Mountain View Pediatric Dentistry of Pleasant View

Fantastic experience: My children first came to mountain view pediatric dentistry as infants to get their tongue and lip ties fixed. As they have grown my children have dealt with severe anxiety issues and dentists were of course one of the places this presented itself. MVPD has been amazing. So patient and considerate. My 8 year old now asks me how long before the next dentist appointment because she "loves the dentist", even though the exrays make her nervous. I love the cavity free rewards program and the candy buy backs after Halloween.

Fantastic experience: Wildly impressed with this clinic. Top notch team. Dr. Jake is fantastic with our son. Leah the assistant was an angel, Danyell is thorough and thoughtful, and all the other team members we have worked with have been patient, kind, and professional. Thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: we have been bringing our little one here every six months and it’s still just as wonderful of an experience as that first visit. Every month also has a dress up theme where kids can get a prize too! ___ We took our little one for her first appointment and EVERYONE on the staff was super friendly and welcoming. There was a cute waiting area for kids with a Disney movie playing and checking in was really simple. When we booked the appointment it was easy and we didn’t have to wait long. Most of the information was entered online and didn’t need to be done at the first appointment. When we checked in they gave us a tour of the whole place and went over the different services available. Our little one was having a hard time with letting strangers clean her teeth, but they were really accommodating and patient and still made her feel comfortable. Dr. Edee was so nice and gave us some great tips and resources. We did not get X-rays done this time, but after the exam and fluoride everyone cheered for her and she got a goodie bag and a new Bluey toothbrush. She also got a “cavity free” token and a quarter to claim a prize on the way out. I can’t thank them enough for making a new and difficult experience fun, and will definitely be recommending them!

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe how grateful I am for this dentistry practice! My son is autistic and part of his stim is biting hard plastic surfaces which lead to broken teeth and cavities. For years we struggled to find a good dentist that would help us. Mountain View Pediatric Dentistry is a godsend! They listened to our concerns and even helped with preventative treatment so that we wouldn't return with worsened conditions. Not only that, when we had a concern about a possible tooth infection, THIS ENTIRE GROUP of dentists was on it!!!! They got my son in ASAP for an evaluation AND EVEN got him treatment that same day! We have a happy boy again! I am forever grateful to Dr Nick, Dr Kimball and Dr Edee ❤️ Thank you for caring about us and not treating us differently.

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric dentistry in town.Great environment.Great staff and for little kids or younger kids that need oral surgery, they can do it here in Great Falls. This mountain pediatric dentistry, which is great as the other pediatric dentists in town. Has to refer you out to Helena. For any oral surgery, so it is great that they can now. Do pediatric surgery here in Great Falls Montana?

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick and dental hygienist Izzy made such an awesome appointment for my 3 year daughter. They are kind, patiently cheerful, and helpful with answering questions. Also made me feel very welcomed and genuinely appreciated that we are part of the team. Office has a bright and comfortable environment. I definitely recommend Mountain View!! I’m a mother of four and having a great provider that works well and provides excellent services is important for us.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. They are so good with kids. They are patient, they are fun, they know the exact words to say right when the kids need to hear it. My kids were a little apprehensive at their appointment today and the staff handled it like champs. Dr. Jake is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: We took my 3 year old and 16 months old to see Dr.edee and she was just the best! So sweet and kind and patient with my kiddos! My 3 year old was very nervous but she was able to help calm him! My 3 year old even gave the dental assistant a high five which he rarely gives out! She was very gentle with my 16 months old and patient. Because they were both cavity free they got special tokens they can use to get stuff at select businesses that partner with the dental office. They then gave my 3 year old 50 cents and had him get toys from their little machines. Because my youngest was too little for those tiny toys they gave him a rubber ducky! So cute! The staff are all kind and helpful! Wonderful chill environment and I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The best pediatric dentistry! Always nice and helpful, and all the doctors and assistants are amazing!

Negative experience: Don’t be fooled by the bells and whistles. On the surface this looks like an amazing office. Friendly atmosphere. Water bottle filled with goodies; candy, tooth brush, little toys, etc. Token for not having cavities that you can cash in local places like swig. Buuuut they don’t have dental hygienists, they use dental assistants and they briefly and barely touched each of my kids teeth and were fine in 5 minutes if that, they also use flossers not regular floss, they can’t descale teeth, the dentist does it. That also went extremely quick not thorough or efficient. And he made my son hold all the saliva mix of plaque, blood and old food in his mouth and when he noticed it pooling he laughed and asked him if he wanted to spit it out while commenting that most kids just swallow it. I asked him if he discourages that and he said that it doesn’t make a difference to him. Laughing and joking around. That’s very unhealthy, you should not swallow that. I get that kids might swallow a little but to act like you’re counting on it is extremely unprofessional, not to mention rude. Not only that but he didn’t wear a mask and talked and breathed straight into my 3 kids mouths. I did bring up all my concerns. And he was super reflective, said he doesn’t usually wear a mask but next time if I want he will. Didn’t take any of my concerns seriously. Just blew them off. So unprofessional. This office cuts corners like crazy! And if you don’t know what a normal cleaning should be, this place will fool you! You will do a better job just brushing and flossing your kids’ teeth yourself than they will. Ruuuuuunnnnn!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this dentistry. My little one would have to be sedated every time she had work done even a simple cleaning I couldn't get done. That was until we changed dentistry to this one and Dr. Kimball has made the difference in her loving to go now. Even when having to have a tooth taken out there is no fear in her. Thank you for making a difference and putting this mom's mind at ease

Fantastic experience: We love coming to MVPD! My daughter has been going there since she was 1 and now she is 4.5 and she literally begs to go to the dentist! Everyone is so sweet and helpful and does such a great job at keeping her comfortable. We have loved all of the staff and just see whoever is available. 10/10 recommend!

I’ve brought my kiddos here for years with a year or two break going elsewhere and obviously we returned! What I love most is that they do not require unnecessary treatments and are very upfront and honest in every way! We love Dr Kimball, Dr Jake & Dr Cam! Today we had an amazing assistant names Stephanie! She was very accommodating AND even went above and beyond to make sure we got out of there in a timely manner with my sons cleaning to make it to our next appointment! We could not ask for a better dental experience!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been bringing our kids here for a couple years now and it’s always been a good experience! I’ve never had to wait too long, the dentists and hygienists are really friendly, and my kids are always excited about the prizes. My son used to really freak out as a toddler and they were always chill and helpful. I would recommend for anyone with young kids!

Fantastic experience: I've never had a dentist staff actually make sure before we got started what would be billed to insurance and what would and not be covered. No surprise bills and I'm here for it! Dr. Edee was professional, took the time to answer my questions and was so nice to my kids. Our hygienist Missy was awesome and made sure I knew every detail of what was going on and was great with my kids.

You will be so impressed. I love Missy as well! She was so cute with my little girl! The whole team is just fantastic!

We had work done by Dr Jake today and his two assistants Teri and Kinlie. They were all so welcoming, described everything that was going to happen, and made my kids feel calm and ready to get their work done with out any anxiety. We love it here!

Fantastic experience: We Love this Dentist office for our 3 Year old! We have been going for a year now and everyone there is great with the kids. Dr Kimball is so fun and he makes my little feel comfortable and I love that they don’t pressure they take the exam and cleaning as far as my daughter will let them. This is our 3rd check up and she is more confident and less scared every time. We have had our Daughter coming here since she was 2 1/2 . Teri and the dental assistant staff are so wonderful they have all been patient with her. Dr Kimball rocks!
