Negative experience: It started off great and quickly turned horrible. I took off work twice to go in for an appointment only to find out that my partial wasn't ready in my crown wasn't ready twice I tell you and on one occasion I got there 20 minutes early and 2 hours and 5 minutes later I was seeing there was people coming in that had appointments after mine that were being seen before me. Did I say they were Hispanic people? I'm not racist at all, but it seems that they take care of the Hispanics before anyone else and after I tell them to counsel my order and give me a refund. They refunded $514 to the company I took out the loan with and canceled the partial with the insurance. Had the nerve to turn around and send me a bill for $101. It was on a do not reply email and demanding it immediately. I've already spoken with an attorney. Let them put it on my credit. They're not getting anything. I may sue them for the stress and anguish and loss of wages. That is the worst experience I've ever had with the dental do not go there unless you are Hispanic. Oh and I almost forgot they blamed it on the company that does the partials that they lost my order really twice and then my crown wasn't ready again. I took off work. Lost half a day's work twice to come there to have nothing done but fake tears and I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Yeah don't go there.i will never go to another Jefferson dental!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had the first appointment at opening time. Staff was already at their stations and I was checked in and seated immediately. The dentist I saw was very personable and explained everything in good detail as well as letting me know how to get back to him if I got through only to the call center. Very professional.

Negative experience: Ever since I started going there they have been doing everything wrong. My son's rubber bands were placed badly for his braces. They were sweeping off the dust when we were still sitting, leaving dust particles flying everywhere. And they cancel my appointments often too.

Negative experience: Mixed. The process was simple and the people were decent, my Dad recommended here. No long waits and appointments come quick. But here’s my glitch…they wait until you are in the chair about to get serviced and they send a girl in to tell you what it’s going to cost and take payment from you right there…from the chair. I had one tooth extracted and the quoted $780 to extract…no insurance, straight debit card pay in full. $780. One tooth. I felt trapped. My tooth is out, but I’m also out $780…for one tooth. I’m highly suspect to use them again.

Negative experience: Don't go here they took almost 3 hours just to look at my teeth when they were supposed to also do cleaning. Then they tried to charge me almost $500 outside of my insurance. I even called my insurance and they told me not to come back here.

Fantastic experience: The staff made the experience as smooth as it could be. I was literally shaking out of fear and anxiety for this tooth extra. And as a 30 year old dude who hasn't been to the dentist in 10+ years, has a broken molar with some terrible pain and a massive fear of the surgery/dentistry, this place made my experience better than I thought. I actually will come back to this location because I'm confident in their skills, compassion, and all around chillness. Seriously, I appreciate them making every effort to reduce my pain and anxiety of the situation, and they discussed all the different routes and payment solutions available to me. Sure healthcare is expensive and we deserve to have universal healthcare, but at least these people seem to have a heart.

Fantastic experience: Before I start Dr Veerji and Esther are the foundation to your dental clinic. Called on Monday to see if they can see me right away because I was hurting and they fit me in their tight schedule that same day. Where other places (3) I called couldn’t see me till Friday. Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my visit. They tried to charge me $60 to fix a fill-in that wasn’t done correctly by them the first time. I only came in because they assured me over the phone that the procedure would be fully covered by my insurance. When I arrived, I was told it was only partially covered and that I’d have to pay out of pocket. It makes no sense to pay them to correct their own mistake. I’d rather go to a different branch that gets it right the first time. The audacity!

Negative experience: Felt uncomfortable with the dentist in training. Seemed like we needed another xray done after the percussion test. I also feel that the doctor in training should discuss with the main doctor the plan before speaking to the patient. Loved the hygienist and dental assistant!

Negative experience: PLEASE PLEASE take the time to call your insurance and find out your coverage before you come here!! It might take you a couple of minutes but its going to save you LOTS of money. They almost scammed me with a 4K bill and thank God I did my research right away and got my bill down to 1K after they told me my insurance didn't cover anything, they even showed me a paper that said "no coverage" all of sudden they did more digging and I had 2K covered. The audacity From day 1 horrible service and everything up to my braces has gone wrong!. You won't get calls back and if you get lucky and get someone on the phone they don't know the answers to your questions!!!.. I highly recommend Dr Fernando Vignolo at Corinth Orthodontist I've been taking my daughter there for 2 years and haven't had any issues. They only reason I came to Jefferson was because it was closer to my job.

