Negative experience: This is the worst dentist office I’ve ever visited. Not only is it run down but the dentist did not adequately answer my questions nor give me enough time to ask them! It was a 5 min visit from the dentist and then to “clean” my teeth. Which involved a water pick… nothing else no toothpaste , no floss and definitely no fluoride that a full clean would entail. I’m waiting for them to send out the bill because I’m about to contest that clean. Now I won’t be able to get a clean from a reputable dentist for 6 months.. as my insurance only allows 2 cleans a year. The office was also dingy looking and looked liked it had been in need of an update several years ago. I was awry as soon as I got to the office but still went inside and decided to give a chance. I fully regret now.

Positive experience: Although the dentist was very professional and so was the receptionist the room itself was dirty had a funny smell dust all over everything and white powder on the countertop and it looked like the head seat cover had been used before.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place! Friendly and caring. Another dentist wanted to pull all my teeth and give me dentures. Familia told me my teeth were good and gave me partials instead saving me a lot of pain and money.

Negative experience: This dentist has been turned in for fraud,my insurance already paid for my dentures repair on December 25th,I went to get my lower dentures and he said I owed him 302.00 in the patient area,receipt shows nothing on where the money went,my insurance paid him 4 different amounts of money very poor quality and is double dipping people on medicaid do not pay anything,this dentist doesn't know the difference between medicaid and Medicare serious problem with this place

Fantastic experience: They were really good, and made sure I didn't feel a thing. I had a full extraction done, id say pain scale was a 1. Now I am a bit worried once the numbness wears off they said to take ibuprofen or Tylenol.

Negative experience: Everything was great up until I got to the pharmacy and the doctor is not in the Medicaid program so my prescriptions are not covered and I have to pay for them out-of-pocket and trying to correct that is not something I should have to do myself as a patient. That is something that the dental office number one should have a remedied already by now because I know I’m not the only one who has this problem and Number 2 that the Pharmacy should be well aware of as well and have a procedure for so that the patient does not have to be inconvenienced.

Fantastic experience: Doctor got me in no time at all. Very kind to me. Walked me though everything and I was numb numb befor pulling my tooth then sent me home with more gauze and what to do. Everyone was so kind and amazing. Springfeild il office is amazing. My local dentist wanted $1000 dollars with insurance to pull my tooth.

Fantastic experience: Very excellent and professional care. The time was limited to do everything and the Dentist even cleaned my teeth while there on the first visit and it didn't hurt. He also explained the plan of care on my first visit. I love it there and feel very confident in my care there.

Negative experience: They're deleting reviews. So here's a recap. Don't go. I originally gave 5 stars because Dr. Narra seemed to care. However, 1. I have received poor quality work that I will now have to pay out of pocket to fix. 2. Dr. Narra uses women's chests as his tool tray during appointments(as others have stated) 3. They have very blurry x rays that lead Dr. Narra to tell me everything looks great. To which I then have to correct him that I have several broken teeth. His response? "Smile? -- Oh, I can't fix that here. You need to see another dentist. Call your insurance they'll know where to send you." No. They didn't because I was given no codes etc. I then have to fight with them to get a referral. 4. The referral? For a root canal on a tooth that already had one. Not for the crown I'm trying to get. 5. They ignore emails. 6. Staff is rude (not everyone). Specifically Jennifer Puffenberger will talk down to you and say she didn't get your emails, when she got them just fine earlier. 7. They delete bad reviews to up their score. Go look at Yelp for a better idea of what's going on. 8. I had to pay out of pocket at my old dentist for x rays that you could actually see anything on and was told this is THE WORST place in town and she has known people who work here and have "horror stories." 9. They talk down to the children and parents who come in This is a practice that should not be receiving tax payer money. They will ruin your teeth, use your benefits so you can't get help somewhere else, and cost you much more in the long run. And then delete your review, but keep a few bad reviews on their site so it looks less obvious. This is a predatory practice.

Fantastic experience: The Springfield, Illinois office has wonderful folks working there. The receptionist is kind and competent. The technicians are friendly and helpful, and our dentist is the most reassuring, kind, and patient man. He knows dental work can be scary. His goal is to do what is best for his patients, and to ease your concerns. Every time we see him he is so mild mannered and friendly. He is what makes the office great!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a bad tooth but my blood pressure was too high for them to pull it I worked with the staff on prescriptions for the pain and antibiotics had some problems at the pharmacy but nothing to do La familia would recommend them to anyone very friendly staff very helpful...

Positive experience: The 2 at the front decks seems nice. When she called me back to the room I waited to long. The dentist don't want to take me insurance for what I need done for some reason. I wants me to pay out of my pocket. Don't make no sense to me when my insurance will pay. Other than what his still a good dentist since I been going there

Fantastic experience: Took a bit to get in, but once my appointment was made it was a breeze! Front desk ladies were great! I waited Less than 10 mins in the lobby to go back! Popped through the Xray machine! Got a chair had a few more pictures done of my teeth and doc ( dentist ) came in and got to work! Cleaned my teeth and actually filled a cavity/broken tooth and a chipped tooth I didn’t even know was there in less than 45 minutes! I had a little unexpected bleeding so I was out the door with a few gauze pads in under an hour and the repair/filling looks and most importantly feels normal! Thanks Familia Dental

Fantastic experience: From the office workers to the Dr this office is great. I feel very comfortable being there, they pulled 2teeth and I didn’t feel a thing. They measured me for my dentures and made sure the color of them is very close to my own. If there is anything I can say bad about the place is that it will take another 3wks before I get my dentures but that’s a me problem because I’m very impatient.

