Negative experience: Went in for xrays and cleaning. Cleaning was painful and left nerve damage to one of my front teeth. Never going back. I am going to Carlsbad Dental now and am very pleased. They can do a painless cleaning.

Negative experience: Friend waiting on upper and lower partial, been 7 months, last appointment was in December, teeth were being sent out to be cured, as of late December he's at a new job new insurance, he already paid 1400$ on his part and thought it was old insurance company, so now as he talked to old insurance company today they said we would be happy to pay if they would send us a bill,this dental office is this worst place on the planet, the front office has no idea what there doing,it doesn't take 3 weeks for you to call me back about my insurance, oh yeah that's right you never called them until I walked in bitching and then you were able to pick the phone up and call ,very unprofessional staff,now you call my friend 2 days ago 7 months later again and ask what we're gonna do about this situation, 7 months later are you kidding me!!! What is left to do put them in his mouth and say goodbye! I wouldn't send my worst enemy there!!!! Unbelievable!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for abstractions so I can get dentures made I was very nervous but everyone was very kind and comforting the Doctor made it as pain free as possible and made me feel very comfortable! Positive experience: This was my first time at this dentist office with my 2 year old son the front office is a great waiting area very spacious & clean but once you get to the exam rooms, they really need an update. ALOT of the utensils the dentist & the hygienist used were very old, past paint was chiping off where they had instruments that they use to use the actual metal was peeking though. It seemed only 2 of the 5 were hooked up and working. It looked like they havent been used in a long time, the chairs that patients are to sit and lay back on were cracked, old. Other than the place needing to be updated our visit was good. The dentist came into the room, he didn't greet us until after he read the patient board he then turned around and acknowledged us and said hello. My son didn't make it easy for the dentist to check his teeth they were only able to give him a little fluoride. The dentist didnt waste his time and just left the room once my son started to calm down. The hygienist was very kind and understanding I didn't get her name but she explained everything that he received & explained how my son would need a follow up & so on. If this is the only place your able to make an appointment at im sure they will help they have very friendly, knowledgeable staff but be weary of the cleanliness here.

I always go to Familia Dental because I know Dr sing does very good work and has always given me good dental care and advice and he is very caring. He makes sure I’m doing alright during any procedure and makes me feel comfortable. He goes beyond to explain any dental work before procedure and after. I highly recommend

I was there for 45m max, showing they have a great process for productivity and care. 10/10 would recommend & will return.

Negative experience: The first few times I went to Dr Sihng it was awesome. This last 2 times they semi away to wait ANOTHER month to fix my teeth that were already falling apart. And o wouldn't care but it is the front ones... so now I have worse problems then I did when I went it in. If there was someone else that my insurance I would surely change...

Fantastic experience: I went in with a simple dental problem. I explained the problem. The dentist listened to me. He examined the area, and he concurred with my analysis. He treated the problem. I am happy for that because I am no longer in excruciating pain. They accepted medicaid too, so that was cool. It was a 10/10 experience.

Fantastic experience: I was in pain from my tooth called in the morning around 8:30am lucky for me they saw me the same day at 11am. Doctor was able to patch my tooth and the pain stopped. Doctor then told me to ask for another appointment to get a complete dental check up and see how to fix other teeth before they become a problem. I loved the customer service and the doctor was amazing. Thank You Familia Dental.