Fantastic experience: I'm grateful to Dr. Narang as always for his thorough evaluation and professional input on a complication of a root canal performed by another dentist. My dental implant that he did several years ago is still in great condition and so, I've kept him as a resource for an honest 2nd opinion. Definitely recommend him to anyone needing dental implants.

Negative experience: Terrible, just terrible. Insurance company said they did not contact them prior to rendering services to gain approval so I am left to pay full price. Tried to speak to their customer service about this and they said there is nothing they can do at this point. Just be smarter than the rest of us and go somewhere else. Find a place that will do things correctly or at least make it right when they mess up. They replied with how concerned they were and for me to call a number only for someone to to say they had no clue why I was calling and who I was reaching out to and that they would just take a general complaint. Negative experience: I had an awful experience at Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics - Carrollton and would never recommend this place to anyone. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive. They made no effort to make me feel welcome or comfortable. During my visit, the dentist claimed I needed several expensive procedures, including a deep cleaning and multiple fillings — even though I had recently been to another dentist who told me my teeth were in good shape. It was obvious they were trying to upsell me on unnecessary treatments just to make more money. When I asked for a copy of my X-rays to get a second opinion, they were extremely uncooperative and acted like I didn’t have a right to them. They gave me the runaround and made it unnecessarily difficult, which is completely unprofessional. This place feels like a money grab, not a genuine dental clinic that cares about patients. If you’re looking for honest treatment and respectful service, I highly suggest you go somewhere else.

Negative experience: My appointment was made weeks advance. The day of my appointment I received a text showing me 45 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. I sat in the dentist chair for 2 hours 15 minutes before I had the scheduled cleaning…Will not go back and am sharing with future patients.

Negative experience: Had root canal done a while ago and I kept coming back telling them that my tooth felt funny and had a tingling feeling. They would check and say everything is fine. Well another dentist has now told me that the root canal wasn't successful and I need to see a specialist for a retreatment. This is a costly process. I guess I'm saying pick wisely where to have these type of procedures done.

May 5 was my orthodontia (first part) but it was horrible, I was crying because I was needed more anesthesia and I don't know if "doctor" didn't hear me I said I'm on pain but ok, since that day he put his hands on me I'm on bad neck pain till today and today May 29 (second part) crown, crown takes more than 2 weeks.but I had to wait at least 1 hour to he started to doing whatever he done.. I'm still feeling a bump on the crown (supposed he was fixing it)..if I don't feel better of the neck pain or that p.o.s crown no go correctly, I'm sorry but I going to look for someone who can fix the doctor because is too much pain and too much money and too much dirtyness over there (everywhere dirty in the clinic)(and Gabriela is young and that's why she knows everything) I'm sorry doctor but I'm feels like in nightmare...and you are part of (PD. Somebody should clean more often, like 2 times at year at least... everywhere is dusty and dirty)

Our team strives to ensure all patients are adequately anesthetized, and we regret if there was any miscommunication about your needs.
In terms of cleanliness, we maintain rigorous sanitation protocols. The chairs and office are cleaned thoroughly before and after each patient. The "water" you noticed was from the CaviCide spray we use to disinfect all surfaces, not a leak. Given the storm the day before your visit, we had the building inspected twice to ensure there were no issues.
We understand that you were unhappy with the wait time. Our lab is located in Florida, and as we explained on May 9th, it typically takes 2-3 weeks for crowns to be fabricated and shipped. We provided a temporary crown to protect your tooth in the interim.On May 29th Our doctor made several adjustments to ensure a proper fit and asked if everything felt alright before you left, to which you confirmed it did.
We regret any inconvenience caused by the bump on the crown and your neck pain. Our team has offered additional appointments to make further adjustments and evaluate your discomfort, but these offers have been declined.

