Negative experience: The worst place you can go, these people is not even professional and don’t know how to treat people , every single person starting from the front desk to the doctors they don’t even care about you they just want to charge the insurance , appointments are joke , avoid this place at all cost

Negative experience: I have never left a dental office feeling so horrible about myself and my mouth. The bedside manner was awful, cold, judgmental, and pushy. They quoted me for FIFTEEN cavities, even though I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort. Something felt off, so I went back to my original dentist for a second opinion. Guess what? I only had THREE cavities. THREE. Some of the teeth Mint Dentistry wanted to drill into were completely HEALTHY. This place left me feeling like just a dollar sign, not a patient. Dishonest practices, horrible experience. Please save yourself the stress and money get a second opinion before letting them touch your teeth.

Negative experience: Today's experience was awful. I almost cried the entire time because my mouth was throbbing. I never had my mouth bleeding that much just for a routine cleaning. I been to this location a couple times with great experience. But this time I’m still a bit speechless and I don’t know what I need or should do about this because I feel like this is very unacceptable. I really wish they had informed me earlier that a temporary hygienist would be helping this location because I was not even aware. I’m not trying to be harsh, but it was one of those moments where I regret even booking the appointment. Also, I've never had a hygienist apply numbing gel to my teeth or gums before a cleaning—this just felt off and strange. I feel like if they knew how to be gentle with patients, this whole experience could’ve been avoided. But it's over now, so I just have to let it go and hope this location learns from this, so no one else has to go through what I did. What was supposed to be a cleaning became the worst experience in my life.

Negative experience: No regard for patients time and poor patient relations. My son had an appointment scheduled at Mint Dentistry west oaks for May 1, 2025 at 4:30 pm. I received several reminders of the appointment leading up to May 1st. The day of the appointment, at 3:02 pm I received a text that an earlier appointment was available please call or respond to text if I would like to reschedule. In the same minute, I received another text my appointment is scheduled for 4pm. I called the Mint Dentistry number located online. I spoke to nice gentleman who confirmed my appointment was still scheduled for 4:30pm, they were just trying to get me in earlier but he could see, I’m still scheduled for 4:30pm. I arrived on the parking lot at 4:29pm walked in and was informed the doctor left and there was no one available to do my son’s cleaning. My first question was why didn’t anyone call me to notify me. The receptionist stated she did. I said no, I didn’t receive a call, I only received a text and I even called to confirm the appointment was still scheduled. I stated, I would not have wasted my time. If I give no stars I would. I completely understand the staff and doctor may have wanted to go home for the day but to reschedule an appointment without consent, not actually speak to the patient or guardian and act like all is well when they arrive and casually say the doctor left, like it’s no big deal is unbefitting. People’s time is valuable. Obviously, that’s why the doctor left early. But I guess it’s okay to have the patient waste their time and arrive at an appointment that the staff took the liberty to reschedule. If the appointment time wasn’t an option or inconvenient to the doctor or the staff they shouldn’t offer it during scheduling. This situation could have been handled better, where everyone’s timing was considered, not just the doctors or the staff. They also could have had a little more care and concern for patient timing. Even If I would have received a call 15-20 minutes before, that’s more courteous than arriving to an appointment just to be told no one’s there to conduct the cleaning. I’m truly displeased.

Negative experience: This company price gouges if your insurance is not in their network. Please check to see what they are charging your insurance because they will use your entire years benefit on 1 cavity. They will charge you a low price but will overcharge your insurance for simple services. Please Please check to see what they are charging your insurance because you will think you have benefits left but you won't. They charge 3-4 times what a normal dentist office would charge.

Fantastic experience: I love this location and Mint Dentistry as a whole, Dr Lam is the best. She is not only professional but she is caring and does everything necessary to make sure her patients are comfortable. I have horrible anxiety and had an anxiety attack during my procedure she reacted so fast and her and her staff made sure to comfort me until I was calm enough to proceed. No judgement they just made sure I was good. My kids also come to this location and I’ve never seen kids who you don’t have to coerce to go to the dentist but they to love Dr. Lam and her amazing staff. From the front desk to the back they are a 10/10!!!!!