Fantastic experience: In and out quickly, it was my first dental appointment in many years. They did a good job with explaining things to me and making me feel comfortable. Update: I had an extraction today and they were very patient and gentle with me even though I was fighting high anxiety. By far the best dental place in town. Thank you for making what I expected to be a traumatic experience a gentle one for me

Everything is paid! Very unorganized and can't seem to get a straight answer about things thru the procedure!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY

Negative experience: Worst dentist I've ever been to. Dr Singh hardly speaks coherent English, was just trying to sell me stuff the entire time, and completely botched my filling, fusing two teeth together. He tried to sell me things at least ten times, and only asked if I was in pain once. Don't go to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Singh is AMAZING!!! I first need to add I have extremely high anxiety when it comes to Dentist. Dr Singh has a very calming chair side manner. He never seemed irritated by all of my questions and he made me feel as if I was his only patient in the office. I unfortunately had to have a tooth pulled. He could see how uncomfortable I was when leaving because I’m not an easy patient haha…he took is own personal time to call me that night and ck on me!!! That meant the world to me, not to mention a couple of days later I came in late as a walk in and again he took time to ease my mind. I 100% recommend this office and Dr Singh!!!!

Negative experience: If I could give this place a 0 star I would they pulled my friends daughter tooth a couple months ago and they took her to other dentist to find out the dr left tooth fragments behind very unprofessional

Negative experience: Well I was forced to give them another shot because it was the only in network dentist in Carlsbad and it was just as disappointing as the last time. Went in with an extremely sore tooth and left with two prescriptions for medications I already had taken for the pain and a paper with recommendations for other offices to try to get it taken care of. Another huge waste of my time. Worthless

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I am like millions of people who really just don’t enjoy going to the dentist so whenever I do have to go I like to stay with my primary dental provider. I was not able to do that this time because I live on the other side of the US and I work in Carlsbad, I was an emergency walk in with an abscess molar. I arrived as soon as they opened and was greeted with open arms! I was skeptical at first because the building is definitely nothing to brag about but the professional attitudes from everyone I encountered during my visit made up for it! One the dental assistant looked at my X-Rays and my mouth she determined that it was not a molar and it was in fact a wisdom tooth that had come in and gotten infected. That news in itself made my anxiety go up even more than it already was because most times whenever you have a wisdom tooth pulled they put you completely under because of the pain. I asked the Dr if we would be able to do it without going under and he said if I was up for it we could do it right then! Fortunately he calmed my nerves and made me feel like I was making the right decision, he was not pushy at all and he respected the fact that I have a family dentist and I just needed some relief being so far from home! Overall the procedure went amazing and I will 110% be going back if another toothache comes out of nowhere while I’m here for work! I read all of the reviews before going and was hesitant at first but this was hands down one of my best experiences a dentist has ever given me. Also they do offer the laughing gas as well so that was a major plus!

Negative experience: Everything was good when I first got their staff was nice! The only bad thing was when I got my teeth cleaned he was rough and ended up breaking one of my front bottom teeth. But the dr was very nice a fixed my tooth at no charge

Fantastic experience: Dr.Singh is an amazing Dr he has extracted multiple teeth of mine with no pain and the after care is good I highly recommend him and his staff for any dental work done

Negative experience: Gentle tooth extraction? No. Pain meds after extraction? No. Advised dentist I was extremely nervous. He couldn't understand why. I blame myself for not doing more research before having this procedure. But if you have a choice, go somewhere else. Or make sure they give you written prescriptions before you leave to make sure you have something for pain. Full upper teeth extractions for dentures and I'm basically pushed out the door with blood dripping from my mouth through the gauze. Not a happy customer and I still have to go back for the dentures. Which they didn't tell me was a 4 step process with anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks between each step until after the extractions were done. They have no info beforehand except the date and time to be there and that insurance had approved it.

Fantastic experience: It’s a small clinic from what I’m used to, but very professional informative and the dentist and staff were amazing. Unfortunately, they had an extracted tooth, is no big deal, it was my fault for not going to the dentist for over 20 years and decided to just work. I recommended this dentistry to anybody and The local region.

Negative experience: While we were able to get fitted in for today, unfortunately for yet another a few more weeks after almost 11 months. I still have to wait for a procedure to get a finalized for my child. I’m just disappointed that I wasn’t able to get my child seen today to get the procedure that was requested. I am hopeful for next week that we will be able to actually finalize my son’s toothache journey that is now turned into a root canal that has to be completed.
