Since 1967, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics - Pasadena Dentist continues to provide the most compassionate, high-quality, affordable and convenient dental and orthodontic care to our communities. Fantastic experience: The ladies there are supper sweet, the girl with the financial support is so helpful and patient and at the time thorough with all details of different scenarios with payment plans. The hygienist very sweet, I almost had a anxiety attack but she was patient and calming. I am praying that soon I will return for the full procedure. God Bless yall.

Negative experience: The day I went got my dental done like back In 2023 i had the cash up front to pay for my stuff done but instead they made me sign a contract that take ur money once month and it when I thought I was done paying it has hidden fees making u have to pay more then what they charge you at the dentist it's like paying off a loan I did had insurance to pay all my my stuff but my insurance wasn't charge at all they didn't want my insurance to pay they want you to pay they literally getting over you at this location what ever you do make sure you PAY IN CASH ITS A WARNING DONT PAY THROUGH NO CONTRACT THATS HOW THEY GET YOU Because You PAYING EXTRA THEN WHAT YOU PAY FOR UP FRONT

Negative experience: The office is modera clean, except for the dead bugs that are on the light covers above the treatment chair, the staff is pleasant. My problem with this location is that it’s always extremely cold in there. They never see you at your appointment time. It’s always over an hour past our appointment before they see us. We have been coming here for about two years, only staid because we had to finish a prepaid braces treatment for my kid.

Negative experience: Hello, I been having issues with this location for awhile now. It’s very hard to receive a phone call from them when it comes to regarding my pay options when I’m behind… I have left messages to the operators who answer phone calls for certain Jefferson Dental offices regarding my issue and for that office to contact me back I have yet to hear from them. I had an adjustment in March and we are now in August..I am behind on my payments and I wanna know what can be done to get back on track. The braces are tearing up the inside of my mouth and yet I still can’t get anyone from that office to help me and let me know what’s the best option at this point. Also I don’t stay near and it seems like every time I go it’s a waste of my time. If I’m behind on payments and I call to set up an appointment, you would think the operator will tell you that you will be denied if you’re behind on your payment at arrival time. Instead, I show up like a fool and to be denied when I arrive for my appointment so it’s taking time out of my day and my job to go that far for my appointment and for me to just turn around and go back home. It’s an inconvenience for me also, I have had where I was waiting in the waiting area for over an hour because they forgot that I was still there and didn’t pull my file till like an hour after it’s unprofessional and I’m second-guessing that i have made a huge mistake going to Jefferson dental for that perfect smile.

Negative experience: My mom had an appointment at 3pm and it is 4:37 right now and they just called her back to be seen. Wow this is crazy I can’t believe it takes that long to be seen with an appointment. Not recommended if you are a full time mom have a time limit.

Fantastic experience: This the first location that I actually like with customers service, time spent in the dentist and wait time i expected to wait a long time on a Saturday I didn’t. This was an after emergency room care for my son. Mrs. Maria Stephens, Vanessa and dentist assistant was great and took their time to give my son care when he was afraid to seat in the chair. I will continue to drive to this location I live in Conroe worth the drive. 2200 richey location thank you for great service even the front desk receptionist is kind.Very clean and up to date location.

Fantastic experience: I was a walk-in person. I was asked to fill out a registration form. I was asked to wait while my form was reviewed. I was called in to waiting area. I was allowed into one of the waiting rooms. My temperature was taken. X-rays were taken of my teeth. The doctor came in to explain the status of my teeth. Negative experience: This was one of the most traumatizing and degrading medical experiences I’ve ever had. I visited the Pasadena location today and left in tears. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely disrespected and dismissed by the staff. There was no sense of empathy, professionalism, or care. To make matters worse, a large image of the inside of my mouth—clearly from my dental records—was publicly displayed on a screen in the hallway where anyone walking by could see it. This felt like a serious violation of my privacy. The general manager, Vanessa B., was especially unprofessional. As the leader of the office, I expected her to de-escalate the situation and show compassion. Instead, she spoke very loudly and rudely about my personal dental chart in front of others. Her tone was condescending, her delivery was harsh, and her demeanor was completely inappropriate for someone in her position. When I calmly asked how I could file a formal complaint with corporate, she directed me to a voicemail box that was already full—further proving how little they seem to care about patient concerns. This experience wasn’t just disappointing—it was emotionally distressing. I felt humiliated and completely unheard. I strongly urge management and corporate to review how patients are being treated at this location. I am requesting this matter be escalated and investigated thoroughly. No one should be made to feel the way I did today in a medical setting.

