assistant during my granddaughter’s filling procedure was phenomenal. Thank you Kat and Veronica for making this a relaxing experience McKinley and myself!! Her anxiety was extreme and the assistant was able to bring it down to a minimum.

Brenda S at the front desk was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the process of transferring from my previous dentist. She made everything seamless and stress-free. Negative experience: I've complained repeatedly that they hurt my daughter and they totally ignored my complaints. They put a crown on and it fell off three months later. They insisted it was ok to put another crown on, even though I pointed out that the tooth was decayed, resulting in my daughter losing her tooth. This place is an assembly line of terrible dental "care". They must be paying for all these positive reviews because every time I went there was awful. If the next nearest dentist that accepted my insurance wasn't in Allentown and was able to accommodate an emergency, I would've walked out as soon as I arrived. They demand WAAAAY too much personal information for no reason and have no respect for your time. No one identifies themselves and the employees are shared by several patients at the same time. We had to wait for the dentist for anesthesia partway through a procedure and people were coming trying to pull her away to attend to other patients. They're absolutely awful and I don't know how they're even still in business. They sure don't forget to harass you repeatedly to come back so they can dig in your pockets, though...

Negative experience: I’m currently at the smile4keeps in bartonsville. I had my appointment scheduled for 3:50. I got here at 3:55. They close at 4:30 when I got here it took them exactly 21 minutes to figure out if they were going to take me or not. Scheduling messed up the schedule two times my initial appointment was for the 27th between two and 3 o’clock and My Son’s appointment was today but since they messed it up, they tried to figure out if they can do both. They did and my son’s appointment was scheduled for 1 o’clock and mine was for 330 when I arrived at the place my appointment was scheduled for 1 o’clock and my sons were scheduled for 330 so already. There are two mistakes on the schedule. My Son was able to have his appointment and now I’m here at the dentist office.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my son to his orthodontist appointment today (10/21/2025), and my experience with Dr. Matt was extremely unprofessional. Before even receiving the orthodontic contract, a staff member mentioned that they don’t usually go through such paperwork because most of their patients have Medicaid. I have private insurance and pay most of the costs myself. The quoted total for braces was $4,000. When Dr. Matt came in to see my son, I asked why the cost was so high compared to what I pay in New York. I explained that my daughter is currently undergoing orthodontic treatment there, and I pay $2,800 out of pocket after insurance covers $1,000. Dr. Matt responded that he had never heard of braces costing that little and claimed that the national average is around $6,000. He went on to insult my daughter’s orthodontist, saying that they must have gone to “a crappy school” and likely “don’t have a license.” I informed him that my daughter’s orthodontist graduated from Columbia University and is a board-certified MD. Dr. Matt then sarcastically suggested that I either take my son to New York for treatment or “order supplies from eBay and do it myself.” While examining my son, he stated that my son had a baby tooth and an overbite that might require surgery. Initially, he said he would refer us for a tooth extraction and see us again in six months. Moments later, he changed his mind and said he would not provide a referral, repeating that I should just take my son to New York. He also mentioned that he has been practicing for 13 years and that his father was an orthodontist, then asked for my daughter’s orthodontist’s contact information. In short, Dr. Matt made it clear that he did not appreciate being questioned about his pricing. It seems that because most of his patients are covered by Medicaid, he is indifferent to the high costs he charges and dismissive toward those who ask reasonable questions.

Fantastic experience: My daughters had an appointment today and it was excellent Jeannie was caring and informative. Really took her time with my children. Emily assisted in their visit and she was also kind and attentive to our needs. Really a had an amazing experience today

Negative experience: My husband went there as a new patient. He was told he had many cavities. First visit was only a consultation understandable. But we advised them that he was in terrible pain. They still just scheduled him for services. A day and a half later he developed an abscess that exploded in his mouth. They said he had no infection that was faIse . We call and told them what happen and requested antibiotics they gave him the runaround about it and then denied him antibiotics I made him an appointment at a different dentist. He went there today said tooth that my husband was complaining about was cracked . Smiles for keeps did not tell him this just that he had cavities. The dentist I made him a new appointment with as well did a consultation today, but they were still able to remove the tooth. He came home with it and showed me the crack. And he was as well given antibiotics the same day . I will never use smiles for keeps again .

I love the swaddle for my daughter that’s a little over the top dramatic and didn’t have to do the full put to sleep method at a hospital my previous dentist office suggested and also would’ve been out of pocket. I have terrible dental anxiety and was terrified but Eileen Estrada and Maxie Turner explained every step and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with each step prior to proceeding. Eileen matched my shade perfectly to my other front tooth making sure I was confident to teach on Monday. Maxie made sure the size and shape were exact to the other front tooth. Negative experience: Scam. On the treatment plan look up the billing code they give you and plug it into your health insurance app and look at the actual cost of treatment you’ll be shocked at how they increase the prices. Front desk doesn't know anything, supervisor isn't helpful and one of the assistants had me in a chair for over an hour and a half later to be told by the dentist that there were voids in his work, meaning I had to sit there longer. They also provided my mother with a treatment plan and a year later they are saying the price was a mistake and she owes money.

