Hunters Creek Dentistry: Reviews
Negative experience: Even with dental insurance, I still ended up paying over $1,000 out of pocket — which was shocking and frustrating. I made an appointment for 10:00 AM, but wasn’t actually seen by the dentist until well over an hour later, even though I was sitting in the chair the whole time waiting. When the dentist finally came in, he kept leaving in the middle of my treatment to attend to other patients. It felt rushed and unprofessional, like I wasn’t getting the time and attention I was paying for. To make things worse, they have a $50 cancellation policy that requires two business days’ notice, yet they don’t even call to confirm until the day before the appointment — which makes no sense and feels unfair to patients. Overall, very disappointing experience. Between the long wait times, lack of attention, and questionable billing practices, I wouldn’t recommend this office.

Our team works hard to verify insurance benefits and provide accurate estimates, but we understand that dental treatment can be costly and we are always open to discussing financial options with our patients.
We also apologize for the long wait time and interruptions during your treatment. We understand that your time is valuable and we will work to improve our scheduling and communication to ensure a more timely and uninterrupted visit in the future.
As for our cancellation policy, we do require a 48-hour notice for any changes to appointments. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who may be in need of urgent care. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience for you.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the Hunters Creek area and needed to find a new dentist . Went here based on the google reviews I read and I am so happy I did . From the ease of making an appointment and getting in within a few days to the clean and inviting reception area and receptionist. Then meeting my hygienist Kathy ( absolutely wonderful and gentle) she explained everything as we went . Dr Bonnin was very pleasant and made sure all my questions were answered. Fantastic experience: I had to find a new dentist due to my change from private insurance to Medicare. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many dentist’s growing up and have been failed by most offices. This place is top tier. The dental hygienist that does cleanings is very professional, informative and made me feel super comfortable the 2 times I got a cleaning from her. And Dr. Bonnin is rare! He’s the only dentist that’s ever been real with me about the deeper issues going on with my teeth. He takes the time to explain things to you and uses analogy’s to help you understand better. I’ve never seen a dentist care enough to stop and drop everything to be fully present like that and genuinely care about you. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer questions I had and performed the work exceptionally. Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for many years. They are super professional, quick to be seen and do a very thorough job with cleanings. Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience here. The staff came across as unprofessional, and it was clear that patient care was not a priority. I felt rushed, unheard, and like just another number. A dentist’s office should make you feel safe and cared for — this one did the opposite. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: I went in for 2 extractions today. I was scared, nervous and my blood pressure was high. The dental assistant checked my blood pressure and confirmed it was high. She assured me everything was going to be okay and relax. The dentist came asked about my concerns and explained everything. Within the hour it was all over. I was so relieved and so surprised it was all over. I highly recommend them. The entire staff is very professional and very friendly. Most of all the place is clean and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bonnin and his team are incredible. I am NOT a fan of going to the dentist, but found myself there with a same day dental emergency. Not only did they take amazing care of me, they worked with me to ease my anxiety and helped develop a tolerable treatment plan. I’ve had a root canal, a dental implant, a cleaning and fillings done pain and judgement free. And bonus! Most everyone in the office is bilingual!! Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for a while now, and I really enjoy it. The staff is always friendly and kind, and they make you feel comfortable. I’ve had a few regular cleanings and recently had a filling replaced. During my filling replacement the doctor asked what music I wanted to listen to and played it. Felt like I was getting dental work done in my car! Little things like that make this a great dentist office.

Negative experience: I called this office to schedule a cleaning and asked about the price, but the receptionist told me they don’t provide prices over the phone. I find this very frustrating—why should the cost of a basic service be a mystery? Transparency in pricing is important, and as a patient, I’d like to know what I’m expected to pay before committing to an appointment. Does the price depend on the number of teeth I have or some other hidden factor? It would be much more helpful if they were upfront about their fees instead of making potential patients jump through hoops just to get a simple answer.

Fantastic experience: I started attending this office before the current dentist, I still go because of the care and staff is always making sure you are comfortable and always asking how you feel during you procedure and after, the dentist wants to get to know his patient beyond the teeth check ups, like music while he does his procedures.for being a dentist he is an ok guy hehe.