Negative experience: Back in April 2024 I put it down payment of $450 towards orthodontics.A week later I decided to decline because I was going out of town and you have to come in so often to the office and I wasn't going to be able to do that. So I let them know I didn't want to go through with the contract. I realized they had to make the molds for my teeth and I wasn't worried about the $450.00 The problem that I have is they have the nerve to put the contract that we had in collections and put it on my credit report. There was no other service rendered. There was no reason to put it on my credit report!!! Reconsider if you plan on going here!

Positive experience: Friendly staff and clean establishment. Accommodated for my availability, I informed them that I had to leave at a certain time and they helped me by attending to me promptly. I would say overall good service. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars due to long wait time from initial sign in. And the other people in waiting room lacked common courtesy.

Negative experience: The WORST set of front desk staff I’ve ever dealt with. They’re very rude and racist. I paid for a service and was OVER charged $1400 didn’t know until my insurance statement came in. Filed a claim to get my money back and talked to the coordinator that charged me and she agreed I was over charged and she never answered the phone for them to reimburse me, and that was a year ago. They ALL keep a nasty attitude at the front and avoid you when you ask questions they know they are wrong for. Will never go here again once I’m done with Invisalign. The ortho staff is nice and helpful though.

Negative experience: Had an appointment at 3:15 pm and got there 15 minutes before my appointment, I waited over an hour. When I asked the receptionist if I had to wait longer since i had ben sitting there for over an hour she asked me to give her a minute to check. She asked the other receptionist if she pulled my file out I could hear her saying “I don’t know, it should be there.” Clearly the file wasn’t pulled out. Came back to tell me just to sit down and i’ll be next but as i already waited longer than an hour i told her i can just make an appointment for a different day and she insisted i wait “it wouldn’t be long,” from what i was told. Still waited another 10 minutes and decided to leave. No apology was said, quite ridiculous, morning service is definitely better.

Fantastic experience: I can truly say that I would recommend anybody to go to this specific Jefferson dental location the entire staff starting from the front to the back office were amazing. Very polite, very respectful and the biggest thumbs up for me is that the dental assistances don’t have the super long nails. what I love most about was the dentist respected my biggest concern with my dental issues. I have been to other Jefferson dental locations and every time I went it was always a horror story. But this location is the best. I really don’t put a lot of reviews out there for businesses, but this location does deserve every word that I am putting. Great job office manager Vanessa! Keep up the great job!

Fantastic experience: I haven't had a tooth pulled in literally 36 years for fear of the pain I experienced back then Today I had to have a deep cleaning, 2-fillings and 1-extraction and 2-stitches I was extremely nervous, but the Dentist & staff were so patient with me they went above & beyond to help me relax Dr. Wagh was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! He was able to do everything i needed with the least amount/ to no pain. If you need any dental work done i 100% recomend Jefferson Dental!!! Because of my experience today i no longer fear the dentist office. Jefferson Dental is now my go to dentist place

Fantastic experience: The prices were very reasonable and the care was excellent! The dentist, Dr. Wagn was very fast and the dental assistant, Selena answered all of my concerns proficiently. Negative experience: Horrible experience charged my card again for a charge that WAS NOT OWED, and will not refund me ! Office FAILED to stop the charge after multiple calls, the charge still went through. They said it was my problem and they were not able to assist me further.

Negative experience: Reception is not customer friendly. I checked in 15 mins before my appointment and still waited over an hour. Front desk gave me excuses once I got up to cancel my appointment. I understand if it gets busy, but I would appreciate proper communication and for them to not argue with me. Two stars because I can’t speak on the actual dental service.