Negative experience: Do not go here, they commit insurance fraud They went behind my back to charge my insurance for something I paid out of pocket, something they told me multiple times couldn’t be covered with my insurance, I called to confirm when I got the claim from my insurance and the woman at the office is asking me “what am I trying to accomplish?” They know what they are doing in that office. They have refused to answer my calls, reply my emails or give me any updates. If it has to get legal it will, because this is absolutely crazy and the Ortho manager has been helpful in no way, said she would submit a request, gave me an email but she can’t respond. I called everyday this week for an update and they’ll say she’s busy and will call me back, no call back, no sort of customer service. This issue has been going on since January and it’s been 3 months and not only did they file a claim behind my back they also over charged my insurance. Rude No customer service nothing to offer Everyday I regret every working with this dental office, please save yourself the trouble, I also ended my ortho treatment early so I would not have to keep dealing with their issues but they go ahead and do this. I will continue to leave my reviews until I get my money back. DO BETTER OR HIRE BETTER PEOPLE.

Fantastic experience: I use to goto the berry st. Office. And for a few years I was treated wonderful. Fernando was manager at the time. Him and the regional manager went above and beyond. To fix things for me like billing I didn't owe. Making sure all my approvals for dentist went through. Unfortunately the new manager at the berry st. Office made things very difficult and I kept waiting for like 3 months for approval of crowns. And it was denied like 3 times. Anytime I would call and talk to manager at the berry st. Office she was very rude to me over the phone. Like somehow it was my fault and didn't care. Needless to say I stumbled into Jefferson dental at the beach street location. And to my surprise Fernando was actually working there. I was so happy to see him. He told me he can get me in with no hassles. He called in just one day and talked to my insurance company and Got me approved for my crowns. He even got a reference number that same day. I miss the dentist and workers at the berry office very much. But won't go there anymore with the rude manager there. Special thanks to Fernando at the beach street office and his regional manager for taking care of me. And there prompt service, and for being so kind and understanding. Fernando deserves a raise for putting his customers first.

Fantastic experience: Wish I would've brought my kids sooner... I have a 15yr old and a 7yr old, and the staff here at Jefferson Dental in Carrollton TX has made their experience a great one. Dr. Veerji, De'shaun, Luis, Clarissa and Ms. Keona are the most WONDERFUL team I've had the pleasure of meeting and having my children be under their care was amazing. They were all so informative, they took their time to explain things, I usually ask a lot of questions and more than once lol the team made things very easy to understand. They made my children and I feel very comfortable.... we've been to 3 different dental clinics and it's safe to say, we're not going anywhere else after today.

Negative experience: Too much back and forth with appointments. The communication is not fluid with everyone and no one is one the same page. I confirmed the same appointment three times and somehow it still got canceled upon showing up. They insisted they had to “work us in” since there was no confirmation. Come to find out they were calling the wrong number this whole time. I’m not sure how when I’ve used the same number multiple times and using their texting functionality.

Negative experience: Have been told many times from two different locations that I would get a call back by the front desk administrator. They sound so promising but yet never call you back. By this time you have to start over on your inquiry and get told that they will call you back and NEVER do. There is no follow up guidelines apparently. I am leaving a review in hopes that it will get seen and a change to the follow up process will be implemented. This has happened more than 5 times, literally and that is absolutely ridiculous. I understand forgetting but more than 5 times, administration is just lying at this point. Fix it!