Negative experience: Terrible customer care. I spoke to them 3 times before coming in and emailed them my insurance card to verify that everything was fine. I called the day before to confirm that my insurance was ok and explained I was coming from an hours drive away. I got there and filled out the longest check-in questionnaire, ever to be told that they don't accept my insurance. Wasting peoples time and money without a care in the world.

Negative experience: Wasted my time coming here just for them To say we have to reach out to my insurance and that I have to wait for a packet in the make for instructions, nope got up and walked out of there , I was told not to go there , next time I won’t , this place is a clown show

Fantastic experience: I struggled for quite some time finding a dentistry that took my insurance for my 4 year old daughter, I finally landed with smiles4keeps and I have been nothing but over impressed with the staff. today was my daughter's third appointment, second procedure for cavities. Marie and Ashley were excellent when it came to my daughter, Terra, during the procedure. they were calm with her and helped keep her stress and anxiety down while also being informative on what they were doing. the way the staff has handled my child has been phenomenal and I appreciate all of you.

Negative experience: This place is a FACTORY! It's run like a factory and "Visiting Dentists" rotate in like Factory replacements. Not to mention the incredibly non event my "teeth cleaning" was. They barely waved some floss in front of my mouth then rinsed with water and...it was done?! Can they even bee called a dental clinic?

Negative experience: Over 2 hour wait to not even get the exam, this place has gone down hill the customer service is terrible and you are treated like crap, it’s like walking into the slums and the workers are not professional at all. The ortho told my one daughter “if she don’t like what he has to say go get another opinion” that was not okay to say to a 16 year old .. I will be transferring my kids out of this place. I’d suggest you all do the same

Fantastic experience: I was there today for my daughter's appt and we had Ashley and Marie, and when I say they were amazing that is an understatement, they held her hand, even sang a lil song. I even cried and they comforted me as a parent. They truly are awesome!

Negative experience: I must express that while the dental care and overall service provided by the Dentist are good, the billing process has been nothing short of a nightmare. For the past five months, I have made numerous attempts to reach the billing department to resolve my concerns, but unfortunately, I am still waiting for a satisfactory resolution. It seems that the administrative team severely lacks essential communication skills, leading to frustrating misunderstandings and prolonged delays. It’s evident that they do not fully appreciate the urgency and importance of resolving billing issues from a patient’s perspective. I strongly advise anyone using their services to review their insurance benefits beforehand, as it appears that their priority is to make their profit. Overall, my experience with their billing department has been incredibly disappointing.

Negative experience: I really wanted to like this place but wow is their service bad. I never feel the need to make reviews but this one’s necessary. My first visit was supposed to be a routine first visit- X-rays, cleaning, and consult. Not only did I not get taken back until 30 minutes after my appointment, but I was there for almost TWO HOURS. On top of that, they wouldn’t even do the cleaning. I needed medical clearance from my doctor. I have never in my life been to a dentist that wouldn’t do a cleaning because they need approval from my doctor. Immediately I was fuming about this place. Unfortunately, they’re the only one in the area that takes my insurance so I had no choice. Just went back today almost two months after the medical clearance for my cleaning. I’m currently sitting in the cleaning room an hour after my appointment was scheduled for with no one here. I’m so beyond disappointed and upset. I shouldn’t have to sit and wait an hour for a cleaning.

Negative experience: Horrible time management. Two appoints with a client and each appointment ran over an hour wait and then when they would get started they would leave and go work on someone else. Horrible wait times ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the waiting area the staff was welcoming. The waiting time was close to any. The tecnichians were awesome knowledgeable and caring. They let you know about the proceedures. Made sure you knew what they were doing so that you were at ease. The hygienist was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. The dental doctor i have only 1 word. Amazing! Very light on her hands caring. Took her time to explain the procedure being performed, her recommendation also the aftercare. Fantastic experience: We have been coming here since my oldest was 1 yr old and each time they always accommodate him and his fears. The dentists and hygienists are always friendly, polite and happy to calm him and sing through his appointment to get the job done and always well done as we have never had any issues after a visit. Today we visited with the Jenie and Alee and they were awesome. They are also always respectful of our time each visit. Things like this are what will keep us coming back here. Thankful for this staff.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and son have been patients here for 4 years and we have always had a good experience here. Dr Campbell is skilled at working with my little guy who hates getting his teeth cleaned . Today my daughter got her braces taken off and all the staff was friendly as usual, the ortho department was quick but efficient, Shout out to Dr Matt and Nabria also for always answering our questions , I never felt rushed and always have a good experience at smiles for keeps .

Fantastic experience: Everyone here at this location is always kind to us. We schedule both our children at the same time and they are always able to manage us. Jeanne and Alee were absolutely fantastic! All these wonderful ladies are kind, considerate, and very helpful.