Negative experience: My daughter is a student in Alvin TX. It is a 45 min drive from her apartment to the dentist office. The office called her 8 min before her appointment time to tell her the Orthodontist called in sick. When I called to explain how far she had to drive and if she can go in at least to get a cleaning EDITH was extremely rude and stated “well if she’s due” well yes! I know that! They rescheduled her appointment for 2 days later and told her she was due for an adjustment in her braces and new wires. When my daughter got to her appointment they didn’t do any of that and told her no you don’t need it after all! My daughter had to tell the ORTHODONTIST to put in a twist so that her teeth don’t shift and to add a chain to her brackets. So basically my 18yr old became the orthodontist. Although they are quick to collect payment before anything. I’m not sure if they think they can treat an 18 yr old like crap cause they think their parent is not there to defend them since I live in San Antonio TX. This office is HORRIBLE extremely rude not helpful at all! Unfortunately we can’t move dentist because of a contract with my daughters braces so all I can do is post reviews and continue to call this office!

Always running behind because they over load their schedules, so you’re waiting there for hours past your appointment time. The reception area staff is not friendly and they never really know what is going on to give you any updates.

Fantastic experience: Update: Just came from my one year checkup after having the braces removed. Dr Raven is amazing! She was and still is, just as excited about my new Smile as I am. I have and will continue to recommend them for Orthodontics Totally different experience than the previous branch I was at. Dr Sutton is very curtious, patient and straightforward with treatment and plans. He also removed a couple brackets to replace them and I didn't even know he had done it. Looking forward to finishing treatment and having a great new smile to show for it!

Positive experience: I love the whole process of my appointment but I am very dissatisfied with the fact that they made me wait for 5 hours for an hour and half appointment! I had to literally just wait there for nothing!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr. Aditya Wagh. He is so amazing at everything he does, I never have a sore mouth or feel anything he does....... NOTHING!! He has done a lot of work on my teeth including pulling a tooth. My mouth never did hurt at all afterwards. It amazes me how I didn't feel anything. Any other dentist I have been to my mouth would be sore just from the shots. Not Dr. Wagh......I think everyone needs to know about him!! He is very nice, professional, and caring about his patients!!

Fantastic experience: You can tell the people who put 1 stars here were just unhappy costumers who didn’t get their way, aka the “Karens”. I can genuinely say this was the best service I’ve received in a long time. I typically am super afraid of any doctor/dentist visit but the staff here really took the time to explain all the procedures, knowing up front how much it is so that you can make the decision is super important and the fact that I met with someone to tell me line by line what I was getting charged for was so important in my decision making. Jade was such a joy to spend the day with, she really got to know me, made the process less painful, and was constantly checking in even when there were others taking care of me. Great great service!

Negative experience: I waited 2 hours to be told I had to come back the following day bc the doctor left at 3 pm when my appointment was for 2:45. Also I was told my first visit was free, including xrays and consult. I received a bill a month later for over $100. I don't mind paying for services but your establishment doesn't provide good customer service at all. Get it together people

Negative experience: they wanted to charge me almost 2000 AFTER insurance for a cleaning that ended up being $89 and fully covered somewhere else. when asking for an explanation as to why they were charging that much, the employees were visibly nervous and trying to come up with explanations. i recommend getting second opinions if possible

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the level of care received , while they were efficient with getting X-rays and etc done, I was in because of me having pain in my jaw/wisdom tooth area. Was told there was nothing irritated or abnormal back there other than obviously needing my wisdom teeth out at some point. They left punctures on the backside of my gums from the tools they used that are severely painful and over the weekend I’ve had more and more pain with my face now being swollen. Come to find out they missed an abscess that was growing! The infection was starting to get into my blood stream! Please if you have to second guess do not go here! For braces and orthodontics they’re probably great but not for regular care!!!!

Negative experience: Yesterday 5-8-24 was a not so good like other days I had to wait for a hour in the lobby appointment 8:30am and then take me into 9:42am people walking inside and they take first. Not respecting my time is very valuable too. Like others days have to wait for along time and then reschedule for another day. Maybe is time for me to look for another dentist office so sad

Negative experience: Brought my husband here for an appointment for a tooth that had a cap break off of it. We sat and waited to even be called back for over an hour, and when we finally got pulled back there, they took X-rays and imaging and then 3 different people kept rushing in and out from where we were sitting, listing off all of this work that needed to be done, but didn't once mention what we were actually there for. We then sat and waited for another hour just to have another woman come tell us all of these procedures that needed to be done, not once were we asked what we needed done, or asked for consent for any of the procedures they wanted to do. It didn't feel like they wanted to help, it felt like they were more worried about squeezing us for every penny we had. We've been here twice and I'd rather let my teeth rot and fall out than come back here.