Negative experience: Before I write this lengthy post I want to preface that I've been coming to Jefferson Dental since 2021. I started at the Carrollton office and I should've run when my insurance covered 0% of the braces and I was asked to get a Care Credit card to cover my $4,000+ braces. Fast Forward a year, I moved to Fort Worth and attended the Gran Plaza location & they told me that the Carrollton office had not responded to their requests for my dental records despite several assistants from the GP location consistently reaching out to the Carrollton office. I then had to do my examinations and x-rays again in GP as if I were a new patient because they were not being sent over. Throughout this process, I'm never given an update on how much longer I will have the braces on until I ask. Mind you at this point I've had my braces on for 2 years. I get told I need an implant consultation but my teeth are straight so that is the last step I need. A few things I wanted to add- I went in to do a dental cleaning and paid a certain amount at the end of my visit, but then I received a letter in the mail saying I owed $575 but with no itemized list. So I don't even know what they're asking me to pay. Also, I visited a location in North Richland Hills once for a consultation, and the male orthodontist there was extremely rude and disrespectful to his dental assistants. I did not want to work with him after seeing the way he talked to these ladies. He was bragging about himself when giving me a consultation and also, he tried to make me pay for a whole other braces treatment due to his discernment. 4,000 additional dollars to the initial 4,000 I already put on Care Credit. +2-3 more years of braces. They asked me to take out another Care Credit. My time was wasted and I left. Back to my intended story, I moved back to the Carrollton area so I thought, "I can go to my old dentist's office and finish the rest of the braces process there as well as the implant consultation." Fast forward to today, I go into the Carrollton office. I arrive at 4:25 for my 4:30 appointment. I told them my situation and they asked me to take a seat. As I'm scrolling on my phone I am attentively waiting for my name to be called with no luck. I notice that everyone who goes in after me has gone to see the doctor before me. Before I realize it, I am alone in the waiting room with one other person. I move to a seat where I am more visible to the women at the front desk. At this time, they were dealing with a woman who was upset they told her she missed her 15-minute grade period. The woman claimed she came in on time, but the front desk was helping someone else so by the time she was assisted the grace period was over. It was not the woman's fault. Promptly after they help her, I get told, "We just want to confirm what you're in for." I immediately went to the front desk and asked them if they had forgotten about me. They tell me yes. I told them that I had been waiting for AN HOUR. I live an hour away -with traffic- due to it now being 5:30. What I failed to mention is that I took TIME OFF WORK to get there for them to forget about me. They tell me the excuse "We're new but we'll get you in quickly." At this point I'm visibly upset; this is a time I cannot get back. Also, despite them being new - if that is true- I wrote my name down on the sheet that they follow and spoke to both of the women present. I take a seat and I'm so mad I cannot think of waiting any longer nor being with my mouth open for this consultation when I'm extremely upset. I got up went to the front told them to cancel my appointment and walked out. I have given this dentist's office so many chances that I am officially done with them. I do not even care for the consultation anymore I want these braces off immediately. When I get my braces removed I am no longer going to have them as a dentist/orthadontist and look elsewhere. I suggest you look elsewhere also.

Negative experience: Been coming to this location consistently for about 2 years now. Only because I've invested 5K in Orthodontia, which is about complete (Thank God). They have not gotten any better. General dentistry isn't any better also. They are slow as Christmas, always complaining amongst themselves about their personal lives and never fail to leave you sitting alone for 30 minute increments without explanation. Even with no other patients to service. THE TURNOVER RATE IS INSANE. We never see the same provider twice and don't get me started on the techs. They cut my daughter's gums and had my child bleeding and in pain for hours. I think they may be taking interns for free work. I would only recommend this place to my enemy. Go somewhere else. Zero stars.

Fantastic experience: This office is so great. My First appointment Had taken a very long time and I was very frustrated. However once I expressed my feelings to the front office, they were so diligent in helping me. I was also very nervous because I do not have insurance and I knew my extremely painful tooth needed to come out and it was going to be very expensive. However, the women at the front and also the financial woman Helped me feel way more safe and comfortable. They led me through the payment plan process and they were so nice and accommodating. I even had to leave to put money on my debit Card because I could not pay in cash , But the woman at the front Reassured me over and over that I could get my stuff together and come back in to get it done. I never once felt uncomfortable because they were so understanding. If I had to refer anyone to an office, it would be Jefferson dental in Carrollton! They have an amazing front office staff!!!

Negative experience: beware. the braces doctor here is not professional. I did braces here in 2021 and now is time to take it off but my teeth are still not perfect.I asked them to fix it but they said they can not and I went to another place to do braces to continue fixing my teeth. and during the time I had braces here. they changed 3 braces doctors for me and I really don't like that. I will never come back here again.