Negative experience: 8:32 844 个 MINT dentistry | West Oaks I received a crown today and per usual the dentist was rude. I was visiting the VA for my dental treatments after her lost rude treatment over a year ago but due to not being able to be seen in a timely manner by VA I decided to go back to MINT to receive treatment for a crown they said I needed. The dentist per usual came in rude. She doesnt speak. She doesnt review anything with me. She huffed when I asked he to take a look at a tooth that was giving me pain. She didnt want to listen to me while she had a drill in my mouth when I was asking her questions for clarity before she drilled a tooth that wasnt supposed to be treated that day. She literally threw her hands up when I asked her to wait and looked puzzled before she began drilling my teeth. I then stated " Im not trying to frustrate you but I want to understand" and she said fine ion want you to have doubts either (bih explain it then so I dont but she didnt) she said Ill just drill more of the crown I have a little more room. I left with a short a** gold tooth that causes me pain post numbness. The pain feels worst and sharper than before I even received treatment. Shes rude. The job is worst than the first crown I had. She is rude. She act like she hate her job. After the very awkward moment she made a joke and laugh with the DA about the similarities of Tagala language and Spanish but said nothing to me after shooing me off with her hands thrown up and then shaving dang near the entire good crown piece down to a short tooth that is causing me pain on my bite. She entered and exited the room without saying anything. She didnt give any post op advice or nothing. The DA later explained what I thought the dentist should have been explaining as far as the shaving and smoothing procedures she wanted to do in my mouth. My bite is different than before root canal treatment. The DA was pleasant but the Dentist really shouldnt be there. She doesnt like people and if she does. She doesn't like me because EVERY TIKE she is in my mouth I literally fear for my tongue. She handles me roughly and then huffs and puffs as if I should just accept it. It really was a scary experience. Id hate to think about her treating ppl unconscious. I definitely wouldnt fall asleep under her care. Shes a rude person who has terrible chair side manner and is ALWAYS IN AN ILL MOOD TOWARDS ME WHEN I HAVE TO GET TREATMENT. SHE ACTS AS IF THE PAIN IM MENTIONING ISNT. REAL. SHE STATES THINGS ARE OK BUT I HAVE TEETH THAT HURT MORE THAN NORMAL SENSITIVITY. HER SERVICE IS A**. Straight up A** and Ill be finding another dentist who cares about their patients comfort and who dont make them feel stupid, unheard, and scared while in her chair. Her followup questioning is condescending when you attempt to explain your concerns. Shes just an all around nightmare and Im done giving her chances. I fear the next time I may lose my tongue or something the way she huffs and take her irritability out on my teeth. She has the patience of a dead person which is none because they are dead. Dead inside. Shes rude and its obvious she hates dentistry and if she doesnt hate dentistry she hates people and if she doesnt hate people she hates me a patient who spends money for a comfortable, kind service which I can never receive from her. I always leave having to say a prayer and sage because of how uncomfortable her energy makes me feel. Shes is the worst! I had better service from Army Dentists and VA Docs. I do not understand how no one has reprimanded her to a point where she changes her behavior. I dont understand it. Shes SIMPLY RUDEEEEEEE. And the clinic knows this incident is true because they didnt even make me pay my balance upon completion. Nor did they send the usual review text. So Im here reviewing her rude a** service.

Negative experience: If I could give a 0, I would. I had an appointment to get my teeth clean today at Mint dentistry West Oak, 2535 S Texas 6, Houston, Texas 77082 at 11 am. I had to take some time off work to come to the appointment. I arrived around 10:30 am since they texted me to come 15 min early. After almost a 30 min wait, they took me to the room close to 11 and took the X-ray. The dentist came in around 11:10 and told me that I need a deep cleaning for my teeth, I m ok with that so she started numbing my gum. After I got my gum numbed, she told me to hold the water drainer and wait for the hygienist to come and to my cleaning. I was waiting all the way until 11:45 holding the drainer but no one showing up. My face got the feeling back again and I have to get back to work around 12:30pm. I have been to Mint dentistry since 2021 and every time it s only take 30-40 min to do my cleaning max and most of my family have been to Mint dentistry. After this, we will reconsider another clinic for our teeth. Mint dentistry expects people to come right on time for their appointment with 50 dollars charge without showing up. I did show up early for my appointment and what do I get out of it, my face getting numb and my teeth is not getting cleaned. The lady at the front desk showing me attitude as well when I left. This is such a bad experience for me as a customer.

Negative experience: Late Review: Visited this 11/17/20 for a basic cleaning because my normal dentist was booked solid due to COVID. I can honestly say that there was very little effort into cleaning my teeth. I take great pride in my oral care and at the end of my visit I was informed that I would need not 1, not 2 but 8 cavities filled. Ummm.... I beg your pardon. I just saw my other dentist 6 months ago and there was no indication of cavaties. I didn't trust what they were telling me to and immediately set my 6 month appointment be at my regular dentist. Just FYI, it's been 2 years and 4 cleanings and my current dentist hasn't found those 8 cavaties that Mint found. Please be careful where you get your oral care. You may be paying for more than you need.