Negative experience: The very first time I came was great but now for a cleaning I’m here for at LEAST 3 hours. I don’t know if they over book people or what’s going on but it’s horrible. No problem or issues with the drs but it’s ridiculously slow. And like I said it’s not a one time thing, it’s every single time we come for a cleaning and to do an adjustment to braces. It’s over an hour wait for them to do that in 5min

Negative experience: I liked everyone there. I was there entirely too long from 11:00 to 3:40pm. I was tired and in pain. Too many X-rays too much time being talked to like I’m a child by the hygienist. I just wanted a bad tooth pulled. I was too tired to be making so my other decisions. The interest rate on the financing is too high. I thought it was 0%. I was too tired to notice. I won’t be doing any financing. If I was afraid my bad tooth wouldn’t get infected again I’d wait until next year. Everyone was very nice but once again I had been there too long to make such expensive decisions. I just want the tooth pulled for now. I need to add the day after the one above. It too was a nightmare. I had 2 teeth pulled. The k9 on the left side was pulled why I went in the first place it was infected. It took forever for him to pull it. I had to get extra novocaine. In the other side another tooth pulled. I was told I needed a bridge and teeth on each side was grounded down. The water from the drill was drowning me. I had him stop and some adjustment was made. Then the water was pouring down my face, down my neck and down my back. I was soaked before I could get him to stop. This time the technician made an adjustment to the water. I signaled again it was spraying up my nose drowning me. I think they turned off the water and started drilling away and it hurt me. Novocaine wore off again. The tech glued in the temporary bridge. It looked horrible and the glue was nasty. The whole experience was terrifying and no one seemed to care too worried about going to lunch. Pray for me I have to go back and get the permanent bridge put in. This was by far the worst dentist I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to some bad ones. On top of all of that I was told my insurance wouldn’t pay one dime even though it should have. I will NEVER GO BACK TO A JEFFERSON DENTAL AGAIN. I have found a private dentist that will care for my needs for now on.

Negative experience: I am so disappointed. My daughter got braces there in March and everything seemed fine until I made an appointment for a cleaning. Of course every time we go she needs a special cleaning and the lady at the desk said it’s because she has bad hygiene and we have patients that can keep up with their hygiene. Very rude and since when do we need cleanings every 3 months they never told us that when getting the braces. Plus my insurance only covers cleanings every 6 months. I wish I could take those braces off and get my money back

Positive experience: I would really like to give a 5 star review, but 3 things happened today at my appointment for cleaning. 1) The hygienist is awesome, but she used a treatment on my gums that has a bit of antibiotic in it. After applying it, I asked if it has penicillin in it? Because I'm allergic to it. She didn't know..... Good thing I'm not deathly allergic, but I still don't need the issues. Yes my allergy is noted on my chart. This is a safety issue. 2) The cost. A simple cleaning was $170. I no longer have insurance since losing my job. They also suggest I come every 3 months for another cleaning. Unfortunately I will need to look elsewhere. I can't afford this as they offer no type of affordable package plan like my last dentist office did. I switched because it was convenient due to having my braces done here. 3) Even having an early morning appointment, the dental side seems to drag their feet. I arrived on time and was quickly checked in. Waited 30-45 minutes before being called to go back. Sat in the chair another 15-20 minutes waiting for the hygienist. I was there 90 minutes for a 30 minute cleaning. The day I got my braces off and had a cleaning scheduled for immediately after- 4 Hours later, I had to reschedule the cleaning and leave because I had things to do. The ortho side has it together. The dental side does not.

Negative experience: Waiting time is terrible! I gave this place a second chance after I had waited 2 hrs for an appt before I walked out. Still had to wait over and hour to be seen for this appt. Dr Patel is rude. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or not but she sure made it seem that way. Waiting time definitely has to improve.