Negative experience: Zero stars!! Horrible experience. I called for their pediatric dentistry services because my daughter had a cavity and was in pain. They scheduled us three weeks out, even after I explained she was hurting. Then, the day before the appointment, they called to say they don’t even do pediatric dentistry. When I calmly told the girl on the phone that they should receive better training so this doesn’t happen to other parents, she was rude, unprofessional, and actually hung up on me. Completely unacceptable and disappointing service.

Negative experience: Terrible. Money grab. I went in for another extraction. Turns out my medicare allows $750 per year. They used it all on the first extraction. Had about a 20 second cleaning along with an xray. I did not ask for a cleaning. They just had to get the whole $750. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I was a first time patient @ Familia Dental & my experience was Top Tier.!!! It was truly excellent service from the staff all the way up to the Dr. I was presented with kindness, most importantly the professionalism was fantastic! They took good care of me, and I was happy with my the results. Thanks Familia Dental!

Fantastic experience: I was able to get an appointment like 2 days after I called. When I got there, I was taken back right away. The staff there were all very professional, did their jobs flawlessly & quickly, and were very nice & welcoming. The dentist came in as soon as the assistants had the X-rays finished! It's probably the most smooth Dr's appt I've ever had & that made my normal "dentist visit anxiety" disappear. I'll have my cavity filled very soon & I'm so glad I called!

Negative experience: Not a fan of the doctor they gave me he seems to use my arm/boob as a table for his tools it’s happened TWO times (the only times iv gone) i end up moving his tool and placing my hand on my boob so he understands bro i can literally feel your fingers touch me. I WONT BE GOING BACK AGAIN. iv been through personal stuff and THIS didnt help

Positive experience: Dentist is very nice and front desk staff also are however I had quite a few extractions (front of my mouth)done and just know that there is no antibiotics or pain medication given after and the other dentist that is now closed that took my insurance I had a few extractions as well and was given antibiotic and a pain medication but the antibiotic is the best thing to make sure no infection happens I imagine this is because maybe they can’t do RX idk but here we go into the first 24 hours wish me luck in healing! Just so everyone knows what to expect becuase I did not!

Fantastic experience: This is the BEST dental care establishment that I have ever seen. The dentist and his assistant were both amazing. I didn't feel any pain and I had about 7 teeth and probably 12 roots taken out. If I had small children this is where I would take them. They're THAT good.

Negative experience: My first visit went well. The dentist I saw was caring and had a good bedside manner. He recommended having all my teeth extracted and an appointment was set. When my appointment rolled around, he was no longer with the practice and I saw someone else. Every time after that first visit, the office was always dirty. There was always trash and used paper towels on the counters and sometimes it was dirtier than that. I had to reschedule a couple times because my blood pressure was too high to do anything but when I was finally able to get them pulled, they were supposed to be all done at once. He decided to only do the top teeth. I believe it was because my appointment was at 5 pm and he had been talking with his assistant about being ready to go home. He was definitely in a hurry considering the way he was yanking my head around pulling my teeth. I got immediate dentures at the time of extraction. It took a couple visits to get my top teeth to fit right but it got done eventually. When it came time to pull my bottom teeth, I felt everything. I told him it hurt but he insisted that all I felt was pressure. I know the difference between pain and pressure. I forgot to bring the bottom dentures and was told to put them in when I got home. I couldn't get them in and hurried back to the office to have him put them in. They didn't go on properly but he assured me they were fine. They came out before I even got back to the house. I went back a week later to get them adjusted so I could wear them. He shaved them down a little bit before he told my gums were still swollen. I was told to come back in a week or two but I could shave them down at home with a file so they would fit. I looked up how to do that online and everything I read said to leave it to the professionals so I did. I waited two weeks to go back to make sure all the swelling was gone. He acted like I was bothering him asking to adjust them. I told them that it wouldn't go over my gums in the back on one side and the first thing he did was try to force them on which really hurt right where I told him it would. He shaved them down but not where I told him they needed to be shaved. Every time he took them back, they would return with sharp edges. I asked him to smooth those out and he would shave down the whole thing to the point that there's now hardly anything left and he once again told me I could file them down myself to make them fit. They are unwearable at this point. I will attach pictures so you can see his handywork. The extraction was done on June 11th and I still haven't been able to use my bottom dentures. That's well over a month. The last time I went in, he told me he would call me in a couple weeks to set up an appointment to have them recast if my insurance would cover it. He messed them up. He should be taking care of this. My insurance should have nothing to do with it. That me makes me believe he kept telling me to file them down myself so that he wouldn't be responsible. I believe that he should replace them at no cost to me or my insurance. I also received a letter from my insurance stating that they denied a claim from him. It was code d7321. Alveoloplasty. I looked up the code and it was for a procedure that he didn't perform. I was there. I remember. I felt everything so I know there was no scalpel, no file, no sutures, and no follow up appointment was made. My appointment was at 5 pm. I was in that chair for a total of 30 minutes including the wait for the dentist to finish up with another patient. I was able to get home, attempt to put my dentures in and get back to the office before they closed at 6. There was no time for him to do anything other than pull my teeth. That's insurance fraud which I will be reporting and putting in my review. I understand that I'm on Medicaid but I still deserve good service just like everyone else.

