Negative experience: I had 3 teeth pulled today and I was very anxious right off rip. I didn't have a chance to pick up a Xanax before my visit from the pharmacy then I couldn't afford the nitrous I so hoped to get. Numbed me up and then my mom came in and said she'd cover the nitrous and the assistant said I don't need it (because she thought the room I was in didn't have a nitrous set up but it did she was just lazy and didn't want to look for it or move me to another room) they finally set it up. It's not flowing and I kept telling them that. Only when another lady checked on me she realized it wasn't even turned on! Fast forward to the end.. my teeth are out. I asked about after care pain meds because i know ibuprofen 800s isn't gonna cut and it's Friday so I can't call later or tomorrow for something betterand they said Tylenol with codeine. Fine. Then the POOWER GOES OUT! They couldn't fax a script, call it in or even write it. They said they would call once the power is back on. Even if they had to use their own cell phones. Elevator was out. I had a baby in a stroller. A nice lady helped carry the stroller down. Now they are closed! I've called all the Meijer in the area. And no prescription for me. UNBELIEVABLE & TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! **EDITED** The regional manager saw my review and called me early morning on Saturday to apologize and sent in my meds. Thank you Stacey.
Negative experience: Does not let parents back with child. My daughter held up her hand with tears streaming down her face for him to stop for a moment. His response was to push her hand away and continue working. This is why people are afraid of dentists. Policy or not, a minor is a minor is a minor. Will not be back and will not recommend.
Fantastic experience: Staff was extremely professional. I have never received a root cana that didn't hurt. The dentist was extremely gentle and almost painless. I will refer people to you.

My first visit was so gentle from the x-ray, panoramic along with dentist not sugar coating what needed to be done. This is the one place you need to got everything to be done & accomplished. Dr. Mason was absolutely the sweetest & I am very excited for future treatments.

Negative experience: My dentures look nice and the assistant was very helpful but I was not able to get my dentures to fit correctly and it hurts to eat and may not be able to wear them to much until more adjustments are done so hopefully Tuesday they will be adjusted enough to make them better. The dentist wasn't available for adjustments.

Negative experience: Very poor experience. You're told one thing on the phone and absolutely no one in the office has a clue what is and isn't supposed to be done. Needless to say NOTHING had been done for my teeth that they screwed up! However "PAINLESS" , should absolutely NOT be thier name!

A infection worst dental office I have been too,left me alone in the room w a rubber dam on and I started freaking out,I had to get the tooth they messed up pulled out horrible experience if it was up to me this whole place should be shut down
Negative experience: went in for a simple root canal procedure and left with another tooth broken in half. they left me in the room with a dental rubber dam on for 10-15 minutes alone with no warning or advice. all of the staff was insanely rude. when i went back to address the broken tooth, they blamed it on an infection that hadn’t bothered it before.
Negative experience: I was told I reversible gingivitis not periodontitis.. yet the office insists on an absurdly drawn-out process. I had a 10-minute debridement after waiting a week from my initial x ray exam and “consultation” and now they want me to come back in two weeks just to “measure” my teeth. Then I’d have to schedule another appointment for a cleaning. Three separate visits just to figure out if I can have a routine cleaning? Ridiculous. Communication was unclear, the process delays care, and the endless copays make it feel like profit is the priority, not patient care.