Negative experience: My daughter got braces from this location August 2022, I will advise anyone to NEVER get their brace done here. The greatest mistake I ever made was believing all the lies they told. We told them she will be going to college out of town and they told us she can transfer her services to wherever she’s going to school. When it came for them to come do that they said there’s no Jefferson in Lubbock, so I had to be paying transportation cost for my daughter to come for her appointments 4-6wks. When we started this process, the ortho told us she might require a tooth extraction but when we asked if there was any other alternative, she said she will try her best and if we work with her(making sure she does not miss her appointments) we will get the desired results. Anytime we came for appointments I kept telling the ortho that I’m not seeing any progress but she will say she’s doing great. She was supposed to wear the braces for 2 yrs so getting to 18months I told her I’m not still seeing changes and it’s almost the end of the contract but she assured us that if at the end of the 2yrs it’s not fixed that she will still be treated without any further payments.(luckily my daughter has everything on recording) 3months later we came for an appointment but found out they have a new ortho. They never even sent a notice that they were changing ortho. I don’t no if the new ortho did not go through my daughter’s file cos she just checked her n said all her gap tooth are closed and she’s doing ok. I then told her my daughter never had a gap tooth but we came here cos she has overbite on her front tooth. I then asked her what’s going to happen and she said she will do her best. I was not with my daughter on her last appointment so she told me the new ortho wants to discuss with me on the way forward. We got there on Thursday and they said she has to do the extraction and we need to sign another 2yrs and pay $5000 again. I was really upset cos I have spent a lot on this procedure and taking time of work to drive 35mins for her appointments and paying flight and bus tickets from Lubbock to Dallas. When I demanded for her records, they couldn’t find most of the stuff and the office manager was so rude cos I refused to sign a paper she wanted me to sign. She then did (a bye Felicia) at me and had the audacity to call the police and told lies that I was harassing her staff. I knew she was lying cos she didn’t no that all the while my daughter has been recording so I told them I will wait for the police and show them the recording. When they saw I was not going to leave, they brought her records to give to me but I told them I will wait on the police cos she made a false allegation against me and I was going to show them the recording to show she was lying. The police finally came after 30mins and I told my own side of the story and they gave me the paper they were withholding. The office manager then said she wanted us to delete all the recordings but the police told them they can’t make me delete them. The ortho manager said they will do a refund but she’s denying saying that but I have all the evidence in my recording. She said she was going to call back the next day and all she said was that my daughter can come and take of her braces and they will put a retainer on her. I then asked how can she wear a retainer when the reason we came has not been fixed. If you look at the initial scan the did and the only other scan they did you will see that I paid $5000 for them to just be giving her rubber bands to wear and causing injuries to her gum. Since you guys said I can’t come to your office, you will hear from my lawyer

Negative experience: I have been dealing with them since they 2020. I set an appointment and come to be told they need to send out my scans to the lab for my partial’s and this happened so may times I lost count.If you call their office you get the call center and they say they will send them a message and you never get a callback. It took me almost two years to get my partial and some teeth that were bad in my mouth removed. They kept saying the scan wasn’t done and it had been several times. Then it was oh the labs were lost. I had paid them years ago and they kept giving me the run around and I’m seriously considering legal action against them. Because everytime I go there they seem clueless as to what they need to do. Then they send me to the Irving location to the dentist I previously seen at their location. Time and gas to there and at 3ish in the afternoon. The dentist at that location was very busy so I had a long wait time. This place is very unorganized and doesn’t keep good records of previous information. I’m so over this place. And they need to pay me for emotional distress, gas, time and the money I have paid them for years.

Positive experience: A little disappointed with general dentistry here tbh. I had 2 extractions and fillings done yesterday. When the dentist removed one of my teeth, the one next to it kind of got loose or almost broke off so she had to stitch it back. She said I had fragile teeth, which I guess? However she prescribed me ibuprofen for the pain and I was confused because I had an extraction before somewhere else and they gave me different pain meds that helped. I called the office to let them know the ibuprofen doesn’t help and they said they can’t give me anything else and to just take 8 Tylenol and rotate with ibuprofen. Like huh??? Pretty sure that’s not safe to do. Another disappointment is that you can only call the office during certain times or you’ll have to speak to their support center or send them a text to reach out to the office. I honestly don’t think I’ll be coming here for general dentistry anymore. Sad because I come to this location pretty often. I’ll still go for my ortho since they’re pretty good but other than that, I’m disappointed on how this is being handled. My rate may change depending if pain persist and if stitched tooth doesn’t getting better.