Negative experience: Made an appointment today because I broke a tooth on Wednesday. Haven’t been able to eat solid food since. Was told they could fix it today! Went in they took x-rays said I needed a cleaning, some fillings and then they could fix my tooth all in one day but the soonest appointment is three weeks out!!! Like for real so I have to deal with pain an a soft diet for three weeks what a joke. I’ll be calling other places to see if I can get my tooth fixed sooner.

Got some of that was professional who told me that they weren’t gonna be open on Saturday due to the holiday no big deal. She had told me that I could go to the walk-in clinic anytime on Monday. All I do is walk in. I told her I worked till 430. I’d have to come in after that. She said that’s fine today I come into the clinic they told me the walk-in clinics only during the time where I’m at work And would not schedule me an appointment either. I went to this place before with no issues and now I This place has been nothing but drama. Very disappointed would not recommend the left-hand doesn’t know what the right hands doing

Fantastic experience: I had an abscess over Thanksgiving and was miserable, swollen and in pain. They were able to get me seen the very next day Dr Tran was the Dentist I seen and after telling him I was full of anxiety and scared , he made my emergency visit very comfortable. The staff were also very caring. Thanks familia for caring.....

Negative experience: Service was okay. I went in with a concern on my lower jaw. Instead they didn’t pay attention and gave me two new fillings. Now I’m having pain trying to floss that one tooth. It hurts to put pressure on it. Also very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: My first visit and I learned something new, that too much sugar can actually contribute to bone loss. I wish I had known this sooner, but better late than never I suppose. The staff was super friendly, kind and thorough. Very pleasant first impression!

Negative experience: HORRIBLE place to go for teeth. Extremely unprofessional. I went to get a check up. And told the dentist that I believe I may have a cavity. They said I didn't, but to come back for a filling. I took a photo of my own tooth to show the dentist what I believed was causing me pain. The photo clearly showed a hole in my tooth. They then told me, that there wasn't anything they could do, and sent me to WALMART to get Dentek. I would NEVER go here for ANY services.

Negative experience: 0/0 I don’t recommend Dr.Narra very rough when injecting the numbing medicine into my gums. I was there for cleaning and fillings as to which he only did my cleaning didn’t say schedule another appointment for filling the energy was way off! The counters in the room I was in had crumbs all over it and his assistant had an attitude as well DO NOT DENTISTS OFFICE

Fantastic experience: Patricia at the Front desk is beyond amazing at her job, I personally prefer to talk to her when scheduling appointments. Dr Narra is beyond excellent. His finesse as a dentist and his skills to repair my teeth has been flawless. I’ve never been so impressed by a dentist and I will forever say Dr Narra is one of the best. Both of these employees literally saved my life with their skills and I am grateful! I appreciate the work that has been done by these two with my care.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews. But I have to give credit where it’s due. I needed a wisdom tooth extracted. Was quoted over $2,000.00 at 3 different dentists in central IL and they would not except Medicaid. They reported that it would need to be surgically removed and that it was in a really bad spot. First time seeing Dr. Narra, he numbed me up, had a great attitude and proceeded to extract the tooth, start to finish in less than a minute. I was completely healed 2-3 days later. The professionalism, confidence & the ability to extract it without cutting into me was beyond impressive! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Fantastic experience: Every visit, they are so friendly. On our first visit, I wasn’t so sure of the setup. Didn’t seem like there was much privacy. However, the team goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of, and that your information is safe, there is no judgment, and that you come first. My kids actually like it here.

Positive experience: The wait time after check-in, wasn't long, but the wait time for the dentist was very long. Understanding their could be a lot of patience there to get things done to their teeth, they have to get them done first.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for a better visit. I called for an emergency visit and was in the next morning at 9am. I had a broken molar pulled, and the dentist was great. No insurance sucks but what they charged was VERY reasonable. I'll definitely be making more appts in the future.

Negative experience: I initially scheduled an appointment online, but when we arrived, we were informed that the appointment wasn't valid and had to reschedule. The earliest available slot was a week later, and it was mistakenly booked as a cleaning instead of a filling. Now, he has to return next week for the correct procedure. It's frustrating that we don't have better options. Very disappointing!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience I had 4 teeth pulled my dentist there was great he numbed my mouth did not feel the shots not one had my 4 teeth out in less than 3 mins wonderful job his asstance were also great 2 wonderful and pleasant workers made me feel comfortable and relaxed answered all my questions all three the dentist and his lovely 2 assistants and the receptionist both were great thank you for a great experience and look forward to seeing you finish my work on teeth so I can do a before and after great job very helpful and happy with service