Negative experience: I do not recommend, they utilize AI for convenience when setting up appointments and must be cheap software as they can not tell the correct date or times. I called all morning to confirm my appointment and they chose not to answer the phone, with 5-6 people working up front. I arrived to find no appointment for me, wasn’t able to call to confirm beforehand to save time and effort. I’m looking to pursue a lifelong dentist, braces, and professional service. This introduction was CLEAR that this place is serving more than they can handle. Waste of time and the receptionist seemed allergic to apologizing or acknowledging that they chose to not answer the phone all morning. (I called 14 times from 9a-12pm). Disgraceful and unsavory.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to Painless Dentistry for about eight years now and the last year or so my experience here has not been good, there seems to be a high turnover rate because I’ve never seen so many different staff members. also, in July, I had to get a root canal so they had to make a crown for my tooth, three weeks later I returned to get my permanent in and the tooth was too small to where I had a huge gap so they had to take images of my mouth again and send it to the lab and I had to wait another three weeks so when I came in three weeks later, they bring me to the back and tell me that they lost the last images that they took of my mouth and needed to retake the images and send it back into the lab. once again I have to wait another three weeks. It’s been three months of me trying to get a permanent cap. i’ve never been so irritated with this dentist office and all of the years that I’ve been coming here and I never leave reviews when I have bad experiences, but this is just getting ridiculous and I’m very disappointed in my dentist office
Fantastic experience: I had an emergency and they got me in within a week! Could have been sooner, but I was working. They work with me on payment options as well. Update: I had an appointment for 2 fillings and since things were going smoothly they asked if I wanted to do the 3rd and last one, heck ya! Let's do it! She was awesome. Continously asked how I was doing and kept me informed of what she was doing.

Fantastic experience: Love painless dental. They have a very nice staff, friendly and very helpful! Even the dentist is so nice. I had a bridge put in very nice job love it l will tell any very nice place to go they get the job done.
Negative experience: I paid in full for implants over a year and 4 months ago. 1st flop, the temporary dentures provided broke into pieces which they wouldn't replace causing me to spend several hundred more dollars elsewhere so i could have teeth! 2nd flop, one of my 4 implants was drilled in on a slight angle. 3rd flop, an impression broke in the mail; causing over a month delay. 4th flop a second impression broke in the mail. 5th flop, because of my 1 angled implant the final denture couldn't be fitted and was discarded. 6th flop, without telling me, the final denture i got is plastic, not porcelain as paid for, so they could manipulate it at the dental office without sending it out again. 7th flop, because this "final denture" is plastic the 1st day I was home with them 2 individual teeth broke off. Since then 2 more have broken off. 8th flop, I've called and called, left messages with the service and machine with no callback. Im unbelievably unimpressed and very much regret my purchase.
Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Brad. When an issue arises within the organization, staff is willing to address and intercede to correct the problem and provide good customer service. The dental work and care provided is exemplary.

Negative experience: THE WORST DENTIST OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO; my first visit they gave me a free gift card to leave them a good review which doesn't represent the service they give at all. Zero lack of communication, between doctor's and visits, saw a different doctor every time I went and had to tell them what we were doing, you're lucky if you can talk to a person on the phone when you call instead of a robot. You can arrive to your appointment 15 minutes early and not be seen for up to 30 minutes. They also give you no post op treatment or talk to you. The last straw was after I got a filling which got infected, and they wouldn't take accountability for. My tooth and teeth around it still are not the same and I'm seeing a different dentist now to actually fix the problem they caused and which the doctor refused to take any accountability for and wouldn't solve a single thing. DO NOT COME HERE.

Negative experience: Worst dentist next to haggerty. Didn’t do my root canal right back in 2020. I just found out I have a bad infection under the root canal that they did not treat properly. I do not recommend them to anybody.

Negative experience: Not happy right now, I've been going to this place for over 15yrs, I drive over an hour and lately it has been very unorganized, after an hour of waiting I find out they don't even have the materials to do the job and I'll leave it at that
Negative experience: I appreciate their services, but there are a few points I need to share based on my experience: 1. Punctuality & Wait Times: If you're late by just 10–15 minutes, they will cancel your appointment. However, they often keep you waiting for over 20 minutes with no explanation or communication from the staff. 2. Doctor's Attention: The doctor seems to manage multiple patients at the same time. For example, they may give you a numbing injection and then leave you waiting for up to an hour. In some cases, the doctor will even pause in the middle of working on your teeth to attend to someone else. 3. Lack of Post-Treatment Guidance: After procedures like fillings or extractions, there's no clear instruction on what you should or shouldn’t do. You're left to figure out your own aftercare, which can be frustrating and confusing. I hope they consider improving these areas, as it would really enhance the patient experience.

