Fantastic experience: All staff were super friendly and welcoming from the start! Everything was timely and well-managed. Stefany was my hygienist, she was insightful on dental care recommendations and did an amazing job. Shelley was very helpful in talking through my different treatment options and took the time to listen and come up with a plan. Fantastic experience: I had pain I went to another dentist who doesn’t help, they give me appointments on 15 days to come back for extraction. and didn’t even offer something to help with the pain i pass 2 days I couldn’t sleep with the pain. I search on google and find DR Philips I got my teeth extracted the same day , they have a great team who care about patients , the assistant Eileen was great he was so patient with me the whole time and I was so nervous but she assure me, Dr Tarver was awesome explaining everything , he is patient and skilled I was in good hand , I felt no pain at all. There was another nurse who offered me ibuprofen when I was done. They all so caring. The whole team work together to give an outstanding patient experience.

Fantastic experience: I had such an incredible experience at Dr. Phillips Dentistry! Will, my dental hygienist, was so gentle and kind during the whole procedure. Even though I was nervous and struggled with one of the deep X-rays, he showed so much patience and always comforted me. He kept amazing communication throughout to make sure I was doing okay without any issues. The entire staff is so patient, kind, and uplifting! Dr. Tarver is the best dentist I’ve ever had — gentle, kind, and extremely communicative. I was scared of my first root canal, but he took the time to educate me on every step. Thanks to him and the team, I no longer fear the procedure. I’m also grateful to Shelley and Frankie, who clearly explained and broke down the entire cost. Everything was transparent, with no surprises, which I really appreciated. Anahi, another dental hygienist, made my deep cleaning a painless and enjoyable experience. She kept full communication to ensure I was comfortable and patiently educated me on how to maintain healthy oral hygiene. I truly look forward to each appointment with this amazing team. It was an unforgettable experience — better than any dental care I’ve ever received in Japan! They always put the patient first, with impeccable attention to detail and genuine care. Negative experience: Would not recommend they messed up my insurance and sent me a bill for $30 two weeks later. Also can never get a hold of them. Their office hours are only during when most people are working and they’re closed on the weekends. How are you supposed to contact them? No way to leave a voicemail either. Response- I will definitely not be back after how rude and unfriendly Frankie was. Well, I called him on the phone and expressed my concerns. He just gave me one word answers and just stayed quiet on the phone until I kept talking. Definitely not a pleasant experience. The dentist are fantastic. The rest of the staff not so much.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Tarver and Dr. Phillips Dentistry. I was initially very nervous and anxious about going to any dentist. Dr. Tarver and the whole team there have eased my anxiety and I am now very comfortable and relaxed going to my appointments. For reference I had an emergency extraction, deep cleaning, crown (first in my life), and am now getting an implant to replace the extraction - not stuff for the faint of heart. If you have been putting off going to the dentist - give them a try. Share your concerns and they will explain everything to help you feel confident and comfortable. 5+ Stars!