Negative experience: This location is disgusting! The furniture is dirty and the office was not cleaned on my visit. Just disgusting! All Mint Denistry does is rack up good reviews by offering free teeth whitening when in actuality there horrible! I came in and brought my son and they gave him a five minute teeth cleaning seriously but I was the prize someone who needed a lot of dental work, so they proceeded to take a whole bunch of XRays, told me I needed a deep scale cleaning and then walked me to the front where I talked to someone who worked there who called my teeth, tooth A, B and C etc…and ran down a $14,000 dental bill of work I needed. I had no clue what teeth they were talking about and it was a horrible experience. Once, I left I called my old dentist up And went in for X-rays etc same process and my old dentist showed me all my problems, explained why I needed the work I needed and let me come up with a plan as to how I wanted to handle my dental work and the total cost was only a little over $1,000 for more than Mint Denistry said I needed. They are a rip off. They were charging me $128.00 per cavity and my new dentist charges $33.00 per cavity. My new office is clean, professional and offers good old-fashioned Denistry with explanations. Do not waste your money going to Mint. Always do your homework when companies say you need work done and the prices are way too high.

Fantastic experience: Mint dentistry was amazing from the receptionist to the dental assistant very friendly now to the dentist he was amazing and very knowledgeable he is a very cool dentist lol . He was very gentle but got the job done. I experienced the massage chair and was offered to watch Netflix or listen to Pandora. I recommend this place I visit the Westimer location.

My dental hygienist was very gentle and always asked if I was okay while cleaning. They gave me all the info I needed and was very for thing giving with any information I needed. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Mint for years—never had a problem with billing or service or anything. They are thorough but quick. Today I had Kenny for my dental assistant and he’s officially my favorite—great conversation, gentle, and I didn’t overflow with drool not even once lol. I’ve had cavities filled that required some checking back and they’re always quick with getting you on the schedule and making sure you’re taken care of. Literally no complaints.

Negative experience: Highly upset. I called them 2 weeks in advance to make an appointment. I get here they said my appointment got cancel because I didn’t confirm yet no one told me I would have to confirm my appointment. I didn’t get a text or call or email absolutely nothing. So pretty much I wasted my time and no one can do nothing but schedule another appointment. Like it’s that easy for them they don’t care if they wasted your time. Horrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.

Negative experience: Wanted to look at other locations for reviews. I went to katy office terrible experience. Went there for cleaning left after an hour and a half without it. Nice people but seems no one actually works. Was hoping this location was better but apparently not. What a wasted 4 hrs vacation, all I got was xrays and im still waiting for them to send those to me Dont waste your time going here.

Negative experience: So where do I start I made a appointment for my bi annual cleaning. I arrived there very very nice office they sat me in a massage chair turn on my favorite tunes on Pandora took my x-rays and said I needed 2 fillings. Once the financial person came to speak to me about the cost after insurance I told her I would have to come back for that work. I asked could we proceed with the cleaning and she stated after I had already been there for over a hour that the person who do cleaning is busy and I would have to come back later that day to get what my appointment was originally for. And she would walk me to the door so I felt because I couldn't afford the over $800 dollars that they were requesting from me they no longer wanted to take care of what I came there for. Yes they do have all the extras but my main concern was my teeth and getting the service I asked for so sometimes what glitters isn't always gold take the shades off that they give you people and see what's going on .A very unsatisfied customer

Fantastic experience: I always have an exceptional experience during my visits. From the front desk to the room everyone is always very pleasant and professional. My dental tech today was Karen and she was Absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: The staff was so polite and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. My wait time was very short. Everyone was very friendly. I love the atmosphere in the waiting room. I was able to watch Netflix while waiting for my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: From the front door to the back each time I have been to this location I have been beyond satisfied with the service that I have received. After having numerous bad experiences with dentists I was expecting to just get in and get out. However , my concerns were heard and I actually felt very comfortable with the information and treatment i I received . So much so that I am prepared to spend the millions of dollars (jk) and get all the work done that I need to make me smile again.

Negative experience: Pros: Nice facility, the ability to listen to music while you're having services done. Con: Not all staff are professional, twice my appointment ran over and I wasn't seen on time. They had to reschedule my cleaning due to being behind. Went in a third time due to feeling pain after the last visit and the assistant was less than impressive, laughing at my pain and being condescending the entire visit. No follow up call to see if things were improved. I'll be going to another dental office to see what was missed. Good concept but lacking.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Awesome staff and a great facility. They were so helpful and netflix and the massage chair were awesome. The charcoal toothpaste they have is great too, very effective. Is it weird that Im looking forward to my next dentist appointment? 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: Superb visit today. Everyone was so professional and thorough. I had my braces removed today (by another provider) and scheduled my cleaning for this afternoon. After my cleaning my teeth feel so much better and the staff walked me through my treatment and what my treatment plan entails.