Fantastic experience: Update: I stopped in and had a great visit with the staff and bought some lovely oral hygiene products. 5 stars! Overall they are approaching 5 stars for me the main issue was I had 2 appointments to return to them (they used to be my dentist). The first appointment was booked at 3PM for x-rays however they were overbooked and we did not begin until I think about 4:15 and then we had equipment issues and had to move to another room and I was not out the door until 5:05PM. I did speak candidly with the X-ray technician and he was extremely kind and personable and let me know it was holiday weekend and not something I should generally expect. Seems the reception staff may have overbooked the back half of the day. For my cleaning several days later they were very prompt. I was pleased with the efficiency of the cleaning and the hygienist was very polite and personable. I did discuss purchasing a WaterPik system from them and an electric toothbrush however I need to research expensive products more before I purchase them. They would get 5 stars from me if they had not delayed me so heavily at the X-ray appointment, if the products they sell had a comparison paper or digital page (at the ready printed or more preferably email me the information) so I could review fully at my leisure before purchasing and if the complimentary water fridge was always stocked especially first thing in the morning (my cleaning was in the AM, I think they were out of water bottles). Hope I don't sound like a Karen I like to provide honest feedback and they guided me here via a text link for after the appointment review. Negative experience: Do not recommend, for several reasons: Cleanliness & Technology: The practice has two sides - one modern and one outdated. Unfortunately, I ended up on the outdated side, which was not very clean and relied on old equipment and technology. New Patient Experience: After my exam and X-rays, there was no discussion of a care plan - just a push to schedule cavity fillings. I had to initiate conversations myself to understand the results and next steps. Billing: Extremely frustrating. Reaching anyone in billing is nearly impossible. Every time I called, I was told, “We’ll send a note to the billing department,” but I never received a follow-up. Overall: This practice feels more focused on volume than patient care. Outdated technology, lack of communication, and poor billing practices left me with a very negative impression. While I’m glad others may have had better experiences, it’s hard to reconcile how mine was so drastically different.

Fantastic experience: I started taking my grandson first. He's seven. He had never been to the dentist. They made sure that he was never afraid. This prompted me to do something about my poor dental health. They are always just wonderful every time I go there. It is a very busy dental clinic. Yet they are always nice and smiling. They explain every procedure what it's going to Intel. They're very compassionate about painful procedures. I have recommended several people to Payless dentistry.

Negative experience: I went to repair my filling I got from painless dentistry. I have to wait 6 days. I only got the filling a month ago, it didn't feel right. I was flossing and it popped out now I have a hole in my front tooth! I can't get family photos done because it's visually noticeable. And the sensitivity is unbearable.
Negative experience: They are the worst Dentistry ever. They are very unprofessional they are not honest or truthful when it comes to pricing. Their facility is old and very unorganized. The people we're running around like chicken's with their head cut off. Very unprofessional would not recommend at all. They tell you one thing and do another. Totally terrible when I left there I was very angry and upset. Then I tried talking to gal on the phone in regards to what transpired and she hung up on me. Then I said well have Stacey call me to see if we can straighten this out. Got her on the phone and then she hung up on me unbelievable.
Positive experience: Getting a human on the phone can be quite difficult in fact nearly impossible . Once inside the building zero complaints excellent work.
Negative experience: They are so unprofessional. The doctor said I only needed two wisdom teeth out, but the assistant was so rude, saying, “You should probably get all of them taken out, because you ended up in this problem today from delaying. So just get them all out.” Then the receptionist rescheduled me for next month, and when I asked her how much I owe and what my balance is, she goes, “Oh, I don’t know, I’m new.” Like, okay, I get it, but at least ask someone else! And the worst part is her coworkers weren’t even helping her out either
Negative experience: Every single appointment we get here gets lost and the people working reception will outright lie to you and tell you they take your insurance when they don't then they try to stick you with a bill. Probably the rudest and most unprofessional staff. Idk how much the reception gets paid but its far too much considering they dont know how to do their jobs at all. Hope everyone here has a bad day because every interaction i have with this place is beyond bad. If you can avoid this place please do but unfortunately im stuck going to this pathetic excuse for a dentist