Negative experience: I honestly wish I had written this review sooner. If you care about your teeth, do NOT go to this dentist. I went in to see Dr. Tarver with pain, and he told me all I needed was a crown. That crown had to be refit four different times, and I was still in major pain throughout the entire process. They insisted I did not need a root canal, but the pain was so severe I had to be numbed repeatedly. It was a horrible experience each time, and the crown never fit properly. In total, I spent thousands of dollars only to end up going to another dentist for a second opinion. There, I was told I absolutely needed a root canal. My tooth was badly infected, and I had to redo the entire process, root canal with an endodontist, then a new crown. Now my tooth is finally fine. This office cost me so much time, money, and unnecessary pain. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Came in because I felt like I had a cavity they were able to squeeze me in the same day for a crown. Shelly is the MVP! She decide to assist Dr. Wasson with my crown because they were busy and she didn't want me to wait too long. And she did an amazing job. Same with Dr. Wasson! One thing I hated about going to the dentist is the numbing shots you get before they drill. Dr. Wasson is a pro because I did not feel a thing when I was getting the shots. They were fast and efficient! 10/10 would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I had been going to this practice for 15 years up until five years ago when my dentist retired and sold the practice and though I’d loved Sandra the dental hygienist (The best I’d ever had) I decided to go to a new Dental practice five minutes from my house versus driving minimum 30–40 minutes to Dr. Phillips area particularly since I had no dental work that needed to be done. Well, I was told in January I needed five fillings replaced so by chance I called (this) my old Dental office to find out that Sandra was still there ( now 22 years) and she recommended that I get a second Opinion on all the dental work suggested. I went last week met Dr. Wasson DMD and he said I did need to get them replaced and then if I wanted, he could do it in one visit two or three visits as was suggested. Luckily, by chance, Sandra had a cancellation today versus waiting two months for a cleaning and the doctor also had an opening right after my cleaning) So I’m writing this today to say Dr Wasson Is now the best dentist and the most pain-free I have ever gone to. I think he had to give me at least five injections and I felt zero pain or discomfort, and he was so fast doing all the work. So I highly recommend anybody that has been putting off dental work because of fear and/or if you need to get their teeth cleaned Sandra, hands down, is the best I’ve ever been to. And they are always on schedule and take you back exactly at the time you’re scheduled. I’m so happy to be back as a patient of theirs and I don’t care how far I have to drive!

Fantastic experience: My first time here. The dental hygienist, Gabriella, did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth. She was very gentle & meticulous ---- it was very clear that she takes pride in her work. The dentist took the time to examine my teeth, ask the appropriate questions and provide solutions, explaining in detail the minor issues I have with my teeth. You definitely get undivided attention from them... I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the dental exam, the dentist, the front office group and the technician who worked with Dr. Ben. They answered all my questions and my teeth cleaning was amazing. New technology, well kept office, privacy during treatment also a plus.
Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dentist closer to me. From the initial interaction with the receptionist, I knew it was going to be a good experience. Everyone there was very personable and I feel I had a good rapport with. Everything was explained to me to my understanding, from my treatment plan, cleaning and financial. There was a tiny wait to get in with my cleaning, BUT, they were nice, acknowledged it, and apologized, which stood out to me bc I’ve been to offices where they make you feel like another number. But this office didn’t!

Fantastic experience: When you enter Dr. Phillips Dentistry, you’re greeted with beautiful smiles and pleasant receptionists. The office manager, Frankie, a real sweetheart, is often at the front desk helping in one way or another. The waiting room has cute and funny decor and a tv which shows closed captioning, so you know what’s going on in the show from anywhere in the room. My hygienist, Sandra, is the most gentle one I’ve ever had. She’s very sweet. And she’s so helpful, that when she quoted my price, including x-rays, she explained the pricing program the office offers AND had the staff contact Cigna, whose plan gives me a dental allowance. She assured me that using my own plan would work out best for my finances. Dr. Tarver, is SO knowledgeable and kind that I am totally relaxed throughout my whole exam. They are super clean in there and there’s plenty of parking. I honestly feel like I go to visit friends when I go to the dentist. It’s a wonderful experience every time I’m there.

