Fantastic experience: My family has been going to True North Dental for over 20 years. All the staff are friendly and kind. Best Dentist and hygienist in the area.

Negative experience: Had an appointment scheduled and waited months for it. Got a message that it was cancelled. They stopped taking new patients due to the loss of one of their dentists. Instead of rescheduling me to a later date, they gave me no option; they simply said they are not interested in taking me on.

Positive experience: The tooth repair went well and quickly. It has been almost a week now, and the repair has held but I feel the temp tooth was “sloppy” for install. The edges were not cleane and trimmed. I have chips breaking foo frequently. Is seems as thougulh it would have bee simple to remove the excess material the used for my temporary tooth. I expected better from a dentist office that I have been going to go over 25 years.

Fantastic experience: Awesome professionalism! They have it down to a science and are capable of explaining how and why of proceeding. Update! I have had sleep apnea for years. The dental appliance was used for the first time last night. Works FANTASTIC! Dr. Garner has a great sense of humor. Everyone is wonderful to work with. All the equipment is state of the art. You get what you pay for. Probably will save money in the long run. Worth it! This update is from 3 years of scheduled visits and two visits that were unexpected. Those two visits were scheduled quickly. Everyone on staff is Profesional, competent and friendly. Who could ask for anything more? There have been some changes in insurance acceptance. As far as I am concerned, they are being as ethical as possible. I'm sure everyone else is. If you want to have a high end dentist you have to work with them. Before any one jumps to conclusions I suggest calling for details. Going with their membership program is a great idea

Fantastic experience: The Zoom meeting for consultation went very well, with a lot of useful information. Saved me from a lot of travel to answer some questions. The people in the office are all nice and smiling all the time. Ashely at the front desk takes care of all my needs before I see Dr. Gerner and Katelyn. Could not ask for a better atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Truly a great team. I had a dental emergency (broken tooth) and the folks here worked to fit me into an already busy day. I really appreciate the extra effort to handle my situation. Dr. Craig made quick work of the problem tooth with a temporary fix and I will be returning for the permanent fix. Great job team!

Fantastic experience: Had my 6 month cleaning with Renee this week and she is awesome! My teeth were stained from a charcoal mouthwash I had used. She worked very hard to get those stains off and did a wonderful job. I also got the whitening kit that they sell and I highly recommend it-I see a big difference with just two applications. Love this dental office!!

Fantastic experience: The appointment was scheduled for 2:50 PM and arrived at 2: 44 PM and the Dental assistant was standing waiting for me and brought me right in to the exam room and Dr. Heins promptly entered to start the tooth preparation for filling the cavity i had. Within minutes the area was numb and he proceeded with such efficiency to remove the decayed area and then to fill it. His skilled hands took care of the matter and was finished by 3:20 PM. No pain. You feel so comfortable with him. Very relaxed laying there and so glad he performed the procedure without any issues. Very caring Dentist. I recommend him to anyone that needs great dental care..

Recently we had to cancel a cleaning appointment for our son due to a broken leg and couldn’t get him in until January. Christine saw this and worked with me to get him in sooner by offering to work later to see him. I can’t say enough great things about this practice. Christine went out of her way to help us and we appreciate it. Hands down the very best!!

Fantastic experience: My recent visit was the best by far the best.The hygienist I saw (Jen)made sure that she cleaned all of my teeth and explained things about my mouth that no one had ever told me before. The office has always been friendly and professional. They have done extensive work in my mouth and have always done an excellent job. Fantastic experience: Ron Marino: This was my first cleaning with Jen. I found her to be professional, methodical and very easy to work with. She was attentive to my needs to avoid any sensitivities to my teeth and gums. Overall, it was an outstanding appointment. Had another appointment on 3/14 for a filling that decided to go live somewhere else. Dr. Craig did a great job. The whole process was easy, comfortable and I was back to normal in no time. His assistant was very pleasant and laughed at my dumb jokes. Great appt.

The hygienist Katie was also lovely and very kind and walked me through each step of the cleaning and what to expect. Fantastic experience: I called for an issue that I had. They gave me a 9:20 appointment this morning. I went in as soon as I arrived and saw Dr. Gerner. He took care of my issue and it was a very positive experience. Everyone is very friendly.