Negative experience: I had a poor experience with Dr. Ayman Fayyad; he came across as condescending and apathetic regarding my dental issue. Asking him questions was difficult and uncomfortable (his answers were ambiguous, condescending and confusing; he also seemed in a rush). Because of this, I'm going to seek out another dentistry to hopefully get a better understanding of my condition along with solutions (I feel uncomfortable calling back to request another consultation with a different doctor). If you go to this dentistry, I would recommend seeing another doctor (Dr. Brad and Dr. Mason seem to have great reviews). Aside from Dr. Fayyad, everyone else seemed nice for the most part. Fantastic experience: My daughter had a cleaning today and I absolutely loved the way Anna cleaned my daughter’s teeth. She was so comfortable she was ready to fall asleep. Also happy I got a second opinion with my daughter’s teeth. I was took by another dentist she needed five teeth pulled and to go to an oral surgeon. Happy I came here first before I let them extract my 9 year olds teeth! Update… my daughter had her second visit to get some filings done and one tooth was extracted. I was in fear that when she came out she’d me crying and afraid of the dentist. The process was smooth and quick and my baby girl did an amazing job. The assistant told me she was perfect as they walked her thru the process. I wasn’t allowed to stay in the room. Once again I love this place and they took excellent care of my daughter’s mouth. update… every time I am asked for a review I will give one. I still love this place. They are getting my daughter’s teeth together! Also they make the visits in a timely manner. I don’t have to wait months for the next one. Can’t wait to finish this process of getting her mouth healthy. I will continue to go here. Next up orthodontics all at the same place.
Negative experience: Was referred to a root canal specialist in Ann arbor but which one I called back right after my appointment to find out never got a response back and have since called a few more times. Still now answer nor response from no one.

Negative experience: The services they provide are affordable for the community they are located in, and they do a good job on their work. I rarely post reviews, but I'm in a highly frustrating situation where the dentist told me after my root canal that I may need antibiotics for a tooth infection. He said to call them if I needed them and he'd write me a script and send it off to the pharmacy. So I've been calling them for 4 days, leaving voice messages, etc. I have received no phone call back, the only person I've talked to is an outsourced secretary (which also rubs me the wrong way - hire more locals instead of outsourcing). The outsourced secretary has tried to push me into another appointment (I'm assuming so they get another office visit fee), and when I told him the dentist said to just call, he laughed and said that's not how it works and said "he'd pass the message along", then hung up. Today I just called and I simply asked to speak to a front desk secretary, he didn't say anything, transferred me to a weird line (weird as in the ringtone was bizarre), then hung up on me again. I'm now going to have to waste time to travel back out to the office to speak to the front desk secretary myself. Fix your systems, Painless Dentistry. I know I won't be going back until I can speak to a live, in office agent when I call.
Negative experience: Ive contacted Painless Dentistry approximately 10-20 times since May/June to discuss a bill and haven't had anything resolved. The phone system is automated so Ive had to leave multiple voice messages. When the phone is rarely answered it's by a receptionist that works remotely out of the office location. Ive had a bill go from $287 to $17 to $211 despite me providing my insurance information multiple times. In addition to billing issues I was told that the crown they placed on my tooth 1 year ago by them was done incorrectly and needed to be redone. Im so disappointed and frustrated

Fantastic experience: A week ago, I walked into this dentist’s office feeling extremely nervous since it had been a long time since my last cleaning. I let Dolce and Kimberly know how bad my anxiety and panic attacks can get, and they were both extremely nice and understanding about it. Kimberly was so encouraging and told me I did an amazing job during the cleaning, which really helped ease my nerves. I can’t forget Kristi - she’s just as nice and supportive. I’m actually looking forward to coming back.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Brad was amazing! I'm so glad I found this place! I'm glad this will be my new regular dentist place! They got me in so fast and I've already had 3 appointments in 1 week! Initial, exam and cleaning! They are very respectful and everyone seems so nice so far! Looking forward to continuing this journey with my new dentists!

Negative experience: They never answer their phone It doesn't even ring It goes right to voicemail says leave a message no messages are ever returned. If you have a question or concern I have to drive there.. I needed a tooth pulled. It was very painful and needed to come out. They pulled the wrong tooth. I clearly pointed to the tooth that confirmed it and then pulled a tooth in the back