Negative experience: Beware of Jefferson dental orthodontist office in Carrollton!! The staff is unprofessional, and billing is not organized for months i been getting calls from billing department regarding payments, but the payments are taken automatically from my bank!! At the time of the appointment i would even show them proof that the payments were taken out of my bank. The ortho manger didn't even understood what she was telling me so i told her just to figure it out and reach out to me through email however the email doesn't make sense, so I emailed back I'm yet to get a response from her. Positive experience: I think that the answering of phone and appointment setting needs work. They didn't call me when my dentures was done. I had to. And you have two locations and knowing which one and appointment getting mixed up is bad. If a person don't tell which location it can get lost .

Negative experience: This place is terrible, no customer service, you can never reach them at the office, it goes to a call center, meanwhile if they want to confirm your appointment they call and text you all week but can't even answer the phones once ( i understand policy but if half your clientele is complaining fix it) They cancel and move your appointment with no regard, I called in and it directed me to the call center to book my appointment, the call center rep booked me for a hygienist instead of ortho, they just blamed me and did not acknowledge the mistake on their part. Less than a week before my appointment they canceled it saying they got a new orthodontist and are only open several days, which was fine but now I’m telling them to just remove my braces so I can stop doing business with them and they tell me I can’t, while my dentist I started said I can as long as I finish my payment plan as agreed ( the whole situation is just annoying cause they don’t pick up phones and I can’t be driving 40 minutes just for a question) This whole establishment needs to be shut down, this is not the first location with terrible service.

Positive experience: I’ve always had a great experience here. I started coming here for braces, and that was a super easy experience. I came for my consult and started my braces hours the same day. The hygienist here is amazing!

Negative experience: Run from this place I regret getting my daughter here, you never get the same doctors, the office stuff so incompetent omg nothing gets scheduled right then it's a blame game between the call center and them but you as a patient will pay for it. I love my daughter's orthodontist dentist side you will see multiple of them office stuff always arguing with patients and never can get a manager here to talk to you very unprofessional sad place of business I can't stand it I wouldn't recommend it for your teens or kids. Sadly now I sit here and wait not knowing when my daughter's next appointment is because they rescheduled us to a day when her orthodontist is not there "again " to tighten her braces. And they're fully paid. How is this place still in business I don't understand here I'm again frustrated another appointment canceled with us finding out when we got there I paid for Uber to get my daughter there because I worked at nights for to tell me the orthodontist isn't there. And when you complain it freaking pages and pages of text them telling you every excuse it your fault not their not even a courtesy call, how are they still doing business I mean we see new people every time we go there no wonder why they can't even keep employees.

Negative experience: Hygienist was very rude and tried to talk to me like I was stupid and try to belittled me. She talking to me like I didn't understand what co-pay means. They was trying to charge me for treatment that I kept telling them I didn't want. Two different ladies came to talk with me and I kept telling them no. They was trying to get me to pay for extra treatment. Finally, they left and came back and stated that they will waived the fee and I don't have to pay for the treatment, she came back with a paper for me to sign with $72.00 o it and I asked the young lady if the treatment was wavied why does it have $72.00 patient portions on the paperwork. kept telling me don't worry about it. I told her I would not sign the paperwork until the 72.00 is removed from the paperwork. she told me don't worry about because the fee is waved. I ask if that the case, why can't the charge be removed off the paperwork, she was getting very frustrated with me. She kept trying to get me to sign the paper with the amount of patience potion of $72.00. When I asked about the amount they really could not explain the $72.00. They was getting very upset, because I was telling them to explain the charge and what they was waving. I refuse for hygienist to clean my teeth, I didn't trust her in my mouth I was afraid of what she might do to me. When I went to the front desk Mr. Deshun explain to him the cleaning and the treatment they was trying to deceive me into paying for. after I told them several times that I want only the services my insurance would cover. $72.00 was for the laser treatment. The Carrollton Office/ people they lied to me during my visit. The only person that probably was truthful was DeShun. I was expecting alot more from this office. Beverly Lott