Fantastic experience: I believe I have been going to this dental office for a year now, and I must say it is such an upgrade from my previous dental office! From the technology, to the friendly staff, the education they provide, and their top notch service I couldn't be more pleased! I always request Sandra for my regular dental cleanings because she is gentle handed, kind, and very thorough. Shelly is just as kind and is always able to answer my questions or concerns! Frankie is the practice manager and he explained my Invisalign treatment plan and all the costs associated up front and was never pushy for me to make a decision like other dental offices I've been to in the past. Last, but not least Dr. Tarver is an absolute gem. He is doing a phenomenal job with my Invisalign plan and has been very attentive, and reassuring throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: This is my second time coming to Dr Phillips Dentistry. My hygienist both times was Anahi. She is amazing! She is kind. She describes everything she is doing as she’s doing it. She’s thoughtful and also educates you in a gracious way to help your dental health. I’m someone who feels nervous about dentist visits and Anahi makes it easier. The space itself is clean and has up to date technology. The front desk is friendly. The location can be tricky to find, but they do have good signage to help. Also, my dentist was also great! I have no complaints!! And highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice for about 20 years. The staff is always pleasant and Sandra always does an amazing job during my routine dental cleanings. Honestly, I’m not a fan of getting my teeth cleaned but she makes it stress free!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in, the entire staff at Dr. Phillips Dentistry was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was nervous as I knew I needed a tooth extraction done. Frankie and Ailin made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. Dr. Tarver was incredible, the procedure was done and he was so gentle, thorough and super informative. They all have amazing personalities and checked in with me to make sure I was feeling ok the very next day. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist office since I moved from New Jersey to Orlando a little over four years ago. Now, I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else! Dr. Tarver and my dental hygienist Anna are not only amazing people, they have a way of making you feel right at home and comfortable. They don't rush through your exam and have listened to each of my concerns about my dental health. When I saw my primary care doctor for some recurring headaches, he suggested I ask my dentist about a night guard. Dr. Tarver got me in quickly and took care of it and my headaches have subsided. These folks are more than just a dentist and hygienist, they genuinely care about their patients. If you are new to the area, or looking for a better experience at your dentist, I highly suggest you visit Dr. Phillips Dentistry!

Negative experience: Clients beware. If you are In-Network, have this company bill your insurance after service has been provided. Do not agree to pay for services rendered (except for your co-pay or other services not covered by insurance). We were forced to pay after our visit. It was more than what should have been paid. I said to bill my insurance and they refused and said we need to pay first. Now, it's been almost two months. The worst part about this is that we were lied to after the fact. I called a few weeks later to ask for my refund since I checked the EOB and it showed this company was paid by insurance. . The representative told me they are still waiting for the insurance payment. Now it's been almost 2 months so I called my insurance company. My insurance company told me the provider was paid a week later (after Date of Service). My Insurance company also told me that since they are In-Network, they should file a claim to get paid and then bill the customer what is owed afterwards. So, now I need to call and ask for what is owed to me after they already lied to me. We don't trust companies like this.

Fantastic experience: Staff was very professional and friendly, as they always are (I’ve been coming to this practice for years now). Shelley did a great job explaining the process to me, very nice and helpful. I got an extraction done today, and was a little nervous about. Jennifer the dental assistant, did a great with making me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Tarver also did a great making me feel comfortable and everything went smooth with the extraction. Overall the whole team here is great and they are the reason why I’ve stuck with them for all this time now.

Fantastic experience: After having really bad experiences in the past when it comes to dentists, I finally found a practice that makes you feel at home. Everyone in the office has a smile for you and they make sure you are well taken care off. The service and care they provide is outstanding and they will work with you to find the most affordable way to get the care you need. They won't try to up-sell services you don't require and always treat you with respect. Both Dr Wasson and Dr Traver are really nice and make you feel comfortable while providing pain free treatment.

Fantastic experience: Wow! I have no words with how amazing this place is! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable and very welcoming! I was greeted with smiles and checked in immediately. I was taken to the back not even 3 minutes later. Stefany and Ailin were AMAZING! Highly recommend them both ! They were patient, kind, gentle and explained everything step by step. Dr Wasson is also very thorough! I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since 2005 and everyone is always so friendly. The dental hygienists always makes me feel comfortable and everyone is always willing to take the time to answer any questions you may have. Fantastic experience: I had my first visit today at Dr. Phillips Dentistry and I can sincerely say I have found my forever dental practice. Stephany is the best Dental Hygienist I’ve ever had hands down. I have very sensitive gums & teeth so I absolutely despise having to go into a dental office; however, my cleaning with Stephany was so pleasant. She was gentle yet thorough, very sweet and most importantly, knowledgeable. Dr. Wasson completed my visit with a thorough exam and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns with professionalism, care and respect.