Fantastic experience: Extraordinary customer service and comfortability from the front desk, to the doctor, to the hygienist, to the finance/pricing and back to the front desk. The extremely supportive and up lifting personalities through the whole process. Amazing communication & focus for concerns! Definitely a rejuvenating experience! I loved it! Can't wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: The staffing is great and very understanding. They helped me get through my experience with laughing and keeping me very calm. The manager came in and spoke to me about my visit and how to proceed with my future visits and I thought that she was phenomenal with the information. And the MASSAGE CHAIRS, I’ve never been to a dentist with massage chairs. They are and overall great team and I’d recommend anyone to become a patient.

Negative experience: Unprofessional manager Jannai H. disregard for appointment time after arriving on time was told I had to wait for 45 minutes to an hour, who wants to sit in a waiting room when there is COVID. The office manager said that "courtesy was given to other patients" will never book another appointment at MINT DENTISTRY again. I have been going here for 3 years never seen the same dentist twice, there rotation is ridiculous.

Negative experience: This location is a true mess!! Went there for the first time for my yearly checkups and cleaning, I got prices on the phone and based on that scheduled my appointment! Price was 149.99 .The minute I arrived they have charge $99 for X-rays which is most dentist clinics do not charge for that, anyways what she calls herself the dentist stated I have 7 cavities and gave me a price for cleaning for $500, I felt uncomfortable and didn’t take that lady so seriously, booked an appointment with a 5 star well known dentist was very informative professional and did a free X-ray , $150 deep cleaning plus baking soda treatment and got his opinion on my overall teeth wellness and found only one cavity and showed me where is it located. I was shocked how they changed the prices all of a sudden from 149.99 deep cleaning to become $500. This is way unacceptable and will not be back 0 stars

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend this place Friendly Staff made me feel right at Home, from the moment you walking. Kenny was the one that clean my son and mine teeth and did a Great Job he took the time to explain to mine son how to keep his teeth looking great. And was very kind thank you.

Fantastic experience: I love the experience every time I come to Mint dentistry on Westheimer . I have Never loved the dentist whatsoever but they make me extremely comfortable and they are sure to explain every process before hand so that I know what to expect. They always check to make sure I’m not experiencing any pain. Also the receptionist Janae is always so pleasant and she even calls after each appointment to follow up and make sure everything is okay. I really appreciate the customer service that they provide!

Fantastic experience: This office was such a great experience. Personally I am afraid of the dentist due to past bad experience and the staff here was very accommodating and nice and overall friendly and helpful. I look forward to going there to finish the work I need done.

Negative experience: Read the update... This place is awesome! The have netflix and pandora, massage chairs, and sunglasses for the appointment. They are super nice and make you feel comfortable. The whitening is also a plus. You should visit this location soon Update: Nov 2019 - My appointment was scheduled for 11:15a. I arrived at 11am to brush my teeth and complete paperwork. When I finished it was 11:15a and they notified me that I had to wait one hour because they were behind due to scheduled treatments for patients. I drove 2 miles up the road to go shopping. At 11:45 they called and said my room was ready. At 11:55a when I arrived back in the office they said my room is waiting to be cleaned. At 12:15p they said the room should take no more than 2-3 minutes. I then waited until 12:30p and was finally seen. I've been a patient since 2017 but I wont be back. I left work for a cleaning and missed 3 hours of work. They offered me a $50 credit but I'll take my business elsewhere. I was debating if I should update this but felt it was necessary.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this location of MINT. The staff were very welcoming when I arrived and were very helpful during my x-rays and cleaning. The doctor was extremely helpful at explaining everything as well. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Previously before I moved from Texas I had an appointment at this location. The first day I arrived the environment and service was pleasant. However when I was advised to schedule an appointment, the appointment date experience was not to my likings. The dentist who serviced me was very sarcastic. I fell asleep due to the awesome accommodation of pandora and comfortable seating. Upon receiving the service from the dentist, he made sarcastic slurs. I couldn’t grasp everything he was stating after a long day of dealing with life situations at the time. I felt like he assassinated my character by his poor jokes and comments. Needless to say, I would recommend the excellent service received from the staff just not the dentist.