Throughout the years, I have always had complete faith and trust in their ability to analyze the problem and proceed with the appropriate treatment. And, the treatment was 100% painless. The staff has always been courteous and respectful! I love Dr. Gerner because he is such a good doctor and I am such a bad patient. :-) Kathleen is the BEST!!!!!

Negative experience: Had a outstanding balance that I didn't receive a bill for. They informed my wife when she went for a appointment and she payed it in full. Called to make a appointment and they said none of my family can go to there office ever again.

Fantastic experience: it's been awhile since i've been to the dentist, as I have severe anxiety when it comes to the whole process. with that being said, the entire experience with this dentist office was absolutely stress-free in all aspects. all of the staff were patient, kind, and professional. there's little to no wait time for appointments. the office is responsive with phone calls. they schedule you appointments in a timely manner. i can't say enough good things about this office. i am so appreciative of all that they have done and continue to do to meet my dental needs. definitely satisfied and impressed with each visit and correspondence. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a dental provider and i will continue to recommend them. if you're hesitant on going to the dentist, just choose them!

Just had another excellent experience at TNDG. I am happy to say that my above comments still apply! TNDG continues to provide excellent dental services. During my most recent visit, Ms. Squires performed a very thorough cleaning and a periodontal exam in a very gentle manner. She is also very personable, upbeat, and helpful with providing tips regarding dental hygiene.

He adopts newer techniques whenever he feels they can benefit his patients, and is open to discussing his treatment choices. My kids and I have been patients for years and appreciate the friendly yet professional atmosphere. He has provided us with great advice for the timing of orthodontic treatment for my pre-teen daughter. My son is treated equally well, by Dr. Heinz and all hygienists and staff members. I definitely continue to recommend Dr. Heinz and his team to anyone! 03/2024 Although our family members are all still usually followed by Dr Heinz, Dr Gerner just went out of his way for my son regarding a serious short fall by our orthodontist’s office. I am so grateful for Dr Gerner’s professionalism, work ethics and kindness… despite me reaching out to True North Dental near closing time on a Friday afternoon! Impressive and reassuring. Having a team of caring dentists definitely makes True North Dental a health resource I would highly recommend to anyone who understands that dental emergencies, especially when kids are involved, do not always happen Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm…!

Fantastic experience: True North Dental is such a wonderful office. I have been a patient here since before they merged. Dr. Heins is a very personable, knowledgeable and easy going dentist. I never feel nervous having procedures completed at this office. The entire office staff is amazing and work so hard to make you feel comfortable.

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars I would! I’m incredibly sorry for saying this! I desperately need to see a Dentist as the insurance I have, finding one is slim to none. I’m pretty much forced to pay out of pocket. I called this place due to all the reviews and I want a dentist that is good, I care about my teeth! However, the lady I spoke with on the phone refused me service! Saying I can’t pay out of pocket that you only accept payments through insurance!! Called another dentist explained my issue and even asked if they accept out of pocket pay. The lady I spoke with on the phone at that dentist sounded confused and i explained further. She thought it was incredibly messed up to REFUSE service to someone just because they have to pay out of pocket!!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough and friendly patient care. Dr Hanna and her assistant made what usually isn’t the most pleasant experience (going to the dentist) somewhat enjoyable. Dr. Hanna is very informative, she will tell you how to best care for your teeth. Things I had no idea about. We moved to this practice to follow our favorite hygienist. Very glad we did. Very professionally run operation.

Fantastic experience: I needed alot of dental care and was apprehensive of being judged by a dentist and the staff so I kept putting it off. There was absolutely no judgement shown which was the first plus! The staff was so kind and pleasant and easy to talk with along with a adorable puppy that sat with the receptionist which lessened my case of nervousness which was the second plus. Dr. Gerner is the most amazing dentist EVER!! He was kind, knowledgeable, gave me options, and was easy to talk with. He even had me laughing a couple of times. Anyone who feels the way I did needs to go to this dentist for care. I actually had hope and was excited about the eventual outcome by the time I left the office. Even the Office Manager answered all my questions and was so kind and caring.Thank you to everyone for such a great experience. Very excited about my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Had small problem with my implant, the grommets needed to be replaced, got in right away. Only took a few minutes,did not even charge me for visit. Also need some work on upper denture.Happy to schedule with them. Very professional and just plain nice.
